Had a event here and the staff were phenomenal! Samantha set it up, and made it super simple, and Joshua executed it to perfection the day of. Servers - Alexandra, Nieve, Alexa all made the day so memorable for my team and I couldn’t be happier. Will definitely have my next event here and couldn’t have went smoother!

I don’t write reviews. I just wanted to say this; every time I place a carry out order the staff is always so nice. It’s not forced but completely genuine. The past two people to bring out my Pazzokie have been incredibly nice! Also the fact that BJ’s now has gluten free options is just amazing.

Had a great experience catching up with friends and the food was great! Alan did a great job with steps of service and helping us decide what to get and helped make sure all the preferences and requests of the table were fulfilled. I would request Alan by name next time I come!

My wife and I stopped by for lunch after church as we had several gift cards to use at BJ’s. We have been to this location a few times. This time around I decided I will leave a review. I’ve always seen BJ’s as a chill spot to hang out with friends or family. They are a casual American restaurant serving a broad menu of comfort foods such as pizza, ribs, pasta, steaks, burgers, etc. they also offer a wide variety of drinks and cocktails. They have 10 TV’s spread throughout the restaurant. They have a fun happy hour menu available Monday-Friday that includes their signature Pizookie! Our server was Randle, and we found him to be very polite and helpful. We ordered their Prime Rib and Sample platter. The prime rib was cooked just the way we like it, but it lacked a lot of flavor. The sample platter was great, except that the sliders barely had any meat in it. Everything else was great such as the wings, mozzarella sticks and the spinach dip. Our server Brian was very attentive to our table. He ensured that our food came out in a timely manner and checked up on us, which we appreciated! He also had a dashing haircut which was fitting to the overall experience we had at BJ’s. Food was great. Would come back again.

My family came to eat here and we had a great experience. Our server, Jay (Jared) was very attentive to our table and checked on us frequently. It was very refreshing to have a bilingual server who was able to answer all of our questions. He was very friendly and welcoming. We will be coming here again!

Alan V. was our server and was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! There’s not many people like him who walk around with a smile on their face and make you feel like you’re asking for too much. He made our dinner at BJ’s feel like home. He checked up to see if we needed anything appropriately. BEST SERVICE EVER!!! I hope he is getting great pay and that BJ’s notices his OUTSTANDING service. Britany is a fantastic server. Our food (boneless wings, gluten free vegetable pizza, cheese burger with veggie patty and caramel pizookie) was delicious, while the pumpkin ale was smooth and comforting. I’ll definitely be back.

The food was good, I had a good burger and husband had a great pizza but really the star of the shower was Dylan our server! We had a baby and he made sure their food came out first and kept us updated on anything from the kitchen if the food took too long etc. Got us refills and sides and didn’t make us feel bad that the baby made a bit of a mess. Good kid, great service :)

DOUG D. Is the absolute best. Our work group visits often, and every time we’re lucky enough to be seated with Doug! The experience is always exceptional. He is consistently attentive and friendly even when the place is busy. He remembers our preferences, checks in at all the right moments, and make us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in their service, and it truly elevates the whole dining experience. We always walk away impressed—thank you for taking such great care of us!

Very loud. Food was okay. Service was okay. Husband had Rib eye steak and the amount of broccoli on his plate resemble a mini tree. Lol. I had the salmon and the rice pilaf was very mushy.

When I first walked in, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The wait times were alright, and the food was really good. What amazed me was the service. I went in with a group of friends, and the server Alan worked his magic. He catered to us perfectly and made a professional amount of small talk. He said a couple jokes to lighten up the mood as well. Overall a really good experience! They can't do it without Alan!

Only a 30 min wait on a Friday wasn’t bad. Brayan was very nice. Gave us suggestions on drinks and complimented our festive attire. When he came to the table he was Amazing, but was busy at other tables quite often so for how busy they were they should have had another waiter on the floor.

We ate at the Mission Valley location on Thursday afternoon. It was 2:00 pm and packed but the wait was only ten minutes. The service was prompt and our waitress was very attentive. The menu is extensive with many different selections at reasonable prices. We have eaten at four different locations and the building differ slightly but the rest is the same. I like the atmosphere in Mission Valley the best. They offer along with regular menu a $13.00 special with seven or more delicious selections which includes dessert of your choice. This is the best value I’ve seen at a premier restaurant in years. The bar is complete with happy hour deals you will see in the menu photos. Parking is free and very plentiful. Handicap accessible and kids are welcome.

Out of all the restaurants, we chose BJ’s for lunch. They don’t offer lunch menu, it’s the same as their all day menu but they have happy hour menu. We got a small personal deep dish pizza, BJ’s Favorite which is like meat lovers. I loved this because it reminds me of Pizza Hut. The Brewhouse Sampler had sliders, choice of wings, mozzarella sticks and artichoke spinach dip. The sliders were dry, the bone in wings were small but decent, the artichoke dip was lacking spinach. Then we got chicken Alfredo, which tasted like the can. Afterwards, I regretted picking this place over the other chains because they don’t have a lunch menu which meant more out of pocket. Their menu is so massive and overwhelming. Crossed this off the books and not coming back.

BJ's represents comfort in a real sense. Large menu of food, beer wine, cocktails and even soda. On this occasion we tried the beer flight of delicious local beers from light to double IPA and stout. We tried the spicy pizza with ham and pineapple (think spicy Hawaiian) which had a crisp thick pan crust. We also tried the California chicken club with juicy white meat, avocado, crisp bacon and accompanied by well-seasoned fries. BJ's is always great for a drink and bite.

The environment was extremely dirty. The restroom was filthy, with a strong smell of urine and urine on the floor. The food arrived after 30 minutes and it was cold. The steak was terrible — it was very undercooked with a large piece of unrendered fat. The only positive part of the experience was our server, a man named Mateo. He was very polite and friendly. The one star is only for him.

So we havent been to bjs in a long time. Came tonight. Got seating pretty quick. There was 3 adults. Got 2 menus. After taking our drink orders and food order. Waiter brings us only 2 sets of silverware. Had to ask for extra set. Asked if we wanted straws we said yes. Only gave us 2. There is 3 adults. Brought out cup of soup. Cold. Waiter said I can throw it in the microwave. My daughter order a soup bowl. I was concern about reheating bread bowl. They brought out hotter soup. Chicken dinner..... the chicken was small. Rubbers and Luke warm. The veggies were cold as well. I would not recommend this bj. We will not be coming back.

It’s 1 o’clock after the busy lunch crowd I took photos of how empty this place was. First time at this location. Sat at a booth in the bar area and waited over 10 minutes for someone to visit me even though the tall girl with ponytail, possibly Latina or mixed, pass by my table 2 times. Another guy passed my table. No one greeted me until finally some dude working another section came around. The girl with the ponytail, also tall, took care of the booth in front of me and behind me after I got there. She’s probably one of those waiters that sees one person and says I don’t wanna take that order because my tip won’t be that much so I’ll let someone else take it. ordered the chicken, mashed potatoes and corn, which was middle of the road. Nothing stood out nothing special, but it took over an hour and a half to be served and get my check. I asked to speak to the manager, but once I saw who it was, I realize she look like some ex-Taco Bell employee, which now makes sense why this location has such poor service reviews. For a similar type of price point and $15 at outback steakhouse you get a three course meal with dessert and get better service and atmosphere. I could tell just by looking at the manager that she’s just not gonna have the ability to run a professional well run restaurant, so it makes sense that the food is low quality and the service is even lower.
