Wonderful under rated new business. A nice blend of Indian, American, Mediterranean, Pakistani cuisine. Beautiful atmosphere, very clean and great service. And the FOOD 😙 so good. The meat was so tender it was melt in your mouth, the gravies and spices were a bright flavorful blend. Best butter chicken I've had in san diego. Took friends here and everyone was really impressed. Apologies started eating the food before taking pictures, it smelled too good to wait!

We were total 7 people. And we loved all foods. We had chicken handi, chicken biryani, beef nihari, lahori daal, chapli kebab kabuli pulao, beef seekh kebab, naan. Everything was so good. Would love to go again.

The food was excellent. The kabobs were cooked to perfection, the loaded fries were flavorful, and the portion sizes were very generous. I also appreciated the unique combination of Afghan, Pakistani, Mexican, and American burger influences, which blended surprisingly well. I will definitely be returning.

As soon as you walk into Casa Lahori, you instantly feel like you’re in the right place. We came here for the breakfast buffet, and the strong morning tea was absolutely perfect — I ended up having three cups! The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the overall experience was amazing. Highly recommend this place for an authentic and satisfying start to your day!

Casa Lahori Restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is super delicious, full of rich flavors, and always fresh. The customer service is outstanding – the staff are so friendly, welcoming, and truly make you feel at home. It’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had, and I highly recommend everyone to visit and try their food. You won’t be disappointed!😋☺️

I've had Indian food many times but this was my first time having Pakistani food. I was not disappointed, everything tasted great. We got the family platter and shared between 3 people and still had leftovers.

A delightful in so called for authentic Pakistani / Afghani food. The name says it all. I just had their Qeema naan and it was fresh amazing and delicious wish they would have put a bit more Qeema. The menu online is old, they don’t have paratha rolls on the menu. I over heard the chef speak with the staff and I just knew this plays rocks! Wish I had the time and the appetite to have tried out other items on their menu. Sundays they have Kabuli pulaoo and halwa puri wish i could’ve tried! Next time In Shā Allāh!! 🤗 🥰

My wife always finds a way for us to go to a Pakistani restaurant in every city we have travelled to, and Casa Lahori has by far been the best authentic food we have tried so far. In her words, the Nihari reminds her of the food streets of Karachi. A must try!

We challenged ourselves to ‘go east’ of 5. I’m glad we did. We wanted to take advantage of Restaurant Week so we chose this place based on the pictures on Instagram. The food was so delicious and were hefty portions. The staff was very accommodating and helped with our choices. We sat outside near the water fountain which was a pleasant feature cause it was a warm day. I’m so happy it was a successful venture east of 5. Food was off the charts. We will certainly be back. BTW…we had chicken curry, rice, naan, beef kabobs, some other appetizer they said was rolls but was more like burritos size rolls. Gotta love that.

The food was already top notch and the extremely attentive service knocked it over the top. Everything my table had - and we ordered kebabs, fish and fries, and extra naan - was perfectly cooked. Meat super tender, seasoning on point, and that naan... man alive, that naan. I'm still thinking about that naan. This is almost a 40 minute drive for me and I'm already trying to figure out when I can go back. Highest recommendation. If you are missing this food, you are MISSING OUT!

Excellent service by karan. We ordered Nihari, butter chicken and mangoes lassi. Nihari was amazing. Butter chicken could have been better. Mango lassi was delish. We were seated outside which was perfect given the amazing weather. Service was perfect. The toilet was clean. Would definitely love to visit again

If you are Casa Lahore, bring in some of Lahore’s famous authentic food. Samosa, daal and Nihari were pretty good. Malai boti was pathetic. It was not till and it was not malai and it was too bland. At best, it was below average wrap. Wish you all the best

Came here for dinner this evening. We ordered the family platter that serves 4 for $54.99 and a samosa for appetizer. Samosa was not included in the family platter price. Samosa was piping hot and very tasty. The family platter came with choice of bbq, we picked the chicken tikka kebab and it was very good. We also had a choice of main dish and we had the beed nihari. This dish was not bad. It was just greasy. You can see al the oil on top of the gravy. But other than that, it was good. We also had a choice of biryani and we ordered the goat biryani. The biryani was really good and tasty. Basmati rice also came with the family platter and 2 naans. We got the garlic naan and it was the size of a small pizza. everything was delicious

Service was good, nice and clean with some Hindi music in the background. Loved the naan specifically the garlic and butter. They are massive. Tandoor chicken was nice and juicy. Curry was good but too much of oil and turmeric powder. Did see the biryani portion was good. Overall good experience.

It’s a Pakistani restaurant that offers a slightly different menu. They have burgers, wraps, curry dishes, etc. We ordered butter chicken, shahi paneer, butter naan and garlic chili naan. Both curry dishes were flavorful but they were salty and more on the spicy side. The waiter was nice to give us a mango lassi to go with it. Garlic chili naan was a good choice. The table next to us ordered Tikka Kabab and it looked great. He also mentioned that it was spicy. I suppose their dishes are on the spicier side so ask to adjust accordingly. One thing i wasn’t too thrilled about is that they gave us the water pitcher from next table after that guy left, when we asked for more water. It wasn’t too sanitizing. Hope they don’t do that again.

I recently visited Casa Lahori and ordered the family platter for 4, which came with goat biryani, chicken handi, fish BBQ, and rice. There were six of us, and after asking the waiter if we needed more, he assured us that the platter for 4 would easily serve our group. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case at all. The portions were far smaller than expected—barely enough to satisfy even four people. After realizing the platter wasn’t enough, we tried ordering extra goat biryani, only for the waiter to inform us it was unavailable after taking the order. We ended up getting chicken biryani and butter naan instead, which was frustrating and felt unprofessional. The food was decent but not exceptional. Compared to the Pakistani restaurants I’ve tried in the NY/NJ area, Casa Lahori doesn’t measure up. To top it off, the takeaway gulab jamun we ordered were hard and lacked the softness you'd expect. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. The service was disappointing, and the food was just average. Not a place I’d be in a hurry to return to.

The food has unfortunately changed. Not authentic Pakistani food. Biryani didn’t have enough spices. Shouldn’t be marketed as biryani, it’s plain rice. Chicken thigh kebab was amazing. The samosas are amazing. Fried fish - didn’t care for. A few other dishes were ok.

Ordered chicken handi, lahori daal, butter naan and basmati rice. Unfortunately none were to the standard we expected both given our experience with lahori food and the videos/marketing they had going on. First of all they didn’t have the puri chana hugely advertised on social media - big disappointment. The butter chicken was watery. Daal tastes off, naan was not in a tandoor - likely an oven. Overall very disappointing and I’m being generous with my 2* review only because Karan our host was very friendly and helpful.

I was curious what Pakistani food tastes like and saw this restaurant has such high reviews so decided to give it a try. Disappointed isn’t still enough to describe how I felt. Boneless handi was very oily and extremely salty. I have a tongue for salty food but I couldn’t even eat more than 2 bites before throwing the rest away. It wasn’t edible. Chicken kabob was decent though it was kind of salty as well. Both naan were thin, dry and salty. Make sure to check your togo order before you leave the restaurant. They missed my 2 orders of naan, good thing that I decided to check the bag on my way to the car so I had to go back and let them know. And no apologies were said. Will never come back here.

This restaurant is NOT authentic Pakistani or Lahori food at all. It is clearly Afghan-style food, and the name is completely misleading. We ordered Lahori fish, which smelled so bad that it was impossible to eat. When we complained, the waitress refused to acknowledge the issue and claimed it was “normal.” Only after involving the owner—who happened to be sitting at the front—did we get any response and he took it back. The chicken tikka boti, seekh kabab, and chicken biryani were all extremely bland and tasted nothing like real Lahori food. The naan was so hard and crispy it felt like a frisbee, not naan. Everyone working there, including the owner, was speaking Afghani, and the food matched that style—not Pakistani. We know exactly how both Pakistani and Afghan food should taste, and this was 100% Afghan. Calling this place Pakistani or Lahori is deceptive. They should change the name to something Afghan instead. Very disappointing experience. Glad we didn’t waste money ordering more.

A year ago Handi was full of flavor with succulent pieces of white meat. Yesterday, bowl was greasy with whole chilis so hot I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, brought to go so I couldn't return it. I think cook was trying to hide a burnt taste with chili. Horrible.
