Perfect spot for a post-walk meal! Molly’s has a fantastic variety of healthy options at prices that are actually affordable. It’s a casual, walk-up-and-order setup which makes for a great atmosphere with friends. We all loved our food and felt energized afterward! For those looking at my photos: The 'green' dish: That’s the Egg White Frittata—it tasted great and felt so fresh. The plate with sweet potato: That’s the Breakfast Bowl, highly recommend if you want something hearty. The burrito: Their Breakfast Burrito, which was a hit. We would definitely recommend coming here if you want a meal that makes you feel good! Pet friendly
We stopped in while walking back to our car and we're surprised at how much room they were able to work out in their limited space. The pastries & cookies were amazing. I forgot to take pictures of the scones & chocolate chip cookie. The ham & cheese croissant and chocolate croissant were fantastic for breakfast the next morning.
We stopped in for an iced tea while out for a walk and ended up staying for lunch. The employees are the most friendly and kind people I’ve encountered in a long time. The food was excellent!! The baked items were delicious and I could tell only the best ingredients were used. I had the breakfast bowl that was fresh with so many great flavors! My mother in law had the tuna sandwich on a huge toasted croissant that was also made in house. The outside patio area was a great place to sit and relax while we enjoyed our lunch. Big thanks to the staff for the fabulous food and service.
We stopped at Molly’s for brunch on the 4th of July before heading to the beach. The rooftop seating was a nice surprise — quieter than downstairs and with fun country throwback music. We ordered a Bloody Mary (served with a mini grilled cheese and bacon — delicious!) and an espresso mojito that was flavorful and not too sweet. The paleo bowl was filling and fresh, and the breakfast burrito had great flavor. Service was quick, and our server Turner was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid brunch spot with rooftop seating!
Molly’s is so cutie. Wonderful staff, and great vibes. The place itself is so cute and very inviting! I got a banana bread chai latte and it was heaven. Only thing I’d warn people who plan to come here: if you’re allergic to eggs and avocado (like me) eat elsewhere! Majority of menu items includes such. The waffle is delicious though, and would definitely come back again just for the coffee itself!
Absolutely delicious. We ate here almost everyday of our stay! From the coffee, to Shakshouka, & açaí bowls, they’ve got everything under the sun. Great serving sizes! Bonus is the friendliest staff & quick service!
The service I received here is hard to find in San Diego! SO KIND, patient, enthusiastic and friendly! ALSO THAT CROISSANT 🥐 WITH THE BACON, EGG AND CHEESE IS 10/10! I requested to remove all the extra stuff on it and it was amazing! Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had on the beach! Super high quality food and service! Thank you Molly’s! I will be back on my next beach vacation!
Delicious food! The turkey sandwich was scrumptious and the roasted sweet potatoes were to die for!
Highly recommend if you are looking for a good breakfast/brunch place in the area! Atmosphere is top tier and the place has plenty of outdoor seating! The food is amazing, especially the mission beach breakfast bowl and the Belgian waffle!
Solid new spot! Awesome atmosphere, decorated very nice, and has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Has a Hawaiian island vibe and very clean. All pastries looked good. The almond croissant was delish (ask for it heated up). Breakfast sandwich was great (we added bacon) and the acai bowl might be the best in PB/Mission. I'm not a coffee drinker but my wife said her iced hazelnut latte was great. All staff was very friendly and service was fast. The entire place (including upstairs) is dog friendly and a bowl of water was provided for the pup as soon as we sat down. We will definitely be back for breakfast and looking forward to trying lunch/dinner soon.
This is a must try for bfast. Real eggs, really kind employees, relaxing environment and music with outdoor and indoor seating. Ordered takeout, very nice packaging, to go boxes to the tissues. Excellent portion size, 15 min free parking in front, and paid public parking across the street. Also have pup treats.
This place is nothing short of amazing. I had the Shakshouka, Apple cinnamon monkey bread, and coffee butter iced coffee. Everything was AMAZING! But that Shakshouka…. It’s the best I’ve ever had. All the employees were sweet, but a special shout-out to Sage- super cool, informative, and most importantly nice. I have pictured the upstairs part!

We had our rehearsal dinner at Molly’s last Thursday and it was amazing!!! The staff, food, and drinks were perfect. Everyone was so nice and we really got our bang for our buck! Thank you all again!!

We hosted our open-bar wedding reception & dinner at Molly’s San Diego on the upstairs patio, and it was absolutely perfect. Almost every single guest commented on how amazing the reception was. The restaurant closes to the public at 2, which made the reception feel so intimate with just our guests—it was really special and exactly what we were hoping for. The food was really good and beautifully presented, and the staff was incredibly attentive from start to finish. They truly made us and our guests feel taken care of all night. The space itself was decorated so cute with string lights and sweet pink flowers on the tables, creating a romantic and fun atmosphere without us needing much extra décor. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special day. Highly recommend Molly’s for weddings, receptions, or any special event—you won’t be disappointed!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ Breakfast at Molly’s Mission Beach — where even the flies have great taste! We came in for breakfast and ordered the burrito, a pumpkin pancake latte, and a chocolate croissant that was absolutely divine. Everything tasted amazing — warm, flavorful, and made with care. Now, the real comedy came when I noticed a little guest reviewer inside the pastry case — a fly crawling casually across a chocolate chip cookie like he owned the place. I couldn’t even be mad… the cookie did look that good. I guess word’s out in the insect community — Molly’s pastries are worth the buzz. Between the friendly service, cozy beach vibe, and food that’s clearly irresistible to all species, I’d still come back in a heartbeat. Just maybe keep an eye on those cookie models — they’re attracting the wrong kind of fans.
We love Molly's for brunch or a quick coffee stop. The few cooked food items on the menu are delicious, our favorite is The Mission Breakfast Bowl. Decor is very cute. I am only giving it 4 stars because the spectacular upper deck has been closed off every time we visited in the past 2 months. Seems like there aren't enough servers to work that area. The gourmet coffee shop drinks are amazing, the pastries are very good and they offer Mimosas too!
Breakfast burrito was great! Same with the Lemon Blueberry Muffin, just delicious. The Mocha Latte tasted ok but was half or more foam.
my boyfriend and I have become locals at Moe's, which is right next door to Molly's. so we decided to try this out for a change. the ambiance is a very Bohemian vibe, reminds me of bali. very adorable, with an open concept, inviting a lot of light and creating a vibrant aesthetic. they have a rooftop patio which I felt we must experience, they do have a bar up there as well, but it wasn't as busy, so it was not open at the time of our visit. they asked you to order your food and drinks at the bar downstairs, and they'll bring it to your table. unfortunately, I was very disappointed in their food and drinks, but their service as well. it was not very welcoming and tainted. My overall experience their food is very bar style menu, very limited and not the best quality. what I will say has made us a returning customer, is the bakery located inside Molly's. their bakery is literally amazing! I dream about their croissants, and I've gone multiple times since my first visit. my boyfriend and I have tried a variety of items from their bakery, including their cinnamon rolls, their scones, they're Snickerdoodle cookies, ham and cheese croissants, and they're fresh smoothies. Highly recommend the bakery for all your pastry cravings.
It is a cute space with a bunch of breakfast options. Got the açaí bowl with almond butter. Was great. Also got the avacado toast which was refreshing. The wraps are good too. The quantity is quite less for the price though. Overall a spacious place, good decor. Has good enough plug points to use laptop for a while.
Last minute decision to come here because we needed a brunch please which had some good vegetarian options and also good aesthetic. Finding parking on a Saturday afternoon was hard but the place was lovely. Really like the aesthetic - both upstairs and downstairs. Food was delicious as well. Only downside is that the portion size seemed quite small on some dishes. Good amount of portion for the drinks though. Turkey Sandwich 5/5 Love the abundance of Turkey inside! So so good. Bacon was crunchy - Definitely a good thing. All the flavors went really well together. Just needed a bit of hot sauce and then it was perfect! Side of Cauliflower 4/5 - There was barely any cauliflower in here so this was quite to disappointment. Maybe like 4 small florets, and a bunch of quinoa and chickpea mix. Flavor was okay - nothing special. Egg White Frittata 4/5 - quite cheesy and liked how much vegetable there was in there. But this was actually quite small in size (not worth the money I would say). Also needed hot sauce to get that extra kick of flavor. Roasted Sweet Potato Side 5/5 - This was really nice. Nice char on the sweet potatoes and flavor was good as well. Vegetable Wrap 5/5 - friend ordered this and he said he really liked it. Good and satisfying for a lunch meal. Guava Mojito - 5/5 - really delicious and refreshing. Husband and friend both got one each and like them.

The waffle was tasty but was missing the whipped cream. The decor is cute. Low key mellow music fit the vibe. They would have fewer flies if they bussed tables sooner. Staff was disinterested. Won’t return… Plenty of other spots that feel more welcoming.

The atmosphere at Molly’s is absolutely lovely cozy and stylish. The servers were warm, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. As someone from the Middle East, I was excited to try the shakshuka, but unfortunately, it missed the mark for me. It was watery and lacked egged in it. On a more positive note, the drinks were great and the waffle was good. I’d come back for the drinks but not the food.
