Unique old school bar with chill vibes that accepts credit cards. Easy to have a good time with friends or strike up a conversation with a stranger as the music isn't intrusive and the bartender is more than attentive and friendly. Pinball in the back, board games are a fun option and a single pool table with a chalk board for keeping track of who plays next. Only serves beer due to an old law prohibiting the sale of liquor but that didn't deter my group. Would definitely stop by again to see if my wonderful experience is the norm. Give it a try, I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I had so much and really enjoyed talking with the regulars and the bartenders. Strong drinks, dim lighting and great service! If we lived in San Fran this would be our spot. Just want to say thank you to the owners & regulars for making us feel so welcome ! Love the laid back vibe, the owners who were behind the bar the night we went were so friendly, and went above and beyond (thanks for the band aid :) and all the advice !) Wonderful local bar / pub in the Mission District, San Francisco. A ton of craft beer choices both on draft and bottle. They also have house made sangria, punches and a good wine selection. They have pool (billiards), pinball, darts, and plenty of TV viewing for sports. Bartenders are super cool and I've always seen a good friendly crowd. You can bring your own food and I've seen pop-ups here on some Fridays. Shotwell's is definitely my new local spot.

A good neighbourhood bar with great bartenders. Can play pool and darts and pinball and even trivia on Tuesdays. They always are caring for their space. Recently they upgraded their outside patio area and got a new pinball machine. Just a great cosy place to drink and bring your own food to hangout!

I've been a Shotwells customer for over a decade. They have a great selection of beer, a pool table, a conversational atmosphere, and great bartenders and regulars. If you live in the neighborhood, you owe it to yourself to stop by, enjoy a pint, a good conversation, and on a sunny day, be sure to sit outside in their beautiful parklet.
