Avis sur Sky Bar San Francisco
I had only one drink which was great. I try not to spend more than 30$ on cocktails. The best part of this venue is the 360° degree view of the city. It is worth visiting. You can see the city lights for sure. But if you pay close attention, you can the lights across the waters as well. It was simply magical and a great place to take someone for a romantic date.
We enjoyed a nice evening sitting at the lower portion of the seating area by the windows and enjoyed a perfect view of the city. The drinks and appetizers were lovely. The highlight of the night though was when the lady sitting at the stool above us let out a huge fart mere inches from our faces. It was so loud my wife asked if it was me and I thought it was her. But alas it was the lovely woman above us who knows no shame in her epic fart game.
A Rainy Night at CityScape San Francisco If you are looking for the ultimate "mood" in San Francisco, CityScape Lounge is it. We visited on a rainy evening, and honestly, the weather only made the experience more magical. The Atmosphere Located on the 46th floor, the 360-degree views are breathtaking. Watching the rain streak across the floor-to-ceiling windows while the city lights of Union Square and beyond shimmered below created an incredibly cozy, cinematic vibe. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic date or a sophisticated nightcap. The Drinks & Bites We shared a bottle of sparkling wine, which arrived perfectly chilled in a marble cooler. The Wine: Crisp, refreshing, and tastes even better when you’re looking out over the skyline. The Snacks: We paired our drinks with their seasoned olives—a simple but high-quality touch that complemented the bubbles perfectly. Why You Should Go The service was attentive without being intrusive, allowing us to really soak in the vista. Even on a foggy or rainy night, the height of the lounge puts you right in the heart of the clouds. It’s easily one of the best vantage points in the city. Pro Tip: Try to snag a window seat (though with the layout, almost every seat has a great view) and just watch the city move below you. Would you like me to help you find the current menu or check their reservation availability for your next visit?
Attended a private event here sponsored by SF Pride and it was an amazing experience. The bar is on the top floor of the Hilton Union Square and you see amazing almost 360 views of the city and Bay! The drinks were great and the appetizers we had were delicious, especially the truffle chips and the beef empanadas. Service was friendly and professional.
Best rooftop of SF, and don’t say this lightly, I have been here for 10 years.! It is really the only one with real 360 degree views. It’s spacious and really well set up. Decor section is a bit old but I’ll say that’s part of the charm. Service is great. Max was hilarious and super helpful. Made us remember what good American service used to be. Good drink selection (very reasonable prices for SF, specially if you go by the bottle!) and not crowded Will be back and really enjoyed it.
I went there on a week day night. The bar wasn’t very crowded and it was open seating. I definitely felt like the view was a lot better than the one in the view lounge. There are a lot more seating that can see the view. The waiter was super nice. He gave us good recommendation on the cocktails and he also helped us take picture. We ate a little bit before we came so we didn’t get to order the food . But it seems like they have a good selection. The cocktail was really good. I really like the vibe there and I will definitely come back!
The décor marries modern minimalism with mythological motifs. The Celestial Sisters, once hidden in a historic theater, now watch over patrons in modern form, adding narrative depth and aesthetic nuance. The bar menu showcases imaginative craft cocktails such as the Nightfall, Midheaven, and more, each offering a creative and elevated drinking experience.
This place was very cute! It had a gorgeous panoramic view of SF. Occasionally our views were distorted by classic SF fog, but for the most part it was beautiful during the day time. I can only imagine the night lights would be even better. The drinks were pricey and the food was appetisers only. I recommend the cheeseboard with cocktails as a relaxed prequel to a nice date night dinner. Perfect atmosphere for chitchatting with your loved ones.
The panoramic skyline views are simply unbeatable, especially during sunset. It's the perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail while taking in iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, City Palace, Salesforce tower and Bay bridge. The ambiance is sleek and modern, with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe. The drink menu is creative, and the small bites are tasty, though a bit on the pricey side. Service was friendly, but it did take a while to get our drinks during peak hours.
Fantastic views of San Francisco! My friend and I visited on a Sunday right around opening at 4pm. We had a little trouble getting up there because the elevator we chose wouldn't let you go to the top floor, but we eventually made it by using a different elevator. It's quite a large space with almost every table having a view as there's a lower level with couches and tables for 2 facing the view and a slightly higher level with high top tables and chairs. We were told we could sit at any seat we wanted, so chose one facing the high rise buildings and Coit tower. The other side had a nice view of Golden Gate bridge but was partially closed off for a private party and got very bright just before sunset. I ordered Rising Sign and my friend ordered the cosmic cooler mocktail to start. My drink had a nice passion fruit flavor, but my friend thought hers was quite sour, we're guessing due to the blackberry and lime ingredients. For the second round, I ordered Baileyana Chardonnay and my friend ordered the Sunset Spritz. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the Chardonnay but my friend much preferred our mocktail this time. Would love to go back for sunset or to see the view at night.
I have lived in San Francisco for 35 plus years. I have had many friends stay at the Hilton Hotel over the years. I even spotted Paris Hilton once while there. But with all of my experiences with this vintage Hotel I could not talk them out of a cocktail on the house. But just seeing that Fabulous View was worth it.
After a full day of exploring the amazing city of San Francisco, we decided to end the evening with a relaxing drink at the Cityscape rooftop bar. Located high above the busy streets, it seemed like the perfect spot to enjoy a drink while taking in some stunning panoramic views of the city. When we arrived, the team advised us to help ourselves to any available seating, which we did. While this was straightforward, it did mean that the atmosphere felt a little chaotic at times, as there was no real organisation. Some people were clearly there just to take in the views rather than enjoy a drink, which led to them leaning over tables or standing directly in front of those seated. It was not directly the bar’s fault, but a host or a more structured seating system could have made the experience much smoother and more relaxing. On a more positive note, our server, Terry, was absolutely fantastic. He was both friendly and attentive, taking our drinks order quickly and ensuring they arrived not long after. His pleasant manner really added to the experience and made us feel well looked after. The bar itself is very nice, with a modern feel and incredible views of the city, even when the famous San Francisco fog rolls in and slightly obscures the skyline. Despite the slightly hectic nature of the seating, it was still a lovely way to finish our day, and with a little more organisation, it could easily be one of the best rooftop bar experiences in the city.
Cityscape Bar & Lounge certainly has one undeniable selling point: the view. Situated 46 stories up, it offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of San Francisco’s skyline that is hard to match. If you’re looking for a spot to soak in the city from above, this is definitely the place to be. However, beyond the stunning scenery, the experience was just okay. The cocktails, while decent, were quite overpriced for what you get. The portions were smaller than expected, leaving me feeling like I was paying more for the ambiance than the actual drink. It’s clear that the view is what you’re really paying for here. Overall, Cityscape is worth a visit if you’re aiming for a great photo op or want to impress someone with the city’s skyline. Just don’t expect too much in terms of value for money when it comes to the drinks.
My girlfriend and I decided to head over to this place after catching a show. We're locals, but wanted to grab a drink and to take in the views. We went on a Friday night and felt lucky to be seated immediately. The decor seemed a bit dated, especially knowing that it had just been remodeled, but the views were truly spectacular. The service was good, friendly and warm. But the drinks...what a let down. Both of the drinks we ordered - the French Blonde and a classic margarita - tasted surprisingly cheap and unbalanced. Honestly, we would have been disappointed if we had been served drinks of this quality at a dive bar. And they certainly were not what you would expect for these high end prices - the total for our two drinks, after tax and tip, was around $70. We were hoping for a memorable experience, but left feeling somewhat insulted and certain that not even the views could bring us back.
The view is nice if you could find a window seat. Food was not good and very small portions. The bar service was great and great drinks. Went to a table and service was non existent. Many servers walked past our table and never asked if we wanted anything and finally flagged one down. She was rude like we were bothering her.
General vibe isn’t bad for a first time experience. They did play random hip hop music that didn’t seem very fitting for this kind of setting. Only got 2 things and for $60 in total, isn’t worth it. The drink didn’t hit at all, not even a buzz and I’m a lightweight. $35 for 3 slices of cheese and meat and stiff bread is crazy work. Mind you, in my photo we had barely started picking at it. I’m looking back at another person’s photo of the charcuterie board in previous reviews, and it definitely did not look the same as what I received. No one was attentive the entire time we were at our table. We had to ask some random worker, not even sure if he was a server, to give us our bill which he also had the audacity to ask for us to leave a tip. But why tip when the bare minimum and expectations weren’t met and literally no one worked for it. There was minimal interaction with any employees so I’m not sure what’s there to tip for. I would only recommend to stop by just for the view cause that’s the only selling point. Other than that, don’t bother wasting your money on food or drinks.
The location is good for sunsets (as advertised), but when we arrived, we were refused seating (in an abrupt manner) on the side that would enable us to watch the sunset by one of the staff, claiming that the west side was booked for a private party. They appeared to make everyone sit on the opposite side from the sunset. We left after sunset, and there was still no one seated there. That seemed unnecessary and made me wish I had gone somewhere else to see the sunset. Unfortunately, once we had arrived, there was no chance of making it anywhere else for the sunset, so we stayed. I'd suggest calling ahead to see if they are actually seating people on the west side to avoid a disappointing experience. The food and drink were good, but overpriced. That would have been fine, had we seen the sunset from our table. On the plus side, we did get to walk over to the sunset side for a few minutes before we left without being ejected. But it wasn't the experience we expected from the reviews and website. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, but the initial greeting left me feeling somewhat unwelcome.
