This place was absolutely amazing! Our food was great. Drinks were great. It’s as if I’m eating a home cooked meal. Service and attentiveness was superb. Hands down my new FAVORITE go to! Cucumber margarita was delicious!

This is a local treasure. If you're looking for a family owned small business with authentic recipes, Tio Chilo's does not disappoint. In my opinion, best quesa-birria or birria Ramen in town. If you feel up to it, try the margarita flight, you won't regret it.

Regular carne asada burrito well balanced and absolutely delicious 😋 Burrito with pinto beans had very tender beef, well seasoned rice and just enough very fresh onion and cilantro Coming back

The Birra ramen was excellent, just not enough, and no tortillas with it. The salsa was too hot force, so I ordered freshly made guacamole, but it had more filler ingredients than avocado.

Incredible food, homemade, and family style. Feels like your at grandma's house. I asked about one of the fruit drink, right away the lady gave a simple to try. You will see the youngest and the oldest of the family making sure that you have a great experience. I will go out of my way to eat there again.

Tio's is my favorite spot for hearty Mexican chicken soup. Lisa (the owner, I think) is friendly, welcoming, and an absolute delight. I not only enjoy having a meal there, I always get soup to go too!

It’s tough to find a place that does delicious Mexican food, let alone birria dishes, and killer drinks too. Do yourself a favor and put this on your list. The Margharitas aren’t too sweet and so refreshing. Will be back with the fam for sure.

Cant believe I waited so long long to try Tio Chilo’s! The chile relleno burrito was delicious and the salsa was perfectly spicy. Everyone that works there is incredible kind, and I can’t wait to come back and try the mango aquachile.

Went on a thursday lunch break. Got the birria (goat) plate, comes with tortillas, rice and beans, chips and salsa. I also ordered the consome soup, side-dish; amazing, divine, my mouth waters in recollection, the best I've ever had. Cheaper then the taquerias on 24th st too.

I go to Tio’s for brunch a lot and everything tastes amazing. Coffee is endless and the portions are super generous and are very inexpensive. Atmosphere is very chill and welcoming. Highly highly recommend

At Tio's you're family. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The service, warm and friendly. Great place to kick back take it slow and enjoy some football over a margarita or chileda. Just a gem in the mission.

This place deserves more patrons. I got a steak quesadilla, and it was perfect. The portions were great, and I was able to have the other half of my meal for dinner the following day. I can’t wait to return to Tio Chilo’s and try the crab enchiladas.

I had the Lamb Shank, served with refried beans and rice with plenty of tortillas. The Quesabirria was cheese and served with broth that needed to be a bit hotter. Both were flavorful and served on time. The place is very clean and the bathroom is spotless. Great attentive service all around.
