Tip: Customize your drink with your choice of flavors and sweetness level. Start with light sweetness (50%) or even 25% as it can be very sugary.

I love tpumps! It's so nostalgic to me and the boba is one of the best imo! The boba is cooked so perfectly with the right amount of chewiness and it's coated thoroughly with the right amount of sweetness. I do find their drinks to be a bit at times, but the employees are so kind and friendly and always willing to remake drinks and offer suggestions if you don't like it, despite them being tremendously busy at times! Another thing I love about tpumps is their price!!! It's so so affordable and makes me less guilty to spend money on boba. Even after all these years they continue to promote tpumps tues with a free cup upsize on tues. I really appreciate that they didn't change the interior much after all these years, and allow customers to leave mssgs or little notes on their walls. It makes the place so comfy and nostalgic. Tpumps employees are always so friendly and they seem very fun as well! Since it's located on irving, parking can be kinda tough sometimes, but tpumps is my go to sweet treat!
These folk make an interesting drink which is somewhere between a smoothie and boba milk tea. I got a pomegranate black tea with boba and it was an interesting mixture of textures and tastes, but I was quickly into it. I’d definitely come back again. Their default milk is dairy-free. Drinks were also relatively cheap, for SF prices. On Tuesdays, you can get a large for the price of a medium. The store is a bit drab and dark. It takes minimalism a degree or two too far, but they sometimes have free tea samples!
Fully customizable boba offers thousands of unique flavor combinations. You can pick your own 3 flavors, sweetness level, and add-ons. Definitely a great place to stop by for bubble tea.
Tons of options, $3.75 for their standard size that includes boba and multiple flavors. I got the Light level of sweetness (50% sweetness) and I still found it too sugary. Will try the 25% next time. Still a great dessert drink though! They have a $2 daily special ready to go in the fridge. It’s a flavored tea but without boba.
When you visit San Francisco you got to try boba iced tea. This place if a local favorite. They have two sizes and I recommend no more than 3 flavors.
Fast service but long lines at night. I love how you can combine 3 flavors together! Lots of interesting flavors that I haven't seen at other places. I would recommend light sweetness. Peach mango lychee was great! Their Fourth of July special was a large for the price of a small.
I used to go to Tpumps almost everyday when I was in high school, it was located just a few blocks up. Had a hard time at the beginning, especially with the "bubba", but then I fell in love with it. My order was : STRAWBERRY, MANGO, MARSHMALLOW ICED BLACK TEA WITH MILK AND VERY SWEET. Deliciousss! Back then, there was always a longgggg line to wait for us to come in, but defenitely worth it. Can't wait to go back!

Got the popular item. The rose vanilla one and it was delicious. Traveled one hour to get this 😋
While I would never personally step foot in this establishment, it is addmittidley the most punk rock Boba Tea place I've ever seen
i have to give them a 5 considering i go almost every single day and they are literally so locked in every time. my order is ready in like less than 5 mins every time, even on tpumps tuesday. they run this place like a ship and i applaud them every time.
This place is always full of young people happily drinking their sugary treats. I like coming here because it makes me feel part of this community, and I always leave this business feeling energized. The staff is friendly; they will help you order and customize your drink to your liking.
Solid experience. Can tailor sweetness, milk choice, toppings. Their white raspberry milk tea was interesting. Will be back!
Walked into a room full of wonderful smells. There's a lot of options for drinks (can customize your drink) for a reasonable price. The line was long but my drink was quickly made.
Lines are long.. cheaper than most bubble tea with 3.50 for a cup (which is large size in share tea) Tea was good and honey boba as well :)

This Tpumps is like most other Tpumps I've been to on the Peninsula. Fast service, low prices, good value, flavorful boba, fine drink. This location is different from others because they have some places you can actually sit. It's bigger than the Burlingame or Foster City locations. My one wish is that this wasn't the only Tpumps in San Francisco. It's so far from downtown! That's not a complaint, though. Overall, 4/5.

Got a free size upgrade for only $3.50, that's an awesome deal. Was in the area for pho so stopped by after. Didn't get the customized teas, my sisters did and I just ordered a honey gt and taste-wise was not bad, can't go wrong with this. The lower rating was the amount of tapioca and tea ratio, on the low side, but guess can't complain considering the cost.
Not my style of milk tea. If you love adding flavors this is your spot. I don't and prefer plain milk tea with boba so this place was not as exciting.

Menu is little of complicated if u r first timer. But u have many flavour options but when I got my coconut flavour it was just water and sugar and boba in it. I didn’t enjoy just was thirsty and it just quenched it. They also made the same flavour twice when we didn’t wanted it but if u want sugar water then this place is good.
I visited here on a Tuesday night— (Free Upgrades all day on Tuesday!) TPumps seem to be always busy, and the employees here work very hard and are efficient. I was impressed to see the vast selection of different flavor combinations and availability on the menu board. However, I noticed that TPumps use Torani Syrup to flavor their teas. I personally think by adding this artificial syrup to the teas, it really diminishes the overall quality of the drink. I appreciate when Boba and Tea shops use purees, juices, and authentic ingredients in their craftsmanship; versus just using a standard artificial sugar syrup. The Boba itself was good! The texture was nice and chewy and the flavor had just the right amount of sweetness.

Super super sweet, tastes like straight syrup ): I do appreciate the options they want to give but this boba was not my favorite.

Extremely poor service, ordered barley bubble tea, was told they can’t make it hot, only after I asked why, then they said they only have warm. Extremely careless, didn’t even bother to ask if warm is ok with me. Then I got the warm, it turned out to be boiling hot. Do they even know what they sell?
Came in around 20 minutes before closing, I can understand staff wants to end the night quickly but the lady who took my order was so incredibly rude to me and my friends. I knew what I wanted, but wasn’t sure how to word It properly. She made me feel so stupid and she was really condescending. I ended up changing what I wanted because I felt so embarrassed. I asked for a black honey milk tea boba and she responded in the rudest way “don’t you mean honey black milk tea”. She made weird faces at me while I finished ordering and it’s experiences like this that don’t make me want to come back.
