A cocktails menu that hits a happy note to everyone. From fun fruity notes like the Mango Habanero 🥭 Margarita, to spirit forward Rum neurons, with cacoa infused Campari like the Forbidden Love. Food... shareable plates to keep the mix and mingle going from Drunken Mussels, Crude Cups, to main dishes that will leave you satisfied. I love the Short Rib, Pollo Al Madero, and Chino Latino Salad with Grilled Salmon. A great please with good vibes, great bartenders, and tasty food that won't break the bank
Delicious food and cute atmosphere. Service was a little slow as it seemed like a 3-man show running the entire restaurant, although they were clearly working very hard to keep everything moving. The servers were very friendly, didn’t make us feel rushed, provided great recommendations, and were kind enough to turn on the outdoor heaters upon request. We ate so much, we practically waddled back home. We will definitely eat here again!
We had prefix menu and were able to sample plenty from their deliciously unique menu. The chilled asparagus with egg grabichi really surprised me, it was well presented and had an interesting flavor profile. My partner loved his Pittsburgh salad and ate every last bit. His burger and fries was well executed but my spinach gnudi w/ pesto was unlike anything I've had - creamy, cheesy, savory, yet not too heavy. And we loved our homemade key lime pie, particularly the crumbly crust and real whipped cream. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant (which was quite busy for a Monday night) so service was a bit slow, but she seemed to have everything under control and was friendly when she interacted with us. I loved the plants that hung above the swanky bar - this is a great place to bring a date.
This is a very nice restaurant. I came here with a large group of people and enjoyed eating there. The restaurant was quite fancy and the food was excellent. The service was fairly friendly and the overall ambiance was excellent. I highly recommended this place and make sure you get a reservation here. I give them 5 stars ⭐️
We came here on a happy hour (5-6pm). Ordered a market salad, old fashioned, and a fruitier tequila drink off the happy hour menu first. Cocktails were $8 during happy hour (normally $14). For the main dishes, we got the tavern burger and the handkerchief pasta. Both were made very well and delicious to eat. Service was good and quality was good, but going during happy hour certainly helps the wallet.
We had dinner with my partner at Violet’s. We started with two cocktails and a sparkling water. We ordered the Tavern Burger and the Mac&Cheese. Everything was really good and the dishes were huge.
This restaurant is opened by the same people that started Fiorella's. The food is great, staff are friendly and attentive, lively atmosphere. The noise level is medium, you do have to raise your voice at bit to have conversation. I recommend going with a few friends and sharing plates.
Stopped by before a show and sat at the bar for some cocktails & fries. The drinks were delicious and the restaurant has a great ambience, though it was very cozy inside. They also offer outdoor seating. I’d love to come back for a full meal.
Great new restaurant in The Richmond for late night drinks and food. Really enjoyed finding this on the quieter end of Clement. We got lucky without a reservation this time, but the place was busy throughout the evening. The wings (no pic) were tender and really tasty, highly recommend them along with everything else we had. Staff were amazing, strongly recommend you take all of their dish/drinks tips!
Violets was amazing 🤩 splendid environment and ambience the drinks were divine. Especially the one with sage in it. The staff were very kind and attentive and the music and plants were a nice touch. Thank you violets:)✌🏼

The food, bar, and service at this new space in the Richmond were all excellent. Loved the signature cocktail (pictured), and can't wait to come back for another awesome steak. The polenta was great too!
This is my go to spot in the Richmond. If I want a chill neighborhood place to get a great cocktail and a bite this is the place. Sit at the bar, watch a game and have a drink and a snack. (Old Bay chips and onion dip!) Or take a date and have a proper intimate evening. Wine, beer, cocktails, they have all of that tough guy! Try the fried chicken or mussels. The Deviled eggs are something else. I can also hear myself think there. Not too noisy. The staff is nothing but friendly and welcoming. A real neighborhood gem of a place. Highly recommend.

The apps hit, deviled eggs & fried chicken, my main (tacos) were not the best, there are tacos on every street corner in California, these were edible but that's about it. The others enjoyed their mains.
Great restaurant in the outer Richmond / Richmond area. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food was pretty damn good too. We started with the Al Pastor Skewers and the slushee. Not usually a fan of al pastor or even a slushee, but both were good. For my main, I had the cheeseburger, which was also good — exactly the burger I wanted — nothing too pretentious and overly made up. My sig other ordered the grilled salmon — good for him, but the sauce was a little too spicy for him (fine for me). We wrapped with the chocolate chip cookie and was sooooo happy with it. If you’re looking for not a fussy meal, check out this place.
They have outdoor dining that fills up pretty quickly so get here early! The wings were a good appetizer, cooked just right. My friend really enjoyed his meatloaf while my fried chicken was super juicy and breaded lightly. The service was also quick and friendly. My only complaint is that the cocktails were super tiny and even so, were not filled up all the way. I felt bad but I should have sent back two of the cocktails we got since they were barely half full (already tiny glass).
Cozy spot despite the incoming evening wind; Oysters Rockefeller, fried chicken, key lime pie, bourbon & gin cocktails, extremely affordable, excellent staff.

The cocktails were unique, memorable, and tasty! Definitely worth going back for. Unfortunately, the kitchen was backed up so service was slow and we paid $10 for a chocolate chip cookie that was stale and barely heated up. Tasted as if it was put under a heat lamp for two minutes and then served… sadly, the bottom of the cookie was still chilled. Was disappointed by the quality of food.
They've succeeded in making a hip bar/restaurant in the Outer Richmond, but the service is lacking, the food is overpriced, and it's really cramped. We showed up on time for a 7:30 reservation and were in line to check in. Just as we were about to check in, a woman pushed past us and asked to be seated. The host stand is in a really unfortunate place, so perhaps she didn't notice that we were standing in line. We were seated right after, so it didn't seem like a big deal. BUT... after being seated, it took another 15-20 minutes for us to even be greeted by a waiter. It was so long, in fact, that the woman who'd cut us in line had already received appetizers by the time someone took our drink order. I had to get up and talk to the manager to get anyone's attention. The place is also really small, and it definitely feels like they packed in at least one too many tables. I'd suggest that they need another waiter for that many tables, but there's really no room. It's also loud. Granted, the loud, packed feel contributes to the "hip" feel of the place, but don't expect to be able to have an intimate conversation here. The food was fairly good. Oysters seemed fresh and well selected. Had an Impossible Burger (really glad they have this option, actually!) and shared a salad. For a half dozen oysters, one salad, two burgers, and no drinks: $90 after tax and tip. Not insane for SF, but definitely overpriced.

The food is lovely and I’ve been going to their other location Fiorella often. However I am not impressed by the way I was treated. I was having a beer and salad at the bar, when my plate was cleared I was duly handed the check, which I did not request. I was barely halfway into my beer. I realize that they are busy but I honestly felt I had to leave or make a scene and then what? The only options are to pay and go or drink another beer after you have complained. I left, I really hope this gets addressed, it’s a nice place.

came here for drinks last night after dinner nearby. female bartender was super sweet and recommended us some great drinks. male bartender seemed to be somewhat impaired. he was making a drink in front of us when he suddenly slammed down a bottle and seemingly got quite angry making remarks to the female bartender, which was very off putting. he continued to kind of bump around the bar for the rest of our time there, walking into corners and almost knocking bottles off the bar. the drinks were great and the overall vibes were good but was quite uncomfortable around the male bartender.
I feel bad leaving a "bad" review, as I have not done this before, but I did not have an enjoyable experience here, unfortunately. To start, the waitress was not friendly and did not check in with me while I was there. I understand it was busy, and she may have been having a bad day. But the only time she checked in, she asked, "Do you need something?" as I was waiting to order another drink and simply looking in her direction. I felt rushed to leave. I had also ordered some food. The fries were crispy-looking and very over-oiled. I shouldn't have eaten them, as I ended up getting sick at 1 AM. Someone I also shared them with felt ill as well. And upon checking my receipt after leaving, I realized I was charged for a more expensive drink I didn't end up getting because they were out. Sigh. I really wanted to love it here, but I won't be back anytime soon :(
