A wholesome variety of tasty veg and meat without breaking the bank. They're large portions unless you're really hungry. The Pork Shoulder Mixed Bowl is my favorite - who knew millet could be this good?

My husband and I love Ben’s Fast Food. The roast chicken is to die for. We’ve ordered it like 5 or 6 times, and it stays delicious! Big fan, definitely give it a try when you’re looking for healthy options.

Best value for flavor and quality in the Bay! Their pork shoulder is better than almost all Of the bbq joints around! Love the chocolate pudding too.

I always order from here online. The food is healthy, tasty and the price is very reasonable. Vegetarian options available. They only have delivery or pick up available and is part of Ruff food pickup where many restaurants with various cuisines operate under one roof.

Me and the coworkers are obsessed with this place. We order here for a team lunch at least once a week. Food you don't feel guilty about eating, yummy sauces, and a speedy delivery! Couldn't ask for more. ...maybe just the recipe for the chipotle sauce lol

This is a delivery super kitchen according to my niece. We didn't know that and just wanted healthy fast food before starting a long drive. Pick up was VERY fast. We ordered from the parking lot on my phone and it was ready in 10 minutes. The system for pick up was awkward but we got the food and it was delicious and fresh! I would have done it on the way back too but the young people wanted junky fast food.

Can easily parrot what the other reviews have said, ive gotten both the chicken mixed bowls and pork shoulder mixed bowls and they were both delicious. Bang for buck it had amazing value, very healthy and definitely satisfied my craving. As long as the price and portion stays consistent, will be going all the time! Great gem of a place (:

They expect you to be omniscient. The employees don't explain anything to you. You have to come read their minds. They didn't tell me that my drink was in my order that was sealed. I asked for help, and the employee saw him, and he totally ignored me. I was loud. They could definitely hear me in the kitchen, but ALL unanimously decided to ignore everyone because they could. I get it. The store is designed for no human contact. Some employees are not social at all and possibly anti-social and introverts. But that's not a good excuse for ignoring people. Forget about empathy for the customer. Everything is digital. You scan your screen, and the locker opens with your food. They don't want to help you. Forget about being kind. It's all about turning into a robot with total apathy instead of empathy. I really do NOT want to come here again. They get 5 stars because I can empathize with the introvert employees. They're the ones that need to empathize with us ambiverts and extroverts, though. All of us: Be mindful. Spread kindness. Spread love.

My wife and I are giving Ben's Fast Food 5 Bright Stars! We ordered last night and had a wonderful meal delivered right to our door within 25 minutes from ordering. I had the chicken bowl, which had both amazing flavor and aesthetics. The food bowl totally FILLED me up!! And the price was very reasonable. Really outstanding food at the right price! We will be ordering again and again.

I ordered the chickpea and potato hearty bowl with lemon thyme sauce, ABSOLUTELY DELICOUS! I will be coming back and exploring the rest of their menu. Thank you for the fresh and delicious meal.

I wanted to take a picture of my very delicious and healthy meal, but I was so excited to eat that I forgot and finished my entire bowl. The food was quickly delivered, so no long wait which I loved. I first found this place on a day trip in SF but now it has arrived in San Jose, and I was so happy to try. Definitely a meal that I recommend everyone to try. Very filling and healthy. The green smoothie is a great addition to my bowl, very refreshing!

I am very impressed with their food offerings. They align with my plant based diet via medical medium Anthony William. The food tasted organic, FRESH, delicious and had great energy. The people preparing the food have great energy. The lemon thyme sauce was delicious! I absolutely love that they are dairy/sugar/gluten/soy free! That is rare in the Bay Area! They truly care about serving healthy, quality, nutritious food. The pricing is affordable. I appreciate the eco friendly packaging. I would choose this food over the whole foods buffet any day!! Highly recommend!!

Ordered take out for an easy dinner and I'll definitely order again. The waygu beef mixed bowl, green smoothie and roasted chickpea and potatoes were all delicious.The sauces were great additions! Pretty solid portions, overall 10/10.

I’m very grateful for this restaurant. Having a soy allergy makes it extremely difficult for me to eat out while traveling. Thanks to Ben’s Fast Food I have a staple restaurant when I’m in San Jose as they have a completely soy free menu. Honestly even if I didn’t have a soy allergy, I would eat here all the time because the food is SOOO GOOD! Additionally, I really admire their mission of providing healthy meals for low cost. We need more of Ben’s Fast Foods in this world. I can’t thank this restaurant enough!

I didn’t have that high of hopes, after all, their prices are dirt cheap for health food in the Bay Area. When the food arrived I was shocked. The box that the food comes in said “thank you Mandi”. Very cute touch. The food was INCREDIBLE! Most of the healthier options I’ve ordered from local restaurants are pretty bland. This has a lot of flavor and this is the only place that’s ever prepared broccoli in a way that I was happy to eat it. The place was so good I ordered it two nights in a row. And honestly just became my new go-to spot.

It felt like I was eating at a restaurant...The chicken literally tasted so flavorful and the rice/veggie mixture blended so well. The pickled red onions made the whole thing for me. Refreshing crunch but not overall tangy. Balanced the savory slow roasted chicken real well. The green smoothie hit different. I'm astounded there's no added sugar and the pineapple flavor mixed really well with true spinach. Finished it literally before I started eating bc it was so good. And the packaging was on point! The BFF stamped bag looked legit and definitely felt like a valued customer. I'll be ordering again for sure

Picked up order at ghost kitchen location in San Jose. The Chicken Mixed Bowl had so many ingredients but somehow was simply delicious! Wow. I really enjoyed this, and it was healthy for you to boot! Definitely recommend Ben's Fast Food choices. Service and Atmosphere are marked poor ONLY because it was self pick up from a ghost kitchen with no one there actually from Ben's and surrounded by Door Dash driver's in a location that didn't feel overall safe or nice.

The bowls taste really free I’m fresh, healthy, filling, and delicious! The veggies and rice are so good! Meat is well cooked and the portions are on the big side (which is great)!

We love this spot so much. We ordered a chicken hearty bowl and pork shoulder hearty bowl. They both were so delicious and full of flavor. We are definitely going to make this our go-to place for fast healthy food. 100% recommend

I’m not completely bilingual yet so that was a challenge because I didn’t know what to do until the 3rd guy who understood me and spoke English told me to use the order taker machine thing. He was super friendly though. Minus 1 star because in no way could I substitute the cauliflower and that would’ve been awesome but it’s a veggie nonetheless no big deal at all…

Ordered the chicken bowl with smoky chipotle sauce. Was very bland overall. Nothing special in terms of quantity of food, leaving on the small side, I didn't get much chicken honestly. Flavor was pretty bland. The sauce tasted more like vinegar than chipotle. While it does have a lot of veggies and grains (it's only feature), everything is in tiny pieces so the texture situation is pretty bland as well. Would not order again from here.

This is not an actual Ben’s Fast Food location. It is a hub spot for various restaurants that can be ordered and picked up here. Some important information to know before selecting to order from this specific Ben’s: When you walk in there are 3 kiosks to input your order. The kiosks are only in Spanish so if you’re like me who doesn’t speak Spanish, you’ll need to make an online order at “ruff”. Additionally, the food is placed into lockers and when your order is ready, you’ll receive a notification to come pick it up. This location had a lot of rules about not leaving children there as if it’s a daycare, no special assistance or “hookups” for those coming in frequently. It’s honestly a little low-class and shows the kind of people who frequent there. I’d say you’re better off going to another Ben’s that’s actually a store front restaurant because Ben’s Fast Food is great quality, plant based & vegan. The food is delicious!

The food is good, but make sure to double-check your order. I ordered directly from them and paid for extra chicken, but when I got back to the hotel, there was none. Like you, I was excited by the positive reviews for a healthy food spot. Unfortunately, this place was a letdown because they simply couldn’t double-check the order.

Unfortunately the meat wasnt very fresh it was on the salty side too. For healthy the chopped veggies base is good and seems fresh. But if its supposed to be healthy the protein should be cooked with light oil or healthy oil and cooked fresh.
