First time eating here. The atmosphere is really nice. Beautiful bar and Jonsey was the best bartender. I ordered the pasta and shrimp and it was delicious. My husband got the scallops and was disappointed they were super small but he said the sauce was delicious. I took half of the pasta home and poured the rest of his sauce on it. Ate it the next day and that was even better. Great restaraunt and I’m sure the steaks are great. Definitely recommend.

Talk about an awesome find! The drinks and food, amazing. The vibe, super chill. Can’t stress enough on how great the service was. The steak was cooked to perfection. Probably one of the tastiest steaks I’ve had. Cody’s was such an awesome spot. Try the drinks!!! They’re really good. Fresh, hits the spot.

What a wonderful restaurant tucked into the Southside of San Marcos near the outlet malls. Our server, Mikey, was so kind and attentive and all of our food was amazing. We started with the SHOKUPAN (JAPANESE MILK BREAD) and the bread was superb. We also enjoyed the COCONUT PANKO FRIED SHRIMP. (Please see photos of all foods mentioned in review.) For our entrees, Robert ordered the BEEF WELLINGTON and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the NEW BEDFORD SEA SCALLOPS with candied bacon and jalapeños, and ya'll, it blew me away. It was so delicious! We both ordered the Creme Brulee for dessert and it was outstanding! Robert and I truly love finding hidden gems, and Cody's Restaurant and Patio is our new fav!!

We had a wonderful experience at Cody's, I had the blue cheese salad wedge and the Beef Wellington. The salad was perfect for a blue cheese lover, and I've always wanted to try the Beef Wellington, which delivered superb flavor and texture. The chocolate cake was very light!

My friend and I started a new holiday tradition this year! We went to Cody's for dinner last night. We had a 5:30 reservation and were quickly seated. It was fairly empty when we got there, but got busier as the night went on. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine, $10 off during happy hour, burrata and milk bread as an appetizer. So good!!! For our meal, we had the pork chop and flat iron steak and brussel sprouts. The steak was cooked perfectly. The brussel sprouts were delicious!!! For dessert we had the carrot cheesecake. Everything was so good! We would definitely go back!

Cody's just blows my mind every time we go. Beef Wellington, Halibut with lime risotto, Casio e Pepe with Shrimp. Japanese Milk Bread with garlic butter. Creme brulee! And an amazing wine/cocktail menu too! Never disappointed. Bring friends, family and business associates. This is one local spot we need to keep in business!

We had our son’s and daughter in law’s rehearsal dinner on the patio over the weekend. The owner, John, was great to work with. The wait staff took amazing care of all of our guests. Every need was met and the food was great! Thank you for taking such great care for our family’s special event.

We were looking for a place to eat that was different from what we could get in our home town of Houston. We found Cody’s due to reviews. This place doesn’t disappoint! The interior is intimate with low lighting. Each table has a real flame candle. Classy. It’s the perfect place for sharing a bottle of wine and having a quiet meal. The walls are lined with murals of famous musicians. Our server was great. She provided input on their best dishes. I wish I remembered her name. 7/3/2024 at 9:05 PM. She has long hair and is very friendly. She did a great job. We started with the wedge salad. It’s large enough to split. The bacon was so good. Very crisp and flavorful. I had the lobster ravioli for my meal. It was delicious! The sauces drizzled on the ravioli tasted like a butternut squash base. You may not think those items would pair well, but it was perfect. The dish looks small, but it was filling. The gentleman had the pork chop. It is a bone-in chop on a bed of mash potatoes. The portion is large. I am not a pork chop person, but I was very impressed. The bacon jam was great, potatoes were creamy, and the chop itself was very tender. I highly recommend both of these. I included a picture of the menu. We only found the lunch menu on Google. You need to do dinner here! Cody’s has been open for 12 years. They will be around for a long time, I’m sure. Very, very pleased with our experience.

I recently visited Cody's Restaurant in San Marcos, TX, for the first time and had an excellent experience. The service was phenomenal, and sitting at the bar, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked burger that truly exceeded my expectations with its finesse. The decor is great, adding to the overall ambiance, and the staff were consistently attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for a quality dining experience.

We just happened upon this fabulous place in San Marcos. We were looking for a quick place to eat before golf. The atmosphere is great, the food is fantastic and the drinks were spectacular! We liked it so much, we went back after golf and tried 4 different appetizers and several different drinks on the menu! It was so much fun!! Great place for couples.

We happened upon this place after running errands and oh my Goodness is it delicious! We had my 7 month old daughter with us and the wait staff went CRAZY for her! The atmosphere is chic and cozy, the libations are well crafted and flavorful. We recommend trying The Kissing Tree and Sean Connery. The Champagne Green Salad with chicken was so yummy! My partner got the B.L.A.T and added a fried egg and that put the sandwich over the top! Dessert, which ended up stealing the show, was a carrot Cheesecake topped with caramel and bacon and it was So scrumptious and not overly sweet! It combined our two favorite cakes into one MEGA tasty treat! If you're near the Outlets and need a bite, cross the Highway and enjoy this amazing spot!

Food was great but I had to check with the waiter on my drinks and sadly he forgot to put them in. Then later he once again forgot to put a side that I ordered in. It feels like a great and classy restaurant with delicious food but those slip ups really ruined the mood.
