The food was delicious! They had a variety of options, and even some vegetarian friendly ones. The green salsa packed a punch of flavor, without crazy heat, which many other places can't seem to do. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Super cute cafe that fills up fast! Service was fast and the food was excellent. We stopped in for breakfast before heading to the cruise port and if we lived locally, this would definitely be a "go to" spot.

I don't normally put reviews, but I had share how much I enjoyed my overall experience with this place. I got the California Omelet and my boyfriend got the Breakfast Burritto. They both came your choice of breakfast potatoes, hashbrowns, or fruit. The omelete came with toast and the burrito came with refried beans. They seemed busy but the staff was friendly. Good service overall. The price was reasonable. Delicious food with fresh ingredients. We will definitely be back!

The food is good, would come back to eat here. Stuffed French toast and the California omelette is what We had. I tried their hazelnut latte very foamy I ordered it extra hot so it came perfect I re commend hotter our second one was just warm. Potatoes were good and service was great 😊 ☕️ 🍳

This is a great little breakfast and lunch spot! It was highly recommended by the hotel Concierge! It’s a cute little spot. They were super welcoming And overly friendly! I got the Mexican coffee and it was superb! The breakfast burrito was amazing. The avocado was super fresh and creamy! The portions were very generous! You will be quite full with what ever you order! It was spectacular!

I liked this place quite a bit more than I expected to. The French Toast, whille not exactly French Toast, was interesting and tasty. The pancakes were huge and delicious! Definitely get the real maple syrup to go with them, it will do them justice. Bacon was nearly perfect, eggs were cooked well to order... Add in the fresh juice and decent coffee and this place really adds up the stars. Service was friendly and fast.

I loved my Huevos Rancheros from this cafe! Perfect oavocado, eggs, cheese and beans. I checked the review before going to San Pedro and I kept bugging Hubby that I wanted to try this cafe. So here we are! Surprise surprise! The place is fantastic, with great breakfast selections. The French toast uses a different type of bread, a healthier bread. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious! The coffee was good too. It's a cute little place with perfect decorations! Two thumbs up!

Enjoy an early breakfast😋. I found this place as a recommendation in Google maps. Small family business but I gotta say that food was good and the portions were right. I ordered oatmeal, Breakfast burrito and cinnamon French toast. Parking was a little tough but gotta say it was manageable.

Best breakfast in two years ! I visited CSULB with my son last week and we stayed at the DoubleTree. We wanted a breakfast place we could walk to. What a pleasant surprise. The food is amazing and the portions more than generous. I had the Chiliquilles with fruit and my son a Denver Omellette with potatoes. We couldn't finish and enjoyed leftovers the next day. The service is impeccable and the restaurant cute. I would definitely recommend this place !!

Rex's cafe is a cozy neighborhood diner. We stumbled over it by accident but was pleasantly surprised. The portions are large. The chicken tortilla soup was very hearty and filling. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the portion size.

The people were nice, yes, & their food was great. I did indeed enjoy my meal & I will more likely return.

I live in the area forever & never heard of or been to this place. It’s definitely well hidden. If no one introduces you to this little Mexican restaurant, you may never know about it. You would literally drive by & not see it. It is a very small, cramped place, with absolutely no parking, but the food is delicious. Their hash brown was the best I’ve eaten. Very fluffy, not flat. I like their variety of tea collection, since I am more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker. A cup of tea was expensive -WOW-. $5 for a cup of tea.
