Great poke place. I typically have high standards for poke, and I like this place.

Good place for a good meal at a reasonable price. A lot cheaper then sushi but a lot of the same ingredients. It's basically a Chipotle style of ordering...work through the line and add what you want.

The fish was fresh, and portion size was considerably larger than what I'm used to from northern California. Definitely a good stop.

New go to spot in SA. Rosie was very kind to me and my friends. I would recommend highly.

I wish that I lived closer to this Poke/Poki restaurant. I would be here for lunch or dinner at least weekly. I have seen reviews that say that this place is a bit pricey, but I believe that the value far exceeds the price. I have been to other Poke restaurants with lower and higher prices. NONE of them have better Quality. I always look forward to stopping in at Poki One N Half when I’m in the neighborhood.

I get this place delivered a few times a month, been eating here a few years. Tastes amazing! Prices are meh. They've only gotten my order wrong once or twice and it's been years, so that's also great.

Consistently excellent sushi for the poke bowls. They have become a weekly-ish stop for take out. Salmon, Tuna and Albacore are always good. Can't wait till they get masago back on the menu.

Best Poki Bowl ever!!! Friendly, welcoming staff. This was my first time going to a ‘Poki One N Half’ and the staff was very helpful and patient with my excitement of trying to pick what I wanted in my bowl. I haven’t seen a Poki Bowl place where you can see them make the bowl in front of you as you chose what you want. So cool and so many options! The Poki is fresh and the options are perfect. 😋 I live in LA and encouraged them to PLEASE set up shop in DTLA! LOL! I’m addicted and can’t wait to return. There’s also free parking. 10 stars for me!

First time here, and I'd say this is the best poki place I've been to. Even compared to Pokinimetry in Anaheim. Fresh and high quality proteins. They offer a poki burrito, which is a great spin on a poki place. The sauces you choose for your poki they also give you a cup on the side of. The sauces that I had (spicy mayo and spicy poki sauce) were very tasty. Very fair prices! Super friendly staff as well, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Clean, well-organized business with two main options: ramen and Poke. If you're looking for a quick stop for lunch or dinner, this is a great place to try. A plus: The poke bowls are as priced at the beginning. The "add ons" like avocado, etc. are included in the price of your poke bowl. The ramen options are great, too. Pricing could be a little better on the ramen, but it's certainly quality and now available to-go. Add beer, soda, or another Asian specialty drink to your order for a refreshing complement to your meal.

The food is always fresh, love that there is different variety in make your poki. It's awesome that they have ramen, which most poki places do not. It's always lively, so be expected for there to be a line. Luckily the the wait is not long.

Best place To eat poke. The fish is always fresh, the place is clean, music is nice. the manager is very nice even on a break he never leaves you waiting and come to serve you. I come here often and totally recommand the place

This facility is in excellent condition. The staff is super friendly. Especially a young manager named Kate. This young lady was very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending food orders. The customer service I received was desirable and warm and welcoming. Looking forward to future visits. The food quality itself was amazing as well. All ingredients were fresh and kept well refrigerated. The options between brown rice quinoa and regular rice fit my everyday need for consumption of low calories. Not to mention the flavors were very attractive. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try something new and or a great experience with a good fresh poke Bowl.

I stopped at Sushi Kuchi on my way home after a long evening of being stranded with a flat tire. When I stepped through the door, I felt like the red carpet was rolled out for me. The owner/manager greeted me. I ordered my food to go, and was offered a seat at the bar and a drink while I waited. The sushi chefs looked like they enjoyed their job and were happy to be there. They asked how my day went and I told them about the tire. The owner/manager overheard and gave me a special gift to make my day better. The server was attentive. The sushi was fresh and really really hit the spot, and I will cherish the gift I recieved there. I might be moving to Pasadena soon, but if I don't, I will be a very loyal customer.

My favorite poke spot. I love that they don't charge extra for avocado. All the ingredients taste so fresh and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean

Randomly went here for an earlier dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The food and the service were both excellent. Staff was super nice and attentive. Def recommend for your next sushi night.

Es la primera vez que vuelvo tras el cambio de nombre de Poki One N Half a Sushi Kuchi. No solo renovaron el interior, sino que también mejoraron la calidad de la comida. El pescado estaba fresquísimo y todo lo que pedimos estaba ¡delicioso! Para quienes tengan alguna duda, sí, el poke bowl sigue disponible en su menú. El personal y el servicio son muy amables. ¡Sin duda volvería!

I got their veggie roll and vegetable tempura. Both were good, veggie roll could have been a little more fresh and veg rolls could be a bit more creative. They were very accommodating w dietary restrictions/subs, and I was able to pick up my order right on time. Want to try more on their menu!

The prices for their Poki bowl (based on scoop of fish) is a little on the pricier side, but still good. My husband ordered the ramen which was nice having something other than Poki. Large portion size ramen and crisp-tasty meat. Both were above decent if you're looking for something quick and low key. Restaurant was very clean and well decorated.

My go to spot for poki so far, first place I tried it was here. Been to other spots before but this one is good! Though portions could be bigger but I like the atmosphere. If your by Mainplace I recommend checking it out. Fresh fish and ingredients.

Poke anyone? This was my first time trying @pokionenhalf even though I have seen it many times whenever I’m at @mothersmarket Santa Ana. It’s a “build your own poke” bowl place with many options to pick from. I’m sure Sean gets asked all day how to order and explain about the toppings at no extra charge. He was very patient with customers, myself included. With a regular size, you get a choice of 3. I chose Octopus, Tuna and Salmon. Next time, I would pick just 2. The octopus was firm and thinly sliced. I would have liked a little more in my bowl though. The tuna and salmon were diced a good size. I would have liked for them to be a little firmer in texture. When I got the bowl, they are buried under the toppings so I had to dig in and rearrange for a good picture lol When building the bowl, I would have liked the fish on the top and not buried under all the toppings. Better for pictures. They should be the star of the bowl, right? Of course, that’s my preference since I’m the one in the group that looks forward to taking pictures of the food lol Most popular sauce: original Poki. Worked well and tasted great. My toppings: green onions, carrots, cucumbers, edamame, cilantro, avocado, seaweed salad, sweet corn and seaweed flakes. I liked the freshness of it all. Mixed well with the brown rice. It’s nice that there’s no extra charge for avocado. My favorite toppings were the avocado, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad and seaweed flakes. The bowls are a bit pricey. Overall experience was good though.

I gave them a 4 star cause they need to work on welcoming the customers I just walked in at this location because I go to other ones but today I was really craving it . So I came in and I said were do I order and they said at the table?? And I’m like what is that so I had to figure it out myself do these people expect that we should know?? That was a waste of my time anywho you grab a paper and u start filling up how you want to build your bowl , then they make it charge you and not even a goodbye or have a good day unbelievable but true. But overall the food was good and they put everything in your bag neatly.

This place was pretty good. I wanted to check it out since it's fairly new. I really liked it and the staff was very friendly, but nothing in particular made it stand out above the rest. Everything tasted pretty fresh so if you live close by and like Poki, definitely give it a shot. If you live further away, you'll get the same thing at a similar restaurant closer to you.

The food was really good, and the employee who helped me was friendly and quick. The price was a little more than I expected compared to other poke places, so I wish it was just a little bit cheaper - but they do offer protein options that other places don't, so it's worth keeping as an option.

Fresh ingredients, clean facility with friendly staff. Fish was okay, I got spicy tuna and scallops. I think I mangled my flavours to much, next time I'll go easy on my sauces choice.

The food and service is great! Everything is very clean and the environment is welcoming. The only thing I will say is that the food can be a little pricey. Other than that, everything is great!

Unfortunately I stopped by hear to check this poki place out before paying. Since most of the poki place I have been trying are more hype and not any good. Sorry but this location did not come through. I have to give them a pat on the back for at least offering 5 proteins but for the price you should be able to get a bigger bowl and offer better customer service. The location is nice. Located right next to an amazing mother's market but I rather eat next door at mothers. They need to offer bigger portions her in an actual bowl. Or have some Better customer service. Fish did not look to fresh. Maybe next time.

Nice place with stylish seating and decor. The poke was pretty good too. The only thing that was lacking was the service. The girl seemed to not be a huge fan of her job. Or perhaps there was something about me that she was not fond of. She was very rushed even though the place was empty and anytime I asked her about items on the menu she frustratedly pointed to the menu on the wall behind her as if it was an unnecessary annoyance for me to ask.

The food is great usually, customer service is so so, inconvenient that you cannot order their ramen online and when you call to ask if they can place a pick up order, you can only do it online but they don't even have what you want to order on their website.. Asked the associate to just let their manager know about this and if they could possibly add it online and all she responds with is "sorry, we cannot." Why serve something if you cannot even order it besides in store. Used to come here a lot more but their services have just been going down hill.

Fresh and delicious food. They always suffer from short staffing. They only ever have 2 people working so if there is a huge order before yours, good luck! ✌🏽

Clean place and excellent customer service, I just think that the fish portions are small, they use a tiny scooper to serve. I have been to other poki places that their fish portion is bigger.

Came in around early afternoon and was seated promptly. My sister and I enjoyed the food— great quality and reflective of price. However, the waitress came to check up on us several times while I still had food in my mouth, which was bit inconvenient. It was a bit frustrating to look around and not having napkins except for the napkins we had on the table. Wish there was better ambience as well.

I love the food that Poke One N Half serves. The flavors are amazing and I like being able to customize my order. The only issue I have is that the order preparation can be a bit slow. So if you're in a hurry, better just order online.

The food is good. However, they were out of white rice this time. At a poke restaurant. What? They probably could have made more. I'm guessing they didn't want to clean the rice maker again. It was an hour before closing, so it's not like I went in last second.

Drove out of my way to try this poke place with it's good reviews however I was left dissapointed. I ordered the small bowl (2 proteins around $10 after tax) with tuna and salmon as my protein choices. On first impression, the avacado they offered was not very fresh. There was significant browning as it was scooped to my bowl and upon tasting it, it didn't taste as fresh as it should've. Additionally, one of the core components of any poke bowl is rice, but the rice served to me was undercooked as it was too hard and made eating my poke less of an enjoyable experience as it should have been. The fish was ok. The salmon was average and as expected, but for some reason a lot of the tuna I got was very sinewy and chewy instead of being more soft and easier to eat. However, I did enjoy the sauce they offered as I chose one of the spicy ones and that offered a nice flavor. Overall, I wasn't impressed with what I ordered. To me it was below average poke with the rice making a big impression. Maybe I came at an unfortunate time and it may not be representative of what they typically serve as a whole. If I do come back, hopefully it will be better in the future.

Not a fan of filling out my own order and handing it down. Less human interaction... Yayyyyyy! If I am gonna be doing your work, I don't expect to pay at least 17 bucks and change. Portion is good. Ridiculously pricey. I can do without such hipster food.

Okay, the food was decent. Price was a little high. Pay with cash....they pull the forced tip button on you when running a card. All for the privilege of standing in line and paying at the counter before you sit down....not cool when. The price is already on the steep side.

Fresh ingredients but they over sause the rice. They put all the sause in the rice so it's all soggy and you dont have any warm sticky white rice to complement your fish.. it just turns into an over sauced soggy mess

I think they should change their name to Two N Half because that's how their prices compare to most Poke places! At least double what I am used to paying. 2 Standard poke bowls with a 15% tip was over $42. A reminder to check prices before you order wherever you eat!

I didn't visit this place. I visited Doner, a very good Turkish Mediterranean restaurant. But I here Poki is alright. Personally, I'm grossed out by their food.

Charging a family $1 for a spoon and threatening them that they are going to jail for that is ridiculous 🤦🏽‍♀️ your food may be good but your costumer serves not so much

Pricy for poki for only 2 scoops. Ponzo sauce is pretty bland. The shrimp they put in my bowl was frozen solid. When I bit into it was like biting on ice. My teeth are sensitive so it ruined my entire meal. When I notified the staff they said they would give me a refund. The manager tried to give me unfrozen shrimp and a 20% off coupon. I said I won't be returning. No refund was offered.

While I'm a huge fan of Poke' Bowls and the entire fusion experience I have to say that I am both impressed and disappointed at this fine eatery. On June 11th, 2022 around 5:30 PM I ordered the "Large" Bowl with 1 Scoop of Salmon, 1 Scoop of Tuna, and 2 Scoops of Albacore. The workers did a great job of assembling and tossing the raw cubed fish with the ponzu and soy sauce that I requested. Then, they assembled the rest of the bowl with Ginger, Carrot, Seaweed, Masago, and dry seaweed with sesame seeds on top of a bed of white rice. The presentation was immaculate. The service was bright and accommodating. I took my order to go and got home about 15 minutes later. This was the ONLY food I had planned to consume today so I feasted upon my nearly $18 entry that I could have got from Poke'Ria or any other location for about 13-15 but I was happy with it.. or so I thought. I had finished nearly 80% of the bowl when it hit me, beneath the lemon ponzu and soy sauce a pungent and FOUL FISHY smell. Mind you, Poke and Sushi is regularly rinsed, then frozen and then thawed and served NOT smelling fishy. According to world-renowned sushi chef Hidekazu Tojo, "a good sushi restaurant should smell like cucumber or watermelon. Sushi with high-quality fish that has been flash-frozen and properly stored will not smell fishy". and who am I to doubt Sensei Hidekazu-Sama? Well, 4 hours later I was feeling the effects, gastrointestinal pain, stomach cramps, horrible heart burn and everything else that comes with it - I had to leave the theater where I was watching the new Jurassic World movie and get a refund. The next day, today, I called and let the pleasant lady-operator know what I had encountered and what I experienced after. She relayed it to her manager and then I was told: "Our sushi is enough to serve 70 people and none of them have complained. We won't be doing anything for you. If you have a problem you can call the headquarters." which is the average response from many managers who do not want to deal with "Karens and Kevins" but unlike them I wasn't seeking a refund or free food- I wanted to let the manager know directly. It was disheartening that I have to be so critical with a place I wanted to love so badly.

This is so sad, my sister just got food poisoning from here, she threw up right after she left the restaurant. She informed the manager and he responded rudely and declined a refund. I’ve been going to this place for years. I’ve found the quality to go down from the last time I was there. I wouldn’t recommend folks to come here. 0/5 stars.

Worst place. Maskless customers. Chaotic ordering system. Looooong wait. Dirty interior. Overworked employees with bad customer service practices. I’ve given this place enough tries. Never ordering in here again. For those that think this place has the “best poke bowl,” ORDER AHEAD or order delivery, or else you will face an absolute ordeal. Edited to add that their reviews are peppered with FAKE FIVE STARS. Shame on you for padding your rating with lies!

Poke had soy garlic on it but looked a bit slimy and then had a smell, I didn’t eat it brought it to them for a new one they said that’s how it is and said I should add spicy mayo for $1. What??? Cover up the rotten smell with sauce?

Not recommend. High prices for very small portions. Save your money and go to a nice sushi place. There are so many good ones in Orlando.

They’ve changed ownership three times now and my husband and I loved the poke bowls before! Now there is only one type of poke bowl and it’s not build your own. Was the spot and now it’s not. New ownership tanked it for us.

I been a customer here for over a year. I usually come here 2-3 times a week. The quality of the food is amazing. However prices have increased and the amount of food you receive has decreased. a Large bowl has gone up in price by 12 %.. you are also now getting less food than before and instead being charged extra. Customer service has gone down and the staff is rude. If you want extra sauce, in the bowl, not on the side its an additional charge and they will charge your multiple times, not once. Owner has gotten greedy and doesn't care about their customers, instead its about profits, and poor service. If you want great tasting food, this place has it, if you want a side of poor service and being over charged I highly recommend this place. I Will no longer be supporting this business, I recommend other poki places that are affordable with friendlier staff.

I will no longer be coming back to this poke again. Throughout the pandemic I’ve noticed their prices increase meanwhile the portion sizes of the fish have been reduced. This is understandable as the cost of food has risen, however, during my last visit today I noticed the portion sizes for all of the toppings including the rice were significantly smaller not even half of my bowl was filled up for the price of almost $16-17. Keep in mind, they used to fill up the bowl all the way despite the amount of scoops of fish you would order. The price is getting ridiculous for the amount of food you are getting, it seems as though they are getting stingy and greedy, I can understand keeping up with inflation but you are no longer getting what you pay for. Sucks because this used to be my favorite poke spot and now will be looking for another.
