My partner brought me here recently for veterans day, the staff was very attentive despite being so busy. The atmosphere was relatively calm too even though it was a big day. The food was good. The chicken salad serving size was eay more them I expected.

When we arrived, we were seated by Vernice. She is one of the best waitresses we’ve had when we have dying with Applebee’s in Santa Rosa on Santa Rosa Avenue. It was a five out of five star visit and the food that the back staff made was a five out of five highly recommend.

Hannah and Cat are amazing never disappoint bar area was full but they managed to get me and my friend a bar seat we had the nachos and happy hour wonton tacos.Happy hour beers always a must. Great service and atmosphere

My Dad is a Vietnam vet so we dined in to enjoy his free meal. Irene was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! She has a special way about her that makes you feel like family. We will definitely be back to dine with her again!

My lovely waitress Vanessa, at your Santa Rosa restaurant, was PHENOMENAL this evening!! I rarely dine out due to really high standards, and Vanessa exceeded my expectations! She was very attentive, and because it was a working dinner, I was not always looking around, and yet Vaneesa, the moment I looked up for more napkins, she was on it! My meal was delicious yet messy!! My meal included very specific add-ons, and it was delivered perfectly! Vanessa really made my dining experience exceptional, and I will most definitely share my experience! The manager, Kat, was also very helpful in assisting me with completing this survey, and she listened to my wonderful experience with sincere interest! This is a great place for a late night bite or cocktails. They always have some type of specials, i.e., 2 for $20. Sometimes beg service isn't the best, hit or miss. But, the prices offset the inconveniences. It's a great spot for office meetups or hangout with your buds. Drinks and food are decent and predictable. Try the Blondie. It's worth the calories.

bone apple bee teeth. got a mango smoothie and my good friend got a piña colada smoothie. both were great. we also saw that the menu offers a strawberry colada and a strawberry mango MIGHT I SUGGEST a mango colada smoothie for tropical island vibes. love coconuts. love mangos. Solid place to bring kids for some wings or maybe enjoy a couple of not too fancy drinks with friends. Servers are a little inattentive but it makes sense considering how outnumbered they are compared to the amount of clients. Only thing to really watch out for is the calorie count! It is very difficult to build a low calorie plate only about 3 or 4 options below 700 calories. I would go for the peppered salmon or the impossible cheeseburger with a side of green beans. There is a Happy Hour at 3-6pm and 9pm-close where appetizers are half price and some alcohol is discounted.

We had the wing special. Great price for all you can eat. The garlic Parm was the only one we liked. Barbecue was to sweet, and the sweet chili, NOPE. Our fries were old and cold, which they replaced. Our server was very sweet.

My family and I went to this Applebees restaurant in Santa Rosa California for my nephew's birthday. We had a great waitress. My nephew did not like the original style boneless chicken wings that he ordered. My friend, brother and I ordered beers and it took about 15 minutes to get to the table. I ordered the lime chicken and it was the top three best pieces of chicken I've ever had in my life. My only issue was the rice was not very good, the Panda Express in the same shopping center has better rice. I love how many TVs there are but I can only see one of them because there is a lamp in front of every screen. The restroom was almost impossible to find, but was very clean. They were very enthusiastic when four of the staff members came out and sang Happy Birthday to my nephew, I really appreciated that. Overall we had a great experience but there is much room for improvement!

We had to use the Applebee's gift card our lovely friend had given us as a present. We had piping hot delicious French Onion Soups, a very tasty Spinach and Artichoke Chicken Penne Pasta, and a very good Grilled Chicken sandwich burger with a side of green beans instead of french fries. All of it was fresh and very good. We were pleasantly surprised as we didn't expect a chain restaurant lunch to be as tasty as it was. Our initial waitress was not very courteous at all, however. We don't mind the time it takes to get our meals so long as the wait staff is pleasant. Our original waitress was not nice in the least and seemed hostile and irritable, so we requested a different wait staff and our second waitress was wonderful. She was either Black or half Black and was a tall, beautiful and well mannered young lady. We are elderly Asians. Thank you to her.

As a Type-2 diabetic I find Applebees to have food I can eat without having to worry about my blood sugar. And they welcome my Golden Retriever service dog.

Enjoyed our meal here and our server was very pleasant with a positive attitude and they had a help wanted sign up in the window. To bad they can't send workers to Clovis California and train the hostess and servers at Applebee's there, they need some Attitude training at that establishment.

The music was Very Loud. The food was adequate. Not impressed. Update: I went back to Applebees with my daughter recently and had a much more pleasant experience. Mostly I went because we wanted to sit down at a restaurant and everywhere else was closing up (it was around 9pm) so I took a chance and we had a very nice dinner. The waitress was nice and accommodating (she waited til it was 1/2 price appetizer time to order my wonton tacos) and my daughter enjoyed her cheeseburger and fries. So I am sorry Applebees for my previous negative review I would like to be pally's again. 😁

Overall pleasant experience. There was a mixup on the service which the server blamed on the fact that i changed my order from a 6 oz steak to an 8 oz steak ( or basically my fault?). Great place to eat and hang. Just wish meals were priced BEFORE adding beef or chicken so those of us who don’t eat critters could eat more than a salad here. Probably won't be back because we hate buying a meat dish, then having them hold the meat, and being charged for the meat anyway!

Well we sat down at 8.50pm at 9pm our server (Paul) took our order and at 9.17pm our drinks (a wine and beer finally came) of course i ordered a pinot noir and the pinot Grigio came out. The food was great it’s always consistent in Applebee’s. Since the minimum wage came in people stopped tipping, and with that the level of service seems to have collapsed.

Food was ok. Chicken strips were decent, but fries needed some adjustment. Came during a not terribly busy time, so food came out quick. Our host was very nice, but our waitress lacked a happy presence and just didn't give off a welcoming feeling. Overall, it is just another big chain restaurant, nothing special 🤷‍♀️

Food was ok, service was poor, took 15 minutes to get my drink refilled and that was after waiting 15 minutes for the waiter to come by and ask about a refill, honestly i got my drink when i was done eating. No refills for anyone else at the table, the forgot to ask and by that point, we were just ready to leave. Price point, I've paid similar prices for better tasting food and definitely better service. If your hungry and going for a place that people will be able to find, it works. But for price and service, maybe go elsewhere.

Disappointed .no longer my easy go to place.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while in town for work. Sat at the bar and had a tent of service from my bartender. Food came out fast and tasted fresh and my beverage was topped off multiple times. I would stop in again next time I’m in town.

hadn’t dined at Applebee’s in several years, but since it was my granddaughter’s birthday, I thought it would be a fun spot to take her. I remembered the menu having good kids’ options, and it still does. We were seated right away in a booth, just as we requested. Our server, Christian, was absolutely delightful—warm, attentive, and patient while answering all of our questions, which made ordering easy. I decided to revisit one of their “Perfect Margaritas.” While it wasn’t quite as strong as I remembered, it was still delicious, and I love that you can pour it yourself through the strainer. My granddaughter enjoyed her kids’ meal, but unfortunately, neither of us cared for the fries. They just weren’t very good, and we barely touched them. A highlight of the evening was when the staff surprised my granddaughter by singing “Happy Birthday” and bringing out a complimentary sundae. She was thrilled, and it made the night extra special.

Last time my family went there waited for food to long.....

Food was good but service needs work. We ordered 5 meals and an appetizer and they forgot about my meal. I thought it was just taking a bit longer but with talking to my family and snacking on the appetizer I didn’t realize my family was almost done eating and my food never showed. It started when we asked for plates for the appetizer and they never came then my food never came and when we asked for a refill that never came. Unfortunately while this was happening we noticed the group behind us left because no one came up to them.

Did an online order, waited 40 mins past the ready time. They forgot an item which resulted in additional 15 mins of waiting. Had to walk in to get that missing item. At least the girl who helped me after I walked in grabbed the item quickly. I think they were understaffed but watching multiple cars come and go in the curbside while you wait 40+ mins to get the wrong order just didn’t feel that good. Maybe those who got their order quickly also got the wrong order, just in a quicker time.

It was the worst steak dinner I've ever had. Ordered it medium rare, and it came medium well. It was very chewy and almost inedible. Mushy tasteless broccoli and "mashed" potatoes from a box. Took most of it to go and fed the steak it to a nice dog staying at my hotel.

I am a regular at this location ,Friday night my family and I came here just to go home with SEVERE FOOD POISONING! We each ordered the all you can eat & the wonton tacos , the food took over 45+ mins to come out & our drinks took 20 minutes we actually were served with paper to go cups because they had no clean glasses , we also had to approach a separate server for napkins and silverware as we were served food without any . The following morning I woke up with severe stomach pain , nasuea, & mild vomiting , I have a sensitive stomach so unfortunately I get food poisoning quite often but this was my WORST case yet , two of my other family members had diarrhea & stomach pains as well . I’m still in recovering as I’m making this review and I will not be coming back here . This is my SECOND time getting food poisoning from the wonton tacos and I believe the chicken was not properly stored .

Something has changed at this location. I went on a Friday after 10pm. had a waiting list plus a 30-40 minutes for the food, short in personnel, they said. It had some tables available. So, I left. I've returned a week later after 9pm, to find that a couple of people were waiting outside to be seated, so I left. Today, I went, almost 10 pm, and looked busy but had tables available. I got seated. After 25 minutes, nobody approached my table. I've looked around, and a couple of waitresses looked a bit overwhelmed. I left for the third and last time. Apparently, being short in personnel it's becoming more of a common thing with big chain restaurants.

Would not recommend this location. My girlfriend's order came out way over done. Second, when it came time for our bill the server took forever bringing it and then made the mistake of combining another table's order onto mine trying to charge me for it, fortunately catching it last Second. Learn to keep track of orders better. Would not recommend this location and will not be returning

Me and my family went to eat there and we ordered our appetizers and got them quick but our entrees took almost 2 hours to get to our table and only 2 of us ordered an entrée. Our waiter barely ever came over to our table to remove unwanted dishes and cups and barely checked on our table.

Showed up for my takeout order, which I saw bagged inside the kitchen. I was ignored for 12 minutes, as employees (and manager) walked past and gave me no notice all throughout. I eventually moved beside the entrance to the kitchen, where a gentleman with curly hair and a nose piercing instructed me to move back, and lied that my order was being bagged. A few minutes later they handed me the bag that was waiting when I arrived, and I walked out with a cold dinner. I would not suggest their takeout service, at all.

I am now a half an hour past when the site says my food was ready. It took 10 minutes to get any type of acknowledgement that I was even here. Standing here with a very large crowd, who is also waiting for anyone to let them know when/if their order will be available. Do better managing to go orders. Over an hour since the order was placed. Well, this place has changed a lot. I am still waiting- 45 minutes now- for a copy of my receipt. The server keeps promising us one when we go to find him, but nobody will provide one. We didn't even sign for our credit card payment. The food was still good, and prior to this, the service was average. I am beyond frustrated, and am starting to feel like they are trying to scam us. We were a party of 3 for dinner. Service was super slow, waited about 20 min before, anything was ordered- water/drinks / apps, however, our server did apologize for the long wait. The food took over an hour to come out. Server spilled my drink when setting it down- said he would come back with napkins to clean. He never came back with the napkins. The server said he would give us a discount for the long wait ( we didn't ask or complain) The food came out cold and my daughters pasta had meat on it when specifically asked for no meat (vegetarian). When the bill came, there was $3 discount on our $90 bill. I get that restaurants can be busy or short staffed, but it was late in the evening and there only a couple other customers besides us. We won't be going back.

I went there today after a long day at work to have a beer and diner and order a beer while I look the menu and I got a beer with it was really low and was poor badly and I wanted to say something because I thought it was just me but I keep seeing that he was pooring every beer the same that why I posting this review .. i usually go there because I love ❤️ Hanna she’s the best but this skinny guy I didn’t not liked it I went to order diner somewhere else

Me and my boyfriend just went to Applebees there in santa rosa, we were waiting for someone to gave us a table, no one say hi, no one was in the front entrance. But it was a lot of workers that just watched us. Some people leave the restaurant after having dinner, they were walking by our side and they said have a good evening. But no one said any word to us they just watched us weird. And when we leave the restaurant one of them, this in the picture just laughed about that. I used to go to that restaurant but not anymore. Bad service today.

***UPDATE*** THEY FORGOT ONE STEAK TO MY ORDER WHICH WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING WAITED ALMOST A WHOLE HOUR AND SINCE I PAID CASH THEY DIDNT WANT TO REFUND ME THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME A GIFT CARD HAD TO MAKE THEM GIVE CASH BACK FOR ORDER NOT HEING COMPLETE , THER IS A CHICK WITH BLACK HAIR AND TATS WHO I VERY RUDE AND HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A YOUNG KID WITH CURLY HAIR AND A MUSTACHE WHO GAVE Attitude WHEN ASK WHAT I WAS DOING THEIR YOU GUYS NEED TO REALLY TRAIN THESE KIDS TO DO BETTER OTHERWISE YOU WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS LIKE THE ROHNERT PARK LOCATION Placed online order 40 min before when I arrived nobody acknowledged me then the server ask me can I help you and gave attitude , don’t understand why you give attitude to a customer who spent over $150 and then gets food cold really bad experience Applebees needs to stop hiring kids or put the through training 1/3/26 Came back to give second chance and it was worse very disapoined never coming back

Absolutely disgusting! Don't know where they source their chicken from but everyone at the table spit it out. It tasted like plastic and the texture was alien. No matter what you eat here, your belly aches always. And, let's review their sickening mixed cocktails, how is it possible that they all suck? This last visit put me at the bottom, I am done with Applebees forever!!

Apparently they offer "The really big meal deal" but the servers are told not to mention it. The ziosk however informed me half way through my meal. Manager came over and said that they really don't want people ordering it but have no control of the ziosk.

The sadness is a brand Name chain serves bad food food and what I mean abut bad food its ....spoiled chicken I was in the area for a buisness trip and had waiting time between my meetings However I ordred the grilled shrimp and chicken with roasted potatoes After first bite I had the shrimp and then a bite of chicken I could taste the chicken was bad and spitting it out in my napkin as a chef I know the taste of chicken and what fresh taste like I asked th waiter to taste and smell the chicken and his response was the same I asked for the manger name COREY and not a manger his waiter stood up and tried to do damage control but as the front line services staff do not have control in the food where was the Chef not checking the Mis en place and 2here was Corey the manger not follow up with the guest and his manager was hiding in the back not to be found i as I expected As a name brand restaurant group in the states and Asia I have never experienced a such low service recovery for guest in the establishment such as APPLEBEES GRILL AND BAR Shame on you serving spoiled food .....back to basic
