Excelente. Parece un sitio cutre desde fuera pero sorprende enormemente cuando ves el despliegue de vinos y botellas de todo tipo colocados por el techo, paredes…es un museo como indican a su entrada. Un precio nada exagerado para comer excelente, ser atendido por profesionales y tomar una botella de vino de las múltiples o cientos de referencias que tiene. Hay que repetir, la experiencia merece mucho la pena.

Lugar super recomendable. Calidad/precio es sublime. El producto es de primera, muy buenas recomendaciones y trato por parte del personal. La tabla de quesos buenísima (si te gusta el queso fuerte), el lenguado correcto y la lubina muy rica.

Es un restaurante que no sólo tiene buena comida tradicional sino que te lleva a un mundo de vinos que jamás verás en otro lugar. El dueño está siempre ahí, recomendado vinos y siempre ofrece unas opciones originales que nunca fallan! Si estás en Santander, vale la pena comer ahí!

Las croquetas estaban deliciosas. La carne es su punto exacto y super tierna. Si ya entramos en el arroz con leche... Muy muy bueno y el trato excelente por parte de los camareros.

Buena recomendación de la guía Michelin. La comida, además de estar muy elaborada está deliciosa, mención especial al rape Como únicos puntos negativos, el servicio dejó un poco que desear, y la caña no estaba correctamente tirada

Lugar especial y espectacular. Si quieres tomar buenos vinos (sabiendo y sin saber) acompañando a una excelente cocina basada en la materia prima, este es tu sitio. Andrés es un increíble anfitrión. Al final, la bodega que hace de casa de comidas es cómo su primera casa. Tiene miles de referencias en vino y es un excelente somellier. A su excelente oferta vinicola, hay que destacar su carta, dónde el rape y los pimientos rellenos son las estrellas. Además, tiene un pescado fuera de carta impresionante. En mi última visita, tenía un mero de 3 kilos. La única pega que le pongo es a su chuleta. Considero, humildemente que si contase con chuleta madurada sería la guinda que le falta. Te vas de allí muy agradecido por el trato recibido.

Además de una cocina exquisita y selecta, es, probablemente, el mejor museo de cata de vinos del mundo, reconocido inclusive por Forbes. Si te gusta el buen vino y quieres las mejores catas y recomendaciones ya sabes dónde ir.

What a gem! The inside is beautiful, the service was great and the staff so knowledgeable about the extensive wine list (which was great by the way! So many hard to find, amazing options!) And the food was amazing, unpretentious, classic and really well cooked! Not to mention that they were great at adapting to my food (coeliac), making sure everything was gluten free and with no cross contamination! Can't recommend this place enough!

Wow! Just wow! This place is a temple for wine lovers. Andres is a great host that talked with us and shared his knowledge and experience, making this an unforgettable evening. The food is also exceptional, special mention of the morcilla and the chuletón. A definite must and a bucket list place.

Very special place. Ate here three times while visiting Santander. Very simple, perfectly constructed food. The boar bourguignon was one of the best dishes, and by far the best stew I have ever had. The fish of the day, was tender and beautifully spare. Cheese great. Rice pudding super. The wine is absolutely unbelievable. It was such a fun experience to talk to the totally amazing sommelier about certain producers and head down very specific paths with our interests. It was all in all one of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant, with all of the staff being a huge, friendly and helpful part of each visit. I would love to come back to Santander specifically to visit this restaurant a few more times.

Busy restaurant serving great seafood. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is decorated with old bottles of expensive wine and a sign that says it is the "Cemetery" for good wine. But they also have an extensive wine list and one of the best sommeliers in Spain !

Perhaps the best if not the only place to dine with fine wines in Santander. Nothing added, nothing taken away. The most peculiar taste will be satisfied here. For the wine lowers - Ganevat has 10 positions on the wine list at the most reasonable (if not so sad cheap) prices

Experiencia muy agradable en un local con mucha personalidad. La Bodega Cigaleña destaca por su ambiente único, rodeado de botellas que crean una atmósfera especial y muy acogedora. La comida estaba buena, con producto de calidad y platos bien elaborados, fieles a la cocina tradicional. El servicio fue correcto y el conjunto resulta una experiencia recomendable, especialmente para los amantes del vino. Como punto a mejorar, el precio (unos 44 € por persona) resulta algo elevado en relación a lo ofrecido, aunque el entorno y la calidad general compensan en parte. En definitiva, un sitio con encanto y buena cocina, ideal para una ocasión especial, aunque con una relación calidad-precio algo ajustada.

Es un clásico de Santander. La decoración es muy original con todas las paredes y techos llenos de botellas. La carta es un poco corta pero la materia prima es excelente tanto en carnes como en pescados.

One of my favourite restaurants . In July you need to book up to 4 weeks in advance. We had to accept eating at the bar area but still had plenty of options great food ; good price and good service
