I found this place through reviews on Maps while looking for a trattoria for a quick lunch break. The restaurant is located just outside the town hall, near the border with Genoa. Parking is a bit difficult, especially for vans or larger vehicles. For lunch, they offer a fixed-price "workers'" menu. A first course, in my case, was spaghetti, which can be topped with a variety of sauces; since I arrived late, the lasagna was sold out. A second course with a wide selection, including fish dishes. I ordered water, a quart of rosé wine, coffee, and panna cotta (see photo). All the food was good and plentiful. The service was quick and courteous, the place was simple but very clean with a lovely outdoor veranda. In short, everything you'd expect from a trattoria for a lunch break at work. Good price, having ordered coffee, dessert, and a quarter of wine for €14. The waitresses' nice idea of ​​putting the ready-made cheese bags in their aprons was nice... saving time and miles. Get organized, and the pouch will also come with oil, vinegar, salt, and sugar. 😀 The menu offers alternative dishes that tempt me for a more leisurely meal in good company. When I work in the area again, this will definitely be my first choice.

It's a simple place, but the menu offers a wide variety, and the staff is fast and attentive. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The food is standard, but good. There's also the option of dishes outside of the fixed-price menu. The bill for the fixed-price menu (1 first course, 1 second course, side dish, water, and wine) is €13.00 per person. This price has increased, but most importantly, the food is good. On Fridays, for a €2 surcharge on the fixed price, you can try stockfish. I've never had it, but I'll try it soon. It's very busy, so you might have to wait a bit for a table, but it's worth it. I really enjoyed it, and I'll be back every now and then.

Hostaria Emilia If you're in Valpolcevera, just outside Bolzaneto in the small town of Geo, this family-run trattoria, frequented by workers during the week, is the ideal place for good food at reasonable prices. The cuisine is Italian, especially Genoese. Simple, good-quality menu... This place's specialty is that it serves excellent ravioli, excellent pesto, veal with tuna sauce and beef, Ligurian-style rabbit, stockfish on Fridays, and many other excellent dishes. Extremely kind and helpful staff, excellent value for money, definitely worth a try for a quick lunch during the week... (But also on weeknights with more sophisticated dishes.) Congratulations...

Ero in zona e non sapevo dove mangiare, ho letto le recensioni, abbastanza positive, e devo dire che l'ho trovato al di sotto delle aspettative. Una scelta ridotta di piatti e abbastanza banali. The prices are high despite the location and ambiance. There's no parking, even though it says there is a parking lot, but it's impossible to get in; it's tiny. The food is average, but not for the prices. They charge €10 per dish if it were at least a single dish, but that's not the case. I ordered stuffed anchovies with cod fritters, but I got two anchovies and three cod fritters, all for €10, which is way too much.
