Best place in Schenectady to eat, its affordable, and it taste amazing. Everytime I go out, I go here. I've been going here for 4 years now and they still have not made me regret going there.

I live up in Saratoga, and I regularly come to Schenectady just to get this chicken, my kids love it, my landlord up here loves it, it is phenomenal. I just wish there was chicken like this available near me, but its worth the 30 minutes drive to get it.

Good fresh, inexpensive food. Got a fish sandwich meal and a soda, cheeseburger meal with a soda , 6 long and juicy chicken fingers with fries and a soda, all for under $22. Amazing deal!!!

Great halal spot! I asked if they had lamb since its not listed under Gyros on the menu, and they did. I got my food in under 5 minutes and was very impressed. Everything was piping hot and fresh. Great amount of food for the price. A heap of fries with seasoning, and a lamb gyro piled high with all the fixins- tzaziki sauce, fresh lettuce and tomato, and grilled onions. Definitely coming back!

Found this place while driving and decided to give them a shot and I was not disappointed at all the food i ordered was delicious. They had other stuff in the menu which looked good. Definitely going to come back.

The food and service is excellent. Im not sure why some people complain. This is a halal fast food.. The only one I have ever seen in the upstate area! With halal also comes great people who work 24/7 for their familys and cant always understand english the best so it is a given that at times the person taking your order may not be 100% perfect but they do their best. Recently found this place. The food is great and delicious. They have a large menu combined of both middle Eastern dishes and americans. Very polite and friendly and the service was fast and neat. For sure I'll come back there and have some other dishes too.

Thos is a chain restaurant but it has the mom and pops feel. The food is good ND if you're Muslim and need hallal food it's a good spot. I personally like their fried chicken and chicken over rice.

If you want a Desert to try, Ask them For the Vanilla Cake with the Cream on the bottom. I can't remember the name of it? They will know what your talking about. They have great Service. Food is made to order & very fast. The Staff are Always friendly and helpful. It's a Family owned Small Business. They do have dinning in area but the vast majority of the Business is take out. A perk is the Building used to be a KFC. They have Drive through so, You don't even need to get out of your car! Nothing beats supporting our local community!!! Check them out!! Absolutely love this place! The food is good and the guy is really friendly and nice. Nice atmosphere. We were able to sit down with four kids and 3 adults and didn't feel rushed. Great food every time I go. We also ordered something different and it was amazing. We had the lamb shank over rice. That leg of lamb was so tender and seasoned wonderfully.

sebil is the best ever. i went through the drive thru and the food was hot and ready each and every time and the food was to die for. the chicken kabob over rice is easily the best thing on their menu. hands down. and the cake was the best ever. sebil and rasheed are the best. customer service. 10/10. food 10/10. overall. 11/11. i would recommend this to everyone

We got a large order catered and requested specially how we wanted the cheesesteaks to be made. And boy did they deliver! The food was on point and the staff kind. Would recommend to all family and friends to try the various menu options they have as there as many that are delicious.

This is the best gyro food in 100 miles. I travel 30 minutes just to get the beef over rice gyro. Fresh salad, fresh clean good meat and wonderfully fresh rice for a fantastic price. 8.5/10 food and that is extremely high on my food scale.

These guys couldn't be any nicer! We showed up after a concert, right before closing, most places would have said sorry we are closed! These guys very kindly offered to make us fresh food and even gave us se stuff to try while we waited. The food was delicious and we were so very grateful!!! If anyone asks me, I most certainly will recommend them 👍

I love the food here, especially the gyros and the mixed lamb & chicken plate with spicy rice. The staff are friendly and efficient, the drive thru takes a bit if you don't call ahead, but that's because your food is made fresh. I tell everyone to stop and try it, and it's my first choice for takeout when I have visitors!

The customer service is phenomenal. Food is great. Did I mention customer service was awesome!!!! Fried chicken is halal and really good. Better than other halal fried chicken place in Albany. There biriyani rice is delicious too and the beef kabab was amazing. I go to that place every now and then, it is a bit far from where I live but definitely worth the trip. Hopefully it stays the same.

I've driven by this place many times but never stopped. I went tonight because of the ratings on Google and I have to tell you that everything is true. The fried chicken is the best I've ever had and the staff was super nice and even gave me some extras that I didn't ask for but were fantastic. You have to try the spicy rice! Will definitely recommend to friends and will be back!

It's halal. Halal fast food. There was one in my city of Utica, NY unfortunately it wasn't committed to to be successful but when I found this CFC I was quite happy. You definitely get your fill and the menu has a large selection compared to the other fast food places.

They have great food and fair prices. The rice platters are delicious and they have a whole variety of things including desserts. Staff are also friendly there.

Very good fried chicken, and the rice they make is amazing. It's fluffy and spicy. I always get an extra order of rice with my fried chicken so I can have some for lunch the next day. The staff is always smiling and helpful and very friendly. This is my go-to fried chicken house, and don't forget to order the rice.

Not consistant. Portion of lamb was small. Salty. Ive had here in the past multiple times, always something a bit off... either charged too much, lamb qty more or in this case less. Tasty majority but this time salty as hell. Going toward Albany on the left is a place MAZADAR. They are more expensive but consistently fantastic, everytime.

If I had to be honest, the chicken is overcooked for the fried chicken and the buffalo chicken. Other then that, the taste is fine. The shrimp item, it says 21 pieces, but it's like super tiny pieces of shrimp, but does taste with the white sauce. Overall experience was okay, it's not bad.

Service is slow. Customer service sucks. I had a 87.63. I was bringing to hospital, they would not give any extra napkins or paper plates. It does not matter how good was. With service like that who would go back?

The food is all right, but when an order is incorrect because of an incorrect price on Door Dash, instead of calling, they short your order. This happened and when I called, I got a very rude man on the phone who refused to do anything about it. Argued the whole time.

The food is amazing but when I ordered through grub hub. The restaurant driver told me if I don’t leave a tip they won’t be delivering anymore… if he didn’t say this to my face when receiving the order he would have gotten the cash tip I had for the driver… I have always given cash tips on Grubhub orders … but won’t be ordering delivery or Grubhub for them again!

We are regular customers of this establishment as we have a large family. Today we ordered on the phone as usual however we asked if it could be delivered and they assured us that it could be done. What a mistake we made. First, when the food arrived there were items missing, the most important being the fried chicken. Then the sandwiches didn’t have the correct condiments, if any. The platters were lacking white sauce. So we called to get all of this rectified and had to call twice to check how long it would be as almost half an hour had passed. Usually we have good experiences however this has truly ruined their reputation in my eyes. BE WARNED! P.S. still waiting for the food.

I use to go there all the time for lunch and it use to be a great place to eat the food was fresh. but since then the employees were very rude. the last 6 times I went there and ordered over the phone the guy was very rude. and the guy that delivered the food was a very rude person. I have recently found hair In my food. it use to be great food it's blan, the fries were stale and soggy, I wish they would do better like 3 years ago but there just not worth it anymore.

Pretty disappointing experience. Got chicken over rice, pizza, burgers and fried chicken. The pizza, fried chicken and burgers weren't bad, pretty hard to mess those up. Chicken over rice wasn't good. it tasted the chicken was old and the white sauce tasted like straight ranch. Also was expensive, $10 for the chicken over rice, most places charge 7-8 and give you more good. They didn't give a drink with either, which most places do. Icing on the cake is that they told me amount for the cost when I was paying, swiped my card, and when I looked at my receipt they charge $2 more than what they said. $2 is not a big deal, but its the principle of the matter. Very expensive for low quality, if you go get the burgers or fried chicken, and check your receipts.

Went on a rainy day it was pouring I was the only one there but the food was good did make me sick tho so do as you will prefer to go to halal addicts on Altamont Avenue in Schenectady. The mango lassie is a must if you yogurt smoothies they do it right they do it fresh

2 stars only because the food is still good. The prices have doubled which is expected with this economy. New owners for sure , the menu prices change all the time. The chicken fingers are never fingers anymore but strips that are half the size and double the price. If you order a 6 piece you get 2 cut up. 9 you get 4 and so on. They skimp very badly. We used to order once a week at least. Will never do it again.

I ordered cheese fries to go with my cheeseburger but they gave me regular fries and I called them and asked them to bring me my cheese fries and said the driver is making other delivery's and I ordered it at 7:30pm and they never brought my cheese fries

Never again will I order from this place I ordered 2 Italian cheese burgers I told them no cheese on one they put it on both the burger was very thin and over cooked. It was so dry and nasty and very few fries and the sub roll was dry and old. the pizza was soggy. This is a place I will never order from again. Worst cooks ever.

Bad customer service first of all. I went inside and waited for a while for someone to take my order, I was royaly ignored, and after I spoke out them, they asked what I wanted, I asked for 6 piece chicken wings which cost 6.99, paid with card and the next day when I checked my bank the changed me $19.74. Long story short. They refused to give my money back because they DIDN'T PUT THE RECIPE IN THE PLASTIC BAG.

Just stopped in here after a long late night walk home from the club after a few drinks. Figured I'd grab some chicken for when I get home... I've been here once or twice and the staff is nice but the food is 50/50. The chicken is fine but I just took a bite of the coleslaw salad they gave me with my 5-piece chicken box and guess what? It was spoiled. Its brown and fermented. The mash potatoes are edible but not much better. I don't think I will go here ever again even if I am drunk.

This place is prejudice! The normal guys that worked was not there the day I went. There was a younger guy working that day. He cursed at me and told me to get the “f” out of his drive-thru, in front of everyone. I couldn’t move my car, there was a car too close in front that wouldn’t move and a car already behind me. I ordered a pizza. 8 piece pizza medium size is $13. I wouldn't buy it again. It is not worth of $13. Better to buy at domino for less than $9 plus Domino add free jalapeños or olive but not cfc . Domino pizza is much better than this one. Very bad experience to buy it here.

Chicken was very dry. Feels like it was sitting around all day. I thought there'd be more side orders. It was showing coleslaw but there wasn't any. Potatoes came with it but it was a potato gravy mix so by the time I got home it was like a soup.

This store delivers on their own. When the guy came I gave the guy the money for the order. Then he says no tip, I respond saying my kids wanted to order some food and I barely had enough for the balance without the tip. And he then hands me the money back and said no tip no delivery and drive away. I was left shocked! I even told him next time I order I will give them a tip

The older guy that works there provides the WORST customer service ever. He always charges more than the price listed on the menu and ALWAYS sends the wrong order or messes up my orders. He never tries to fix the orders when i call to complain, instead he argues and then says he'll fix it "next time" but it never happens. The customer service sucks. They think that just because they aren’t from the US they don’t have to be respectful. Very rude. I ordered 12 piece nuggets online it says it’s $8 when I get to the restaurant he says it’s $11 and that the menu online is out dated. I asked to downsize my order since prices online didn’t match. The drive thru worker got upset and stormed off without saying a word.They are either scamming people for their money or just too lazy to update the website. I reported them to better business bureau for having different prices online than in the store. I do not recommend this place. FYI during the summer they leave the back door open.. for what I have no idea and I’m sure all types of creatures wonder in. Again, I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone not even a dog!

Ordered 2 lamb gyros and poppers and mozzarella sticks....was charged $453.00 dollars...I understand mistakes happen but they cleaned me out..couldn't refund my money back to my card due to not having a pass code and that would have taken days but instead gave me cash money back. Seen this place across the street decided to just stop by and wish I hadn’t! the food was terrible , the customer service is terrible , the food portion is terrible, I’m not even the type to leave reviews but it was so bad that I had to make others aware I don’t see how there in business .Chicken was dried out asked can I get some fresh ones and he just put mines that I had back in the grease and the Philly literally had no meat in it more bread than meat . This is the second time something like this has happened to us at this restaurant. The last time, we thought, “It’s okay, mistakes happen sometimes,” and gave them the benefit of the doubt. But this time again, the experience was just as disappointing. First of all, they clearly do not care about hygiene. The restaurant was unclean—the tables had visible dirt on them, and the floor was sticky. They haven’t designated a proper area for washing hands, and even if there is one, it’s marked “Employees Only.” The washroom was also extremely dirty. As for the person standing at the counter, his behavior was extremely rude. He did not speak politely at all. When we asked him for Thai chili sauce, he outright lied to us, saying they didn’t have any—even though we could clearly see it right in front of us. We ordered food and spent nearly $100 there, but we were completely unsatisfied. I absolutely would not recommend this restaurant to Muslims. There are many other halal restaurants in Albany that are far better and worth visiting. From my side, I give this restaurant a 0.00 rating.

I did not like anything about this visit. The customer service was awful. The guy had a nasty tone to his voive talking to me. The taste of the chicken was plain Jane. No spicy breading or anything like that so Nothing was special about it. I Liked KFC there a lot better. Coleslaw did not have the zest to it. Tasted like watered-down mayonnaise to save money, The rolls had no butter with them. That was worse than McDonald's.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Crown Fried Chicken: I recently ordered from Crown Fried Chicken on State St in Schenectady, and I must say it was an incredibly disappointing experience. Additionally, the rice accompanying the meal was dry and lacked any seasoning or taste. It felt as if it had been sitting out for far too long, resulting in a bland and unappetizing side dish. To make matters worse, my order of potato wedges was also burnt, leaving them overly crispy and unpleasantly charred. It was evident that proper care was not taken during the cooking process, resulting in a subpar and unsatisfactory side. Furthermore, even the brisk iced tea I ordered was a disappointment. The can it was served in arrived beaten up, giving an unappealing appearance. Although this may seem like a minor issue, it certainly did not contribute to an enjoyable dining experience. On a slightly positive note, I will acknowledge that the delivery service was relatively quick, which was the only redeeming aspect of my order. However, it cannot overshadow the numerous issues I encountered with the actual food itself. Overall, I cannot recommend Crown Fried Chicken on State St in Schenectady based on my experience.
