Entrees were wonderful. The beef shish kebab was extremely tender and great portion size. The Muhamarra dip needed more bread. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant was cozy and relaxing environment.

I can't believe I waited this long to try Ada's! It's unassuming but absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was perfectly seasoned and textured. We started with a mezze platter, which I'd highly recommend to sample a bunch of appetizers. The hummus is fantastic, though I wish it also came with some vegetables for dipping instead of just bread. For mains, the beyti kebab and chicken shish kebab are real standouts. The portions are generous so don't overdo it! Lastly, the baklava for dessert is some of the best I've ever had. Not completely traditional, but excellent. It's served warm, with a crisp, flaky top and a creamy, nutty center. It's truly fantastic.

Ayhan and his team created a beautiful meal for us, both presentation and flavor. The Mezze platter was worth the 2+ hour trip over the border. Tracy was an especially attentive server. She took care of us, made delicious cocktails and suggested a perfect wine pairing for our meal. Truly, a dining experience

We were in the city and wanted to try this place. Overall we were satisfied. Tripe soup was on spot. Mantı was pretty delicious. Donair and iskender was ok. Muhammara dip was pretty tasty. Baklava and rice pudding were 7.5/10 for us. Their Turkish wine selection is good. Overall we spent 209usd for 2 adults and 1 kid. We are not locals to Seattle so I can’t compare their prices to other restaurants around but we found it a bit overpriced for our taste buds vs bill. On the other hand ambiance and service was excellent. The chef came out of kitchen and paid a visit to tables. He was very personable and kind, paid special attention to our daughter and even served ice cream for her as a treat. We would go back again to try other dishes.

We stumbled upon Ada's when looking for a restaurant before heading out to Zoo-tunes. Easy walking distance from the North and West side of the zoo. Once inside the restaurant there are a handful of cute tables as well as a full bar that has seating. We were greeted immediately and decided to sit at the bar. The service was amazing. The hummus and pita were one of the best I have ever had. I went for the scallops which were prepared to perfection. My wife had the chicken which was tender and moist and paired perfectly with a yogurt sauce. There are a selection of Turkish and non-Turkish wines, beers and a fully stocked bar including bourbons and whiskeys. I am already wanting to go back, and next time I will try the desserts. Definitely a 5 star experience and happy I got to support this small business.

Ada’s is a wonderful spot! Tracy let us know about the excellent HH options at the bar when we arrived! As a result we toured the appetizers and they were all excellent! Plus who doesn’t love happy hour on a Sunday! The food was great, the setting is excellent, we’ll definitely be back, highly recommend you stop by if you get a chance!!

The food here is absolutely amazing! Loved the welcoming atmosphere and the decor gives it such a cool vibe. Thank you to our server Tracy for all the wonderful suggestions! We will definitely be back for more!

So much creativity, love, care and mind-blowing flavor in every dish. Fresh locally grown ingredients elevates the food here to another level. The service was amazing as well. The servers were so knowledgeable and genuinely wanted us to have a good time. Truly an experience. We haven’t been able to stop thinking about their mastic rice pudding since.

The Chef is amazing and our waiter was authentically happy and confident with his recommendations. The food was excellent. We sat outside on a warm Summer evening drinking Turkish wine and beer. It was the best dining experience we've had in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant. You'll be glad you tried it out. Kadir went beyond the expectations of a competent and thoughtful waiter. He made the meal an experience which one can't find in many restaurants. Top!

Excellent food - a little pricey. The signature beef tenderloin was so tender and flavorful. The stuffed eggplant was very tasty too. Beef medallion is a bit salty and tough, but goes well with the sauce and rice

#SeattleRestaurantWeek lunch with friends. Highly recommend all the pictured dishes. Tasty meatballs in the Lebeniye. The buttery jasmine pilaf went well with all the meats. Try to get both dessert options; it is well worth it. Friendly owner and nice ambience inside!

We had an amazing dinner on the weekend. The restaurant was lively and busy but cozy. Food was absolutely delicious, must try desert - red wine soaked pear.

Excellent presentation and delicious food! The waiter and the chef/owner were so friendly and hospitable. I forgot what it was like to dine inside a restaurant. At first it felt so awkward removing my mask in public but it was so worth it to have this restaurant dining experience again. Everything was sanitized. I recommend this restaurant any day and would love to come back again.

Incredible food, even better people. I’ve eaten at a lot of Mediterranean places in Seattle, but this one hits different — truly authentic Turkish cuisine. The Adana kebab was perfectly seasoned, the rice was soft and buttery, and the rakı made it all feel like a sunny night in Istanbul. Service was top notch — Tracy and Allyson were super friendly and attentive, and Oumaima at the host stand made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Huge respect to Chef Nurullah for the amazing food, and to Ayhan, the owner, whose passion for hospitality and quality is obvious in every detail — from the service to the plating. This isn’t just food — it’s a full cultural experience. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

Fine dining in Turkish! Chef Ayhan did an amazing job bringing the Turkish food to an American dining experience which is rare. Whether you are a Turkish person craving for a taste from home or someone looking to explore Mediterranean cuisine, this place will not disappoint. We got the trout, saç kavurma, and beyti. It was too much food for two, so we regretfully couldn’t finish everything but they were all delicious! Definitely give rice pudding a try if you’re in the mood for dessert!

The food was absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurants in Seattle hands down, and I've lived here for over 20 years. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Phinney establishment. The chef has a wonderful way with spices and flavors...Turkish with a smattering of Italian thrown in. Wonderful ambiance and the servers are knowledgeable, attentive and delightful! Both our entrees, marinated chicken kebab and softest (sp?) we're delish! Must go back!

So glad to have this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood. The servers were great. We asked to sit outside as the inside felt stuffy, a bit smelly and too warm for a summer afternoon. The food is great! Kofte was my favorite. Beef/lamb sis kebab was tasty but got were chewy as it got cold. Don’t recommend the manti though. Will be back to try other dishes soon!

From start to finish this meal was absolutely incredible and the servers made you feel like you were family- so welcoming. This was my first time eating at a Turkish styled restaurant and I was wowed! We started off with the Duck, Goat Cheese and Pistachio dip and Turkish Sunset cocktails as an appetizer - chefs kiss! So delicious. For our dinner we ordered the Whole Trout which was so flavorful and melted right in your mouth- must try. We also ordered the Ribeye which was super delicious as well. The potatoes that came with were off the charts. Everything was so detailed and put together beautifully. The press station of each course was spot on. The service was one of my favorite parts about this restaurant because of how attentive and welcoming the entire staff is the second you walk in to be seated. Don’t leave without getting the Baklava! It was the best I have ever had :) If you’re looking for an authentic experience and incredible food definitely would recommend Adas!

Went in a date night and thought the overall experience was really good. Good food options for vegetarians, chill atmosphere and service was exceptional. I couldn’t help but notice an elder woman behind my who thought their food was too spicy and complained, the chef/owner personally came out and gave the replacement dish and told her if this wasn’t to her taste he’s happy to make another!!

Turkish food made by a real chef. The menu has dishes that celebrate Italian and French cuisine as well. The owner used to be the head chef at Daniel's Broiler so the steaks are also delicious! There are reservable private rooms in the back for bigger parties.

What a pleasant surprise! Was curious about trying Turkish food and found a he brilliant restaurant. 15 years as executive chef at Daniels and having beena pastry chef at four-star Hotels has taught the chef/owner a few things about running his own restaurant. Exquisite comes to mind Cozy comes to mind.

Great spot for a private party or dinner. Hosted the hubby’s 50th in the private room and we had an absolute blast! Excellent food and amazing wine. The owner baked a spectacular dessert. Could not have asked for a better meal for the celebration. Everyone enjoyed every element of the evening!

We had a wonderful experience here for my dad’s birthday. The staff were so helpful, kind, and accommodating. Surprised this place wasn’t busier! The food was great, the drinks were good. Ryan, the new front of house and waiter, was such a great host. The chef, Ayhan, was so kind and came out to meet us and serve food. Definitely recommend this place for great Turkish food and a good atmosphere. They are very accommodating with food allergies, our group had many. Gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options galore! Perfect date night spot or for drinks and dinner with friends! Try the Raki - Turkish aperitif with licorice flavor, aka Lions milk. Incredible spot. Will definitely recommend this place to friends!

The perfect dinner experience; The dishes were beautifully presented, from the salad, risotto and fried calamari all of them well balanced in flavours. • • The bread tasted liked it was coming right out from the oven. It brought back memories from my hometown were we use to buy the bread fresh and it was still warm at touch. The butter had the right counts of Himalayan pink salt crystals as topper; wondering what comes next. • • The master plan is carefully designed starting from the way the plates flows out from the kitchen to the way the plates are positioned with such extremely detail on the table... Perfect timing and surprising effect. • • The Mushrooms Risotto had exactly the right amount of sweetness, saltiness, acidity and bitterness (please eat the artichoke in the middle right after you have completed 60-70% of the rice, you''ll probably thank me later...), all these flavors were transported by the perfect risotto rice integrated with a rich red pepper bouillon. Definitely the star of the night. • • Nevertheless the experience and attention was classy, coordinated and timed. Even the chef came out to check out on us and even he gave some treats and water to our doggy, nice touch. • • The mixologist did a great job, well balanced Aperol Spritz with a nice garnish, dehydrated bloody orange. • • Thank you chef, you have an amazing team and place. Keep doing what you are doing, consistently please. • • ED

They take hospitality to a whole new level! Food was absolutely delicious. Muhammara Dip was so good and every dish we tried had a beautiful taste. Staff were very kind and attentive and played songs we asked. We had such an amazing time! Can’t wait to go back!

We had a really nice early dinner. We had calamari as appetizer which was yummy! My daughter had the manti (beef dumplings) they were yummy, if a bit on the too buttery side. I had the köfte kabab which was delicious. We also loved their Turkish tea and ice cream! The chef came to our table and we met him too. Great service and atmosphere.

We came here on a whim for date night and absolutely loved it. We shared the saksuka and whole trout, and tried their Turkish wine. The dishes were really well seasoned and had wonderful flavor. Very crave-able and memorable. Our waitress was lovely and helpful. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to try more dishes!

Been here 8 years and this is one of the best meals I've ever had in Seattle. Service was great, Ada the chef came out himself to tell us about the specials. Every dish was so very good.

First time at Ada’s this Friday night. The atmosphere was so welcome and cozy. The staff was attentive and offered “must try” dishes to help us make sure we did not miss out on the menu. From the apps (insanely good shrimp diavolo) to the main meal (The Steel Plate), to the amazing desert (3puffs), it was the best dinner my wife and I have had in recent memory and we are travelers! Walking out, our first thought was, when our friends and family visit, we are taking them to Ada’s. We will be back!

Ada’s Restaurant & Bar is a wonderful restaurant in the Phinney Ridge area who specializes in Turkish cuisine. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The owner/chef came out to chat to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We started with the Borek (cheese surrounded by pastry) which was amazing. I had the Karniyarik (eggplant stuffed with spiced ground beef) and my wife had the Beef Tenderloin Shish Kebab, both were excellent. We also had a bottle of the Tricycle Cabernet Sauvignon that they recommended. It was wonderful. We had a great time and had a very satisfying meal.

Ada's is a beautiful restaurant and a treasure chest of flavors! I've wanted to go for a long time, and finally made it last night. The staff was so pleasant and kind. The restaurant is clean, which is important to me, and they are still providing a dining experience, where a lot of places in Seattle have just became plain lazy. The food is delicious! Lots of flavor, and strong flavors at that, which had my mouth dancing and singing. For reference I ordered: Bread and butter service Almond ricotta ravioli Mushrooms side Seasonal vegetables side Profiteroles for dessert I loved it all. And on a Wednesday, where most restaurants around were desolate, this one was hopping by 7:15. So let's keeo this gem open, and everyone go, and often!!!

Beautiful presentations of delicious food delivered promptly by experienced, knowledgeable and charming waitstaff. Highlights for us: Beef tenderloin carpaccio, Borek (a tasty mix of feta & Parmesan baked in a flaky pastry crust), a very refreshing chilled roasted beet and orange salad, pan seared scallops with creamy arborio risotto and Sac Kavurma (Sâch Kŭh VUR mŭh). Sac translates to "iron pot," in this case a steel wok-like bowl with tender seared beef cubes cooked with onions, peppers, chili flakes, tomatoes garlic and spices blended to provide a mildly spicy but not excessive heat, surrounding an island of jasmine rice. Although I've had all these ingredients before, this combination provided a new and delightful experience. Maria and Tracy are experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Chef Ayhan visited every table to greet us and ensure our satisfaction, a nice touch! There is parking in the back and on the street. We found a spot literally just outside the door. Amazing. Am disappointed (in myself) that after 8 years in business, this was our first visit to Ada's. It won't be our last.

Enjoyed the Seattle Restaurant week menu. Asparagus Salad & Turkish soup were good. Branzino was ok - to many micro-greens on top, seemed like skin to meat ratio was off (too much skin) A lot of crisp broccoli and “scalloped” potatoes were just undercooked potatoes rounds. Grilled Kababs were all good, tenderloin had excellent flavor but two pieces were to tough and inedible. To much salad and unexpected grill pepper 🤢. The pita piece and yogurt were fantastic (could have had 3x more pita). Enjoyed the Turkish Pop (tasted like not to sweet flavored Sprite - orange, peach & pomegranate). The baklava was fine & the Turkish coffee was ok (hate how it’s not filtered/hate grounds) Service was excellent- chef stopped by our table at awkward time (with server) so really didn’t get to talk to. Restaurant was very cute and clean. Was very surprised how “loud” restaurant was. Very hard to hear people at my table & restaurant was overpacked nor were other guests “super loud talkers”. It was our 1st time having “Turkish” food but our favorite regional food is Mediterranean. Really enjoyed it - will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

This place is a sleeper. It was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. The service was excellent. The server/bartender was quite knowledgable and helpful. We started with a tuna tartar appetizer. It was well-plated and tasty with taro root chips. I had Copper River king salmon with buerre blanc sauce. At $30, it was a steal! I would have wished for more than two spears of asparagus to go with it, but the salmon was buttery soft and delicious. My wife had a ground meat stuffed eggplant. It had some Middle Eastern spices and was also tasty. We'd come back for more.

High end Turkish restaurant in Phinny Ridge. The dining room and decor was well done, first class. Menu included many options for red or white meat, or vegetarian. I would recommend for special occasions or if you want to treat yourself or others to a very nice meal.

We went here this past Saturday for my birthday dinner. The waitress we had and all the staff were very nice and the restaraunt itself was beautiful. When we got our food, the dishes looked beautiful! However when I cut into my steak, I noticed it was rare, and in some places I thought it was raw. I have added a picture of the steak to show how red it was still. I asked for medium, not rare and I did not feel comfortable eating it. I asked for it to be sent back, which is was, and I got it a few minutes later. It was barely cooked more. It seemed like the chef put it back on the grill just long enough to warm up my steak and took it back off. The steak was a little closer to medium rare now so I just accepted it and ate it. The flavor of the steak and the potatoes was amazing. I loved that. But I am pretty dissapointed with the cook of my steak.

Actually I do like the restaurant decor, simple style. The food: the carzer salad is a 4 Star just need a bit more lemon source; the flatbread is great almost perfect; the spaghetti is 3.8 Star, I think it is a bit too sweet and the source need to be a bit thicker. In general I would put a 4-4.5 Star for the food and restaurant itself. What brings down is the waitress, she never asked-us if we need peppers, never asked us if we need refill of water, which she asked the other two tables beside us several times. The manager eventually made up that by come check in with us. In general I would give a 3.5 Star.

Muhammara was excellent. Server was friendly. But, the other dishes were just ok, service was strangely slow at times, and when you factor in cost it’s just alright. Also you do get charged for extra crostini.

S

A few weeks back, I visited this place, and it's absolutely ideal for a date night, by the way. The service was flawless, but unfortunately, I found the food to be a bit underwhelming. Specifically, the chicken kabob had an unusual cook that didn't appeal to my taste. Perhaps I'll opt for something different when I go there again.

We went to Ada’s because my wife saw them featured on Evening Magazine highlighting that they served Manti. She has loved that dish since we first had it in Istanbul. Ada’s did not disappoint her. I had the Sac Kavurma which was delicious. So why not five stars? I have high expectations I guess. First, the cocktails were expensive, small, and extremely watered down. My Manhattan barely had any color to it when it normally should be an deep amber color. I’m offended to pay $14 for melted ice. Second, the dinner portions were meager. Even with an appetizer, I found myself eating bread and pita after the entrée because I was still hungry. Speaking of bread, we were charged $5 for cold hard bread. If a restaurant is going to charge you for bread, it should be listed on the menu as such, or at least the server should mention the cost when they offer it. Our server was friendly and I understand restaurants are having a difficult time with staffing, but I found myself searching the restaurant for her more often than I felt was necessary. Lastly, the final bite of my Sac Kavurma had a shred of metal in it. I felt something sharp and not the right texture in my mouth and pulled out a metal shaving. It may have been a piece from a metal scouring pad used on the serving wok. It made me wonder if I could have swallowed more of it earlier. Not a good feeling and disappointing for a $100+ meal for two. The restaurant’s response: dessert on the house. Wow, not even an apology from the chef.
