The Dilly Deli

Passed by but saw signage afterwards and decided to turn around because it was just too cute. Walking up to the restaurant there are plants everywhere. It’s such a delightful shack. Inside is a little cramped, especially with waiting customers. Only two workers working and they were obviously overwhelmed. Staff was not organized, which caused chaos between them. This place could be great if properly staffed, and customer service trained. Excellent food options on menu and it was good! I would recommend adding outdoor picnic tables for seating/eating options, since they have a gorgeous river flowing right behind them.

This is a great place to pick up lunch before hiking in Gorges State Park, or any of the surrounding hiking areas. We purchased sandwiches and yogurt parfaits, and our entire meal was delicious. They make the best sandwiches. We will come back again to try breakfast, and pick up sandwiches too.

I work in Rosman occasionally. I'm always on the lookout for new lunch spots that don't require a long drive. My coworkers have suggested Dilly Deli several times. I figured I'd give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. I've eaten at Dilly Deli twice so far, and it's been great both times! The sandwiches are good and there's a variety to choose from. It's clean and organized. There's a great view outside. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and fast. Overall, it's a great little spot. Both ladies working today were super welcoming and sweet. Per their recommendation, I tried their special, an egg salad BLT. It was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend stopping by and giving it, or any of their other sandwiches, a try! You won't leave disappointed!

Such a gem! Great atmosphere, the lady was incredibly sweet. The food is AMAZING. We got a frittata and a sausage and gravy bowl. It was so much food for the price. Great place to stop!

What a lovely place! My partner and I were camping nearby when we were recommended to visit the little blue sandwich shop (aka the Dilly Deli!) ~ glad we did!!! Being vegetarians, we got a fresh Green Magic sandwich, delightful homemade tomato soup, the best pasta salad I’ve ever had! Plus the necessary accompaniments of chips, a pickle spear, and soda! Yum! Not only was the food superb, but so were the ladies working there and the vibe/aesthetic of the Dilly Deli all together. 🌀💐🙂 Would recommend!!

We went adventuring down the French Broad River with Tubular Tubing yesterday, then followed it up with some delicious sandwiches from the friendliest ladies at Dilly Deli. Try the Reuben. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife, niece and I went for a hike nearby and saw on the drive in and the building and name made us wanna stop on the way home. We could not have dreamed it be any better, phenomenal food and the 2 women who own it were amazing and so friendly, the food came quickly and it was amazing. One of the best deli sandwiches I’ve had and the desserts were flawless! If you’re ever remotely close or in need of a pre- or post-hike meal, you won’t find a better spot than The Dilly Deli!

We got the veggie sandwich and Oh my goodness was it delicious. I've had my fair share of sandwich as a vegetarian and I wish other places we're even half as a good as this shop. I will be back many more times!

The bread is delicious, and the sandwiches are large and packed with fresh ingredients. My wife had the California Dreamin' sandwich, and I had the Reuben. My Reuben was the best I've had, and I've tried a lot. My wife raved about the bread and the flavor of her sandwich. We both got the potato salad, which was homemade and also delicious. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be sorry.

The sandwiches are very very good. Also the potato salad was good. The service was excellent. Both the ladies were very personable and friendly. Next time we come this way we will be sure to come back. I want some of the roasted tomato soup next and a grilled cheese sandwich. We also enjoyed the lemon pound cake

My husband picked up lunch for us and omg the best sandwich I've ever had. Stop in there, it's a very clean deli and the sweetest people you'd ever meet. They do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Best family owned business with the best food ever. Stop in there, you will thank me later. I'll definitely be back. Cute name too, Dilly Deli .Eat there with a view of the river, so gorgeous !!!

I've driven past the Dilly Deli a few times since it opened, and decided to stop today because I was in the mood for a sandwich. I was not disappointed! This is a lovely shop with a beautiful view and great prices. The owner is really nice as well. It's the perfect lunch spot for the location. I'll definitely go back!
