We celebrated our wedding at the Hotel Moderno, from the aperitif to breakfast the next day... Everything was perfect from the moment we set foot in the hotel... from the kindness and expertise of the staff, to the attention to detail, the fantastic and elegant location, the amazing food, the delicious drinks... We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate this special day! A heartfelt thank you to Ervin, who supported and put up with us throughout the entire planning process, even in the months leading up to it, and for fulfilling our every wish. THANK YOU!!

I've known Hotel Moderno for many years, but never before have I found it to be a gem in Serina. The atmosphere is very welcoming, professional, and full of energy. The food is exquisite, prepared with top-quality ingredients, and not to mention the excellent value. The drinks are equally superb!! My compliments to the owner and all the young and competent staff!!
I stayed at this hotel for the 2025 spontaneous singing festival held in Serina. The staff was truly kind, professional, and helpful. Excellent management and location. A varied breakfast buffet is offered. The attention to detail, which lends elegance to the hotel's elegant decor, is admirable.

Serina is a nice tiny little village on the mountains of Val Brembana, and as all little village gems on the Alps it has its top cozy and warm-feeling restaurant for those cold snowy winter nights and also sunny summer days. In fact Hotel Moderno has a fully renewed Restaurant and Bar, with a very elegant and comfortable dining room with plenty of glass windows overlooking the city square for winter dinners, and a dehors for summer drinks and aperitifs. The young owners are very nice and smart, they can serve you very good cocktails and appetizers as well as full lunch or dinners. So it's perfect to warm you back up after the skiing day in winter, or a drink with your friends on a summer sunset. You'll only be surprise to get so much quality in food and beverages at such a small price.

Stopped at this cool wine bar for a break from the heat on our ride to Presolana. Great outdoor terrace with plenty of shaded tables and a nice chill soundtrack. Isaac our server was very friendly and spoke very good English. Very good cappuccino and ham & cheese piadina sandwich. There's also seating inside with a great selection of liquor at the bar. There's a hotel on the upper floors which would be a great place to stay in the winter near to the area's many ski hills. Safe travels 🇨🇦

Modern hotel, but not for the rooms that are still furnished as they were when it was built. The bathroom is small and dated, the fan is very dirty. The room has a TV the size of a tablet. This morning I was hoping for breakfast, but unfortunately that was also terrible. Bread, toast, and croissants were placed on a plate without even knowing what was inside because they weren't even labeled. We didn't know what was inside, and what if anyone was allergic? Only two choices of jam, either cherry or apricot. Yogurt and for savory, only cooked ham and only one type of cheese. What can I say? 100 euros a night for a 3-star hotel, which in my opinion isn't worth it! I'll try other hotels, but this one is a no-go!
It would be nice if you have a good communication with the cleaning crew and checking the experied dates of the food before you serve to the guests. Thankyou
Ok so starting with the good things:- 1. The decor of the bar&restaurant is really nice, modern yet cosy. 2. They do an excellent aperitivo. The spritz was delicious and had some tasty nibbles to go along with it. 3. The staff are great, really friendly and welcoming. Good service. Now, we stayed for a night in the hotel with our 4 year old son and we weren’t impressed. It seems the hotel is a bit of an afterthought. There was mould on the walls in the room which I don’t think is acceptable when you’re letting rooms for people to stay in. We asked for an iron and they didn’t have one which again, if you’re serious as a hotel business it’s helpful to have these items as guests may ask for them. Thirdly, there seemed to be some sort of party/rave that continued into the early hours of the morning and disturbed our sleep. The shower was also disappointing as there was no water pressure so the water was just dripping out. Overall not a bad place if you’re going to just have a drink or food but if we were staying more than a night we would have changed to a different hotel especially as we were travelling with a child.
We used this hotel and restaurant through a smartbox. We were not offered a welcome drink as expected. The rooms are very spartan and the bathroom extremely small. As for the restaurant, the dishes are really poorly cared for and rather banal in their preparation. Infinite the real big limit is the location: you are in the center, ok, but if like us you are unfortunate enough to stay on a Saturday night, know that below you there will be chaos. A level of movida chaos that I have rarely seen even in Milan: kids screaming, loud music until late at night and no one who intervenes. It was not a relaxing vacation, we would not recommend it.
