Don’t waste your money going here!!! Waiter who took the food and drink orders was extremely rude. Food came out too quick and was luke warm. Charged 6€ for tap water! Then a charge of 2.50€p/p just to sit down and have a small crappy piece of bread. They charged 100€ for 2 lasagnes and 2 pizzas + drinks, absolutely NOT worth it!!!

The Waitress was very nice and the location is good, but unfortunately the food wasn't. Everything of our 26 € mixed Fish-plate was overcooked/burned... Side-Potatoes had a weird oily taste :/

Not worth it—save your money and your patience. After chatting with my Italian boyfriend—whose family comes to Sestri every summer—we realized just how badly my three American friends and I got scammed here. We were charged for a so-called “pre-dinner” appetizer that consisted of literally four dry cubes of bread, a bowl of cheese, and a bottle of olive oil. No plates. Nothing to eat it with. I ordered the Caprese salad, and I’m convinced I could’ve made it better in a dorm kitchen. Basic, bland, and not worth the price. To make it worse, the waitress treated us like we were a burden—rolling her eyes at us like she was doing us a favor by showing up to the table. Fix your attitude and your makeup before coming to serve customers like that. We ended up dropping 70 euros for what should’ve cost maybe 50—max—for three underwhelming plates. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Total ripoff.

Tasty „Gluten Free“ Pizza, not so tasty was the tummy cramps for the next 3 hours. Dont go there if you have a gluten intolerance!!!!!!!

Worst restaurant experience in a very long time. We ordered 2 pizzas from the Pizza Speciale section of the menu. Expecting them to be especially good. As our starters were served, one of the two pizzas was served literally 10 seconds later. No timing whatsoever. To our surprise, the pizza crust was so hard it was impossible to cut through with a sharp steak knife. Completely different from all other pizzas we have ever experienced, and the only option was to break it to pieces by hand. Still the crust was so hard that every bite was a struggle to say the least. The topping, however, was all right. But served on top of a super hard crust, it didn´t really matter. I called for the waitress and explained politely that the crust was way too hard both to cut and to chew, and she replied that the pizzas from the Speciale section had a completely different crust than the rest of the pizzas. Apparently it was supposed to be so hard that you couldn´t cut through it with a knife. Nowhere on the menu is a description of this significant difference from a normal pizza crust to be seen. I´ve had my share of pizzas through the years, and never have I heard of a rock hard pizza crust made on purpose. I find it very unlikely that anyone would actually ask for a pizza crust so hard you can´t cut it. But this was the explanation we got. No apologies, no attempt to rectify the situation. Just plain and simple poor customer service on top of the even poorer food experience. We quickly asked for the bill, which by no means reflected the quality of the meal, and after asking one last time if they had any interest at all in making customers happy, the waitress gave us a breathtaking discount of 2,70 EUR. Just avoid this place and save your money and good mood for another establishment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update/reply to Olta/owner: I appreciate your apology, but unfortunately it doesn´t help much. We called for the waitress immediately after the pizzas were served and we had tried our best to cut them. When we described the problem to the waitress, including showing her that the pizzas were inedible, she became very assertive and told us that the speciale pizzas were supposed to be like that. That they had a completely different crust from a regular pizza. I asked her politely to resolve the problem, expecting her to take the rock hard pizzas and replace them with pizzas we could actually eat. To my surprise, she kept arguing and gaslighting us. I had enough of her unwillingness to resolve the obvious mistake made by the kitchen, and immediately asked for the bill. While waiting for the bill, my girlfriend ate most of the topping on one of the pizzas. At this point, the waitress had made it clear that no mistakes were made by your establishment, and that we had to fully pay for the inedible pizzas. Thus, eating the topping from one of the pizzas, comes nowhere near signalling that we were somewhat accepting this disastrous meal. Your claim that we had a Napoli pizza is just nonsense. We were never offered any other pizzas, and frankly we would not be interested in such an offer if it wasn´t presented to us immediately after we made the complaint. A pizza restaurant serving rock hard pizza crusts and insisting that this is how it is supposed to be, doesn´t really build any customer trust. The same goes for presenting wrongful claims about the customers having eaten another dish. I think it is fair to say that lying on top of a bad performance doesn´t help. Lastly, I strongly disagree that the waitress had any language issues. She communicated perfectly well in English. Hence, the biggest problem, besides the hard pizzas, was her unwillingness to resolve the situation in the only acceptible way. I can only guess that this robotic way of dealing with a complaint, comes from the management.

Not very good. Don't know about the pizza. But the food was underwhelming to say the least. Mixed vegetables was distasteful, potatoes was soggy in oil, fries without salt. The salmon tasted old/poor. Overall out worst experience over the last week's in Italy.

Horrible experience straight throught the visit. They we’re rude and not friendly. The Food (pasta with seafood) tasted nothing, we finally got the two pizzas after they forgot our order for 45 min they where soggy and the bottom undercooked. When we mentioned it the lady in her grey sweatpants (who even has that as a waitress) she was we’re rude and questioned us who we even was that mentioned such a thing. A classic tourist trap. Don’t visit, straight trought rubbish!
