Pho Sheffield

My friend and I discovered Pho by chance, instantly drawn in. Couldn't have made a better choice. Service and food were first class and though a Monday night, the atmosphere was quietly buzzy. Delightful.

Visited on my wife’s birthday, there we six of us in total, we received a very warm welcome, everyone was so friendly. It was the first time my wife and I had eaten Vietnamese food. Our waiter Nathan was exceptionally friendly and helpful giving us good advice about the food. Would 100% recommend. We can’t wait to go back

Great food, ask the waiters if you are not sure what you want, they are very friendly and extremely helpful. We have had a fantastic evening.

My friend and I had a lovely meal here. The food is so fresh, tasty and nourishing and there are loads of clearly labelled options for me as a vegetarian. There is a very chilled atmosphere which was perfect for being able to have a good catch up with a friend. Shri was so kind and helpful and was very knowledgeable about the food when we had a couple of questions.

First time trying Pho food and it has become one of my favourite places to dine. Food is super tasty and service is very quick. First time that i try the soup in a restaurant and i finish my food asking for more!! Crisp baby squids are super nice! Highly recommend for this place their rating is very good in all their restaurants.

We ate at the Cardiff City centre Pho. We didn’t have to make a reservation and the wait time for food was quick. Our server, Nathan, was great and attentive and helped us with our menu choices. We ordered squid and a chicken and beef curry and a rice bowl. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food.

Candy and Flo are absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, they made us feel so welcome. Their friendliness and attention to detail really elevated the whole dining experience. Not only was the Vietnamese food fresh and full of flavor, but Candy and Flo went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. They were attentive, helpful with recommendations, and genuinely kind. It’s rare to find service that feels this warm and personal. Candy and Flo truly make this place special. We’ll definitely be back!

We originally had another restaurant in mind for the evening, but my friend suggested this place as she was keen to visit again after her last experience. We were a bit unsure at first, but once we arrived, the ambience was lovely and it quickly became one of our favourite places. We ordered quite a lot of food and enjoyed everything. The chicken rice was especially delicious. Would definitely recommend !

Went on a Sunday night and plenty of tables available. Staff were super friendly (our server Shri was great at checking in on us and also giving us tips on how best to eat some of the dishes). Food was great and many veggie/vegan options available. They also have alcohol free drink options and some really good lemonades.

We were not sure what to expect but Lola, Liam and Shri provided service with a smile and were super helpful, explaining everything to us. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Bun Beef and the Pho Brisket was both tasty and filling. In fact the food and service were so good we know we’ll be back for another visit.

Had a great experience at Pho tonight. Nuke was our server and was super helpful recommending dishes and providing great service throughout the night.

I've never eaten in a place so often and left it so long to review. We have eaten here at least a dozen times, maybe more, it's so many I've lost count. Firstly, the food is amazing, beef brisket Pho is a great antidote to busy, modern day life. It always clears my sinuses and I feel great after eating this delicious, aromatic dish. My better half is more adventurous and tries different dishes. The portion is so big it's impossible to finish. There's also generous amounts of fresh herbs and chilli oil, fresh chilli's and garlic, Siracha and fish sauce on the table so you can adjust the dish according to your palette. The service is very quick, the staff are lovely and very good at making you feel relaxed. The place is a good size, no cramped seating, lots of space to feel comfortable in and lots of variety of seating, from, booths, to chairs and high stool/chairs. The food is great value too, I think the price is low for the great quality food that they serve. I really recommend Pho.

me and my girlfriend have been coming in every week since September and (usually!) order the tofu and veg rice bowl (it's the best thing on the menu!!!) we love the quality of the food, the friendly staff (especially on a Monday evening!) and how quick service is :) must give an honourable mention to the veggie crispy spring rolls!

Food is lovely and the staff are very friendly. We’ve been before and we’ll be back. Mike was particularly good but everyone is nice.

Wow, I had such a great time at this place! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the special pho. Mike was super friendly and really helped us navigate the menu with his awesome recommendations. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, and I’m definitely coming back for more tasty pho noodles!

First time dining in a Pho (well for me over five years) the menu has lots of options, I was a bit worried as the last time I went wasn't great however my partner was keen to try it. I had the original curry with tofu with a side of califlower rice. It was actually very tasty. My partner really enjoyed his meal and spring rolls and my MIL enjoyed hers too. The staff were very nice. Everywhere was clean. The toilets were nice as well. Don't think I will be rushing to get back as it isn't really my type of cuisine, however I am glad I tried it again and I know I have options if I need to in the future.

Our server Chi was so sweet, was very informative and provided overall good customer service. Food came fast and was good however portion sizes weren’t crazy, mostly broth. Good experience nonetheless. Cocktails are strong and good for the price.

Really great food, never had a bad meal. Nathan was pleasant and friendly, great with our son too. Service was slightly slow but they'd had an accident in the kitchen and gave us a free starter.

I have been to Pho several times now and the overall experience is always excellent. The staff are lovely, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is just right. Sometimes it is a bit understaffed for how busy it is, but that is no fault of the staff themselves. The vegan options are extensive and every plant based person would find something they like here. The staff were very accommodating of my complex dietary requirements and I ended up having a rice bowl. It was absolutely delicious, very flavourful and the portions were very generous. I have since recommended Pho to several friends since it really does mean a lot to me when a restaurant is kind and takes the time to understand my needs and come up with something I can eat. The summer rolls are a must every time - I can't get enough of them! Thanks :)

I tried the Pho Chicken today and absolutely loved it. The texture of the rice noodles was fantastic, and the chicken broth tasted like it was homemade. The green herbs they provided separately were all fresh. Additionally, the bowl itself was a collagen booster, and I'm sure it helps you feel better when you're feeling under the weather😉

Fabulous food & even better service. Nathan our server was brilliant - lovely manner & service . Rhea also was great - especially with helping us chose the right wine for our meal. Pho Sheffield is consistently great.

Pho is one of our favourite restaurants for last 5 years. Great quality food, great taste, and variety to pick from for meet eaters or vegetrian. Nice and fresh smoothies or beers. Stuff is very friendly. Yesterday we were severed by lovely Chi (: but all the stuff is very nice. This way we want to say thank you ❤ and see you next time (:

A quiet & cosy vibe tonight for dinner! The food always surpasses high expectations and that was also paired with great customer service from Lola! She showed great knowledge of the menu and helped me choose and customize my noodle soup. (Which turned out lovely!) Lola was attentive throughout the meal and even seeing her with other tables she was serving, that high level of service was maintained. Pho never fails! 🍜✨

Our server Lola was so nice! They made us feel very welcome and when certain items were missing they gave great accommodations and recommendations. Would come back just for them!

First visit here and it didn’t disappoint. Fresh tasty food with lots of vegan options. We were served by Nathan who was really helpful and friendly and had great knowledge of the menu. We will be back!

Quiet evening out, first time at a Pho restaurant, food was nice but the noodle soups weren't really up to our expectations. Our server Victoria was really polite, friendly and helpful. Victoria explained about the herbs and condiments that came with our meals. The coconut ice cream was the best I had ever tasted though 😋 so all good.

We visited on New Year’s Day as a large group to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, we were split into two separate groups and had to sit apart, which was disappointing. The food itself was good, but it took around an hour to arrive. That said, Nathan’s service was genuinely lovely and really helped improve our experience. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome despite the issues.

We usually love Pho and we came today for my partners birthday with some friends. Unfortunately we left feeling forgotten and frustrated. The person who took our drinks order was good, he put the order through, was polite, offered their recommendations and our drinks arrived speedily. But when we ordered our meal with a different member of staff, this is where things started to go wrong. We got our starters with minimal fuss, but then we were waiting a while for the dirty plates to be removed and it was relatively busy but not so busy that this would be expected. But there was no sign of our mains, and a table that were seated after us, who ordered got their starters after ours but their mains before us. So I spoke to a waiter as it seemed that our order had been forgotten, and after I spoke to them our food came like 10 seconds after. I know I shouldn't complain that our food came quickly, but coming so fast, it did pose the question of whether our food had been stood waiting for someone to bring it to us? When it came, the food was nice but we also didn't get the large wooden soup spoons so we had to share (between couples). We took our dog so we had to nip out for her to go for a wee, and our friends got the bill etc. But there was a 12.5% service charge, we had a voucher for free spring rolls which didn't get redeemed even though we mentioned this when ordering so due to the frustration and readiness to leave this was not redeemed. So we got charged full price along with a tip and at no point did we receive a sorry for the delay or anything. So it felt like a massive let down by one of our favourite places.

Saturday 1/3/2026. Service was quite slow, there were only 2 or 3 staff on front of house that we could see, 1 on the bar and 2 waiters/waitresses. It was 30m before they took our order and the restaurant was only half full. This was not helped because they were also supplying deliveroo at the same time. Sadly when our starters arrived 2 of them were wrong and so we waited another 10m while these were prepared. The food was reasonably priced, well prepared and tasty however. I was debating whether to pay the automatic inclusion of the 12.5% service charge, (in the end I paid it as the female waitress was knowledgeable and competent). It would be better to make the service charge an optional extra. We will probably try elsewhere next time.

The food was pretty good. We had the summer rolls with both shrimp and “this isn’t chicken”, a rice curry, a chicken pho and wok noodles. All very good, especially the curry. Some interesting beverage choices as well. What I didn’t appreciate at all, is that there was a secret “optional” service charge included in the bill that wasn’t communicated in advance. I find it extremely unethical and I won’t be going back!!

A very disappointing meal, the service was very slow to begin with, taking a while to order our food / drinks. We also felt there was a lack of communication as to whether or not the starters would come out at the same time as the mains which is what we usually get. As well as this we were seated for over an hour after having our starters waiting for our mains to come out whilst other parties who had entered after us were being served. Following this when it came to being served our food the waitress seemed fairly rude didn’t make us feel comfortable within the restaurant. The food itself was rather bland and disappointing compared to what we are used to from the restaurant.

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered three kids’ meals, which clearly come with a main and a drink. When paying, the drinks were suddenly charged at full price. The server at checkout was rude, dismissive, and unapologetic, blaming us for something that wasn’t our fault. It felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge customers. The main courses were correctly sized for kids, but the drinks magically became “regular size” on the bill. No receipt was provided at the time of ordering, so there was no way to check until paying. The food itself was fine, but this dishonest billing practice and the terrible attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. I strongly do not recommend this place—unless you want to be treated unfairly and overcharged. (Additionally, there was a 12.5% service charge that I wasn’t aware of. With such poor attitude and a terrible demeanor, I am extremely unwilling to pay this 12.5% fee, but I was forced to pay it)

Took £12.50 'optional service charge' without mentioning it. Only noticed this when I had left the restaurant. Would give a zero if possible. Due to the service charge not being mention up front. Feel robbed and find this very under hand. Also very loud music was being played next to the seating area, and could not hear each others conversation. Won't be going back.

Me and my partner arrived for our 9pm booking. We had been looking forward to this for a while as our last visit, food was lovely. However, we arrived 10 minutes early and just under ten minutes later we still hadn’t been seated. Nobody acknowledged we were there despite waitresses walking straight past us. We saw people stood chatting behind the bar and one waitress running around doing everything. After waiting all this time with no acknowledgment and decided to leave.
