Ristorante piccolino ma ben curato, personale super carino e disponibile. Pici fatti a mano incredibili, ma il piatto forte rimane la Fiorentina, impeccabile! Molto buoni anche i dolci fatti da loro, tiramisù al limoncello da provare.

Miglior Fiorentina della mia vita! Son stato a cena con degli amici, abbiam preso le tagliatelle al ragù di Cinta Senese (molto buono) e poi la Fiorentina, CLAMOROSA! Abbiamo poi concluso con un classico tiramisù, fatto in casa. Proprietari molto gentili e simpatici.

Ristorante tipico toscano, siam partiti bene con un bel tagliere misto di salumi e formaggi, ma il pezzo forte è stata la Fiorentina di Chianina, cotta alla perfezione. Torneremo di sicuro!

You have to walk two minutes outside the walls of Siena to this wonderful restaurant with what we considered to be the best pasta and the famous Florentine stake. It was massive and awesome! Back a second time because the food here is so good! Husband is the Chef and wife is the front of house. She's German and speaks the language as well as English and Italian, of course. Pasta is homemade, meat courses are spectacular, produce is home grown.

They also served a tiramisu with limoncello, which was unique and something you don’t often find in North America. The loveliest restaurant in Siena. My husband and I visited this restaurant two years ago when we were dating, and on our honeymoon trip to Italy, which included one night in Siena, this was the restaurant we chose to revisit. We loved the family running this restaurant (their daughter makes all the desserts). TLDR: what to order - the home made pasta is out of this world, the steak is their star and the rotating medley of desserts are the undeniable cherry on top. Last time we went we split two pastas, one steak, one dessert, one bottle of wine. It was perfect for a couple! 10/10 don’t even think about it - just go here!!

We have been to Siena several times over the years and this a firm favourite during our trips. At least one dinner and sometimes two per stay. Family run and you might meet all of them in the evening. Great food and variety on the menu. The Florentine steaks look mighty! Britte (co owner) has a great sense of humour and pops backwards and forwards to check that all is well during the meal. Great wine selection. Just beside Santa Caterina car park and very close to the escalator. Firmly recommend.

Wow!! This place was amazing. Easy to get to with convenient parking across the street. The family that runs this osteria is very kind and helpful. They really care and you feel like you are at home. Serving was generous, beef steak super tender & tasty! Location is most strategic to the ONLY functioning charger for our electric vehicle (Stadia chargers are broken) right next to a public parking area next to the entrance of the old city of Siena. Eat here where the locals eat, while charging your EV! Britta the owner was very warm & lovely, gave us tips about parking 😀

One of the few places that specify where their beef comes from. Since my family were looking for an authentic bistecca with chianina beef, we chose Sotto Le Fonti for our dinner. We reserved a table by whatsapp which they were very responsive. The atmosphere is very warm and homely filled with laughter and chatter from friendly locals. The lady owner is so welcoming of guests. She makes sure to accomodate customers as best as she can. She even showed us her favorite spot where the sunset light hits only the castle which creates an interesting landscape. She understands english and we had no trouble communicating. We ordered the ravioli, a bistecca alla fiorentina with chianina beef and she even kindly took our request to have pici pasta with their pesto sauce. We ended our meal with their limoncello tiramisu which was very light and a perfect way to end a heavy meal. Everything was so delicous and it really hit the spot for us. The lovely lady owner even called a taxi for us since she noticed we were struggling to find one. This was by far our best dinner experience during our 2 week vacation.

Best meal ive had in Siena Simple food done VERY well. Which is the Tuscany way. All local ingredients and seasonal. Chef knows his craft and his partner Britta who runs the front of house is truly lovely. Don't take my word for it . Take a wander down the hill and eat like a local.

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo a cena. Ci ha accolto la proprietaria che gestisce l'osteria insieme al marito. Entrambi più volte sono venuti al tavolo, la cura degli ospiti è un valore aggiunto che fa la differenza. Anche la ragazza che ha servito al tavolo è stata carina ed efficiente. Il locale è molto caratteristico, ricorda le vecchie osterie. Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto bene e, avendo letto le recensioni, posso confermare che tutto corrisponde a ciò che viene detto. I primi davvero buoni e la fiorentina che è stata divorata in poco tempo, tutto al giusto prezzo. La vicinanza al parcheggio permette di arrivare in auto e sostare senza pensieri. Alla fine la proprietaria ci ha offerto grappa e vin santo. Consiglio vivamente di mangiare qui se si viene a Siena, andrete via davvero soddisfatti.

Fuori dal centro storico, per questo poco turistico e frequentato prevalentemente da gente del posto. Consigliato a chi vuole provare la cucina toscana. La zuppa ribollita veramente buona. Le pappardelle al ragù bianco non mi hanno particolarmente entusiasmato, ma le fettuccine al ragù rosso molto più saporite. Purtroppo non abbiamo provato la fiorentina, ma le bistecche che lo chef serviva personalmente ai tavoli sembravano proprio squisite! Un motivo per ritornare!!! Personale gentilissimo e cordiale.

I pici sembravano fatti in casa, presi cacio e pepe, il pepe si sentiva troppo , il cacio poco. La tagliata era una carne morbissima. La crostata di ciliegie troppo dolce. Prima di arrivare a Siena, dove abbiamo trascorso una piacevole giornata da turisti, avevo già deciso di concedermi una "fiorentina" e, per evitare sorprese, ho prenotato in un locale che prometteva carne di qualità. L'accoglienza è stata cordiale, segno di un’organizzazione attenta e rispettosa dei clienti. L’ambiente era piacevole, con un’atmosfera calda e tradizionale ma senza eccessi. Ho atteso con curiosità la Chianina, che non ha deluso. Accompagnata da un ottimo vino locale, è stata una cena che ha rispettato pienamente le aspettative. Il servizio è stato puntuale e discreto, mai invadente ma sempre pronto a soddisfare le esigenze dei clienti. E al momento del conto, il prezzo si è rivelato onesto, considerando la qualità del cibo e l’esperienza complessiva.

Ottimo il cibo, l'atmosfera ed il servizio... Antipasto, degustazione di formaggi, deliziosa. Come primo piatto avevo preso una zuppa alla zucca, semplicemente squisita, consigliatissima; Come secondo non poteva mancare la fiorentina (5€/etto), cottura media, buonissima da provare!!! Contorno le patate al forno, buonissime.

Purtroppo non ho letto tutte le recensioni perché se avessi fatto più attenzione alle negative non sarei mai andato. Prezzo troppo elevato per la qualità del cibo. Preso un hamburger per 22€ immangiabile, secco con del pane duro e due patatine contate, una tagliata da 24€ con una porzione nettamente scarsa per il prezzo. Il personale si è permesso di parlare in modo negativo su clienti che non si sono fermati a cena.
