Really delicious pizza made in a true wood-burning oven. We ordered the seasonal salad, which came with persimmon, pomegranate, and delicata squash; so fresh and flavorful. We paired it with a pepperoni pizza and it was perfect. The inside seating area is tiny, and you order at the counter before they bring the pizza out to your table. They do have a large outdoor patio, but it was way too cold to enjoy on the night we visited. Highly recommend and would definitely visit again!
We had a really standout time here during our trip to California. After accommodating our larger group on the fly, each one of us were very impressed with our meals and experience. The place is small with an indoor section that also opens to a counter that can accommodate people on the “in”side and the “out”side, with an additional outdoor seating area running alongside the building where we sat. We each tried different versions of their wood fired pizzas on the regular menu as well as an oxtail pizza on special, and one of us also got the meaty “WTF” burger. After coming out very quickly, each variety of pizza seemed rich, balanced in flavours, and well thought out whether it was more of a classic style or one of Rob, the owner’s creations like the spicy, lightly sweet, and slightly funky (in a good way) “Bill” pizza. The toppings were generous and spread close enough to the edge of the crust so you weren’t left feeling like you were just eating flatbread. The crust was the good kind of crispy and chewy, lightly charred on the outside, and soft on the inside. Our foodie friend who had the “WTF” burger said it was one of the best he’s had, with large quantity of additional meats accompanying the medium rare burger. Rob took time to answer any questions we had and seemed to be passionate about what he does. He also made recommendations for different wineries to check out during the remainder of our stay, and he wasn’t too proud to clean tables and do the duties that the rest of the staff also did. After such a good experience, we ended up coming back to grab food for our last night in town before travelling home!
Wow! This place is great, like really great! Not sure I have had counter service food be so great! The roasted beet salad was delicious and fresh. We also enjoyed the baked beans, unbelievably good like cassoulet not Boston baked sugary ones. And the wood fired pizzas were great! Next time we will go just for the porchetta which looked amazing! Great beer selection as well!
My fiancée and I just moved to the area and have been trying to find a good pizza spot. We loved the pepperoni pizza and can’t wait to come into the restaurant to eat, instead of just ordering delivery. Quality and taste were 10/10!
AMAZING pizzas, appetizers, wheelchair accessible bathroom. Indoor outdoor and half n half! Heaters, wine, spritz's. Such a phenomenal eating experience. Pizzas made with double zero ORGANIC pizza dough. Everything was quality. Old movies on the TV, great music and ambiance. A+
Their food and service was amazing! They have really great vegan cheese, so make any pizza the way that you will enjoy!
Came from out of town. They have some amazing food. Gluten free option is available here. Crust is to die for. Friendly service, great environment makes this a great place. I highly recommend it.
Sooooo good prawn, chili pizza + baccala fritters and Avocado citrus salad. One of the best MD dinners, no fancy just excellent food😋
We went for my son's 18th birthday. Plenty of delicious food and such an easy space to hang out in.
Been here twice, first time was so good we planned a second trip with il Fuoco as a dinner destination. The food is excellent and the staff are incredibly helpful. Family loves it and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely delicious, cute outdoor counter where you can sit with your dog. Service was outstanding...very nice people!
We love this cozy spot with great food, service, and ambiance. The ingredients are at the peak of freshness and the menu is seasonal and creative.
Loved this pizza and the outside and inside of the place. Loved the attentive service PLUS GOOD WINE!!
Visiting from Canada, this place accommodated our group of 8 with open arms. Food wise, the burger was Phenomenal (one of the best I’ve had in my life) and as a meat smoking enthusiast, you can tell this place knows how to layer flavours with smoke and fire. The pizza we got was the chicken pesto which was also full of flavour and had the details of having pine nuts on top. The ambience is very relaxed inside and out. We’re hoping to make it back here before we leave.
Il Fucco we love you and we are so so sorry to hear you’re closing! Our family has been eating and enjoying your pizza for years—it’s 1000% the best in sonoma and maybe anywhere. You’ve brought us so much joy through cheese and the perfect crust, thank you. We hope you’re on to great and delicious things! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
Delicious pizza!! We got the margarita, chicken pesto, and sausage. Each pizza had so much flavor and the crust was phenomenal
Absolutely delicious! Recommend the “Bill” pizza and the Bedrock Zinfandel! *Warning* the Bill pizza is spicy so if you don’t like spicy, maybe steer clear. And don’t be afraid of the dates, they balance out the spice very well!

Mixed Bag 🎒 This place used to be a bbq restaurant. Complete with the large bbqs and smokers outside, it certainly was delicious. Fast forward, the owner turned it into a pizza restaurant with some other choices like a few bbq items and burgers. We tried the sausage pizza and Rancho Gordo beans, salad, and deserts. The pizza consistency was a little on the wet side. It had purple baby potatoes along with the fenel sausage and cheese. The Rancho Beans I'm afraid did not go so well for me. They were served hot, and they had a soggy consistency. The salad was perfect. It seemed that the pizza and the beans were low on salt. The deserts were also a mixed bag. The cookie was the same recipe as when the place was a bbq restaurant, it was delicious. The pie to me had a lot of cinnamon, that didn't bother me, but I was surprised to find the whipped cream was unsweetened. So my take on the items were as follows 1. Sausage Pizza - Good, maybe delete the purple baby potato and replace with red pearl onion. 2. Salad- Delicious no change 3. Rancho Beans - maybe didn't work for me, soggy consistency 4. Cookie- Perfect no change 5. Pie- Maybe add sweet whipped cream. 6. Service- Excellent ! 7. Atmosphere- Next to Hwy 12. But overall Excellent !

Good but not great pizza. Taste is fine but the overall package is lacking a bit. The dough needs a little more flavour and chew, and perhaps being a little more well done would help it keep its structure instead of being floppy/soggy. Certainly serviceable if you're in a pinch or don't want to travel!
Update they are closing so if it is still open, get in before it goes!. Good Pizza, ordered by website, it was ready as expected. The upper part tasted great it had good toastiness of the bottom pie. Sauce was not acidic and had good flour that's not heavy on your stomach. It shows quality choising.their ingredients. They did have red pepper flakes but not garlic powder to sprinkle on top of my pizza. They also seem to use a blend of cheese on the pie to contribute with better overall flavors. A total delight to enjoy!
Not a good place to go if you want to have a conversation, plenty of traffic noise. Meatballs was $12.00 for 4 bite size meatballs. Left still hungry.
