We left Napa at 3am because we had to be at Boony Doone Winery down near Santa Cruz at 8 to rough in a Slagheaper's Wringabout to help in the distillation of the the new brandy still, they'll be making Brandy Doone Spirits, the little brother of Bonny. I let Tyron Asorrass drive so I could get a little sleep and told him to wake me when we got near Santa Cruz. Well, this Brain Surgeon woke me all right as we came into Sonora! Don't ask me how he did it because I'm still trying to figure it out myself. The good thing is we stopped right at the Barrow's Cafe & Grill, and had an Amazing breakfast! ☆☆☆☆☆

Barrows is a staple of Sonora, and for good reason! The food is great, and the same every time! And there is something in the water at burrows that makes all the staff excellent! They have the best staff in the county! ❤️ Barrows! Sarah is one of our favorite servers of all time.

My Daughter and I came here for lunch and obviously our eyes were bigger than our bellies. Nonetheless, this goes to show there are too many delicious options to choose from at this restaurant. You can choose breakfast, lunch or dinner and can’t go wrong. Everyone is really kind and welcoming. The food portions are generous as you can see from the photo. The food is really tasty too. We could not decide between breakfast or lunch so we got both and shared. Bring the family to enjoy a meal where everyone will be satisfied. This location is super easy to find and there is plenty of safe and free parking. Come get a great meal and really friendly local service. Enjoy and the hard part will be making a decision.

Tried the grilled tuna sandwich and by the look on my face and head nod in the video you can see that I approve. Waitress was excellent and managed all of her tables very well. We had a great experience and will be back when we come to sonora next time!

Had a very pleasant experience. My family and I were in the area and for Mexican food we always go to cocina Michoacan’s but we were craving All American Breakfast. Perfect choice. Great service. Lots of portions had to take home some. Totally will be back. Not to mentions the homemade pies.

I wish they had perkos all over the us. My 1st time there for dinner tonight. I got a cheap deal 3 sides 1 entree $12- i picked salad, bbq meatloaf, mashed potatoes, brownie. Heavy dense brownie im eating in my hotel room now. Yum. Mashed potatoes real and creamy. If you order w sauce. Might want to put it on the side. Also came w foccocia texas toast. The cornbread needs sugar to be better. It wasnt very food. But damn the croutons were buttery and melt in your mouth. Im gonna eat there for breakfast probably. Also got chicken pot pie. Barrow's has a large menu with something for everyone. The service was very friendly and prompt. We stayed an extra hour after lunch to go over some printed material, and the servers continued with friendly service and the offer of drinks. No pressure to vacate the table whatsoever.

Barrow's is a family style diner. The staff is always friendly and prompt to attend to the customers. The food is delicious and is one of the only places in the county you can get a traditional club sandwich. The only downside about this restaurant is they close by 3 pm daily. We tend to go to this spot for lunch but they also have really good breakfast. We are usually too full for dessert but they make killer pies and cakes in house.

Usually the food is pretty okay here, but I got something that I actually really enjoyed this time. The service is always good because they are super kind staff, I only give it four stars because a lot of our stuff was not handed to us when we originally asked, but it's only because they were super busy. Usually they're very good about it. And the atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

I ordered chili cheese fries and chocolate cake slice for $10 and got chocolate chip pancakes instead..that did not sit well with me for $10 for a cake slice anyone would feel ripped off but when i walked down to return the pancakes for the slice i ordered the fron desk the front people told me i made the misteak and that the cake slice was on me for "free" and said "happy new years its on us" but how is that when thats what i ordered! They made me feel like i messed up and everyone in the restraunt thought i was just trying to get free food! Nope you will never have my buisness again! You messed up and covered up your misteaks and made the customer feel like dirt ! You dont get to silence me!

I had a disappointing experience here. The staff were rude, my order arrived late, and one item was missing. The service felt unprofessional overall. I also overheard a waitress confronting a customer about not tipping, only for the customer to explain that the tip was left on the table, which made the environment uncomfortable. Food is mediocre. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place and don’t plan on returning.
