I was walking around downtown Southampton two years ago, waiting for my friend to finish work. A feeling crept up my spine eventually... The insistent and debilitating need to void my bladder. I walked and walked and there is NOTHING and I wasnt about to find a secluded ivy choked wall to publicly micturate on, these people are haighfalutin, no telling how they'd react!!! Then, looming up out of the middle distance like a green angel, Starbucks! I quickly skirted the counter, offering hurried assurances of future patronage, "just need to make a little room!" I said as I coasted to the partially concealed and well appointed single occupancy unisex accessible washroom, the size of a large studio apartment and for the next little while, my sovereign domain... Can't beat those single occupancy water closets especially in a doubled over bladder crushing emergency... This was about 20 days before the panini started... I shelled out $50 on my way out for a slim package of protien heavy snack foods, though I'm sure they would have let me use the washroom if didn't buy anything. Such is the grace of the barista.
Service was great. Don't be shy about being forward if you think it's taking too long judging by the amount of other customers! Staff knows how to hustle.
I was here for work, the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. They seemed to take care of the customers I saw them interact with. All in all great atmosphere.

It's the best Starbucks in Southampton Village (Yes, it is the only Starbucks in town). It could get real busy in the summer.

As soon as you walk in everyone greets you with a warm welcome. The sun coming thru was perfect and the store was very clean. My matcha latte was absolutely delicious!
This is a wonderful Starbucks. Nick is a Starbucks Partner that goes above and beyond, and makes the best drinks! Overall, everyone at this Starbucks is kind and courteous. Amongst them, one of them stepped outside to check if we needed anything prior to closing which not anticipated yet appreciated. Great job!!!
Great place to get coffee, me and my friend john pork went to get a drink and the baristas Estrella and Marilyn are especially great. Marilyn made me a latte with cold foam and it was extremely delicious. And estrella went above and beyond to heat up my food to perfection. shout out to joe anna for being a great manager and helping me with my drink selection

Excluding the Hamptons summer madness, this starbucks has risen in service and quality. I've ordered a lot in the past few weeks and have not been disappointed. Staff is very engaging and pleasant as well, it's a delight to order here!
Deirdra was absolutely amazing. She was polite and listened to our order. I was just visiting the town and asked a few questions and she had the answers on where to go and how to get there. Plus the drinks were amazing. I had a matcha latte tasted fantastic. Will be back to visit again
the interior is the most beautiful i've ever seen in a starbucks. they did a spectacular job with that. bookshelves, mugs, plants, art pieces. such a calm, relaxing, and safe environment in this starbucks. great place to sit and work, especially when i came, because there was not too many people or noise, so it's good to focus. the staff was sooo nice, and the drinks were amazing as usual. (as a starbucks addict.) definitely have to give this to them, one of the best starbucks' i've ever been to. 100/5
Starbuck's Southampton outshines most others. The glowing staff provide that brilliant shine. Cheerful, enthusiastic as a whole, it is a pleasure being served by professionals. Their glow creates a good vibe, an enjoyable atmosphere. The store itself is always pristine, inside and out. Staff are diligent in keeping the kondiment kiosk stocked; and clean. Barista " Miller " is exceptional. Passionate, professional, he truly understands the concept of producing a consistent product, and it shows in his performance, as he carefully creating a caffeinated coffee concoction. " A dazzling display of delicious decisiveness ". Starbuck's Southampton is a shining star; a beacon serving the community ; . . ..

What's not to love about Starbucks? Yummy frappachinos in the summer and hot lattes in the cooler months. And my favorite pumpkin spice latte!
Starbucks is in the middle of block - there is a drive way adjacent to it which leads to a parking lot in back, so if Street parking is tight be sure to check that out. There are some tables and areas for sitting - I did an informal meeting there and it was pleasant. Staff was friendly and coffee was prepared nicely.

Starbucks is reliably the same almost always and here is no different. Large n beautiful layout with plenty of places to sit. Friendly staff. Could be cleaner. They need more staff like everywhere.

It actually took an hour to receive a coffee 5 min away. The delivery person was waiting and by the time i received my coffee i actually had to reheat it. I wont be giving my service to this location. I will stick to Easthampton.

stop on down to starbucks southampton, where you can order your items and wait an hour, or for someone to steal it. crowded and overall overrated. that and the mixture of tourist during the summer, good luck parking.
The slowest service ever. Very rare to get a good Cappuccino
This is the only Starbucks that I know that intentionally turned off their capacity for Mobile orders. When I asked their staff why I was told “because it can get busy here”. I looked around and there were 4 employees and 2 customers including myself. I have to say my drink was prepared pretty quickly and was delicious and I only had to wait 5 min. I sat down and read a magazine for about 10 min with nobody walking in. When I was about to leave a crowd of 7-8 walked in and proceeded the register to order coffees. Then more people came in. Needless to say by the time their drinks were ready about 30 min later they could have been already served and done without waiting and creating havoc had the mobile order was available. Not a smartest decision by the store’s manager to remove a simple and convenient way to order drinks. Honestly, most times it is faster for me to place a mobile order in Hampton Bays store and pick it up than try to get served in Southampton store!
I’ve noticed lately that when I order a grande latte, it’s consistently being filled much lower than expected — closer to a tall size. I understand leaving a little space at the top, but the amount missing is unreasonable (see attached photo). A grande should be around 16 oz, but this looks more like 12–13 oz. I’d really appreciate more consistency in drink volume going forward.
Such a cute shop. The people who work there don't know their own policies and had the worst interaction there. Was screamed at after walking over from my volunteer event and left very upset.

Found parking finally...walked a half mile to get there only to find a sign on the door that they close at 530...on a Friday...when it was listed closed at 7. Peek season? One star.
Terrible customer service
This is the worst starbucks ive ever been to. They gave me a drink that was half empty... didnt even taste good.

Employees had no focus towards customer service. •Didnt call out names, and the drinks weren't even faced so customers had to turn around drinks to see if it was their's. #gross •Someone must've taken our drink before we got there because we were waiting for a while. When I asked an employee about it, they were on "hot station" and said "that comes from cold station and will be out in a minute." A few minutes pass and no drink. •Then it was nearly impossible to get any of their attention. We ended up leaving with no drink since we had to get to work. •this is minor, but there wasn't a single smile.
I was there with my kids at 8:22 and they wanted a simple drink like a ginger Chai latte but the employee said she couldn't make it because she had already cleaned the machine for the beverages but the Starbucks closes at 9:00 and that is about 40 minutes before closing time so, in that case you should make closing time at 8:30 so you can serve at the appropriate time. The lady told us they were going to close in 20 minutes but it was double the time. The Starbucks in EH always follows through since once we came about 5 minutes before closing and I knew they might not have had the machines on or clean but, they still ended up completing our order effortlessly without complaining once.
Terrible and rude manager. We had a very disappointing experience. We waited around 5 minutes while the manager and two baristas clearly saw us but didn’t acknowledge or take our order. When we politely said “excuse me?” to order, the manager (or trainer) slammed a bottle on the counter and said something like “we’re training here” in a very aggressive tone. We were genuinely shocked — it was incredibly unprofessional and uncomfortable, so we just left. This was honestly the first time I’ve ever had such an unpleasant experience at a coffee shop..
7.15.25 ordered ahead 10 minutes and 30 minutes in the Starbucks still waiting for the coffee How are you routinely out of ice coffee in the morning? Just watched them put hot tap water into my ice coffee as filler. Another day, ten minutes to make an ice tea. Why is it so expensive and poor tasting? They change their policies monthly it seems. Used to be 25 cent refill, then free next month, then $1.09 the next month. New policy as of 8.8.25 you can't get a free refill if it was a mobile app order, just in person at counter. Wish this was a local coffee company. The employees who work here are miserable. Quality and taste of the coffee has continued to go down while price increases. Starbucks, one of the most recognizable coffee chains worldwide, has been struggling to maintain efficient service in recent times. Numerous customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the service at various locations. The long wait time, coupled with the lack of consistency and poor quality, has been a major issue for many. One of the most common complaints is the disappointingly slow service, which has frustrated customers. They have to wait for up to twenty minutes to receive their coffee, even with only four customers ahead of them. This delay is mostly attributed to the shortage of staff, with only two people working at any given time. The issue could be easily resolved if Starbucks hired more staff to handle the increasing demand. It would also make more sense for the store to close during times when there aren't enough customers to justify keeping it open. During these times, the long wait time frustrates customers, and the store becomes inefficient. With fewer customers, Starbucks could focus on quality service, and this would create a more pleasant experience for those who do visit the store. The Covid-19 pandemic has further compounded the problem. During these times, having ten people waiting in close proximity is not ideal, as it increases the risk of infection. In addition, mobile orders are turned off every other day, resulting in a 25-minute wait inside the store. This has further aggravated the already slow service, making it an unpleasant experience for customers. To make matters worse, despite the lack of consistency and poor quality, prices continue to rise. Customers are paying more for the same quality of service, and this is unacceptable. It is disheartening to see the prices continue to rise while the quality of service is deteriorating. This is especially frustrating for customers who are loyal to the brand. In addition, it's disappointing that food items are frequently out of stock. Customers expect to have a wide selection of food items to choose from, but this is not always the case. The shortage of food items can lead to long wait times and customers leaving empty-handed. In conclusion, Starbucks must address the service issues that customers are experiencing. Hiring more staff, closing during low-traffic periods, and improving consistency and quality are all essential steps that must be taken. It's also crucial for Starbucks to maintain a wide selection of food items to meet the diverse needs of their customers. Failure to do so may result in customers losing their loyalty to the brand, which would be a significant loss for Starbucks.
Ordered a coffee a sandwich and a lemonade guess which one took the longest? The coffee and the sandwich came out within two minutes then I proceeded to wait for 15 minutes on one lemonade and they claim “they are just backed up right now“ and proceed to give me a barely full 90% ice drink after waiting. Staff was incredibly rude as well
I’ve had a few occurrences where the staff was rude and passive aggressive. The first time it happened to my mom and we decided not to complain. I then came back recently to try it again and the worker instead of informing me politely about incorrectly ordering the drink, she passive aggressively answered me. I don’t appreciate this behavior and will be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks you.
At first visit, I could’ve been impressed since the employee who took it got it right. But I’ve been ordering for the two months now while being in the Hamptons temporarily., and consistently they keep getting my order wrong. Literally the lattes have been getting have no taste at all. I’ve been ordering flavored lattes, but it seems like I’m not getting the flavored part of it. It’s disappointing
I ordered a drink with no strawberries and they put strawberries and I than i order a Madeline with no chocolate and it had chocolate and I ordered a coffee cake once and it took 30 minutes when I go to a different Starbucks it takes 1. Also they say they “close at 7” but sometime they close at 4 and never change the website .
