Avis sur Di Leo's Pizzeria Staten Island
I personally love their food. They have really good food from their pizza to their pasta dishes. Always fresh. The staff is always nice and very helpful.
The food is always fresh and delicious. Love the pizza too . Even the specialty pie like the chicken frances one is so delish . They have great lunch specials—lots of options at very reasonable prices, and they even come with a drink. Lenny, the owner, is a genuinely great guy with a big heart. If you have not ordered from Dileos give them a try . Kristy & staff
Absolutely delicious! DiLeo's serves up some of the best pizza I’ve had—perfectly crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and fresh, stretchy cheese. The Margherita was a standout, simple and full of flavor. Friendly staff and a cozy vibe make this spot a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back for more!
Ordered by phone and when I got there it was ready, so I decided to eat there Their good is so delicious and their servings never leave you wanting more I order from there all the time and I am never disappointed!
This place is awesome! The guy in the front was very friendly and helpful! The pizza and the food overall was very delicious! I highly recommend it! I will definitely be coming back again !
Stopped in there on our way to a football camp for my son in NJ because traffic was crazy. I am glad we did. Amazing pizza. The vodka slice was exceptional as well as the other food. Staff was very nice and friendly and the owner Leo was hands down one of the nicest people I have met. Very friendly out going and spent time talking to myself and my family. Hands down stand up guy. I strongly recommend going if you are in the area or taking the drive if you need too.
Had a phenomenal experience here. The crust is delicious, the pizza was tasty, and the customer service was unmatched. The owner was so sweet. Our family was coming from a wake across the street and he came out with two tins of house made zeppoli on the house for me and my family. Truly a one of a kind experience. Will be back!
UPDATE: It's been 5 years or so since I've been here. Back at the island for a family thing. Brought a portion of my extended family in for dinner, and everything is STILL GREAT! Pies and everything else (little side dishes) were fantastic. If you're on S.I. for anything or you live there haven't been here yet. You need to go. I was in town for a funeral, it was late, DiLeo's was across the street. Didn't think too much of it, but we found one of the gold standards of pizza! Fantastic pizza and excellent service! The sauce was fabulous, the crust was perfect, and just enough cheese and pepperoni for a perfect pie! Loved it! Thanks guys!!
It's a good standard NY pizza in a land of great pizza. The owner is super nice and his staff is helpful. Prices are fair. Everyone has their favorite place, this place is convenient and good for a quick bite to go.
Great food. It gives the best pizzerias on Staten Island and run for their money
The calamari is a downer. Even with the added lemon and coarse sea salt, it's not that great. And the pieces are hard, only the marinara sauce softens them enough to eat them. I'm glad they gave me 2 cups of it. The fries with mozzarella on the side, better. Overall, not the best, but not the worst. Still not great, tho... Certain things on the menu are done better than others. Haven't been in the establishment, only ordered online. But
As far as the food goes, it's very good. The pizza is great. Walking into the pizzeria, I instantly noticed that it didn't look too clean. The front door was open, and there were flies on the pizza that was sitting on display. The bathroom smelled like pee, and it was just not the cleanest. I should have walked out, but there was a fresh pie that had just come out, so I had pizza from that pie. Don't think I will ever go back unless they clean the place up.
Confusing spot. On the one hand I really like their catered food and 6 ft heroes. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of their pizza. Didn't love the regular or vodka slice. 5.9 on the regular. Also, my bottle of soda was nearly flat. They did significantly upgrade the outside of this plaza.
I have been to this pizzeria a few times but tried it again recently. We ordered a large cheese and a chicken parm sandwich. The restaurant looked a bit dingy and the tables were covered with leftover cups and plates that wasn't cleared away. The cashier and pizza person left the dirty tables and it was gross because there was no where to sit that was clean. The areas with spices and trash area wasn't tidy or clean either. Instead they spent most of the time talking with each other and hanging out. The chicken parm was generously sized and came cut in half. The sandwich was okay. The sandwich came packed with thinly sliced chicken cutlet but there was barely any sauce and the flavor was kind of bland. I felt like it they didn't add any spice to the sauce or the chicken. The pizza was okay. The crust was hard and dry with no flavor at all. The pizza was average and had a decent amount of cheese to sauce. It's not the best nor the worst pizza I had. They charge a fee for credit card and tax isn't included in the price.
Delivery driver banged on my door aggressively and I told him to wait because I was getting my money to give him and he got mad and took my pizza and left
Ordered a baked calzone that is 6.99 added ham 1.50 n they try to charge me 11.50.. do the math how is a something 8.50 , 1150 🤷🏻♂️ 300 dollars in taxes on a item under 9 bucks 🤣🤣taxes are not that much n a side of sauce that is the size of a Chinese dumpling sauce they said is 75 cents 🤣 everywhere on the island that comes with a calzone.. n 5 bucks for a pepperoni slice is more then brother’s charge.. that’s insane.. done wit these people they crooks just trying to rob u … no way on earth something 8.50 is should b 11.50 ..
