Relaxed/zen atmosphere Attentive service Good food and portion The fried calamari is excellent. Peanut Lover chicken: Good mix of peanut and ginger flavors. Moon Harbor: Good wok flavor, would have preferred chicken strips instead of ground chicken, but great for making rolls with the lettuce leaves.
Been here like 3 years ago and was not too impressed. So did not come for a long time, but recently we visited with friends and it was a plesant surprise. Everything tasted much more delicious, fresh. And prepared very fast. I really liked the serving plates, very beautiful.
These guys never disappointed us. Always fresh, always tasty, always excellent customer service! We had 2 special rolls, a few sashimi pieces a la carte, and Thai curry shrimp. And cloudy (unfiltered) sake, as usual... It was really delicious, spicy, mouthwatering...good job guys!
Pretty decent sushi for Staten Island, nice lunch specials. Delivery is always quick and no nonsense, fairly priced. Often order to work.
My favorite local sushi spot on Staten Island. Fish is always super fresh, staff is friendly and attentive and after just a few times of going there they knew my order by heart. They prepare the food very quickly for dine in, pick up or delivery.
I eat a lot of sushi. A lot of sushi. More than seems reasonable. I've been to super high end places around the world and I've been to many neighborhood joints. And without fail, 3 Guys makes some of the most reliably fresh, comforting, and tasty sushi out there. From specialty rolls to sashimi, they cover all the bases of a great sushi spot with flying colors. On top of that, they have fantastic appetizers and meals from the kitchen. Dining in is always fun too, with a great staff and fun colorful decor. There's a reason 3 Guys is my go-to when I'm feeling like my favorite food!
Super fresh food. Great atmosphere for Staten Island. And they even made a sushi roll for me that wasn’t on the menu.
My favorite place on Staten Island for sushi. Food is excellent, service was always great, the staff is top notch. You can’t get better then that. For Christmas I get gift cards for everyone on my list from there and they all thank me for the great choice. I can’t wait to be able to sit down inside again but in the meantime it’s my go to for pickup and worth the trip. I wish I could give it more stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My go to spot for sushi and Japanese cuisine for years. Their bento boxes are an amazing deal including soup, salad, vegetable tempera, California roll & shrimp shumai n addition to the main entree. Friendly service, fresh food, delicious and a beautifully designed seating area. Would highly recommend!
everyone was super nice. I got a matcha and it was pretty yummy. The spot is cute and there's usually parking nearby. Also affordable!
First time in today and I loved it! Cozy/cool place and down to Earth people. The latte? Sincerely the best. I live in Bayonne, so I sipped/savored it all the way home. I'll def be back and am excited to try different items as I go. Tysm, Redemption Coffee!
My little daughter and I came in to place a to-go order, and we got a caramel latte that was absolutely delicious 😋—smooth, rich, and perfectly made. The barista works incredibly hard, and you can clearly see the ownership and passion he puts into his craft. It truly makes the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again for our coffee! Highly recommended! ☕✨
I love this place! Everything is so good and there’s so much effort that goes into this place. There are not many coffee shops that make their syrups homemade so I really appreciate this place for that. They also have seasonal flavors which is so fun and exciting!! I come here at least twice a week and the food is also really great and fresh!!
Love this place! The owner is super friendly and makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. You can tell they really care about what they’re doing. Tried The New York Classic sandwich – so good! Fresh, flavorful, and just hits the spot. I also had a cortado, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had. You can taste the quality in the coffee – smooth, rich, and perfectly made. Also love that they make their syrups in-house – you can really taste the difference. Nothing artificial or overly sweet, just really well-balanced. Great vibes, great people, amazing coffee and food. Definitely coming back!
I love this coffee shop. The brown sugar latte is my favorite. All the syrups are homemade and you can 100% tell. I love that they are dog friendly as well. They also now have Arepas. They are actually the best ones I have ever had. I added pickled onions to mine. Such a beautiful environment.
Without a doubt the very best bacon, cheese, egg, croissant I've had anywhere on Staten Island. Even though the Advance listed them, they had never been there. So the article did not include they make their own syrups, age the cold brew in a special way, or that the owner Pierre is extremely knowledgeable about coffee. I loved this place, the latte I had was smooth, great taste. If you are a coffee lover, and one who appreciates good food and ambiance DO NOT MISS THIS .
Great little place to get your coffee. It has an outdoor patio. Which is pretty spacious..inside is very cozy-couple of 2 ppl tables and a long one, that can fit i believe 8 ppl. The menu is looking really great. But so far, i only had a lavander latte, which is incredible and a delicious almond croissant. Definitely recommend you to get your coffee here. Also, the flavored syrups here are homemade..so delicious.
I recently stumbled upon this hidden gem of a coffee spot, and let me tell you, it's an absolute hit! The cozy vibes are off the charts, setting the stage for the ultimate coffee experience. The staff? TOTAL rockstars. Super friendly and always up for a nice chat. If you're after a chill spot with solid coffee, this place is legit. Get ready for your taste buds to do a happy dance! Check it out!
Came here on a whim, glad that I did. The place is nicely decorated and includes indoor or outdoor seating with a lovely patio area, overall it feels very welcoming as a cafe. The staff were very friendly and warm. The food was surprisingly very good, as I wasn't expecting anything fancy from a cafe, but frankly good enough just to have as a lunch option and stay for a few hours of coffee while you work or study. I had the salmon, which was excellent and filling. The coffee definitely tastes like they put a lot of thought into how to make it, and are very generous portions (see my pictures for reference). Wild definitely recommend as a date/meet up spot with friends if you're in the SI area.
Finally, a good coffee shop on the North Shore! The Japanese blend for the iced coffee was strong and very flavorful, and having ice cubes made of coffee was a huge plus! Every coffee shop should do that. Nobody gets excited about a salad, but their seasonal salad with roasted vegetables was so tasty that it didn't even need the delicious mustard vinaigrette. There's ample outdoor seating with lots of outlets on a nice day, and the owner is very friendly. BTW, they're changing their name to Redemption Cafe soon, but whatever they call it, I will certainly be back!
So this is a rather lengthy review but let me say the most important this cafe is wonderful! Very cute and I love that they have gluten free option. The cappuccino I had was nice and strong. But the gluten-free Blueberry muffin is my go to I usually get 2 muffins once or twice a week. I took my mom here one day by chance since we live right nearby. She loved the atmosphere. And her croissant and coffee. Today I was disappointed Initially because I send my dad to get me 2 gluten free blueberry muffins and they gave a really dried out one that I can’t eat especially with my braces it is super stale and dried up. But I decided to call and The customer service was outstanding. The young lady that answered was very understanding and respectful. It is more common with gluten free to get overcooked but accident. So overall I am very happy with this local cafe. The gluten-free brownie needs a little improvement but The blueberry muffin is just perfect and amazing to me. I warm it gently and add butter and blueberry preserve at home sooo good
I did visit this place recently and never regretted it. As another reviewer says it is a pretty small place. Inside you can find seats for 8 people the max. Outside is more spacious with having about 6 tables with one located inside a gazebo. The menu is basic and very simple with the majority of different kind of sandwiches, some soup, and some other basic stuff. Drinks menu is pretty big with lots of choice. The lady who works at the register and brings your order at the same time (probably the owner) is very nice and polite. The order was done very quickly and given to us with smile (I felt like my mom brought me lunch). Basically saying it was done with love. Coffee felt great as well as the sandwiches. The only one thing that I and my wife did not like is that the grape that comes with our sandwiches was already on its way to bad side (it was not fresh), not all of it, I would say about 40%. Overall the place is great for coffee, small snack, and to stop the whole world around you and relax))
It's good, but I wouldn't call it anything special, it's a small restaurant after all. It's good to eat if you're in the area or want to order but it isn't one of those restaurants you would go out of your way to try.
Nice local place for sushi and Japanese & Thai cuisine. We ordered chicken & beef teriyaki, prince roll & salmon avocado roll, and sweet potato & cream cheese roll, which are pictured. The shrimp tempura & pork gyoza were tasty as our appetizers. Their shrimp pad thai was good with just a hint of spice. We enjoyed our meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Street parking is available.
I enjoy the sushi at 3 guys and always have had good experiences dining there! The atmosphere in the restaurant is pretty and cozy to dine in. However, on my most recent dine in experience they told us they converted to a new system where you place your order on an ipad instead of with a server. I spend all day working on a computer, so the last thing I want to do when out to dinner is click around on an iPad placing my family of 5’s individual orders. This was super frustrating and took away from the dine in experience. One of the reasons I like to dine out is for the human connection!
Food was a bit sub-par. Worst Dragon Roll I ever had. Bit pricey too. Service just seemed to take a long time even though we were the only ones in there at the time.
Wanted to enjoy this place... The presentation is beautiful. However some of the sashimi was not very fresh and the tuna rolls gooey consistency.
Very nice and quick service! However, the sushi is not great. The spicy salmon has no flavor and does not look/taste like real salmon. They also added crunch that I did not ask for. Just not good quality especially for the price. You can get more bang for your buck at another sushi spot on Staten Island for sure.
Food is great as always. I've been a loyal costumer for years but lately the delivery guy is being really annoying. He questions how much you tip on mutiple occasions. That is very insulting !! You should be lucky someone gave a tip at all and mind you i live near by. He drove less than 15 minutes to get to me. I doubt very much I will be placing another delivery anytime soon. They need to hire better delivery staff. This is VERY unprofessional.
Ordered food to go. Spent $30 on 1 soup and 2 rolls. Tom Yum was inedible. A sweet watery broth with only 3 shrimp and 5 mushrooms, nothing else. Gross. Never going back.
The food absolutely had no taste. We ordered pad Thai, pad kee mow, sushi and mango sticky rice. When I tell you nothing tasted good. The food was absolutely bland. Chicken was stretchy. The mango sticky rice was not sweet. It was eating steamed white rice with mangos. I called them to ask the chef a question and literally the receptionist was like all of a sudden the chef isn't here.
When I went into the restaurant I barely could understand what the woman taking the order said. Then (it was take out) it cost a huge amount for nine rolls of sushi, only then after I paid, did i see there was a lunch special for half the price, and included soup and salad. Do you think she MIGHT have mentioned there was a lunch special? No she didn't and for that reason they will never get my business again, I don't care what the other reviews.
Been here a few times and it has been decent. Waitress is very sweet, however after we ate out meal and was waiting for the check, I heard clipping noises. I thought, no it can't be..and sure enough one of the sushi guys behind the counter was clipping his nails right by the fish! I will NEVER return. What ashame.
I finally decided to try this place after walking by it so many times. While it’s definitely aesthetically pleasing and clearly geared toward social media influencers, the actual coffee experience was disappointing. The menu was very limited, so I didn’t have many options and ended up ordering something simple. The coffee itself wasn’t good and absolutely not worth the price. I was especially surprised to be charged $1 for ice, which felt unnecessary and borderline ridiculous considering how expensive everything already was. I ended up spending close to $20 on coffee that honestly tasted bad. If you’re going for photos, you might enjoy it. If you’re going for good coffee and value, I’d skip it—I was better off going to Starbucks.
