If you know me, you know I LOVE coffee. I have been to every coffee shop in Stephenville multiple times. I visit a shop everyday. Well, I just found a new favorite. This shop is the real deal. When you walk in, you feel like you're in a true, old school coffee shop. The kind of place that invites you to bring your friends, grab a coffee, sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. It has the vibe of being invited into someone's living room to relax and chill. I was greeted very warmly. The gentlemen helping me even described menu items for me, because I forgot my regular glasses and couldn't see! It has to be the biggest coffee shop I've been in in a long time. It has many comfortable chairs with tables and also has a really comfortable looking sofa and armchairs. It's owned by the same people who own blackjacks in Dublin and the country store in Lingleville, so it's an awesome local establishment. I may have the name wrong but I have the Tasso Fuego iced coffee drink. It has caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and a hint of cayenne. It was amazing! I just found a new favorite coffee drink as if I need another! They also serve an amazing selection of sandwiches and other handmade food as well as Bluebell ice cream, Dublin Bottling Works sodas on tap, and feature Veldhuizen cheese. So if you like coffee, good food, and hanging out with your friends in a local place that serves local fare, then I highly recommend King Coffee . I can't wait to go back.

King Coffee is owned by a local family, and they have an excellent coffee, a super friendly staff, great hours, and a beautiful location (on the square)! If you haven’t yet, I recommend you stop by! ☕️ They were open during the Christmas parade (which is where I took these photos), and left the city shoot fireworks off of the roof! 🎄🎇

Came here looking for an ice cream cone at a recommendation, and it was delicious! Great ice cream and milkshakes, as well as authentic ice cream floats and frosty's. Can't wait to come back here and try all their coffee options and sandwiches! Edit: tried their Bourbon Butter White Chocolate Mocha coffee and it was AMAZING!

If you actually like quality coffee, this is the only place in Stephenville to get it. Great staff, great atmosphere, and the best coffee around. Highly recommended.

The girls working were so sweet, they were quick and the quality of drinks were amazing. Reminded of the first shop I ever worked at. Even the oak cliff. Espresso was dialed in well even on a rainy day, the syrup was perfect, both drinks were amazing. Oat milk was worth the add on price, thicker and creamy.

Gorgeous coffeehouse with lots of easy parking, great prices, and really great service. Levi was patient and knows his stuff - he helped me pick out just the right coffee drink for an afternoon on the laptop here. Highly recommended!

The loaded avocado for a no bread option is so good. I ordered the turkey sandwich with the loaded avocado in place of the bread. Perfection! Higher quality sandwich meat for sure, which I am picky about! Service was really great, too!

Super cute shop! Been wanting to try it and finally got the chance to. They are closed on Sunday’s! Bit expensive but what do you expect it’s an expensive economy and it’s on the square. I like how roomy it is in the restaurant and we tried the becky sandwich and the honey latte and bourbon white chocolate mocha. 10/10 for both! The sandwich was good but kinda dry. I will add mayo next time. :)

This is easily the best coffee in town and an excellent edition to the downtown square! They take pride in their product and make a lot of their ingredients from scratch. Even when we make a large order for my staff, everything is always correct and delicious! Try the Bourbon Butter White Chocolate Mocha or the Honey Latte - so delicious :)

This is a very comfortable spot on an old drugstore space right on the town square. It has a nice menu. The lemon scone I had was quite good, the breed coffee was not all that good. Pretty weak if you ask me. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Looking at the building from the outside, I was expecting to have a small cafe within an old pharmacy, like you see here and there in small towns. I was very disappointed to walk into a run-of-the-mill modern coffee shop with overpriced drinks, food, and an expectation of a 20% tip to shout your name so you can get your own food, drink, and bus your own table. I'm on a motorcycle trip trying to hit as many little locally owned places as I can in "rural" Texas (Stephenville is much bigger than the normal stop). I want to support Mom and Pop places that maintain the old style and service. This is not that. The chicken-bacon-ranch sandwich used cubed pieces of chicken that were way too al dente (needs too much teeth/ tough). The sandwich otherwise tasted okay, but not worth the price.

Was disappointed you do not get chips with your sandwiches.(Maybe you can get the smaller bags and start a new trend especially with a $10 sandwich) Was not a fan of the Jalapeño popper sandwich…the iced honey coffee was good. If you only have an hour for lunch May want to skip. Atmosphere was nice. Would be a good place to sit if you had time and enjoy a coffee. The staff was friendly🙂
