I have been here a few times over the years and I have always left satisfied. This place offers a decent value and the food’s always been good. Service has always been fantastic even when they’re busy. It’s honestly one of the better chain restaurants in my opinion.
I usually came here to eat rib, pizza, pasta and salad. I been coming here for 5 years. The foods are amazing and the service was awesome I would give them 5 stars. Good beer guys!!✨
Best pizookies ever, I got the dubai chocolate one and it perfect. The food is great with a big variety. Really great for casual dinners!
Definitely delicious food and superior service- Larry the host and Kylee my sever were both great and are assets to this spot! Huge menu and tap selections but the service is what set it apart!
We have BJ brew houses in California. I was here visiting and wanted some bjs…. My dad and I stopped in for a bite and was greeted and seated immediately. Despite the place being packed. After being seated we was greeted by the restaurant manager. I think she said her name was Watonda. She was very pleasant and kind. The server we had name was Frank. He was also very pleasant. We had a great dinner. Good conversation and full satisfied belly’s. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Couples on a date. Family outing. Girls day out.. the fellas hanging out having a beer and watch some tv while eating pizza. This is the spot!
BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is one of my favorite Restaurants in the country. This was my first visit to this restaurant while visiting family in the Detroit area. I ordered one of my staples the tri tip salad. Steak was ordered, salmon, sliders and tri-tip all ordered. The food was cooked fantastic and the service was even better. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all.
Amazing food, Even better service with the absolute GOAT of a waiter Christian, elevated our experience with laughs and jokes the entire way through. Would come back just him. Definitely deserves every tip. He made this dinner experience into a lifelong memory.
Let me start off by saying the guy(had a black shirt with Shamrock)that was at the door and seated us was very nice and knowledgeable, went over the menu. The place looks good inside and out. The lemon pepper wings were well seasoned and good. The Bj's Smokehouse burger was great and had a grill taste. The fries were okay, nothing special. The macaroni bites were good because of the sauce it came with. By itself, it had no flavor. Our waitress Kelly was great and attentive. I do recommend this place.
Aak for Rory m, he did a fantastic job taking care of my wife and I. Prime Rib was served and presented to me the way I ordered it. The double bone porkchop my wife ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned.
Wow! Great experience. First time here. Took a little long for someone to come by our table at first. Glad I didn't walk out though. Food was amazing. Lots of options great menu and some unique stuff. We had the brisket burger the avocado wraps appetizers. The chicken dumplings were scrumptious. I had the parmesean crusted chicken...it was amazing! Best mashed potatoes and the buttery lemon sauce was one of the best I've ever had. Then to finish it off we got the trio pizookie. Holy moly I would come here just for the dessert. You have to try it if you eat here. Our Server lyanna was great too. Friendly smiled great personality. Never had to ask for refills or anything. I will be coming back to try more of their awesome menu.
This place is always a great place to grab a pizza and salad. I’ve been here many times and I’ve always received great services…. This evening however we walked into an hiccup with the two hostesses that greeted us… they didn’t want to sit us in a booth and stated “it was saved for a 6 top” which it wasn’t… problem got resolved quickly. After that, we were greated by our amazing lovey waitress Wendy; She’s phenomenal. Wendy brought everything out on time, filled our glasses, and she even packed our food up for us; She went above and beyond. Now, the food was great and very tasty. We will be returning in the near future and hopefully we don’t have an issue with being sitted.
We just had an amazing steak dinner. The steak was amazing! Would 100% recommend this place if you're looking for quality food. The drinks were super inventive and the flavors were great. Service is friendly and fast. Thank you Kymora for the best service. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant! We called ahead for a larger party and were seated within 10-15 minutes of our arrival. Lots of food and drink items unique to BJ’s that you won’t find anywhere else. We were there for their first “live” day and it was great. Lots of enthusiastic and welcoming staff. They are known for their pizza and Pizookies so that’s what we chose to order. While waiting on our food the managers came around and were great. They really made sure we were all taken care of. I would have taken photos before digging in, but once we took the first bite, our food was devoured. We will definitely be back for more!
1st visit. Better than expected. Our server Mike was knowledgeable about the beer and food. Got us beer samples to help our selection. Hubby enjoyed Ahi Poke and Avocado Rolls. I loved the tomato mozzarella salad . Reasonable to find a $5 salad. I also had the French dip. We will be back and bring the kids n grandkids
My family and I have visited this establishment multiple times and have had great experiences each time! All of the food is amazing so far. The burgers are excellent. The nachos with chilli is a great appetizer to share with a large group. The Pazookie desserts are delicious! I try to get something different each time I dine here. This time I tried the steak cauliflower and quinoa power bowl and I think it’s my new favorite thing! Our server Billy was amazing!! He went above and beyond and was great with my kids! He greeted the table with snacks for the kids which kept them occupied while we browsed the menu. Will definitely visit again!
Food was excellent and our server Christian was the GOAT made our experience 1000% better. Made everyone laugh and smile. Would come back just to have him serve us. Made this dinner a memory we’ll never forget
We come here plenty of times since it’s close to home. We always have good food. Tonight Dominique took care of us and was so sweet to our young kids. Since they got their food first and was done by the time our food came out, she brought them over to the Halloween decorations and the kids loved it. It was a nice gesture.
Had some family over, and didn’t feel like cooking, so we ordered the specialty combo to go. The price wasn’t bad at all. The food was excellent, but I don’t think it was really enough for 12 as listed, maybe 8-10 MAX. It worked out great for the 7 of us. Will definitely order again.
Stopped in after a long day of travel looking for a quick meal, and I was pleasantly surprised. Ramiza at the bar made everything great—friendly, attentive, and full of good suggestions. The blackened Atlantic salmon I ordered was fresh, flavorful, and better than I thought a sports-bar-style spot could do. Would definitely recommend this place for a tasty, no-fuss meal!
Wanted to share our recent dining experience, as I felt it rather curious there seemed to be some rather middling reviews sprinkled in here. We arrived as a party of 5 around 5p.m. on a weekday night. Rather light crowd at that time. We were welcomed and ushered to our table promptly, where we were greeted by our server who took our drink orders, mainly the BJ's signature beers. All were pronounced tasty. We proceeded to order Apps, the calamari and an order of boneless wings with the Asian coating. Both arrived promptly and were more than ample quantity for the 5 of us and again, were pronounced very good with even some left to take home. Our server made sure to check on us regularly to see if we needed refills. We moved on to ordering our entrees, which sampled a cross section of the menu. They arrived as if pre ordered by a bevy of staff, all very nicely presented and in ample quantity to reflect an appropriate price point and value. Our server made sure to ask if everything looked good we all replied to the affirmative and proceeded to dig in, None of us was able to finish our whole meal with my wife's Beef dip being enough for four people. All the food was great as was the service. 4 stars for interior volume when crowded but other than that BJ's really delivered!
Stopped in for dinner and got the hot honey pepperoni deep dish pizza. It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The avocado lime tacos were good as well. The staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out quick. No complaints definitely will be back.
Best place ever to eat, food is good, staff is professional and pleasant, they check with you to make sure you are enjoying your meal and offer if anything more they can assist with to make it a pleasant experience. Atmosphere is superb and it’s my favorite hang outs places. I Love it here and i highly recommend that you come see for yourself.
Me and my husband stop in today around 5pm for dinner. He order himself the chicken Alfredo pasta with Mozzarella Sticks and a side of Steamed Broccoli and I got the Pasta Scampi with a side salad and Mac cheese Bits. The Food was Amazing! All though It did take a bit for us to get seated besides that the experience was good to us We will be Returning back!
Gotta say, it's been a very long time since I was greeted with such an amazing dining-in experience. The food was amazing, the beer was great, it's super busy, but not loud enough to where you can't hear the person you're eating with have a convo. I had gotten the 3-course combo, and my do they give you a lot for such a great deal. Would absolutely recommend eating here.
Food was good. Took a while to decide on what to eat. lots of great choices. We chose the shrimp appetizer and flatbread pozza with bacon, pineapple and jalapeno, i rhink it was called the spicy pig. Service was excellent, our baretender was on top of everything! Good beer selection.
After a frustrating travel day, I was looking for a decent quick meal. I sat at the bar and received outstanding service from Ramiza. She had great recommendations. I ended up getting the atlantic salmon blackened. It was fresh and tasty, much better than you would expect from a sports bar style spot. Would recommend.
Pizzokis are the most delicious desserts. Some of their food is top notch, while others are passable. The steak was chewy and not great, but their potatoes and broccoli were great. Their portion sizes are good. Pizza crust was crunchy and delectable but center was nearly doughy. Overall, the pizza was good.
First off I wanna say this is a very busy place very great atmosphere upbeat staff They have a variety of beers on tap. We started off with a Margarita flight and a grand patron Margarita follow up with appetizers we ordered fried pickles and lemon pepper chicken wings. Both of those appetizers were very good. I gave this place four stars only because me and my partner both ordered salads and on both salads. The lettuce was wilted seems like they just mixed bad lettuce with salad dressing on a Caesar salad and a Cobb salad besides that that’s my only complaint
A friend introduced us to this restaurant a few years ago (down river location). We really enjoyed it and we were happy to find an establishment closer to home. I do miss the meatball appetizer, that was my favorite since it doesn't take much to fill me up. The food isn't bad, prices can be so-so, but what hasn't gone up these days? We like to go on Tuesday's when their Pizookies are 4 bucks. It depends on the day but it seems like when it's slow, it takes forever to get your food. You go when it's busy & it's out so quick.
Stopped in a little over a year ago. The menu has an interesting mix of items. The food was good, but the drinks were just okay. We had the Chicken Pot Stickers, Honey Sriracha Brussels, Hot and Spicy Boneless Wings and a Margarita.
BJ History: I went to a BJ’s in California and it was “ok”. The burger was tasteless and bland. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I was turned away! Really! Then corporate contacted me and offered me a second try. I was very hesitant and turned off. After a few months, I decided to give BJ’s one last try. This would be it. All or nothing. If they failed again, I would never return. I’m a good restaurant eater and a good tipper. Today: 2023 Wow! I finally got to try their Prime Rib! I had my usual medium rare! Wow. Excellent! Juicy and cooked to perfection. Seriously. I was impressed. All the fat melted in my mouth. This really was good. The au jus was delicious and complimented the prime rib perfectly. When cooked for a long time, it should be soft like butter and it should melt in your mouth. This prime rib was a major HIT. Wow. Don’t miss this. I will definitely be back for more Prime Rib. Wow. 2024 Came back. Still good. They updated their menu too. They have shrimp now and onion rings now. Great food. They open till 12 every day now. Highly recommended
First time for BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse in the location. I had fresh Atlantic Salmon and my husband had bacon cheeseburgers. Our foods and service were good but not great like they used to be maybe cause it was a busy Sunday. We will try again if we go to that area.
My friends and I are regulars at this place because it's close to our work and open late. We normally request for Wendy to wait on us and she does a great job. I've tried many different things off the menu. My favorites for appetizers are the fried couscous Mac n Cheese balls and the soft pretzel, but my friends really like the chicken pot stickers as well. For entrees I really love the smokehouse burger and chicken parm, but the fish & chips and pizzas aren't very good. The pizookies are always delicious, especially the cinnamon rolls and brownie baked one. Prices can be expensive.
March 2024 - first off we had a wonderful waitress and Sandra was great. I would recommend you ask for her. I ordered the sliders (pork) and they were good. My kids ordered the spaghetti and chicken tenders. My daughter said the meatball was ok. However they loved the pizookie strawberry shortcake, cookies n cream and salted Carmel. All were very good but salted Carmel was my favorite. Overall not bad but I would come before dinner. No wait when we came around 4:30 on a Saturday. June 2022 - came here with a small group and no kids. However, every time we come we have to wait. But the food is good. Environment is good. Today, I ordered the Spicy Peanut Chicken with Soba Noodles. Very spicy but good. If you do not like spicy i would go with the power bowls. Not bad and a good place I would recommend.
This place had bright atmosphere. The bar area seemed to be quieter than the open area. There is a great beer selection. I love a good amber red and the Jeremiah Red didn't disappoint. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which was good. I had the jambalaya. It was full of flavor and quite a large portion. Be prepared for some spice and a large bowl. My wife had the Mahi Tacos. Excellent. The dessert was the best part. Never heard of a pizookie but we loved the. They are all really good. Highly recommend.
I was there 2-7-26 and it was really busy here was this girl with pigtails she was incredibly nice to everyone there was this family that was just being rude and I think I seen her comment on here, I just wanna say that everything she said was not true and this girl was amazing! She handle everybody like a pro yes people were waiting long then they was quoted but she was trying and I comprehend her !!
Seen some viral post circulating about their pizza and a few other items. So I thought I would give it a try. Went here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm. Walked in was greeted promptly by staff and my order was taken. I ordered an individual pizza and mozzarella sticks. Came up to 37.03 which is a bit on the steep side. Mozzarella sticks came 10 to an order (a bit on the skinny side) which I first thought wow that’s awesome! But in reality it was probably 5 regular size cheese sticks cut in half to make 10. Which is okay but the smaller the food the more likely case your food will get colder quicker. The sticks were lightly breaded even with a hint of Parmesan and garlic made a very balanced bite of flavor. Ranch was well ranch but felt like it could have a bit more seasoning added cause it was light on flavor. Marinara was good tasted fresh with definite hints of onion, oregano and basil. The pizza which I had high hopes for fell a touch short of what I would say a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut used to be. At a cost of almost 20 bucks with cheese , bacon and cuppy pepperoni it was satisfactory at best, I hoped to be a bit more. Now 20 bucks for that size pizza could have been a large at some carryout pizza joints around town. The dough was dense and sponge like. Very little crunch from the bottom as I think they over oiled the pans because it was very soft. The crunch of it was on the back wall if you will, which was pleasing to taste and flavors of the pizza were very balanced and not overpowering in any way. (See bottom picture of grease in box). Service and atmosphere great 5 stars. Food 3 stars price 2 stars. Which probably puts over all about a 3.3 in my over all experience. I won’t be rushing back any time soon but I think I will be giving the another opportunity to earn my patronage as a loyal guest, but I’ll definitely try something else!
The food was really good. We had a variety from pizza to salmon to sliders. The service however left a lot to be desired. They close at midnight we arrived around 10.20pm and stood at the hostess station unacknowledged for 10 minutes as the wait staff walked by side eyeing our party as if they hoped we’d disappear. I had to ask if there was a host available before one waitress finally addressed us and tried to find a table. The restaurant had about 10 patrons I total. Our waitress was kind but there were several issues. Our orders were taken incorrectly as in she brought out the complete wrong item. She didn’t bring out the additional sides that were ordered and they still ended up on the bill. Overall the service wasn’t great but it was our only option at that hour.
First time at this location for a birthday. With a reservation we still had to wait 5-10 min for the hostess to even show up at the station and got seated at least 15 min after our reservation. The area got so crowded people were unable to walk through to exit, very unsafe. We had one extra person show up and the hostess berated our table for "taking an extra chair away from another table" and claimed people like us make her job harder. The tone set by the staff made us feel unwelcome the whole night. We weren't able to order a pizza as they were out of the 11" pizzas entirely. Got the salmon instead and it was not worth the price. DO NOT go here to celebrate. Fine for a regular night out but not meant to handle groups/special occasions.
Nachos were served and they looked like I could have made them in a microwave. They were served on parchment paper so we all ended up eating some parchment paper without realizing until the end because it stuck to the nachos. We mentioned it to the server who was very nice and the manager came but they didn’t offer any discount on them. We paid for the nachos fully. Jalapeños tasted like dirty water. Burgers and salmon were good. Would not be my first choice to go back there but not the worst meal I’ve had. Just not worth the price.
Decided to go there on pizza night and order a pizza last night. It was the worst pizza I’ve ever had tasted like it came from a frozen box. We paid for it and just told the waitress that it was the worst pizza we’ve ever had and she had mentioned that they did change their crust. Well, I don’t know what it tasted like before, but this is definitely not worth getting. I’ve been there before and had other food and their majority of it is pretty tasty, but the pizza was terrible
Imagine my disappointment when I came into this establishment to celebrate a coworkers promotion and it took 45 minutes for us to receive our drinks. Not to mention, all of the food was cold, sub-par, and mediocre. I recommend any other restaurant within a 50 mile radius. This place absolutely blows. Terrible service, terrible food, and an even worse management team. I complained to management about my experience and they did next to nothing to make it right. Not to mention, the person we were celebrating didn’t even eat because their order was not correct or up to standards. As a former restaurant employee, this experience was despicable for a restaurant with such potential. I truly hope the corporate office resolves the issues at this location, or I will be taking my loyal business elsewhere. BJs blows (literally and metaphorically). 0 stars.
Worst restaurant I have been to. Went with my family to celebrate a birthday and it was slow but we still waited 1 1/2 hours to get our food. 5 of the 5 meals were made wrong, waited 20 minutes for refills of our drinks. My sister ordered a medium steak and my mother ordered a medium steak as well both steaks came out well done and my mother's was burnt. They claimed they couldn't cook my sisters steak to medium being they are pre cooked to medium well due to the cut of steak but that was never mentioned when ordering. Mine and my fiancé's burgers were ment to be well done but came out medium. Ribs were dry and cold. Sent the food back and when they came back my sisters steak was unseasoned and my mother's medium steak came out barely even rare. Attached is my mother's remade "medium" steak.
If I had the option to leave 0 stars, this is the establishment I would have left it for. I went in for dinner this evening with my family of 4. My boys nothing got the ribs, with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, my husband got the Riley, with a side salad, and broccoli, and I opted for the slow roasted tri tip with garlic butter, a wedge salad, and mashed potatoes. For starters our salads were served with your entrees and not as appetizer which blew our minds. After taking 2 bites of my salad I pushed it aside so my entree didnt get cold. I cut into my tri tip and took my first bite. When I tell you it was like straight shoe leather, this is not an exaggeration. After trying to chew this bite for what felt like forever I gave up and spit it out. Shortly after the waitress came to the table and asked if everything was OK. I told her that my steak was less than edible and she offered to get me a new one. I told her no that wasn't necessary and I would just finish my salad and some of my potatoes. By the time it would get to me my family would be finished eating. She sent a manager over to our table and she said could I please replace that steak for you. I said no, no need I would just finish my salad. She said I want you to get what you came in for and leave happy, no need to feel bad, let me replace it with a ribeye and I can get it right out to you. About 10/15 mins later another plate arrives and this point my family is finishing their meals. After I took a few bites everyone looked like they were ready and already had their carryout containers packed and the bill was placed on our table. Tell me why this woman comped my first meal (tri tip) and then charged me 33.79 for the ribeye that she insisted on replacing my tri tip for. UNBELIEVABLE! If this is their customer service, they will never get another $1 from my family or I. By this point I was so fed up I paid my bill of $172 almost $173 for much less than mediocre food. This establishment and management needs a swift course in customer service. We will never step foot back here.
It's is a big restaurant and bar. The food was very pricey for what you get. The menu has a little bit of everything so you get mediocre food. It was more like a classier coney island really. The deserts was the best part. Service was not great.
This was one of mine and my Fiance's favorite date night restaurants, however our last couple of visits have truly made us question this and we will likely not be back. I'll start off by mentioning I am bringing this hopefully to the attention of management and I am not looking for anything in return for my experience besides hopefully well intended training for your establishment where it may be needed. My fiance ordered the mahi mahi tacos, (one fried, one oven roasted). The oven roasted one was cold, tasted old, and the meal did not come with beans as advertised. I had ordered the honey crisp chicken salad with no corn, it was severed to me with corn, a lot of it. Our waiter was kind and did try to manage the issues as he was notified however the timeframe between receiving our food and seeing our waiter was lengthy. My fiance opted to eat what he was given knowing there were snacks at home but I could not get past the amount of corn on the salad. By the time I was able to bring this to our waiters attention, my fiance was almost done with his food and I had still been waiting on a drink refill request made prior to receiving our food the first time. It almost felt pointless at this point, but I appreciated the waiter offering to resolve the matter by bringing me a new salad; however this again took much time. By the time I received a new salad I took a couple of bites and just wanted a box at this point, mind you I still did not have my initial refill/paid second drink (Razzle Dazzle) and my fiance had already completed his food. The waiter came and we asked for a box, at this point I was also being given my new drink which I also asked for a to go cup for now as we were leaving. Between the quality of food, overall timeframe for everything this evening (3-hour period total), and our last two experiences reflecting very similar, this is why we will not be back.
First and last time. We had a reservation but didn't get to sit down until 30 minutes after the reservation and the place was empty.. We waited a long time for the food and it was terrible. For example I asked for a medium rare burger and got a well done burger. Someone said this place was a expensive Coney and it really is... $15 for a cheeseburger and fountain drinks are $4 but don't worry you won't get a refill either.
We have been here multiple time and always disappointed. Everytime we have come they were out of what we wanted to order, chicken, soup, and forget about getting any of the specials. They are always out, even if you come early. Everytime we have been here They have screwed up our order, one occasion they were rude as hell to the point of they switched our waitress on thier own. The icing on the cake is the waitress couldn't get my Amex to work... her issue, because they ended up triple charging our card. Finally a week later they credited us back. This place is completely incompetent. Almost forgot, we had reservations but still waiting 25 minutes...
Standing here over 5 minutes now and 2 servers walked pass me, avoiding eye contact, the bar tender just looks up and says nothing. No one greets or asks what I'm waiting for.. isn't it proper customer service to greet people when they enter your facility?.. my first time here, bad impression. I won't be coming back. Oh and a 2nd person, just came in after me also had to call someone over to help him out.. not doing so great with customer service imo. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here based in this experience
The girl with pigtails that stood at the front hostess podium “welcoming” guests on a busy Friday night with her arms crossed the whole time was so incredibly rude to people. She told us 25 minutes for a table and at 50 minutes another employee told us we should have been told at least 40 when we checked in, not 25. We watched several families walk out because that gal was so disrespectful when they came in trying to get a table. As they would leave or tell her they were not going to stay and wait then turn around to exit- she would start laughing at them! It was awful! We also saw her hang up on people on the business phone then tell other front hostess staff and laugh about it. Many other guests in the front area witnessed also and were shocked by her nasty behavior.
