The servers here were really nice and welcoming. When we went the servers were swamped, but they maintained their composure and got to everybody quickly. The food is your standard diner fare which was the perfect comfort food for travelers. I would definitely go back again on my next road trip.

Denny's is always a great stop for breakfast. The waitress was on the spot. She kept my coffee hot. The food came quickly and was excellent. Ordered from the senior menu.

This has been my favorite Denny's I have ever been to. I really only visit Denny's at night so I can not attest to the day staff but the night staff are very kind. The location is well kept and the bathrooms are clean, and as for the food I mean its Denny's you should know what to expect. The atmosphere is really nice because of the entire dinning area surrounded by windows and the music they play is spot on.

Once again, Denny's hit the spot. Great comfort food at reasonable prices. Our waitress was really nice as well. All in all, very satisfied.

I have been a customer of Denny's for more than 30 years. I have never had bad service in California. I've found their food and service consistently high. The waitress on my last visit was especially efficient and effective.

This place is THE place for my father and I. This is our go to when in the area or after my dental appointments. Yeah, I said it! Hahaha. It's a great spot with tons of natural light. The food is always as expected, don't expect more than what's already in line for Denny's! The place is always pretty clean, and the mood is always right. The staff is fantastic and they all try to give the absolute best service and experience. My girl, Penny, is the absolute best. My father and I try to always get seated where she will be our waitress. She always greets us with a smile and brings out the drinks ASAP. Refills, add ons and condiments, fast fast and FAST!!! She is on top of her game and a gem for the Denny's family. I'll definitely be going again.

We had a 9pm meal. The specialty brisket on Mac and cheese skillet (and all food) was hot and well prepared. We enjoyed the food and the servers were great. We were very pleased.

I didn't expect them to have great seafood but props to them. Quick service all the way around. This was around five o'clock and it wasn't too busy so no wait to get seated.

My experience was really nice. It Was pretty late not remember what time it was but it was for my wife birthday. we went to Six Flags and in our way home we got hungry and we decide to stop by. That soon that we enter all the waitress were pretty nice to us. They make me feel like I was in the best place. I can’t complain about the customer services, I really like it. Came in for breakfast today service was great , my hostess was PENNY if I could giver her 10 stars I definitely would she was such an amazing lady. Took my order with a smile even pack my left over food and put in a bag for me . I haven never been treated like that at a Denny’s she definitely a keeper and needs a raise! There were 8 of us. The waiter took our orders and never wrote anything down. He said the order back perfect! Everything was correct! Cooked perfect and delivered correct. We were very impressed!

First off I have to say that this place had no need to change or improve anything. The staff were so polite and so friendly that it really did make for an awesome meal time. They were so well prepared with suggestions for those who had no idea as to what they wanted to eat. This place is also great for a tight budget with there 2,4,6,8, menu. The flavor profile of all the food that my friends and I ordered we're so perfectly put together. All of the food came out hot and within reasonable time. When I am in the area again I am for sure going to keep coming back to this place. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience here. Love this place!!!

Great experience!! Service and food were both very good. We had a wonderful server, Jose. He has been our server on several visits and have found him always to be nice and helpful. Denny's has really has gotten much better, they have stepped up to the plate.

Always a good place to eat. had the Grand slam pick 4 item breakfast. But look at the whole menu. There's a cheaper version of the same breakfast and even a 55+ menu for $7.99. They have French vanilla and half&half for your fresh coffee.

We went for the free Beyond Burger promo. The burger looked great, but was DISGUSTING... but that's not their fault... we're meat eaters... just wanted to try it. The service was AWESOME though, and the fries were great.

Super Nice Denny’s, Friendly Staff, Good Food! I haven't been to a Denny’s in years but I was hungry and needed a hot meal. I parked my RV in the large parking lot they have and headed in. There were not a lot of people there dining when I stopped in. I found the staff busy cleaning and setting up for dinner. I was helped right away, ordered a breakfast special to go and looked around a bit while I waited. The meal was ready in no time and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I got a lot of food for just 8 bucks too! A great deal. I will start thinking about Denny’s now when I am traveling and I hope I have the same great experience as with this Denny’s. Great Job, 5 Stars!

Dennys is located in the town of Valencia off the highway 5. Upon arriving, we were greeted with a wonderful smile and a “how are you today?” Every staff member had bright eyes and a genuine smile. We ordered from the value menu: - Pancakes, Bacon and Medium Eggs - Pancakes, hash browns, sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs with cheese melted on top - coffee - water - orange juice The staff checked in with us almost every 5-8 minutes and were very quick with responding on refills. The food came super fast, I would say 3-5 minute wait. They also filled up our water bottle with water without question. Enjoyed our time here! Thanks Dennys and the amazing staff!

My friends and I go to this Dennys a lot; Anywhere from 12am - 3am. Service can be slow at these hours because there is usually only one cook and one server, but we don’t mind because we love our server Bonnie. She is always hardworking and a “no baloney” kinda gal.

Service was okay, the restaurant is starting to show wear. The air conditioner was dripping on me throughout dinner and the servers response was "oh yeah, it does that sometimes" the food was okay for fast casual and came out correctly. I will go again for late night food only.

It's a Denny's, so there's not much to say about it. The Manager was great. My dining companion has a service dog and we were not only NOT given any greif about it, the Manager saw his ACU pattern vest and came and spoke with the both of us about our service, as the Manager also served with the United States Army. They gave us a Military Discount without us asking for one. The staff was very nice and welcoming. There was a bit of an odor when we walked in, though. Otherwise, we had a lovely experience.

I had lunch there today with my brother and we tried a couple of their specials and I had the Mediterranean chicken. I even feel healthier because of that meal being served at Denny's. The service was good and I do recommend going to Denny's for meals. February 3rd 2026 and all I can tell you is that everything that happened in this restaurant between staff food and the service was just wonderful. They are just so thoughtful and friendly here it makes it a pleasure to be able to come to. May 22nd, 2025 I just had breakfast there with a friend looking at their new breakfast specials and they've had some lovely options. And more important than that, their food has been really good. I look forward to coming back.

Food was fine. I had red potatoes and a scrambled egg. Some of my potatoes were actually cold. I really like the seasoning they use. Husband had zesty nachos and he was a little disappointed because they weren't spicy at all but they did still have flavor. The service from Roberto was excellent. The kitchen did not keep us waiting long either. The restaurant was clean and I really like that.

As a note, this is not a review criticizing specifically this location alone. This is a review criticizing the "Denny's experience" and let me tell you something. This wasn't just a simple "try and review." This was certainly an experience. I have never once been to a Denny's as far as I can remember. I went with a friend and we decided to both order two different dishes but split evenly so we could both try everything together. I must say the Denny's experience is something everyone must try with one respectable other at least once. Go late at night (preferably around 1 - 3AM), put your phones down, order food, share the food, and make an experience out of the atmosphere at a Denny's as you sit there talking and rating the food. Or even just casual conversation. I must say one of the most intriguing experiences of my life.

While Denny's is one of my favorite franchise, i have to say I'm very disappointed in the staff. My server didn't give my 12 y/o a kids menu and refused when I asked for one. In addition, only 1/4 waters had ice and we never got any refills. We had to wait 20 minutes for our food and the table next to us it took them 40 min. However, the food was still cooked right.

We got our seat pretty quick on a Valentine's morning, no wait. But, it took a while for them to get our order and for the food to be brought to our table. Coffee wasn't that great. Food was ok, waitress was nice.

Bad service, they took a long time with our food, and they only attended to other people and not to our table until we stood up to ask something because no one was coming.

The food was great and with paired with the excellent service made our trip to Dennys a great experience

Dennys has taken a hit since COVID. They lost good help and haven't recovered them in my opinion. I had the T bone steak, I knew it was risky bit thought I'd try it. It was maybe 1/4 inch thick at best, ordered medium and it was not over cooked. However the meat was chewy, actually the filet side wasn't bad. The corn was tasteless, the salad, was salad. It's Friday night here and it's almost empty, but maybe too early for this location.

Stopped before the sun was up and overall the food was quick, tastey and service was good. Women's restrooms could use some maintenance and new locks on all the stall doors. It's my theory that everyone has a "Denny's period" of their lives...I've had several and whereas I feel past the point where I'd go here on a regular basis, every now and then, why not. So me and the fam headed here for a quick and easy breakfast and the experience was, indeed, "okay." The coffee was "okay." My favorite part about this was the phrase "It's Fry-O'clock Somewhere" printed on the mug. I mean if the coffee's going to be just okay, might as well give me something entertaining to read on the mug. The food was slightly less then okay, but only slightly. I had an omelet with swiss cheese and spinach, along with hashbrowns and an English muffin. The egg whites were a little overcooked and the swiss was not quite melted/cooked enough. The hashbrowns were definitely undercooked. My kid had a Beyond Burger and fries. They got it right and if you're a food-delivery app person and see "Burger Den" as an option...that comes from your local Denny's under this brand. My wife ordered eggs with tomatoes and spinach...it looked a little better than my eggs and she was smart enough to order her hashbrowns "crispy" so they also were, at the very least, cooked enough. Also, on the plus side they had a gluten-free english muffin option for here at no up-charge. That's pretty rare, so thanks Denny's for that! They took a long time to bring us our food too. When we were seated the restaurant was packed, and by the time they finally brought the food, it was mostly empty. I think the egg whites may have thrown them off. Not the end of the world, but an acknowledgement from our server would have been nice. Look, it's Denny's. I've had many good experiences in Denny's during high school and college with my friends. I'm never going to write them off...They do an okay job serving basic diner foods at all the possible hours. They're there for you. Denny's.

I've been to Denny's a couple times now as part of a midnight after party and I always get the same thing: good food but terrible service. The last time I went the waitress didn't even fill our cups nor give silverware. The food wait time was 1.5 hours; it was so long that I began to wonder if they were raising my buffalo boneless chicken wings from birth. The food itself is good. Maybe the service is better at earlier times of the day.

We usually stop here for lunch when traveling from Modesto to Los Angeles. In the past, it's been great. Today, (5/6/19), not so much. My chocolate milk smelled and tasted like alcohol. My daughter's order was wrong and her hashbrowns were severely undercooked. My pancakes were overcooked or had been sitting for quite some time as they were hard, not soft and fluffy like normal. The milkshakes were very runny. My other daughter's salad looked very wilted and not fresh at all. The service was great, our waiter, Roberto was very nice, and he didn't charge me for the laced chocolate milk (something must not have been rinsed very well, perhaps the glass itself). I don't know what to say about the line cooks. Maybe they were new, overwhelmed, or one was having a bad day. Based on this experience, I'm going to avoid this location for a while

Came in to the restaurant and noone was at the Hostess Desk,nor was there even a server to be seen and at the Hostesses Desk there was a sign on the front of it,that said "please wait to be seated", something like that. Anyways, stood there for 5 minutes, ghost town, noone!!. Grabbed two menu and seated ourselves. Still after pursuing the menu and knowing what we wanted and 5-10 minutes later, still not one employee in sight. Finally after 15 minutes of entering the restaurant,I got up and walked over to the kitchen area and saw like six employees in the kitchen just talking and chilling. I said do you think one of you guys could breakaway and take our order. Then there were three people out in the dining area checking on the other four patrons that were there before us. We ordered and 20 minutes later our food came out. Which for two sandwiches even I could of got out in 10 minutes,especially since the chef had only our two sandwiches to make. The reason for two stars rather than one,the sandwiches were good. Ok, way more than enough said.

My last visit here made me not want to come back. I like coming at night because most spots around close early. I forget her name but one of the severs is always so nice. I went last week during the day and the cup I had gotten was not clean. There was a piece of what looked like cheese on the outside of my water cup. I only noticed because when I took a sip from my water, there was a hair that shot up the straw and went into my mouth. It was disgusting but I didn’t want to make a scene so I asked for a new cup and told the waiter what happened. He apologized but seemed non chalant about it. I talked to the manager when I was paying and they both seemed unsure about how to handle the situation and gave me 20 percent off. But it doesn’t matter because I couldn’t enjoy my meal and after this experience I don’t want to go back. They didn’t really seem apologetic about the situation when I brought it up later. I had waited until paying to speak to the manager because I didn’t want to be dramatic but it was honestly disgusting because that hair was in my mouth. It also smelled really bad sitting by the tables near the bathrooms so I felt nauseous at one point.

Omg... Didn't stay to eat this time. Watching the waiter making preparations of the food was nasty, disgusting 🫣. I guess no one was supposed to see.... I'll stick to day shift from now on.

Food was good, service was SUPER fast.. because it was empty.. Likely because the place smells absolutely horrible. I wish I was exaggerating when I say the place smells like you're eating in a bathroom. I thought it was a fluke, but I went a couple times, weeks apart, and nope. It consistent smells like one giant restaurant restroom, which is the most off putting experience possible when trying to eat. If you cant smell, go for it. You'll love it.

I normally enjoy coming to this Dennys but today it was different, sitting down having breakfast and I had to experience the manager scolding the employees “ out loud “ very unprofessional and very uncomfortable for the customer.

They passed two large groups in front of my group of two, after we were next on the list and had been patiently waiting for over 20 minutes, and practically ignored us, didn't even say sorry. Employee went to help a group in front of us after we approached again to try and just get a to go order and then we decided to leave because at that point, we were very upset. Not a good experience and would not return. They seemed understaffed which we would have understood, but they left us ignored in favor of people who came in after.

Worst service ever. Got seated fast but took 25 minutes to get drinks offered and only because I asked the manager. 20 mins later they took our order, got food about 35 minutes later and never got asked if we needed refill on drinks. Payed my bill told supervisor I was not happy with the service told her how I felt she really dint care and charged me. And the table across us the waiter dropped the drinks on the customer's table and shirt and pants of a customer.

Called ahead to order a burger. The first time no one picked up the phone. Ordered it on the second call. Went to pick it up 20 minutes later. They hadn't started the order yet and said it would be another 20 minutes or longer. So I went to Jack in the Box. I'd finished that burger before the one from Denny's would have been made.

I took my partner here to get lunch before a family dinner. We were sat immediately, but the food took an hour to come to the table. The waitress came over twice to tell us it should only be a couple more minutes so we waited it out under false pretenses. While we were waiting for the food to come out I ran out of coffee and water and could not find my waitress to get a refill. When we ordered, my partners salad was offered as an included side by the waitress, but was charged as a side salad (he wasn't with me when I paid so I paid an inappropriate fee).

Bad service . Rude waitress. We waited 30min for them to take our order when they only had 3 tables .

The bathrooms were clean and that's about it. It took over an hr to get two kids breakfast. People who were seated well after us received their food first. Which of course set me off. And our waitress who kept switching never checked on us and kept walking as I was trying to talk to her about what my family needed. Basically we won't be back

Granted this was a busy day. Visiting from out of town with my family and the service here is so horrible im able to sit here and write about it. As its clear from the 25 minute wait for water and drinks after being seated. So it's clear the food will be a long time coming. Very very poor customer service... and a waitress grabbed the unused napkins from the table next to us and set them out for another table use. Smh... would give a zero review. This is our second Denny's and I will look for the first to give them 5 stars. The first in Pasadena had amazing staff with quick food and great service! Do not confuse the two and stay away from this one... all this review and still no food has arrived. Maybe I'll have time to proof read and grammar check as well...

There's a terrible stench to almost all the Denny's I've been to, but this one is the worst. Sewage problems I'm thinking, cause that what it smell like; sewage. Not something you want to smell when your eating. We stay cause we were super hungry, but it's awful.

ordered a meat loaf. they put very little tomato sauce. would not fix or replace

Waited literally 30 min for service whist seated at our table. Not once did any waiter come to us. Didn't take our drink order or anything. This place has guven us an abysmal service. They sat us down at a booth with no lights. Do better

I took my family and friends for a nice breakfast when my friend was ordering I was helping her and I was telling her what to say and then the waiter Alejandro told me to be quiet. Also he was very disrespectful and had a bad attitude. We tried informing him that is attitude wasn’t appreciated but he said that he did not care and just ignored us. Overall, this was not a good experience and I don’t recommend coming her.

The worst customer service….never coming back…. Waiter never came to sit my family down .,,we had to sit ourselves down …we had to ask for menus ,..we ask for a drink right away and No straws for our drinks…we ordered 2 simple meals and the waiter only brought one meal and our other meal, waiter forgot to punch it in the system and we had to wait another half an hour while we had finished our food…she never ask if we needed refills or hot spices!!! nothing not even napkins….so we asked for take out …we got there at 11:15am and left at 12:30am no discount..,not even a sorry…bad customer service….no one there is a team…We even ask the older man for help and he ignored us without helping his co workers he never asked if we needed anything…knowing that we needed help…all I saw the older man fooling around with this older women…we had to pay for bad customer service…

Food was fine, exactly how expected for a Dennys. The service however was inexcusable. Several servers working, maybe 6 tables total, so being busy and overwhelmed was not the issue. Had to ask for water twice, ice tea three times, wrong child's breakfast order, never checked on table or brought check. Restaurant itself is very pretty in design, ample parking and easy to get to.

The worst service we’ve ever had! It took 45 minutes to get 2 orders of kid’s menu pancakes. Meanwhile, we watched the servers and kitchen staff laugh and joke around while we waited unnecessarily for our order to be completed. We also received cold entrees that had to be sent back to the kitchen. When we asked to speak to a manager, the servers lied and said that the manager was not in the store and was not available. Once we explained that we were not going to pay for the kid’s food, the manager magically appeared but with a dismissive attitude. We do not appreciate the rude and poor service. We will never return nor recommend.

I don’t know how it was. I went there at 5:30 in the morning on all the windows it said open on the website said open 24 hours but they were not open so I went to one a few miles down the road same thing so to me, the service sucked if everything says open and they’re not

Got a skillet and was cold it had two green peppers and one red my skillet also had hamburger patty mixed with my chicken skillet we notify the manager n server and they told me no it's hot everything is hot i told her to touch the potatoes so she can feel how cold it is the sign does read hot bourbon chicken skillet ,I had the most horrible experience..the food was terrible. 😥

This is the worst Denny's. I've ever been Denny's like this one. I walked in and the waitress ignored me. I waited a little while. They gave us a table in a very rude tone. Our food was served quickly, but my food was burnt. There seems to be no appetite at all. If you are not white, don't come to this shop. I came here to get angry. They're racist.p

Place doesn't have CCTV coverage and while having breakfast someone breakin to our car and stole everything. It seems it is a very risky spot to go their for breakfast. These incidents are very common at this place. Absolutely avoid this place.

My waitress was the only waitress here at the restaurant, running circles and being overwhelmed while all the guys were behind the counter, not helping her and just telling her what she needs to do. I didn’t think that was very fair and I will not be coming here anymore. I went and I asked the guy that was standing in front of the cash register. If I could, please have more coffee since my waitress was busy with all the tables since it’s busy after a football game and he yelled across the counter and said that table wants more coffee. What kind of customer service was that?
