The ideal place to rediscover long-lost dishes... including catfish rice, fried frogs, and sturgeon. Alternatively, you can try fried gnocco, pumpkin tortelli, and tagliatelle with duck. I recommend the pike in sauce and sturgeon tortelli.

I'm one of those customers who doesn't look for a beautiful dish, but a GOOD one. I had a cold cuts appetizer with fried gnocco, and agnoli sourdough. The cold cuts were very good, as were the agnoli in broth. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is located in a very suggestive place, near Po, and this is very beautiful, just outside the town. It has tables both outside and inside. The dishes are good. Excellent pizza. The service was also good. The price is average.

Everything in this restaurant is delicious. We ordered pumpkin ravioli, which on this side of the Po is prepared without mustard but with parmesan cheese, and plenty of fried gnocco and cured meats.

Right on the riverbank, accessible by boat, bike, or car, we recommend Hostaria Vecchio Cornione. You can enjoy an appetizer of cured meats and gnocco fritto (also available with tigelle for dinner) and traditional Mantuan first courses. Excellent value.

The fried catfish was good, the eel was too tough and needed more careful cooking. The terrace overlooking the Po River was stunning. I don't understand why, in the heat, they couldn't open the windows, even though they were equipped with mosquito nets. The staff was rather aseptic; perhaps they had developed the typical customer allergies over the years. I drove 6 km out of San Benedetto on advice, but unfortunately it wasn't worth it. What a shame.

Typical location on the Po River, friendly but unprepared staff (I asked for licorice instead of limoncello, but they never brought it). We ordered appetizers, nothing special (no typical products), all from large retailers. The first course was ravioli with herbs, house-made zabaglione dessert, coffee, water, and house wine. Total €30.

A quaint restaurant located on the banks of Emilia's great river, the Po offers a breathtaking view, surrounded by unique colors and temperatures in every season, from the sultry heat to the humid cold. The restaurant has ample parking in front, and there are a few steps—easy to access and more once inside—nothing too difficult, but those with mobility issues should inquire. The restaurant has plenty of seating, spread across several rooms, some with river views. It is equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, and mosquito nets on the windows. The menu features typical local dishes, including pumpkin tortelli, risotto, macaroni, and homemade pasta. The main courses include freshwater fish, grilled meat, and traditional desserts. All portions are generous. The staff was welcoming, and the service was prompt, despite it being the Ferragosto holiday. The owners have set up a secure children's area, accessed via a gate and a descent to the river dock. They also welcome small boats on a "trip on the Po." To reach it by road, leave the main road, pass under the overpass and find the sign a short distance away.

È domenica, sono solo e decido di concedermi uno strappo alla regola: gnocco fritto e salumi. Chiamo per chiedere se hanno posto, salgo in moto e mi faccio i 30 km che separano casa dal ristorante. Ordino gnocco fritto e salumi con verdure pastellate fritte di contorno. Mi arriva un piatto di quadrotti di un qualcosa non lievitato che sembra piadina al posto dello gnocco mentre invece vedo girare cestini di vero gnocco fritto bello gonfio verso gli altri tavoli. Chiedo che mi venga sostituito, la cameriera mi risponde che ai clienti da soli servono questo "gnocchetto"..... Insisto, chiedo anche qualche fetta di salume in più vista la porzione molto scarsa, mi arriva un piatto che assomiglia allo gnocco fritto ma è mezzo crudo. So già che lo digerirò domani ma alle 13,30 ho un certo appetito, ne mangio 3 pezzi, lascio il resto, pago ( non voglio passare io per il disonesto!!! ) e me ne vado. Totale 28 euro, per il peggior gnocco della mia vita accompagnato da salumi e fritto di verdure della stessa ( pessima ) qualità . Mi hanno fatto pagare anche un'aggiunta di formaggi che non hanno servito. Morale: se siete soli non ordinate gnocco fritto ma se andate da un'altra parte è meglio. Anche in compagnia 😉

We happened to have lunch at the hosteria, a nice place overall, but unfortunately the owner doesn't treat his guests at the same level. We ordered Agnoli as a first course. It arrived in a dish that was obviously very poor. So far, no problem. Amen. I get furious because after a while, near us, you are a regular guest who eats the same dish as us, but with a different product, handmade Agnoli, and a much larger quantity. I specifically mentioned that I hadn't ordered the sorbir. I pointed this out and was offered a discount with cash payment without a receipt. The host was very rude.

High prices. Poor food. We had agnolini in broth (which weren't agnolini). The table next to us was served the same dish we ordered. Unfortunately, they were real yellow-textured agnolini, but in far larger quantities than ours. We pointed this out at the cashier, who thought we'd spoken heresy. Rudeness. And, for a lunch break, €40 per person was excessive. For everything. Never again.
