I eat here on a regular basis. Mainly bc my daughter Jenna works there. But their food is always fresh and delicious! Jenna practically runs the show, and may very well in the future! She often gets asked for by name, bc she knows her job and does it well! Bright personality, energetic, and you'll never leave without a smile on your face! I highly recommend...especially the party subs! Forgot to add pics...I was hungry! Lol I'll upload the next order, so you can see for yourself! Come...join us in eating healthier, losing weight, and just being in overall better health! So, come on down...maybe I'll see ya there!

This subway should be a teaching store. They kniw how the meats go on the bread. If u like subway you know. The meat has to be put on correctly for a proper taste. Even their mistakes are taken care of quickly

I've eaten here before and its good as well as today food was great as well as service. My sisters food had hair on the bread and the worker remade the whole thing and gave us free banana peppers and a discount on our meal so it was pretty great 11/10.

Came in this morning and got me a footlong BMT. Destiny was in a joyful mood which was nice to see that early in the morning. She was happy and very attentive and engaged in conversation. She made my sandwich perfectly to my specifications. And my overall experience was amazing. And I will most definitely be coming back as long as she is there :)

Absolutely wonderful workers by far this is the BEST Subway I have been to! Nice and informative. And the young girl that stuffs everything inside the sub before she cuts it...well she needs to train everyone lol it was nice to bite into a sub that doesn't fall apart everywhere!

Honestly, the order was correct and the staff was nice. Only complaint is the location. The cement leading into and out the drive thru is a bit damaged. But in regards to service wise it was expected top tier. 10/10 would come again despite the location just for staff, quickness of order and a correct order.

This location has always been my go to subway. The last couple times I've been there, the employee with all the tattoos hasn't been very friendly. None of the employees acknowledged people walking in to store or leaving. The conversation amongst themselves seemed to be more important than taking care of their customers. Rude!! I hope this turns around quickly.

Staff very helpful to extreme that the 2 girls working actually went out to the drive thru and helped a customer by standing behind her car n tucking and pushing it until it started and customer was on her way. Great service girls. Not one customer had to wait at all. They were also very knowledgeable about anything to dll with Subway.

Good, standard subway sandwich. Only four stars because the bag wasn't stuffed with napkins like usual. I need the napkins and never (45 years) had to ask for them before. (Edit) also drive thru, that's good.

This is a good subway. It's one of the few I've ever seen that actually have a drive-thru. Quality has gone down in recent years for most Subway's. This one is okay. Staff was nice and the sub was good. It's an older location I'm sure it has been there for thirty years or more. Despite this it was clean and well-run. 4 out of 5 because I save 5 for the best places ever

Good sandwich restaurant with lots of choices. The staff is usually pretty nice. It's almost always cold inside so if you plan to eat inside you should bring a jacket. My favorite sandwich is tuna with jalapenos on wheat bread.

Was really busy middle of lunch traffic and subway rep was in there sitting cross legged on a chair no shoes talking to 2 female employees of subway was a really bad thing to have to see honestly no bad actions were happening just a conversation about pay increase over next 3-5 years but it looked bad lol

I have been going to this location for years now. They have a drive through here which is nice. I do use the mobile app often and they almost always have my food waiting for me upon arrival. Recently though the service has been delayed and the store has been out of items or struggling with broken equipment.

Highly disappointed ordered an all American with tomatoes and green peppers online got to the restaurant to a sign that said no bacon, ham, tomatoes or green peppers. So I was left with a $14 turkey sandwich

Waited in the drive thru for 23 minutes. Nobody helped me i pulled up to the window . When she finally came to the drive thru she informed me they wait on the lobby customers before drive thru. When lobby is done then they take drive thru customers.

Went in before 5 p.m There was nobody in line. In fact, no other customers were there. The place was empty besides two little girls that must have been waiting for a parent to get off work. There was a female making some sandwiches for an order that was for delivery/call in. This girl never once said hello. Never said be with you in a moment. Never acknowledged that I was there. I received a call from my daughter and spoke to her for 4 minutes. Still, not once was I acknowledged. Got off the phone and still waited. She didn't acknowledge me until she was done with all 3 sandwiches she was making. Which was 7 1/2 MINUTES after walking in the door. Does this establishment not know how to greet someone or let them know they see you? I won't go back to this establishment. If you don't need the business, I can go elsewhere

I'm a fan of subway just not particularly this location I was under the assumption they where sandwich artists but I was sadly mistaken when you go to open your sandwich and half your toppings fall out cause you wrapped the paper in my sandwich not cool and don't use the soda machine because every soda is so carbonated it feels like your drinking straight from the co2 can we got problems all in all if you pass by just keep driving save yourself some money

Just a quick thought. If you order an hour in advance online and you still have to wait behind 7 customers just to get that sandwich made, then what's the point in ordering online. This has happened more than once here. I order online simply because most of the time I don't have the time to wait.

Food was good. Tasted really fresh. No complaints with that. Service was close to terrible. At first I seen only 1 employee, thought he was the only one there. Then 2 others popped out. The wait for a few simple sandwiches for folks in front of me took forever. The couple just ahead got tired of waiting and walked out. They were slow and nonchalant about what they were doing. I love music, but the music in the lobby was entirely too loud. I could hardly here the employee asking what I wanted, and had to keep asking again what they said. I came to this subway specifically because it had the better rating around the town. But I was, all together, not impressed or felt it was a 4.3 out of 5 by no means. I give it the stars I did only because the food itself was good.

When we were going to sit down inside, it was a little warm but thank god the employee opened all the doors so the sit down area became a 40 degree wind tunnel. There was a grandma sitting a couple tables away from us who approached the employee about the wind tunnel. The employee promptly told the grandma that while she only had to be there for 5 minutes, the employee had to be there for 10 hours. We became slightly worried about the safety of the establishment and decided to finish our subs in our car. Also, atmosphere was weird.

This place is VERY UNCLEAN the lady making the sandwiches had no gloves on and didn’t wash her hands between making them she touch her hair back and more and touched food they also judged me for not wanting cheese as I am allergic almost walked out burnt it in the toaster after I said I did not want it like that made 15 dallied for one sandwich will not return

Pretty sad they hire teenagers and they mess up a sandwich because they talking . How hard is it to take a online order that tells them what the person wants. Was even on our receipt how we ordered it but they cant even do it right. They need to watch the cameras to see what there employees are doing and talking about when they are supposed to be doing a order.

I drove 3 miles off of I-75 to grab a sandwich. Google said you closed at 1000 pm, sign on your door says you close at 1000. I pull into your parking lot at 930 and your store is so closed even your staff has already left for the night. A very crummy way to treat customers. I would have given you zero 🌟 if Google permitted

It was the dirtiest subway I have ever been in. Trash on floors, tables dirty. And noone else was in there. Didn't have forks but wasnt told that when ordered a salad was told that after had already paid.

Literally the worst service ever. The manager kept calling the employees back one at a time while serving their customers and it totally slowed the line down. The guy who replaced our cashier was scratching so much it made me itchy. We asked for 6 cookies and he gave us burnt cookies and we had to tell him multiple times that we wanted 6 because he kept putting less than that in the bag. The guy who made our sandwiches put teeny tiny bits of veggies on our sandwiches. We had to keep asking for more veggies. It took us about 30 minutes for 6 of us to go through! We will never go here again.

Ordered dinner on the app and waited until the app said the order was ready before heading to subway and I live about 20 minutes away from the subway in sweetwater and when I arrived to pick up my order and stood in line I told the boy I was picking up a online order and showed him the app on my phone he looked behind him and looked back and and said nope it’s not ready it’s not even been started I said oh ( not even upset cause restaurants get busy and I’m not the only customer they have) the app said it was ready and was fixing to just go have a seat and wait but he decides to look at me and say yeah the app might say that but does it look ready to you and proceeded to laugh then tells me and the other two customers in the store that he wishes we would start going to the new Wendy’s across the road and give him a break. I come here twice a week but I believe from now on I will be giving Athens Subway my money from now on and that’s sad cause I’ve been going here for years and have never had any problems but my last three visits have been awful since this little boy has come to work for this subway

I came to get lunch and the ginger head little girl was so unprofessional. She was touching everything with her gloves including putting her hands in her pocket, and touching her hair. She then didn’t change her gloves between customers after taking money from the drive thru window. I think the company should address this issue because she’s making people’s food and messing with people livelihood. She could really hurt someone with her not being clean. Would not recommend going through the drive thru when she’s there or even eating here. Eat here at your own risk.

So this bad experience I had on Monday the 3rd at the drive through, I got there at 9 pm, I went through the drive thru, pulled up to the speaker, sat there waiting for a respond, I heard nothing and I had to say something again, she was very rude said we are closed, the drive thru closes at 10 as it always on normal hours, she completely ignored me and was extremely rude ! She needs to be fired !

Use to be a great place when under old management. Now, don't waste your time. Staffed with very young employees, can only function one thing at a time. Eat in guests are ignored by employees doing drive thru. Finally left without ordering do to their slow pace. The place needs a lot better supervision.

WORST experience I’ve had at Subway in a while. Whoever is the manager over this place should be ashamed. I went this evening to get dinner. One costumer was in the store waiting. Upon entering, the prep station for everyone’s sandwich was COVERED with random pieces of meat, shredded cheese, and veggies. The American cheese was unrecognizable due to some kind of sauce and seasoning being all over it. NO ONE and I do mean NO ONE was in a hurry to make our subs or greet us. There was a total of 5 people working. 2 guys that where preparing to count a drawer and 2 girls and 1 guy just standing around, one girl with black hair was yelling telling people to go ahead and clock out. The other girl was leaving, while on her way out she was squealing loud and laughing extremely loud about a dog or something??? The other 2 guys are attempting to count the drawer. I had to repeat my order MULTIPLE times and the guy still didn’t put the correct meat on my sandwich. The lettuce was brown. The knife that would be used to cut the sandwiches had so many different sauces on it and the young boy fixing my sandwich attempted to dip in the water 5 times. It still wasn’t clean, I ended up telling him not to cut my sandwich. As they where preparing a different sandwich for someone else, the girl working in there made the comment about how nasty the knife was and that they never wash the wash it!!!! The guy laughed and said “yeah I don’t ever wash that thing” Lastly, before leaving the two boys that where actually working went to pass the head phone to the other boy and girl that where preparing the sandwiches. The girl made the comment that she was going to shut the drive through down because they probably wouldn’t be able to handle it alone. The boy made the comment that he was never trained to run it. If a health inspector was to come in when I did, I wouldn’t be surprised if that place was shut down. Flies where flying around, meat wasn’t cold, and nothing was clean. Food bins are covered in ice from the coolers. I do not completely blame these young kids for their complete and utter ignorance at all. The managers should’ve never left teenagers alone to close the store. Since Renee and the old crew left, this place had went completely down hill. It is sad to know that one of the restaurants that everyone should be able to rely on, isn’t as reliable as it should be. I will not be returning to Subway again.. PLEASE KNOW I AM ONLY LEAVING A STAR JUST SO I CAN POST THIS. NO STARS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THIS STORE. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I was at the subway store on Main Street, Sweetwater, Tennessee, about 12:30 this morning. Employees that were working at that time we're inappropriate and unprofessional. Talking about how my personal piercings were showing through my shirt, and when I tried to talk to a manager about it, they were rude and acted like nothing happened. I am a continued customer, I am there either every week or every other week with my family on myself, I will never step foot back in this store, they made me feel violated in a comfortable and I wanted something done about it

I'm unsure of the atmosphere in the Sweetwater location as the lobby is always closed after 7:30 PM. I am directed through the drive thru where I am certain to repeat my order at least twice only to discover my sub is missing cheese, or sauce and is ice cold after requesting my sub to be toasted. I know it can get busy - but I'm just asking for a sub. If you listen closely... I'll tell you what I want. All you need to do is be a good listener. No beuno.

The female cashier was more worried about the phone I was using than the coupons my husband and I were redeeming with our purchases and overcharged us. When I pointed this out she stated my husband didn't present his coupon, which was not the case at all. We used digital coupons and he set his phone directly in front of her and she asked him to move it. When he reminded her if this she then tells him that she didn't even have the proper training to correct her error!!!! Poor training and really the food was mediocre at best.

Wouldn't use the subway coupon for the 3 subs saying we have an in store deal that is no deal at all. It's almost double the subway coupon which tells me they just a greedy franchise. They will be kick to get our business again.

Went in the restaurant seemed clean at-least the lobby area was . My concern was the management’s demeanor was so horrible she had her trainees on the edge as they was young and seemed scared to do anything. She put off a vibe that I did not even want to tell her to add a drink . She clearly seemed to hate her job the kids she was training and anyone ordering was annoying to her. It was the most awkward situation I ever had or felt. I was so uncomfortable about ordering so much so I just paid for what I got and went to the store beside them and got a drink just to make sure she was not bothered anymore to do her job I know it’s hard to find employees but please look for better management if not this store is gonna be the next on the list for leasing .

I would post 0 stars if I could, I sat in line for over 20mins and noone came over the drive through speaker to tell me they couldn't take my order cause they were closing soon. Soon being the 20mins I sat there cause there was a truck in front of me that took up all that time. You didn't have the decency to tell me that so you should have taken my order since I sat there waiting plus the girl screamed when I came up to the window and walked away couldn't even tell me herself

They need to hire people who care, I have went by there twice this week, (1-27-2023) and both times I was not waited on. (I was going through the drive through both times), I should of learned from the first. I was giving them the benefit of doubt. If you don't like your job dealing with people, get a new job but not in manufacturing you wouldn't last a day.

First time ever leaving a review for something negative. Never in my life have I had someone YELL at me when trying to order. After waiting 5 minutes as the only person through drive through, the lady who "attempted" to take my order rudely asked what I wanted, when I tried to explain, I was yelled at for not ordering the exact way she wanted me to. My fiancé and I drove off due to this experience. I will be telling multiple people in Sweetwater about this experience. On top of this, after reading the recent reviews, it seems that management neglects the willingness to correct these matters.

They apparently let homeless people sleep inside. They also had an employees kids there watching there phone loudly. After all that they got my order wrong 🤦‍♀️

Horrible person that helped me out. She was the lady with the big black tattoo on one of her forearms. You could tell she hated her job. Ordered a footlocker and a wrap for my wife with chips. I thought I was getting the combo . My fault for assuming. When I went grab my cups for the drinks she said you didn't get drinks. I told her I brought the chips to the counter and assumed it was going to be the combo. I paid 35 dollars. She stated to me well you need to say your doing the combo. Do you want the drinks and proceded to charge me for the drinks. I was fuming but bit my tongue because there was a line behind me. Normally I would have raised hell with her. Very rude with a didn't give a shit attitude. I am sorry I left a tip.

Wouldn’t even leave one star if I didn’t have to. They messed up my protein bowl and I called to let them know and they told me they would remake it. Well I get all the way back there and the lady is trying to tell me I ate half of the bowl already (which is got I got the bowl in the first place) and that they couldn’t remake my order then proceeded to run her mouth to me talking smart

This past Saturday, we passed this Subway at 9:35pm leaving a baseball tournament at Sweetwater High School. We saw the "Drive Thru Open" sign so we turned around and pulled in. I got in the drive thru at 9:38 and there was one vehicle in front of me at the speaker. We sat there for over 20 minutes behind that car. We assumed they had several sandwiches so we waited patiently. At 10:01pm that car finally pulled forward to the to go window, was given 1 drink, and they pulled away. The employee then got on the speaker and said "It's now 10:02, we are closed". I said excuse me and she repeated. I explained that I had been sitting in the drive thru since 9:38 and she should allow me to order. She simply said "we're closed". By this time, even the Wendy's next door was closed so we had no other nearby options for food. So we headed toward the interstate and spent our money outside of Sweetwater. I post this in hopes that the franchise owner sees it and coaches their employees on customer service. It was pretty evident to me that the car in front was a friend and they were simply socializing until closing time. In a hospitality business, this is unacceptable.

This place is a mess every time but tonight was the last straw. My daughter wanted subway for dinner so against my better judgment, I ordered online, figuring they won't mess up if it's printed for them. WRONG! Had to go back to get half the order that wasn't in the bag. What we did get were 2 cold Philly sandwiches, one with no cheese and meat on only half the sandwich. This place is a joke and needs new managers.

Just came thru didn’t even give me the correct sub the boss it’s a meatball sub and just the veggies and mustard I asked for. No one is there and y’all can’t pick up the phone. What a shame

I can't judge the food or atmosphere. However, let's talk about the drive thru.... I sat in my vehicle for over 20 minutes with no movement. Also, I was sitting at the menu..... A gentleman was talking to the car ahead of me when I pulled in. That car moved up with 1 car ahead of them. No one spoke out of the intercom....nothing. So, yep, I bounced out of there. Those two cars just stayed. I, however, value my time.

Ordered a Philly cheese steak wrap They used flat bread I requested the meat heated with the onion, green pepper and cheese on it. NOTHING WAS HEATED My father went to pay, his card declined so he went to pay with cash and got a "...is that cash..?" I know how hard it is at subway, I used to work at one, it is not this damn hard to do your job right

Went to this subway while passing through town. There were only two employees and I understand that’s not their fault, but they had zero sense of urgency when the line was 10 people long. One of them was moving so slow and looked stoned and spent most of the time I was in there, in the back, leaving the other person to do everything alone. The other was wearing a mask and coughing a lot. I’m hoping he doesn’t have COVID as he coughed right over my sandwich(granted he had a mask on but he still didn’t even turn his head or put his mouth into his elbow when he coughed. Just coughed right over the sandwich and line of ingredients) I paid $1.60 extra on two sandwiches for fresh mozzarella and wanted provolone too. He gave me two half slices of provolone and 2 slices of the mozzarella and staggered them so not a single bite had both. So I got half the cheese and paid extra! He also didn’t put enough meatballs on the sandwich to reach the end of the sandwich so both beginning and end bites were just plain bread. Not great service.
