Kelly was the server please make sure you never get rid of her. She was very attentive excellent service she knew her very well She came back to check on the table within two minutes of our second bite. This is the type of service. I like my wife wanted the banana foster but she made it excellent substitute and we both were very very pleased. Great job Kelly I will return.

Our food was very good. It came out fast and hot. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with our orders. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable to eat in.

Great experience. My server, Grace, was awesome! Very understanding and kind. I was with my grandma and it was very relaxed. I got biscuits and gravy which were very nice and filling. Prices are great as well. I just wish most of the menu wasn't over 1000 calories.

My brother and I headed here for a late night meal around midnight. Danielle was an absolutely delightful server, and Isaiah and company smashed it with our food orders. The pancakes were delicious, the eggs were perfectly prepared, the bacon was crispy. I'll definitely be back for another late night meal next time I get hungry! Went on Thanksgiving day at 2 am. Me and my son had a light meal the female who took our order was extremely accommodating and nice, I asked if I could sit at the bar where they were getting silverware ready and she cleaned everything off and served us there(she didn't have to do that and went out of her way) I could have sat somewhere else since the place was pretty empty thanks for an awesome experience next time I'm back in ny I'll bring the whole family

I go to Denny's often I love the food and prices but most of all I love the service I receive when I walk in they know who I am the staff is wonderful but I must say that Kelly is absolutely the best she takes awesome care of me and I see she treats her customers with care she is one of the reasons I come to that location she is absolutely the best!

The thing about Danny's food is that it always lacks the seasoning, but I kinda like that because i can put the salt and pepper myself. I have fried steak dinner, and it was a huge portion, and the mesh was good. Service was good as well. When it comes to the seating, I wish they wouldn't have squished the booths so close to having more seating because my belly was touching the table I was eating. We visited last Sunday and it was very busy around 11 am. We were seated immediately and given menus and offered beverages. Our waitress was Mary, and you did an amazing job! She didn't stop the entire time we were there. Mary remained pleasant, and the Pancakes were so fluffy we couldn't stop eating them!!!

It's great. Prices are good for the food that I eat here. And my server Mariah was incredible last night. Very customer oriented and friendly. Doesn't serve and leave you high and dry. Doesn't stick around to hear your sob stories, but never abandoned me either. She checked back with me here and there. I left her a tip about as much as my food bill. I hope that this girl stays because she's that good at her job. Food was excellent as is the norm here at this Denny's. Mondays are usually a bust for the staff. But she was still pleasant to work with. And I go here for good food and service. Not to get to know the servers. Only take away is that you now only get 8 boneless wings for $10.99 instead of 12 or even 10. Silverware was clean, unlike other restaurants and the cook here is really good at his job. 5 stars all the way, no take aways. And this Dennys is Trucker friendly. so I'll definitely be back , God willing always. Definitely a solid cook at this location.

We were so lucky to have our hotel next door to this Dennys! I have Celiac disease and cannot have gluten. The waitress and cook were very mindful of this when preparing my omelette and hash browns, and I am happy to report I did not get glutened! The food was great and hot. Our waitress was fantastic. My only small qualm is that the women's restroom was dirty in 2/3 stalls- however as we were leaving, I heard staff talking about how it would be cleaned ASAP. This seems like a great location!

My experience at Denny’s this past week has been probably one of the most enjoying engaging experience. I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. I haven’t been in the Denny’s restaurant in over 20 years. It’s because of Tiffany my waitress I’ve had the same waitress the past three days I’ve come to eat.. She smiles she’s engaging. She’s funny she’s knowledgeable. She’s efficient and she has a beautiful spirit. She keeps me coming back. Customer service is all about food will speak for itself. Quality really hasn’t dropped. It could be tweaked in a few places, but that’s expected pleased, but it’s really Tiffany who makes the experience for me with the rest of the team, but she used the crown jewel. But I am pleased to see much improvement, recently we have gone to the Carrier Circle Dennys and have been very satisfied with the service, food selection and quality of the food. It's Denny's... Fast food .. we like this location because the servers are nice. They are attentive. No one bothers us. Sometimes we will go with a group and we'll sit for an hour and a half and they don't try to rush us out the door or anything. So in that aspect it's awesome. They're all is a space available for your group that you can call and privately reserved for no charge. If we're going to pick a Denny's we pick the one on Carrier circle or the one on 7th North street. Good luck with either. The low stars for the food well it's Denny's. It is what it is. The food is decent and if they make a mistake on your order it is fixed without complaint quickly.. I will reiterate though that the staff at both locations go above and beyond are awesome so remember tip your waitress as well! :-)! 😁😁😁😁

I live in downtown Syracuse and we drive to about 15 to get to this store because the service is great in the morning. I have never been in the evening. The breakfast crew are the best. That’s the two early morning girls. I think they work at 6:00 and the other works at 9am. They always have a smile. Now I don’t go to any other Denny’s.

If you happen to go and have the pleasure of Sara being your server, she is absolutely the best. Great personality and OVER the top service!!! The building itself is a little older but in pretty good condition. It was a rainy day for us and they had a leak in one of the (women's) bathrooms, but it was being well managed so as to avoid any problems or dangers to guests. Food and prices were phenomenal!!! 3 of us ate for a little over $30 (brunch-breakfast foods) plus tip, but more than plenty (I took 1/2 of mine to go)! The coffee was EXCELLENT and I do not say that about ANY place! I'm very particular about my coffee!! I had the stuffed brioches French Toast with berries, my mother had the senior omelette, and my sister had the plain French toast. The restaurant in general was very clean, pleasant music playing (upbeat 70s). Please stop by this Denny's and enjoy a nice relaxing meal!

First time eating at Denny's and it exceeded my expectations by far. My Uncle took my husband and I out to eat here and I ordered the breakfast which included an egg omelet, bacon, sausage and pancakes. I should have taken a picture but all I wanted to do was eat after my first bite. I expected fast food quality but received restaurant quality. The food was delicious and I was very pleased when I learned they had sugar free syrup. By the way it tasted just like regular maple syrup and over the fluffy pancakes it was delicious. My husband ordered a Beef brisket skillet plate. Actual it originally was chicken bourbon skillet but he requested the chicken be replaced with beef brisket. I did take a picture of that. We all enjoyed the food and Catherine our hostess was amazing. She was welcoming and engaging. She frequently came back to the table to see if we needed anything else. Unfortunately in this day in age that kind of customer service isn't always easy to come by. If the food is good that's great but if the customer service is good I will be an returning customer. I was fortunate enough to experience both.

Excellent food at this Denny’s location. I got the Cinnamon Roll Pancake Slam which was perfect - the pancakes had a sweet and delicious taste and the eggs, hashbrown and bacon/sausage was cooked well. The skillets were just as good - savoury and had a good blend of flavours. Even the lasagna was one of the best that I’ve had. The service was a little slow but the food is worth it.

I recently visited Denny’s in East Syracuse and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. My server was attentive, making sure my coffee was always topped up and that everything was to my liking. The menu had plenty of classic diner options, and my meal was served hot and fresh. The eggs were cooked the way I liked it🍳 , and the bacon 🥓 was perfectly crispy . The atmosphere was comfortable, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!

I had breakfast on my business visit to Syracuse NY. The service was great even that the sweet waitress lady was super busy. The price was acceptable and if I need to mention something that could be improved is the food. I had two eggs with hash browns and a steak. The eggs were watery I don't know why... The service was great! Our server was super friendly and gave us great advice for places to visit. The food was tasty and lots of it. The bathrooms really needed some attention. I do wish that the obnoxiously loud and stoned teenage boys were asked to keep it down. They were talking sooooo loudly and were being quite vulgar. I didn't appreciate hearing it for myself let alone my 2 daughters.

It's a good places. The food has some problems with not being seasoned such as the chicken fried steak but the hash brown and slam witch was amazing. Over all there is some good food and not so good food. The service was fine and not anything bad. We actually got extra good when there was a mistake a when they were cooking so that was cool. The atmosphere was alright it was a bit stuffy but it's a big chain dinner so its expected. Over all great time, good food, and place.

This location has the iconic Denny's food. They work hard and care about servicing their customers. If you ever have slow service here, please remember they are fulfilling online orders all day as well as serving patrons in restaurant. I applaud the work ethic here of the night crew. It isn't easy handling frustration and service at the same time. Stay excellent and positive guys! Keep providing us with that tasty late night food! And any other time of the day as well.

Waitress is always friendly. She knows our order from previous visits but asks if there are any changes. Puts it in right away. The only drawback is the wait for food. They have to alternate between restaurant orders and take out orders, which creates a long wait for our meals to get to the table. They need a better flow and cook line to work on both order sources.

The food was ok at best. Onion rings we're not tasty at all. Burger was decent, but the service is what shined. The lady was friendly and made sure my drink was full. Something rare nowadays.

Not having very much luck with service at Denny's while in New York State, but, stopping in here tonight, I found Lindsay to certainly be an upgrade over my other two experiences. Plus she has a nice smile and a good spirit about her. I had the Lasagná and it is the one thing that is consistently good around the USA. It is a nice addition to the Denny's Menu. Filling as well. Store was clean and I was glad I drove to this location. Thanks Lindsay and Denny's team!

Our server, Theresa W., was an extremely friendly and attentive individual who provided excellent service throughout our dining experience. She consistently checked on us to ensure that all our needs were met. I believe that Theresa's exceptional service is worthy of recognition by the management. Regarding the food, it was satisfactory overall. There was a slight mix-up with our order during our first visit, but we decided to proceed with the meal as it was. On our second visit, our orders were fulfilled accurately. In summary, I would gladly revisit the establishment if I am in the area again, primarily due to the exceptional hospitality provided by Theresa.

When I was waiting to be seated the cashier seemed like he would rather be dead than working there. Although his and another just girl jokingly fought to take my check. The waitress was nice, also her smile and presence seemed to be a little forced. I was so excited that they had country fried steak. When I got it I was a little disappointed, that it was much smaller than I expected and it was very greasy. It doesn't seem like they let the food drain before putting it on my plate. Hash browns and eggs were good.

When I go out to eat I go more for the service and human interaction than the food. After all, if I just want to eat, I can eat at home. I guess this makes me a little unusual, as does the fact that I am a night person. I love the people at this Denny's. They are familiar and warm. It's always nice to see them. Unfortunately, I do have one MAJOR frustration with this location. The overnights are iffy. Three times now I have driven over to get a meal between 1-4AM (the sign says it's 24-hours), and the restaurant was either closed or closing. No amount of kind, warm, friendly staff can undo arriving at a business that is closed when its signage says it's supposed to be open. My advice is to call ahead. When this site is open, it's great. It's clean, and the food is exactly what anyone would expect. The people are nice. I can sit for a while and do some paperwork, or organize myself, and no one is bothered by this. It might be better to take the 24-hour signage down.

I walked in to order to go. Management was very dramatic and hostile towards two employees in a very unprofessional manner, interrupting during my order multiple times. I felt terrible for the waitress and uncomfortable myself. The matter was not urgent, and it was petty. If I had a manager like that, I would drop my apron, leave, and figure life out. Extremely uncomfortable and very unprofessional manager. On top of the ridiculousness with all that, I'm currently waiting for my order, writing this review, listening to constant screaming, cursing, and racial slurs coming from the kitchen staff.

Our table was very sticky. Still after they got done washing it. My food wasn't cooked all the way. I ordered well done eggs with a little bit of yolk and I got sunny side up. They weren't cooked million at all and the receptionist was pretty rude.

Went to Denny's on Thompson Road for dinner on Saturday, March 15th around 4:15pm. Only 1 waitress on serving multiple tables. She did the best she could, not her fault. My Mother and I both ordered the Brisket Mac & Cheese skillet. The brisket was very dark, but did not have a burnt taste. The mac & cheese was maybe 1/4 cup spread across the whole skillet. This cost $16.99 which was ridiculous for the amount of food there was. If you want a great brisket mac & cheese for a great price and healthy portion try Angry Smokehouse in Baldwinsville, you won't be disappointed like I was at Denny's! This probably explains why so many of them are closing, short on staff and mediocre food. Kudos to the waitress who did her best.

Went this morning and when my husband and I walked in, a young man at the counter told us that it would be a 45-60min wait time. I was confused of who he was, because I couldn't tell if he worked there or not. We did decide to stay and wait. The server 'Theresa' was very nice and was doing a great job. The atmosphere itself, very unprofessional at times. The food was ok, not great, but ok. The hashbrowns were not cooked well and the silverware were not so clean.

First of all, this is a decent restaurant. Particularly for early breakfast for those of us that have to be at work before 7:00. I'm new to the area but I specifically looked it up in the internet …

The food took over 45 minutes to come out and the restaurant was less than half full. The burger was good but the chicken melt was pretty gross (recipe, not chef's fault). The server was calm and responsive. We were going to order ice cream but were told the ice cream machine was very "runny" and not great- we appreciated the honesty!

Tables and menus are sticky and the bath room is a mess + the kitchen is real slow to get orders out in time it's always an excuse in this place....

I out an online order in estimated time for pick up was 1140-1145 arrived at the restaurant none of the employees knew what they were doing and seemed very confused I left and came back my order still wasn't ready! Traveling all day and after we checked into our hotel we came over around 11pm ish. Waited a little for someone to greet us at the front which was okay but it seemed like she automatically disliked us. She pointed us where to sit which ended up being a dirtier booth, at least on the ground that was and we waited for a long time. During the wait another customer walked in and a different employee immediately brought them to their table and handed each of them a menu that we hadn't even received yet. The person who initially greeted us finally came over to ask what drinks we wanted and we specifically had to ask for a menu afterwards. Whenever she was around it seemed like she would always avoid eye contact and the atmosphere whenever she was around made it feel like we were in the wrong. Meanwhile she was cracking a few jokes with other customers. At some point I believe that employee left for the night and the employee that I mentioned earlier started to take care of us and the service was definitely a lot better after. Yes it did seem like they were understaffed so food after ordering definitely took a solid chunk of time enough so that we wish we would have gone somewhere else. I ordered a well done sterloin and got a medium rare but I'm not one to complain to servers/cooks about the food so I ate it. The other food I got was delightful so no complaints there.

The food wasn't great. The kids macaroni was reheated Kraft. It was bland and there was barely any cheese. The bacon was overcooked and the pieces were small. I had a turkey sandwich with bacon and cheese, it was flavorless and mediocre. There was also a urine smell when you walked in the door. The bathroom felt cleaner then the dining area. The waitress was great, super friendly, apologized when we had to wait because she was the only waitress and it got busy. I would recommend this place for her alone but the food isn't worth it.

Food was poorly handled. I got food poisoning from this location. The line cook was very loud and complaining the whole night. We even heard complaints from the servers. I was cashed out 2:24AM. Fries were fried in cold oil which made fries saturated with oil. Cheese sticks were fried to the point of having no cheese. Burger was raw and cold in the middle. We were not notified that there was no lettuce. So we had burgers with no fixings. The fries were mixed batched of fries. Meaning the food was mixed with other food that was cooked at a different time. For all I know they could have been serving us food from another person's plate. This Denny's has made me decide I will never go to another Denny's again. Also the servers need to learn how to introduce themselves. I didn't get a single name till I got the receipt.

NEVER ORDER PICK UP FROM THIS PLACE!! My Uber eats driver was waiting for 30+ minutes for my food even though on the app it said it was ready for pick up 10 mins before he even got there. The lady that told him it’ll be 2 minutes (ended up being 30+ mins). She kept him waiting and finally realized the food he was waiting for was at the pick up table the whole time ready to be picked up. Made him wait unnecessarily all that time also gave him an attitude my food was gross, soggy and cold. Never again. I called to complain driver told me it was some lady with a hat about 5’2 brunette. Very rude lady on the phone. Rude to my driver. I will be filing a complaint with corporate. Save yourself the trouble don’t order from this location. Unprofessional service.

Really bad customer service. No care was put into personality or being presentable when it came to front end staff. Very disappointing as this was a great establishment for a long time. And is now in decline.

I took my adult children out to dinner after they completed some work for me. Our waitress and the food were perfectly fine. After we completed our meal, I went to the counter with my partner and paid for dinner. Not complaining, our bill was close to $100. As my children completed putting their leftovers in containers, they came and started walking out with us. Thank goodness I had not made it out the door yet, after I paid all that money, the young man at the counter tried to stop my children telling them they had to pay for their food. We walked in together, ate together, and left just about together. He was demanding - it would have been different if he had asked if we were together. If you chose this location, make sure you bring your whole group to crowd the register when you pay so you do not have embarrassed guests trying to leave.

Last night, my boyfriend and I ordered food for pick up. It said it will be ready at 4:03am, my boyfriend goes inside they said another 15 minutes, he’s goes again they tell him another 15-20 mins. Waited over an hour for our order for it to be nasty! Wasn’t cooked fully and got cold fast. Only thing we ate was the mozzarella sticks everything else still here in the bag. For a place that’s open 24 hours you would think they would offer top service or better quality food, NOPE!

This place is mis managed. I ordered my food 8:45 for 10pm pick up. When I got there to pick she said wait for two minutes and those two minutes turned into 45 minutes because they never start my order. This place is horrible. Food was not that good either

The restaurant was almost completely empty. The food wasn’t anything special. The server (Kelley R) brought check while we were still eating. My daughter wasn’t able to finish and we were going to get a to go container. We waiting over 20 minutes trying to get the server’s attention, but she seemed to be actively avoiding looking in our direction. We ended up paying and leaving the food there. Hopefully she sees this and will understand why she was left with less than 10% tip.

This location on Thompson Road is absolutely horrible! Made an online order that took over an hour to complete. When I arrived, 25 minutes after placing the order, the food hadn't even been made yet. Didn't even know there was an order set. When I got home, food was barely warm, got food I didn't order and didnt get the food that I DID order. Sadly, this isn't even the first time. I don't recommend ANYONE to go to this location.

Hello, I want to report a very unprofessional experience I had today at your Denny’s location on 6591 Thompson Road, Syracuse, NY regarding my online order #39790884924735491. I arrived to pick up my order and politely told the employee that my name is Ridha. Unfortunately, the older female employee at the counter treated me very disrespectfully. She misread my name on purpose, saying “Raja,” even though my name was clearly written on the receipt. When I showed her the confirmation email, she said she “couldn’t read,” and her tone was rude and dismissive. She made me wait 15 minutes while walking back and forth in front of me without acknowledging me. When I asked politely if I could get my order, she said, “I’m busy,” with an attitude. When I finally received my order, I realized that my Minute Maid Orange Juice (priced at $4.29) was missing, even though I paid for it. This experience was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I am requesting: 1. A full refund for the missing Orange Juice ($4.29) 2. That you address the rude behavior I experienced from this employee

We came from a 5-hour car drive and it was too early to check into our hotel so we stopped here to eat at 10am. We arrived at the door and from across the room the waitress told us out loud where to sit. Got to the table and seats were still sponge wet & greasy. She saw that we weren't sitting so she pointed to another table to go to instead. We ordered our drinks and shortly afterwards she came back to take our orders. We sat there over an hour without food and we watched the door as people were leaving. We overheard the waitress turning people away to say they were short staffed and that they could be seated but would take over an hour for their food to come. That's the first time we knew the reason for our delay. She eventually brought our breakfast and it was ok but not worth the wait. The tip options for paying by card started at 18%. I reluctantly gave it to her because it was out of her control however, a polite heads up before we ordered would've been nice. On another note, the restaurant could use a good cleaning.

Food and service was good. Way overpriced. $5 for a glass of soda is absolutely ridiculous. And $60 dollars for 2 meals that would probably be $20 any place else is unacceptable. Will probably never step into that place again.

Ok so staff was nice, I went in twice once the night before around 3am. I specifically asked the waitress if it would be ok to order the nachos & cheese. She said it was good so I did. I drove 19hrs was beat so I quickly went to my hotel room. Well neatless to say meat & both cheeses was good but nachos was so nasty I had to throw it out. I try again this time ordered 2 meals & take out. As my sister orders the SAME waitress attends us does not say anything. I told her about the nachos nothing was done just a " there normally good, there frozen nachos that we fry". I looked at her like seriously 😡. So this time around coffee cold, the so called country chicken was in fact NOT CHICKEN & RAW. I now explain my second complaint & waitress says " yes it's nasty that's why I never eat that myself". Like for real I stopped eating my food paid the $34 dlrs plus tip & left. My first time in Syracuse NY & this was definitely a turn off. Never again will I come here. I smiled & was nice being a minister but I definitely don't recommend. Oh & veal is NOT chicken FYI. My food should have been free & if you get orange juice don't drink it fast because refills are not free.
