Highly recommend. Authentic Chinese food that's very flavorful. We were on a road trip and hit bad traffic from Toronto to Syracuse, so we got there later than expected. They were kind enough to stay open a little bit later for us, so we did not have to rush our meal. Very friendly staff. And best part is they allow BYOB!

We had cumin beef and peppercorn fish here. My partner ate the last bit of the fish and wanted to swim in the soup. The spicy level is authentic and you can tell the chef knows what they are doing with the doneness of the ingredients. Nice portion and friendly service. 10/10 recommend.
Only surprise for me was that you order for your table via the QR code. Waiters will not ask for your order or give menus unless asked.
My girlfriend and I needed a break from late night studying and were lucky enough to find this place open and close to Syracuse campus. The food was delicious and mostly inexpensive ($15-$20 for an entree that could serve two). For people who haven’t been to restaurants like this much, bring a large group so you can all share your dishes. One entree is likely too much of the same food for one person. Food was spicy on request and matched the relative spiciness we were told it was. If it’s your first time eating Sichuan food or you have a low spice tolerance (like me), get light spice so you can enjoy the food; you can work your way up to spiciness another day ;) We ordered the Special Cold Noodles, Dry Pot Potato, Mapu Tofu, Cumin Beef with Onion, and a side of white rice. We loved the way the potatoes were sliced and prepared in the dry pot, and the cold noodles were so delicious (thinking about them makes my mouth water as I write this!). The staff were very friendly and kind, and we loved hearing about their personal life and talking about fun things to do in Syracuse. We give all the food a 5/5, and are definitely looking to come again. We recommend coming in a large group, not ordering too many carb heavy dishes, and ordering a fresh vegetable dish to balance things out.
This place was great. The food was very tasty. Perfect portions and very low wait time. The staff was very friendly and the decor of the place is very good and inviting. We didn't know this place existed, and we just saw the sign on the sidewalk. I'm very happy we discovered it.
The food is super delicious and fresh. Coming from faraway places we call home, having these authentic dishes today was such a welcoming treat!!! I absolutely loved it, and will definitely return! Anyone who is Chinese will definitely appreciate the authenticity of the dishes.
Very authentic Chinese restaurant with excellent prices. Everything is so good! Especially recommend the skewers, corn kernels with salted egg yolk, and kou rou (this is a special pork dish you cannot find in most Chinese restaurants).
Always a great place to grab a bite to eat! Friendly staff, a fun eat-in environment, and excellent service. My wife and I moved next door early last year and we go there almost twice a month. One of our favorite restaurants in the area!
I ordered the spicy beef rice noodles and hot oil noodles and mixed them. It was amazing, made my mouth tingle in the right way lol. A subtle spice that builds with a floral taste. Rice was great for $1.50. Definitely recommend.
My experience was outstanding! The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming! Their food stands out from all of the other Chinese restaurants near by, it has very unique flavors. We got 6 dishes: Stir-fried cabbage, Fried minced garlic ribs, Beef with enoki mushrooms, Steamed soup dumplings, Taiwanese sausage skewers, and lastly Chicken skewers. Everything was good! But some must-tries are definitely the skewers and fried ribs. Service was also great, all workers were very kind. Highly recommend!
I've been looking for a new Chinese place since moving here and I'm very happy to have found this place! Service was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu.
We only ordered two dishes, both were very tasty. Definitely will try other choices if in the area again.
Best Chinese food in Syracuse. I can’t recommend it enough. I will be returning as often as possible. The server asked about dietary restrictions and allergies before putting our order in, which was very kind. The server also helped me decide on what to eat as I wasn’t super familiar with Sichuan food. She was very pleasant.
Very authentic! Have many non-spicy choices, and skewers are the best nearby. Not to mention it’s pet friendly. Great service as well. Will definitely visit again!
Best Chinese food tastes in town. The restaurant does look fancy but the taste is THE BEST in town

Genuinely the best authentic Szechuan food I’ve had outside of nyc. We dined in and had some amazing fried spicy pork ribs, braised pork belly and stir dried morning glory. The staff was very friendly and made some great recommendations. No clue how their pickup is but dine in is great!
Great Chinese restaurant aimed at Chinese people. Good flavors and service. Mainly Sichuan food but also some Chinese American dishes. Whole family was very pleased! Don’t let the outside appearance and area put you off.
Food was delicious. The mapo tofu was delicious and left a numbing sensation in my mouth that I’ve never felt with any other dish containing Szechuan peppercorns. The scallion pancake was delicious as well. The wontons were good, just not the flavor we were expecting. Highly recommend this place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had high hopes for FT. Chef, especially for the dry pot, but unfortunately, our experience was underwhelming. The food overall was just okay — not terrible, but definitely not memorable. Many of the ingredients we wanted for the dry pot weren’t available, and the flavor just didn’t hit the mark. The fried rice was quite bland, and the dessert lacked both sweetness and taste. Prices felt a bit too high for what we got. On top of that, there were a few people coming in and out of the restaurant during our visit that made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable. The owner seemed nice and welcoming, which we appreciated, but communication was difficult as the front-end staff didn’t speak English. Not the worst experience, but we likely won’t be returning.

Went here multiple times when it was just Jianghu Cafe. Came back recently and found out they had been handed off to new ownership or something. The quality of service has dropped and while many things on the menu are the same, dishes like the Dan Dan noodles are completely different, and significantly worse as far as my preferences are concerned. My best guess is the new ownership is the regional style of the dishes changed, but I'm not certain. I don't see myself going back as there are a number of more preferable options in the area.

I am not a review poster. My experience here today was so bad that I can't stop myself. Hopefully the owners will read it because it would be nice to see a small business survive. The facility is nice. The location is convenient. However the woman working there was rude. She could barely lift her head from her texting to address us. I did not get the sense this was a case of hard to find good help. When we asked for a glass of water, she continued texting for several minutes. When we asked again, she still continued texting. Finally I raised my voice a little bit and she brought us water after we had nearly finished our meal. At least the food tasted great and then I noticed a hair. While I understand these things can happen, after the customer service experience, we got up, left the food on the table and walked out. During our unpleasant dining experience, a gentleman came in and sat at the table next to us. He observed the same lack of interest in providing a positive experience and after about a minute got up and walked out.
