As a vegetarian for 14 years and an eater of food for 29 years, I adore this place. You can taste the difference when you are eating fresh, seasonal ingredients that people put their thought and time into making. Every meal here - brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert - is always delicious. Today, I had the best omelet with a side of fries that I have ever had in my whole entire life. At other institutions, it would be a haphazard, concoction of liquid eggs, frozen veggies, and globs of factory fresh cheese with unseasoned, undercooked fries. The omelet I had today was fluffy, delicious, filled with local summer tomatoes and farm fresh cheese. The fries were perfect, crisp, seasoned beautifully. Everyone was so kind and attentive. It’s so fun eating somewhere that cares so deeply about the food they serve and the experience they provide.

Sweet Grass Grill is a gem! The focus on local and seasonal ingredients really shines through in every dish. The menu is always exciting because it changes with what's fresh and available, which makes each visit feel special. I've had several of their entrees, and they're consistently delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. It's so refreshing to dine at a place that values quality and supports local farms. A must-try if you're in the Tarrytown area!

Run, don't walk to this spot. Outdoor seating and hopping on the weekends. The edamame hummus had lots of fresh veggies and I loved that they serve cold soups (corn) 🌽. We saved ourselves for the panna cotta and it was perfection (not too dull, not too intense).

I took my friend here for a Galentines dinner (made reservations)and it superseded all my expectations. We had apps, main course and dessert. Every time the waiter came to our table we would just rave about how good the food is. On top of that, it is allergy friendly and the menu is so diverse. I am coming here again! The ambiance was chill and family friendly too!

I don't even think 5 stars properly expresses how lovely our experience was here! We chose this restaurant when we visited town because the online menu was so clearly labeled for dietary needs and allergens - I knew I'd have options. Everything we had was above and beyond delicious. Our waitress was so, so sweet, and everyone we encountered was so genuinely nice. If I lived closer, I would absolutely be a regular! I highly recommend this restaurant for vegans and vegetarians, and for those with food allergies!

Today, we had a delightful experience at Sweet Grass Grill. It was my parents' first visit, although my wife and sister and I have dined there before. They thoroughly enjoyed the brunch, commenting that the quality exceeded their expectations. The food was fresh and organic, and our server was exceptionally polite and helpful, taking our orders and offering excellent recommendations. My parents have already said they will recommend Sweet Grass Grill to their friends and family. Thank you for the wonderful service; we look forward to returning.😊😊

Stopped here after an exhausting day. Great food, and friendly service. A bit small but it has its charm. Great menu with normal, vegan and gluten free choices. Has a bar for some great drink choices. All around great place.

Amazing service by the staff at Sweet Grass Grill. I was able to visit for lunch and pictured the blood orange margarita, mushroom cheesesteak and chicken sandwich with the kale Caesar. Their beet ketchup was truly amazing. Everything was delicious. The service was super attentive even with a busy lunch rush during the week. Reservations are recommended. Stop by at Sweet Grass for a quick meal and leave feeling satisfied. Looking forward to stopping by again

Took a day trip to Tarrytown, and Sweet Grass Grill was even better than expected by reading the menu. The food is DELICIOUS, truly interesting and fulfilling options, creative cocktails, and the service is fantastic (shout out to our server Amanda, who really was above and beyond in terms of service and care). I loved the town, but I can’t wait to come back to this restaurant specifically. Do NOT pass it up! It was the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, but I will be back for a great night out in general. P.S. Everything we had was great, but the Hen of The Wood Mushroom dish is amazing! Almost ordered a second one to go. Don’t even think twice about it.

What a cute little find. All 3 of us really enjoyed our lunch choices & the shared beets- the dressing was divine! We got the buratta/prosciutto, farmer's salad, & chickpea tartine. Service was very slow I think because they only had 2 servers & a hostess on a busy Monday summer lunch.

The food is delicious, we ordered almost all dishes in the main course on the menu, the sweet potato chips are crispy, the scallop and salmon are nice and the chicken and steak are good, there are also veggie dishes, such as mushroom steak. However the services is terrible. We waited for an hour without any dishes and no bread was served as other restaurants, and no waiters were around.

One of few good eateries available in Tarrytown. We went there around 6pm and found it busy and had to be wait listed. The wait wasn't too long which was great. Our server Shaun/Sean was very good and polite. They had excellent vegetarian and vegan options. We got the quinoa and sweet-potato burger, the Oyester mushroom flatbread and the seasonal autumn risotto. The burger and flat bread were great but the risotto was bland and disappointing. I was expecting flavours of herbs and warm spices but it just tasted like bland vegetable stock. Maybe we should've listened to Shaun's recommendation of the crispy Brussels sprouts. It was quite pricey but I suppose it is a busy season for them. We also got the fall sangria, a local IPA called Duncan's Abbey which I highly recommend, and a ginger ale soda. All the drinks were delicious expect the sangria had ice in it which made it watery.

This place was super cute. Home vibes. Very cozy. Went w a friend for Saturday brunch and sat at the bar. Service was friendly and not overbearing. I had the burger and would not recommend it. The amount of aoli on the burger was unfortunately criminal. I scraped off mounds of it but what was already on there gave me indigestion for the rest of the day.
