Anthony our server gave us amazing service and he is the best of the best!! Definitely coming back!
Sky was amazing and we will be back for another cocktail and a beer. Whatever changes you have done are good ones. Good job Anthony 👍
Such a great place, especially for my first time. Our waiter Taylor was constantly checking in, refilling drinks, and overall proving the best service. The atmosphere was so fun and entertaining, a great place to be with friends and family. And the food was top tier, steak was perfect. I had the mac n cheese, and it was the BEST. 100000/10, will definitely be here tomorrow!
Came in last night with a 7pm reservation (12/23/24) and it was immediately obvious they were slammed. It took about 10 minutes for us to get seated, the staff were clearly hustling as fast as they could & were very short staffed (lots of call-in’s apparently). Once seated service was quick & friendly, always had drinks refilled & the food was DELICIOUS. We used to love Public House but just haven’t frequented old town very often the last few years. So happy the food is still top notch, and huge props to the staff who killed it last night! (Wish I caught their names)
Had a great time here on Friday! The live Jazz/R&B mix was truly amazing. We will be making this a regular date night spot whenever JH Factor is there. Loved them so much we drove out to Redlands the following evening to watch them again. Great to see young talent bringing Jazz to local places.
Anthony was an amazing server, went above and beyond in helping us with anything we needed! Their soda machine line ran dry and wasn’t working. Anthony went out of his way to get us cans of soda, plastic cups with ice, and provided amazing service.
The food was great. Music was great. Staff were even better. We got there 40 before music started with a toddler. Staff told us they could seat us directly in front of the band but would ensure we had our food, could eat, and pay before they started. They were true to their word. Music wasn’t too loud so we stayed for a song or two. Will definitely be back. Every single staff member we encountered was super kid friendly.
Went in this past Friday with my husband for the second time because they had live music. I have to say Taylor was GREAT! His service and attentiveness couldn’t have made this visit any better. We both ordered burgers and have to say they are some of the BEST we’ve had. Definitely will be back!
Met a friend here for a long overdue Sunday brunch date to celebrate her graduation. Nearby parking was free and easy. The atmosphere was relaxed with an industrial vibe, covered patio, and busy but not too crowded - it was a comfortable spot to spend a couple hours in conversation with my friend. Our server, Taylor, was kind, respectful, knowledgeable, attentive, handsome, and made sure we felt at home. A live DJ was spinning pop remixes music volume did not impede conversation. The appetizer was this fancy mixed tomato and cheese dip thing in a skillet served with sourdough and was sooooo good - I highly recommend it. The cinnamon French toast French toast was outstanding as well and had a bourbon maple syrup that elevated the flavors. Overall a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back.
5 stars. We had Tyler as our server, and he was awesome. Made great recommendations, one being the Ruben and the second was the sweet heat burger, both were amazing. Tyler was a great server and made our dining experience the best. Definitely recommend this place!
We followed the sound of a buttery smooth country singer voice of Maxwell Garza on a Saturday night down the main road and into Public House Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with Anthony as our server. He was lovely, had great recs of drinks and was prompt and attentive.
Great food and a great outdoor patio dining atmosphere. Well worth the 5 1/2 hour drive from AZ that it took to get here. DISCLAIMER: “The Ruben” is a must, but you should probably spilt it with someone else. This sandwich will humble even the savviest Ruben fan. Oh, don’t forget to wash it down with some Pizza Port brew.
Anthony was our server and even though they were slammed he was conscientious and courteous. He was fun and up beat and very knowledgeable about the menu. Letting us know where our order was and caring about our experience. My short rib was fabulous and the egg rolls!!!! OMG! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Wanted to give shout outs to Charlie and Isaiah. We came in late on a Sunday evening after Big Red fest a few weeks ago and got the last seating. Charlie took great care of us, was attentive, and made good recommendations for drinks and food. She also was very accommodating for some of the substitution questions from our party. Helluva job for her first ever table. I spoke with Isaiah on the way out (who made wonderful drinks for us) and he told us that she had volunteered to take the table. Kudos for her for stepping up and knocking it out of the park. Can't wait to come back with more friends.
The pork belly bacon is unreal. I would recommend the cinnamon toast crunch toast over the berry french toast. The burrito was pretty good too, the sauce is not spicy which is what I was expecting. Good service as well, we had multiple servers helping us out. Interesting ordering system with ordering through the QR code using “Toast” but all the food came out pretty quick. Some coffee’s didn’t come out cause it was confusing who was suppose to be ordering. But still a great experience.
Anthony and his service was great. Very down to earth, calm and collected. The soda machine broke and he apologized up and down the whole time offering us alternatives quickly so we could enjoy our meals. Great food, a little on the high side but that’s the strip of restaurant pricing in Old Town. Give this place a try!
I normally love all the food that Public House puts out. This last trip was wonderful, BUT the ahi tuna stack appetizer was all guacamole, like they forgot to put the ahi tuna in! Everything else was wonderful, love the atmosphere and music. The staff always seems happy, friendly, and helpful.
Even though our waitress forgot to put our order in, she was really nice, the atmosphere is good and the food is really good. I'm a vegetarian...there was plenty for me to choose from which I appreciate since the eateries in the wine country area lack adequate vegetarian/vegan food. A Portobello mushroom or a plain salad just isn't everybodies choice for a meal out. Kudos to Public House for their menu choices.
I recently checked out this restaurant with my family on their recommendation. We went on a Saturday morning and they were serving brunch and lunch. It wasn’t too busy but the menus were definitely intriguing. All in all the service was exceptional food was great and the environment is fun. This restaurant really has a great place here in town and should be a place you check out if you’re looking for great food that’s a little bit different from the normal every day stuff you would find elsewhere.
This place is such a hidden gem! The staff is amazing, food is delicious, they always have a great live band or DJ and never have a long wait. They also just remodeled and the atmosphere is even better than before. Love this place!
Public House is under new ownership, but is still hands-down one of my favorite places to go in Old Town Temecula. The drinks are refreshing, atmosphere is fun, music is up-to-date, and the service is by far the best yet. We will be back! I'm really excited to see what the new owners will be changing for the back patio layout!!
Anthony our server was so great for our 15 person group!!
Very chill and laid back environment. They had live music by JH Factor, they were definitely a highlight of the night. The mixed drinks were also very good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be coming back especially when they have live music.
This place is awesome! We were a bit cold, so they moved us with heater next to us...very accommodating. Food order was quick...and delicious (Pesto Chicken pasta)! Staff is super-friendly. They deserve it. Tip well. Live music (Friday) with "Ryan Venezuela" and band was great!!!
Our server Chris was absolutely phenomenal!!! He made my mother feel special and appreciated on her birthday! Not to mention, the food was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Thank you for all that you did <3 I will absolutely be returning with my fiance and friends for sure!
Unbelievable PERFECTION. It simply doesnt get any better than this. Kobe beef burgers, Vegan Chili, Deconstructed Chicken Pot Pie (magnificent) Ban Mi Sandwich. Pork Chop A+++ The biggest craft beef selection anywhere. Fun Fun Fun staff and crowd ever. I CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING HERE THAT COULD BE BETTER. A++++++ SIX STARS
Took my daughter there for her 23rd bday for the Bacon & Leggs Brunch. Wow, what an amazing experience. Everyone was soo nice, kind, friendly and entertaining. This is a must when in town again. Food was good, drinks were amazing and crowd was A1. Bring some $1.00 bills!!! Highly recommended!!!
We had such a great time! Our server Anthony really added to the overall experience he was super friendly, attentive and gave great suggestions from drinks to apps to dinner, all spot on and so yummy! The Sweet Heat Burger a total must order, absolutely delicious!! We enjoyed the overall atmosphere and the band we'll definitely be back!
I didn’t know that this restaurant offered some great vegan options as well as gluten free. The restaurant is located in what seems to be someone ‘s nice backyard. They have a fire & water feature at the front and also in the middle of the seating area. The place has a pub feel and the service is excellent. Our server remembered our names throughout our dinner. I like that they ask you about your food preferences as well as allergies. I tried the fried green tomatoes appetizer which was vegan. I strongly recommend their aioli sauce which includes a touch of habanero. I also tried their Bella! Lettuce! Tomato dish which is a vegan take on the BLT except it’s packed with portobello mushrooms. It was delicious! Make sure you try their fries and get extra aioli sauce on the side. You can also get the mango kamboucha drink without the alcohol if you’re craving a non-alcoholic beverage that’s not a soda or tea. Enjoy mostly plants.
Public House in Old Town Temecula is truly a jewel in this community. Nestled on Main Street, a stone’s throw from Temecula City Hall, it stands out as a beacon of culinary delight and social vibrancy. What sets Public House apart is its commitment to unique and delicious dishes, complemented by a late-night menu that caters to all palates. Their cocktail offerings are nothing short of a craft, each meticulously concocted to elevate your dining experience. The warmth and friendliness of the staff add to the charm, making every visit a memorable one. It’s no surprise that Public House is a favorite for locals, including staff from neighboring eateries, who appreciate the exceptional service and the lively atmosphere. I celebrated my birthday here earlier this month and had to go back last night for Karaoke! The ambiance during the day is particularly striking, offering a seamless blend of indoor comfort with an outdoor freshness, courtesy of the lush plants that adorn the space. It’s an ideal venue for business meetings, where the unique setting fosters both relaxation and productivity. Public House is not just about dining; it’s a place where you can enjoy a drink at the bar, engage in a friendly game of cup pong, or even showcase your singing talent with karaoke. It’s this versatility that makes it a beloved spot in the community. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I highly recommend Public House for an experience that goes beyond just dining. It’s a place where every visit guarantees good food, great drinks, and the best of times.
Anthony our server was very attentive and friendly, delivering great customer service. We had a nice time
Our server Anthony was amazing! Great personality, on point, always checking in and was really great with our kids! Great experience!
Solid well deserved 5 star. Service is spot on. Food is "to die for"...from their Mac & Cheese to the infamous Kobe burger. Hell even the salads are great. Great selection of beer on tap, with a solid effort to keep it local by supporting local Breweries and Wineries. Do yourself a favor and sit on the back patio, even if you have to wait. Well worth it!
Our server Anthony was very friendly and accommodating to our bachelorette party.
Our server Anthony was very attentive and went above and beyond making sure everything was great! Beautiful seating decorated for christmas with heaters to keep warm! Definitely would come again with Anthony as our server!
My gf took me to enjoy our lunch there. I love my braised beef and mashed potato, it was good! My gf ordered chicken teriyaki and was also good but the rice was a bit hard. The service was not that good, we waited a long time to checkout and the food took a bit long to arrive and the place was not busy at all, so a bit disappointed. In addition, the portion compare to the price and other places was a bit small.
Really enjoyed our dinner here. Small little gem. Outdoor seating with heaters. Background music. Relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly service. Tried the Peach Heat Rolls, chicken pesto linguini, and Sweet Heat Burger. Sweet Heat burger was delicious. Got the jalapeño jelly on the side which made it a little dry, but once combined it was good (also added the peach jalapeno jelly and it made it so much better! Drinks were good too.
Our waitress Skye was awesome! She gave us great recommendations and checked in on us often. The decorations for the Winter were super cute! Vibes were 10/10
My daughter brought me here for lunch. We started off with their amazing Tomatoe addiction. I love the way they soaked the tomatoes in the balsamic vinaigrette then they added the cheese and that made it amazing! So yummy!! We also ordered the short ribs. The meat was very tender and tasted on point!! My daughter ordered the drink and I took a guess at what it was. I think it was a Mimosa flight but unfortunately I'm not positive. It looks good though. I had their signature Ice tea. Unfortunately I can't remember the name. Unfortunately I've never tried this kind of Iced tea before & It's very good! It has a fruity flavor too it! Everything was really good here! Even the service! Everyone here we're all very polite and attentive! The restaurant was very clean too!! We will definitely be back! 🤩👌
Anthony was extremely attentive and accommodating as a server. Highly recommend the restaurant overall and if possible to have anthony as a waiter you will be in for a great experience. Public house will continue to obtain our business.
Came here for breakfast with a few friends from out of town last weekend and it was fantastic! We had incredible service from Taylor, the corned beef hash was out of this world, and we were seated immediately on a Saturday! That’s unheard of in Temecula. We will 1000% be back soon, as this is a hidden gem for breakfast in town. Ask for Taylor as your waiter and don’t pass up on the corned beef hash!
The food and ambience was great! Definitely try the Peach Heat Rolls and the Sweet Heat burger. Anthony was our server, and he was amazing - so attentive, efficient, and friendly. Definitely ask to sit in his section if you get a chance.
I’ve been coming to Public House for years, and it’s still one of the most reliable spots in Old Town Temecula. The food is always solid—doesn’t matter if it’s lunch, dinner, or a quick bite during a night out. Stopped in for happy hour recently and was reminded why I love this place. They’ve got a great beer selection, good vibes, and I was seriously stoked to see they now carry Happy Dad Hard Seltzer (my favorite). Huge win. If you’re looking for a go-to Temecula bar, gastropub, or a chill spot with consistently good food and drinks, Public House is still one of the best.
We were on a trip back from Arrowhead when the lady suggested this place, let me start off by saying if you want some of the best food you've ever had - come here now. The menu is stacked with incredible bites. We started with the Shishto Peppers and Goat Toast, both phenomenal. The cocktails were top notch, our mixologist Ariana was so good and kind with recommendations and customizations. We had so much fun here, the food, the drinks were incredibly great. Can't wait to come back, I wish we had food this good in Del Mar or a mixologist like Ariana! I'm a spicy heat fiend and she curated multiple cocktails to accommodate me.
This is a phenomenal find for us out there. Boozier than the nearby bbq spot and more low-key and calm than the neighboring establishment, Public House offers a delightful menu at what I consider to be a reasonable price. The aiolis are made with veganaise, which appeals to my partners lactose intolerance. The drinks are strong, creative, and they cater to all types. I picked up the Smokey Peach mezcal cocktail, a sweet heat burger, and the finest, unconventional Cesar salad I’ve ever had. Our server spent copious time with us answering any and all questions; nothing was rushed and nobody felt as overlooked. I look forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.
Food at Public House was delicious. I ordered the Get Started Hummus & Nann starter. It was different than the usual hummus you purchase at other restaurants. It was trimmed with olives, grape tomatoes and pumpkin seeds for garnish. I also ordered the Ahi Tuna Salad. The tuna was blacken with a slight spicy trimming. The greens in my Salad were bright and healthy green. The ginger on the side was a beautiful red with spices. The best part of my visit to The Plublic House was my server, Sophia. She was friendly beautiful smile and made sure your meal was to your liking. My glass of water was never empty. I only ordered water because I wasn't feeling the mood for an alcoholic beverage; I'm certain she would keep that beverage filled if I had one. The music and ambiance was pleasant, a bit too loud fir me, but it wasn't too loud where i felt i had to ask to turn it down. I would definitely recommend The Public House to friends. I'm definitely coming back to try other stuff on the menu. Thank you, Sophia for your A+ service. ~Janet
LOVE IT💯a LOT🤤🤤 Taylor took care of So well, we felt very Welcomed💞 All cocktails Kayden mixed were So Amazing that we can't wait to go back to try Everthing!! The food were also so Delicious that we are looking foward to go back for Dinner menu! Taylor, Thank You so very much for asking the chef to add Jalapeño jelly+goat cheese to Breakfast burger to make it like a dinner menu, Sweet Heat Burger!!! And I really Enjoyed The Mexican Candy shot A Lot🙌🥳 You are THE Best! Wishing Your business keep on growing Strong! Thank You so very very much for THE Best Breakfast moment💞 Cheers! Ps. If you can add more Gluten Free and vegetarian options, it would be Extra Amazing💞
Tried to call and the answering machine just keeps repeating. Hoping to hear from them so I can write a review. Still not fixed by New Years Eve. Had to communicate through Instagram & OpenTable. BUT... our evening was fabulous! The food, drinks, music, ambience was excellent! TAYLOR, our waiter, was breaking his butt to make everyone happy! Great job! They are lucky to have you! JAZZSTRONAUTS was the Jazz Band. They actually made the dining experience much more enjoyable! Looking forward to returning on a non holiday night. ❣️🙌🏻
We ate lunch on a Saturday, no wait and service was almost immediately. We started with Peach Heat Rolls, (probably the best starter dish I've ever had), Old Town Fashion, perfectly made and slightly sweeter than most old fashions and a Queens Berries, sweet and flavorful. Lunch was Blackened Mahi Mahi tacos, Chipotle Ranch Chicken Sandwich and Mac & Cheese. Food overall was delicious. Fries was just fries but we will definitely ear here again on our next trip through.
Discovered this gem today. Great food, service and atmosphere. Tunes in the background make the dining experience more enjoyable. Also the have a lot of event. Just missed 80’s night. However karaoke night 9/19/23 😆. Love the sangria 🍹. Can’t stay away from the amazing food at Public House.
Our server, Anthony was very helpful and attentive. He was able to give suggestions and made accommodations for those with dietary restrictions on our group. The live music was nice and kept the vibe lively.
Really loved the food! Excellent flavors, fun and creative menu. We went for the special New Years Eve menu and had a really lovely time with the live music, decor, and service. Charcuterie board was not super impressive, though.
The food here is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. The open space gives a wonderful sense of fresh air. My only complaints would be every time I've came here when there's only one other couple the service was not good. If you don't sit at the bar, the server wouldn't come to us. we would have to constantly get up to ask for drinks, napkins, and to order our food since the server would rarely come to the table. I've never come on a super busy day for this reason. Several times I've gone, it took forever to get water's let alone mix drinks. We would not be greeted walking in, just no sense of that welcome feeling until we walked over to the bar and initiated the hello. When it comes to service on a busy day, I would completely understand, but during a non rush hour, I don't see why there wouldn't be more time for better service. I've brought a few friends here on different occasions, and they've noticed the same service. I only write this review in hopes it improves because this place is lovely, and I would like to come back and have a better experience.
Really good food. Only covered terrace seating is available so on a really hot day, it's not ideal. The food and service were both really good. Treat yourself to the Mac & Cheese but load it up with add in options like bacon, truffle and especially the tomato medley house special add-in. Ask about even more ads that aren't on the menu. All the food was good, but the Mac was off the chains!
Super cute date location! Fast service with a good watermelon margarita. Their BBQ chicken flatbread was to die for, and Sophia was the most attentive waitress ever! Thank you, Sophia 💕
Cute place in old town. The food was delicious and servers attentive. Kinda neat you can order from your phone and it'll be brought to your table. We got Buenaveza salt and lime brew which was good but the coke was a bit watered down. I had the millennial toast which was good and enough food for lunch.
Food was good. Fries are good, in the style of British chips. Try the Bleu Cheese Burger and add Bacon for 2$.
What a fun place to grab brunch at! The atmosphere and overall vibe at The Public House is great. I ordered the Hangover Burrito and let me tell you, it's Big. I could only eat half of it! I washed it down with a Gin based drink called Watermelon Suga, now this drink was everything! Smooth and sweet, but not overly sweet where you're cringing from the taste, it was truly a perfect drink. For appetizers we had the hummus plate, great for sharing, and the jalapeño cream cheese egg rolls that came with an apricot jam; do yourself a favor an order a plate of them, you won't regret it! I'll definitely be coming back to Public House next time I'm in town!
Went here for dinner and drinks. Was very surprised to have live music playing as well! It was a very good vibe between the great food and drinks and music! Popped in on a weekend night and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated- not too bad for a weekend. We sat outside and there was a great young band playing. My fiance and I both got the cheeseburger which was delicious! The meat was cooked perfectly and the bacon jam was very complimentary. I don’t remember the drink I got but I had 3 so they were definitely good! We will be back for sure!!
Can’t really report on the interior as we sat outside. Their outdoor dining space is off-street, spacious and very pleasant. The drinks were well-crafted and our server was very personable. My only complaint is that they offer a burger made with Impossible Burger and even a homemade plant-based dressing, but the bun has egg in it so they had to serve my burger on lettuce leaves which weren’t up to the task and I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. We chose Public House specifically for their vegan options.
Public House in Temecula is a true staple that never disappoints. Known for hosting lively events like drag brunches, this restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service that makes every visit feel special. Though the menu is somewhat limited, every dish is prepared to perfection, ensuring a consistently delicious experience. However, I have noticed a significant increase in wait times for food. For a party of three, it’s not uncommon to wait 30-45 minutes for an entrée. During a recent visit with a group of four, we ended up canceling our order after waiting about 40 minutes. The staff was very understanding and had not started our ticket yet, so they were able to close us out for just appetizers and drinks. While the food and service remain exceptional, I truly hope they address these wait times moving forward.
I love live music but not too much to this place because music was too loud. Tables were really close on the stage, so when the band starts singing, I can't even have a conversation with my husband because I can't hear what he was saying. The atmosphere was nice. Service was good. But, I was not happy with my fish taco. It was dry. Dog friendly, tho.
Service was excellent and friendly. My dtr order the brussel sprouts chicken salad which was good and crispy. Husband ordered the Reuben sandwich he like it too. You must order the Tomato Addiction for appetizer it was delicious! I ordered the PBBLT. Pork Belly BLT but they ran out of Pork Belly! They also run out of ice tea for their Arnold Palmer. We would go back for their brunch looks like they have great selections of food.
We decided to stop by since I saw that they had vegan options. However that’s a lie. The waiter informed us that it was basically just the impossible Patty. They did not have the bun for vegan burger. We were pretty disappointed ! They should really remove the “vegan” menu. I must say the waiter was super helpful and attentive! Wish Temecula had more vegan options!
While the atmosphere at the pub was great for a birthday party, the customer service really fell short. A friend had to wait 30 minutes for his food to be remade because the menu didn't indicate that it contained cheese, which he can't eat. The staff didn't handle the situation well, and it put a damper on the celebration. I'd think twice about hosting an event here again unless they improve their service and attention to dietary needs.
I honestly felt that this place was just OKAY. Nothing really stood out to me. The service was good though. She kept checking on us and we definitely never ran out of our beverages. We ordered the tomato and burrata appetizer which was essentially heirloom tomatoes and burrata stacked on top of each other in a roasted pepper coulis and topped with basil and balsamic. Don’t get me wrong the roasted pepper stuff was delish. The dish was pretty delish as well but you hardly get any burrata. Any time I’ve ordered burrata we’re given a huge big ball of it. With this you get like two little slices. Definitely not worth the money. If they can add more burrata then possible. I ordered the Nashville vegan chicken Sammy and it was pretty good. The vegan chicken was delicious. But it was missing some sort of spice element or even a sauce. It’s feel like they also didn’t give it on the correct bread which might’ve made a big difference. They gave it to me on basically seeded sandwich bread. This definitely didn’t quite taste right with the chicken. After two bites I just took the chicken out and ate it by itself. My husband ordered the regular real chicken Sammy and said it was just okay too. He said it also needed some sort of sauce or spice. It just has no real flavor. And the fries were soggy and just not good. My husband got the truffle fries and he said they tasted nothing like truffle. So idk all in all I unfortunately wouldn’t come here again. I feel like you could just go to yard house for the type of meal we had.
Friday night... group of 7...It Took a long time to be seated because only 45ish people capacity inside. Sheriffs arrived to enforce it while we were waiting & check there were no minors drinking. Live DJ. Food was good. Drinks were delicious.
Sat at the bar for 10 minutes and no said hi or even tried to approach me. Slow service and not welcoming.
We arrived without reservations and didn't have to wait to be seated. Unfortunately, no seats were available in the back, only at the front, which was fine. I ordered a strawberry salad, and my companions ordered hamburgers. However, everything tasted very bad, including the salad. The drinks were also poor in quality.
We decided to Public House on Mother's Day since they were advertising a "Mother's Day Brunch Experience" that sounded like it would be nice. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The assortment of food choices on the buffet was limited at best. I made a special trip to visit the restaurant 2 days before our reservation to get details about this "Mother's Day Experience". I was told that the brunch buffet would include a "huge assortment" of breakfast and lunch items. Nothing on the buffet was labeled, so you had to lift every lid and hope you could identify what was in the pan. The bacon was greasy and limp (not even close to crisp), the diced potatoes were dry, the fruit was not fresh, and the only non-breakfast items we found were refried beans(?), cupcakes, and something that resembled taquitos with green sauce. Everything that was supposed to be hot, was cold and vice versa. The guy running the "omelet station" didn't speak English, so telling him how you'd like your omelet prepared was challenging. He was also manning a carving station, when asked what the meat was, he wasn't sure. We weren't willing to try it because it was not under a heat lamp, and we didn't know if it was safe to eat. Bottomless mimosas are a full glass of champagne per person and 1 glass of orange juice for the entire table to share. How does this work? 3 of us had mimosas that we had to 1) figure out how to mix ourselves and 2) pray that a server would make it somewhat worthwhile by giving us refills. Here's the kicker! When asked about what charges were, because the cost of the buffet and bottomless mimosas were not posted anywhere to be found, we were informed that the buffet was $60 and mimosas were $25 PER PERSON. I asked the server if he was joking, and he immediately offered us a $10 discount, but agreed that it was not worth the money. It felt very "thrown together at the last minute" and incredibly disorganized.
We came with a big party of about 20. This is not a good place for large group bars. They got almost all of the orders wrong. And everything I had to ask for, I had to ask for more than twice. Everything. And the waitress , Sofia the waitress, and I think along with her manager, did not care. Yes they wanted us out after we started playing music in the restaurant, but that was after they showed us they didn’t care. The service was bad enough to give them 0 stars but trusts not an option.
Ok saw great reviews booked a reservation for a large family group. It appeared they were understaffed but we carried on. Unfortunately, in the simplest terms, I’d never eat here again. Maybe the chef didn't show up and they threw a busboy in to cover, but the food was terrible and took forever. I ordered a simple short rib holindaise. Typically, at minimum, you would expect savory moist shortrib over a nice crisp English muffin with a poached runny egg and a beautiful holindaise. But no. We receive a dollop of dried out short rib on a nearly raw English muffin with a hard Boiled poach egg (yes I know that's an oxymoron) with a teaspoon of “homemade” holindaise which was the only possible way to moisturize this dried up mess, but there wasn't even enough to cover the hard-boiled overcooked poached eggs. Ohhh a and cold breakfast potatoes. Did I mention everything was served cold. We all ordered something different but walked away with a similar quality of food feeling very disappointed. It pains me to say Dennys would have been a quantum leap in food taste, preparation and for a fraction of the price. We have not eaten there in years but do know what would have been served and know it would have been better had we done so. The service staff was good and clearly covering too many tables so hats off to them but everything begins and ends in the kitchen. And unfortunately it ended, got over cooked, dried out, and went cold before it was ever served.
On Saturday night it feels like a poorly attended frat party, complete with requiring women as tickets for entry, broey white dude security, and beer pong. If you have more men than women in your group, expect to wait outside until men leave for “capacity reasons”, even if the place is largely empty. The guy at the door gave us a “discounted cash rate” on the cover charge, which he apparently just keeps for himself because the business doesn’t accept cash. Parking across the street was a whopping $22 but we ended up finding street parking for free.
Okay this was our first time being here and they said they were at capacity at 1am on a Friday night and there was only 10 people in the entire club. The hostess was rude and I asked what capacity was and they told me they are not legally allowed to tell me? I’ve never heard of that rule before and they had us stand outside for more than 30 minutes. Was super confused on why we were treated so poorly. The pictures shown is who were super rude to us and didn’t give us their names
Our server was amazing. The food was alright. We tried the poke and the Mac and cheese. The pretzel was nice and soft and the cheese it came with was good. The drinks were good but inconsistent, sometimes it was strong and some were just too sweet tonight. The beers were ice cold and great. The desserts to die for! The music is usually the reason we come here but tonight Angela Sofia was terrible! The singer, Angela, just kept belting to try and cover the fact that she didn't know the lyrics despite having her phone in her face and would just try to do runs and basically just scream/yell calling it singing. When she did sing it was flat. Bring back another group but not this one and make coming here worth it. They seemed unprepared. The piano player was good but also does too much trying to cover the lack of talent for the singer. Playing music on Spotify would have been better than this! Next time they are here we will not be coming.
This place was good a couple years ago, but not so much anymore. Service was non-existent, food was mediocre and way overpriced. It's a shame because I really liked it the first time I visited years ago. I would definitely not recommend. I can see why there's no wait when dining in. Spend your money elsewhere.
I was extremely disappointed in my visit to this place. We had our Christmas party at this location over the weekend. The food was HORRIBLE. The vegetables were a mix you buy at the frozen section of the store... With the big pieces of broccoli and cauliflower ends and barely anything else. Unflavored. It's like they forgot we were coming. Water was never refilled, no coffee or tea. Even tho there were people missing from the party, it didn't feel like there was enough food for the ones who were there. The best thing was the slice of chocolate cake at the end... the creme puffs were also most likely purchased from the frozen section of the grocery store- I know because I buy them and know the flavor/taste. Definitely not worth 62$ per person. Huge disappointment. First time there, never going back. I do have to add that the staff was awesome, and the waiter that took care of us was amazing.
Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Servers but don’t plan a private event here. My event was supposed to start at 7 and I was told I’d have access to the room 15 minutes prior for decorating. Luckily I didn’t plan on doing much decorating because we weren’t given access to the space until 705. My event was supposed to be 40 people yet we had one server. He was great but clearly overwhelmed and it took a long time for people to get their drinks. My invoice showed paid in full prior to the event. I made it clear to the event planner that whatever amount I needed to spend total to be made up in a prepaid bar tab. I was reassured this was done yet the night of the event I was hit with an additional $600 to meet the minimum spending requirement. I spoke to the owner Anthony and explained everything yet he was rude, condescending, and clearly needs to learn how to speak to customers. Prior to my event I loved coming here and always enjoyed the food, drinks & atmosphere but I will unfortunately no longer be a customer.
