You would think with the word Yummy in the name the food has to be good! Well I usually don’t leave a review if ever, however upon walking in and ordering my food the lady taking our order smiled the entire time making me want to smile(100pts) then to have the cook have a background of cooking for 5 star restaurant Szechan. So I can feel this is probably going to be my go to authentic Chinese restaurant now I just hope the food taste good!!!

This is a HIDDEN GEM!!! The most surprisingly amazing chinese place I've ever been to. Every time I came back, I found new amazing dishes on the menu. This place never stops surprising me. I really wanna keep this to myself but bc it's too good... go try the sliced steamed pork guys :( I'm scared that that amazing pork is gonna sell out real quick😂

This was by far one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. If you are looking for a secret hole-in-the-wall place to grab some Chinese, this is the place to go. Inside reminds me of any other Chinese restaurants, but the food tasted way better and wasn't the same low quality items you might find elsewhere. Next time I'm in Temple Terrace, this is my new place to go!

EDIT: ChenJi Noodle House will open at this place in Q1 2023. Good Sichuan food. This is the Chinese style Kung Pao Chicken. Just heard this place will have new ownership Nov 1st 2022, according to owner.

One of few, if not the only authentic Sichuan Style Chinese Restaurant in the whole Tampa Bay Area. Don’t be fooled, it’s not a generic Chinese take out spot, it’s restaurant quality food. There are dishes you can’t get at any other restaurant. They have authentic Chinese dishes so don’t only go for something common, try one of their special dishes as well. A true hidden gem you can’t find anywhere else around here.

My family and I came here almost a month ago and I can't stop thinking about the jalapeño chicken. It was amazing. I don't want chicken anymore because I can't have this original dish. I would eat here every day if I wasn't 1200 miles away. The woman at the counter was the most genuine and hospitable person I've met in food services. I hope she gives me the recipe.

Great place for Chinese Food whether you are looking for a typical sesame chicken or steamed bok choy with delicious garlic sauce. A nice mix of regular staple takeout Chinese items and items for those looking to try something a little different. Portion size is also pretty close to perfect. Will be ordering from here many times in the future.

I thought Tampa was missing a place to get Sichuan food until I discovered this place. If you know the authentic stuff, go ahead and order it. People are friendly and food is solid. People have mentioned the chicken already, try the eggplant, green beans, and cumin lamb as well. All authentic and hits the right spots.

On Friday my husband told me he had some urge to get three ground treasure from yummy chicken, but I wanted to try something new. Went to a different Chinese restaurant that we never been to before on Saturday. I was wrong, I was so wrong, that one was too Americanized. Had to come back to yummy chicken on Sunday, have to have that three ground treasure（地三鲜). I myself finished that chongqing spicy chicken (重庆辣子鸡). My husband finished his three ground treasure with two boxes of rice. I come to this restaurant for authentic/spicy food as possible as I can, and the great location I can just walk in order some food then go to the Publix nearby.

Best AUTHENTIC Chinese/SiChuan food in the area! Everything was so good! Food quality and taste is always top notch; Prices are reasonable! Cannot go wrong really with anything here! I go here at the very least once a week, the 夫妻肺片 is my absolute favorite dish! Highly recommended!

I'm a Chinese and haven't go back to home for a while. Whenever I miss my hometown and family, I'll come here and have some authentic dishes! I must say they have the best Chinese food (Especially Sichuan style), and the madam (maybe the manager?) is so kind and always cares about her customer. 100% recommended!

First time ordering from here. I was looking for a late Chinese takeout place and they were right around the corner so decided to check it out. It was a small typical looking chinese takeout place with only 3 tables. The owner (I'm assuming) was a very kind polite woman. I showed up and my food wasn't ready yet, there was a chef doing something else and she went straight to the kitchen and finished up my order in under 3 minutes which I appreciated. Was a little skeptical because I came in the last hour, but I haven't even finished my food yet and I had to write a review before I forgot. I ordered the orange chicken and sesame balls. The sesame balls are delicious and the orange chicken was so good, there is a large portion and there is plenty of sauce so it was not dry. I will come back to update my review if by the end of the meal I have a complaint, but I do not think I will. I will be coming back for sure!

I have ordered numerous things here, and have never had any complaints. It’s all fresh and cooked to order. That being said, you may want to order in advance. Me, personally, I enjoy the banter with Susan (the wife) and catch up on life things while I wait in my truck for 20 minutes. It’s worth the wait and if you can’t wait, order a little in advance. However, I enjoy the face to face interaction with Susan and her husband. You should eat here. Seriously.

Paid $20 for the honey walnut shrimp to be soggy and dry almost like a dough texture? Its basically inedible and barely had any sauce on it I tried eating it and I just couldn’t, I tried to call the restaurant for a refund but sadly they already closed for the night.. I’m hoping they can help me tomorrow because I practically just spent $20 on nothing sadly. I’m hoping that it was just the timing for why it tasted that way.

It's the worst Chinese rice I've ever eaten in my life, I ordered the house special rice that supposedly has meat, shrimp, chicken, EVERYTHING... it literally had 3 shrimp, I didn't see the chicken, the meat had 6 small cubes, no vegetables and the rice is not fried, it looked like dough...it's not Chinese rice. To finish the portion is poor, 2 people do not eat well. Please improve so you have good reviews, best of luck

It's the worst Chinese rice I've ever eaten in my life, I ordered the house special rice that supposedly has meat, shrimp, chicken, EVERYTHING... it literally had 3 shrimp, I didn't see the chicken, the meat had 6 small cubes, no vegetables and the rice is not fried, it looked like dough...it's not Chinese rice. To finish the portion is poor, 2 people do not eat well. Please improve so you have good reviews, best of luck
