Avis sur Guissepis Tijuana
The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, it's a very family-friendly place. I recommend the pizzas and the pasta with meatballs.
Exelente service, Relaxing atmosphere, very good food and desserts, Good prices and you don’t need reservation..
This is by far my favorite Giuseppis in town. The food is as good as it gets, but what makes it different is the atmosphere. I really like the area (upon entereing) to the right; It is so nicely decorated. Also, the restrooms are a bit larger than they usually are. The service is nice as usual. If there's something that I strongly dislike, I guess it could be the parking space. It is not very practical. The guys in charge of it are very practical and capable, but some of the (customers) drivers are ... not very skilled drivers. I'll be back anytime possible!
This Restaurant was a Perfect Italian Choice to celebrate my niece's Birthday! Food was delicious, place was incredible, staff was friendly, and the musicians were perfect! I ordered the Wine Sangria and after tasting it we order the pitcher, mmm! So, yes, I definitely recommend this restaurant, you won't get disappointed!
This is a great place. Make a reservation as it will be full. The valet service was handling over 75 cars when we arrived. Despite only offering a small selection of La Cetto wines the pasta and pizzas were delicious. The interior design is spectacular. They even have a room with fluorescent wall an ceiling painting which only come to show when the lights are turned off.
October 25th 1969 is the opening date for this restaurant. I have lived and visited Tijuana off and on for 40 years and have a slight recollection of visiting here when I was young. My grandma brought me here and I had not returned, until yesterday. What a treasure this restaurant is. With 8 locations throughout the ever growing city, we visited the original. The decor is a classic but high end feel. Fillippis' and La Bellas in SD should take notes. This family style environment doesn't have to have run down carpets and dark red paint on the walls with fake plants, that most restaurants of this caliber tend to have. Guiseppis has tile throughout and a beautifully painted mural that places you right in the middle of Venice, Italy. It even has a Disneyland effect when the lights are turned low. The food is excellent. We ordered Lasagna and a famous house Chicken Parmigiana. The dessert however took the show. It was Flan. Not a typical Italian dessert but we are in Mexico after all. It was the most soft, custardy (is custardy even a word?) semi-sweet decadence I've tasted in a long time. Between 10 people the bill came to $225. That's $45 per couple. Beat that Big SD, where prices are soaring .
Personally, I’ve been to Giuseppis before, I have memories of my childhood related to it; being there, and always eating the small pepperoni pizza among the oreo milkshakes, it was one of my favorite…

⏳ I've been dining here since 1988 and still love it💕 They don't serve vegetables with the entree anymore and the garlic bread is different but it's still a menu with various good food 🍕🍝🥗🍛🍲🍮, a beautiful environment and you can dress comfortably, low-cost, nice clean restrooms and valet parking✨ I highly recommend it 👍🏻I went two weeks ago with a friend and took pictures of their beautiful murals in the hall 🌷🌷
If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant in the heart Tijuana you just found it. The moment you arrive to the minute you leave you will great customer service. If you are coming here for a small group or large group you found it. Vegetarian for meat lover you have a great selections on the menu for food choices. You have great salads for start appetizers and soups. The pizza is excellent. If you’re vegetarian, I highly recommend the vegetarian pizza. Also, you have vegetarian pasta and amazing chicken dishes. Overall, they have numerous locations around the Tijuana area. Valley parking in limited self parking. Overall food is consistent and the service is always good.
It was great for a bit, the food is great and delicious as it has always been. The service from the waiters has a lot to wish for since you gotta be hunting them down for them to approach your table but I understand it’s a big restaurant so it’s somewhat fine, BUT the atmosphere was great up until they brought up live music, we came to eat not to a concert, I would prefer to be able to keep having a conversation with my friends and family than to have it be interrupted by a live musical group in a close environment where it echoes and cuts off the vibe abruptly. Honestly that’s my main complaint about the place.
Got seated and then started off with a Pitcher of Sangria. Then we ordered: Pizza Superoni (Ham, Bacon, Pepperoni, Chorizo, Mushrooms and Black Olives), Ensalada Espinacas (Almonds, Raisins, Apple, Orange Dressing), Ensalada Tex Mex (BBQ Chicken, Beans, Avocado, Red Onion, Cilantro), Pescado Crema Ajo (Fish with Garlic Cream Sauce) with Sopa (Bean Soup) and Ensalada (Salad with Italian Dressing) and Pan Ajillo (Garlic Bread). The food was alright and the service was a bit slow. The Ensalada Tex Mex looked the best, the pizza and the Pescado Crema Ajo was alright as well. The parking situation was crazy though! We tried to get out but we had like 3 cars blocking us in, just chaotic with the street traffic driving fast.
The food is good but we went there at 12 and they said that they opened until 1pm or 1:30pm and the workers where even on the place still

The pizza size has been reduced by almost half. They have also changed their flour recipe and the entire family felt very bloated. We also ordered the lasagna and ravioli, and the taste quality also changed. In this location it gets really busy, and the cashier is usually very moody. My parents introduced me to this restaurant because it was their favorite pizza place while growing up. Unfortunately the quality has been significantly reduced as also the portions while the price has increased.
UPDATE 2023-11 Well, we used to like this place. Today we visited again and found this jewel of a restaurant with a long proud history in Tijuana has lost its luster. The food portions are smaller, prices have increased, naturally, but the major change was in the quality of the food; it has diminished greatly. The lasagna from Costco's freezer section has more flavor! And, our entrees were not served hot. Today's visit felt like the accountants are running the company with all the cuts in food quality. With its history, we hope positive changes are coming. With so many good restaurants to eat at in Tijuana, we will dine elsewhere. 2018 - We really like this place for casual dining. Serving Italian food and pizza with beer and wine pairings the small local chain serves delicious food. Lasagna, ravioli, fettuccine Alfredo with or without chicken are all good choices. The salads are quite good too. Their home baked bread is delicious and we like to request it warmed. It's yum with the homemade garlic butter. Each meal comes with Mediterranean Vegetable soup, salad and bread. Just choose your favorite wine or other drink. Dinner for 2 is typically around $20 - $25 dls. Provecho.
