Avis sur Amo Poké Torino
I had a great time. Luckily, the dishes don't fill you up straight away because they're seasoned with little rice, which gives you the chance to try more things.
Very good poke, it's not the first time I come but this time I feel like complimenting the girl Jessica who served us who was very kind and helpful, especially with my aunt in choosing the ingredients😊
I don't know what the food is like, because I've never eaten there. But tonight you quickly prepared my takeout order for a guy in need. Thank you so much ❤️
Of all the poke places I've tried, I have to say this is the best for two reasons: first, the quality of the food, and second, the service. The food is fresh: the rice is well-cooked (it's often overcooked or tough), the fish is fresh and not watered down, and the sauces are tasty. But, above all, I find the reservation process efficient. In fact, poke is the traditional grab-and-go meal you find in a hurry, and instead, you're forced to wait in front of someone who wastes a good five minutes looking at the displays and choosing the ingredients. Here, however, as soon as you enter, there's a table with paper and pen where you can compose your poke, and you only go to the register to pay. This gives you plenty of time to decide and can get to the register quickly without blocking the service. An extra star for the waiters at this one on Via Livorno: they're extremely kind, friendly, and always smiling. The atmosphere is clean and the price is average.
Nice Bowls
Excellent pokeria; the food quality has improved since they opened. I also recommend the alternative raw meat sushi, spicy and tasty! I'm not giving it a fifth star for two reasons: You can't order coffee at dinner because the cafeteria inside closes at 9:00 PM, a real shame. The second reason: the cashier is slow, but the service is fast.
I had the pleasure of visiting Amo Poke, a new place located inside the Ipercoop shopping center on Via Livorno, and I have to say the experience was mildly positive. The place is clean and well-organized, with a cold atmosphere and zero personalization. The staff greets you but nothing more. The quality of the ingredients seems good; everything is fresh and well-presented and visible. I particularly appreciated the variety of options available, which allow you to customize your poke based on your personal tastes. As you can see in the photo, you have to fill out a clearly and simply written form. However, when I got my poke home, they made the wrong sauces. The photos and videos I took during my visit clearly show the place and the counter. In conclusion, in my personal opinion, having only been there once, I wouldn't recommend this place, considering how many places serve poke we're in.
The first experience was with takeout, when we had to wait an hour and a half longer than we were told when we placed our order. The sushi was pretty good, but the price was high for the quality and quantity. The second time we went in, I walked in, and for 5 minutes no one asked me what I wanted or if I wanted anything. Then, after asking the guys at the bar where and how it works, they took my order and handed me the vibrating device. While we were waiting, the lady behind the counter arrived, turned on a light, and started circling us even though we were with two small children, one of whom was a newborn. SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND! NEVER AGAIN!
They use canned mango in syrup, not fresh!! And they even charge extra for it 🤮 The staff is very friendly, but unfortunately the ingredients are really poor quality 👎🏻 I was surprised because I've eaten at this poke chain before and it wasn't this bad.
Terrible place! I ordered nachos with guacamole. The salsa came from a dirty, horrible tube, and the nachos came from a bag of chips. How sad when fresh nachos can be made with fresh tortillas cut into quarters and fried. Horrible!! They couldn't refund me because I'd already paid. Unbelievable! They gave me a larger portion of edamame, but it was also very salty.
We ordered 2 poké, 1 large and 1 regular. When we picked it up, they gave us 2 regular ones. The lady behind the counter was touching the ordering tablet with gloves, and after we finished ordering, she started preparing them with the same gloves. She also touched the receipt and money WITH THE SAME GLOVES. Hygiene comes first!
Really rude staff!!! This evening I enter the restaurant at 6:45 pm and with the restaurant completely empty I prepare to order waiting for ten minutes like an idiot in front of the cash register without anyone taking the order. After ten minutes the girl behind the counter also speaks rudely since I take at this point and leave... I had also been weeks ago to get take-out and that time too the staff was really rude and annoyed by the customers. Also worth mentioning is the sushi man who prepares the sushi with inappropriate clothes and touching various containers and objects outside the kitchen with the preparation gloves (he even goes out and goes to the bathroom with gloves on his hands😑). Food reduced in portions and of very poor quality compared to the first opening periods. Strange that you still haven't lowered the shutter, the only thing that saves you is take-out with the various delivery platforms. Total disappointment. It's a shame because I was a loyal customer.
We hadn't been here in a few months. At first glance, we appreciated the elimination of paper menus and placemats; we thought it was an eco-friendly choice. However, it was clearly a cost-effective choice. Unfortunately, this choice also affected the quality of the poke: smaller portions, bland rice, and nonexistent sauces. I don't think we'll be back; for us, it used to be a benchmark for quality and speed. The cashier is always very courteous and kind!!
I would have given it a 5 a while ago, but now the service is truly disappointing. The people preparing the sushi wear their own clothes, not the restaurant's aprons like the others. They wear gloves, but they're constantly touching their phones—really unhygienic. The portions have really dropped, as has the quality, and despite the small number of people there, the service is incredibly slow. If things don't get back to normal, I won't set foot in there again.
My boyfriend and I order our Pokés. At the counter, they tell us that the mango salsa and Philadelphia (which we had chosen) aren't available. The mango salsa wasn't even available two weeks ago. We order an alternative and wait a good 20 minutes. We finally eat, and in one of the Pokés, we find edamame (which we didn't order). What if we had been allergic?! But the best part is yet to come. We realize that the Philadelphia is there; they simply use it for sushi. Pokés cost less, so aren't they worth the little Philadelphia left?! Poor organization, slowness, and ingredients that are missing and magically reappear. Oh, and never order "olive oil" as a condiment. It's terribly tart!
7:30 PM, Thursday evening. Literally 4 people in the restaurant. We order a poke and an OSAKA, plus a portion of ravioli. The poke is ready in 3 minutes. The rest of the order was completed when my companion had finished hers. 45 euros... for ravioli served in disposable aluminum containers... beyond the aesthetics... waste. The food quality is good overall, but the rice isn't completely evenly cooked. Osomaki with al dente rice, nigiri with well-cooked rice. Table service is nonexistent. And hearing someone's name called every time makes the experience very similar to bingo. I mean, at CapaToast they have beepers that you bring to your table and they vibrate to let you know when your dish is ready... Capa Toast... Absolutely unfair for the type of experience. I wouldn't recommend it. Also the staff seems annoyed when you walk in... just a nod.
