We had such a fun night celebrating with friends at Mr Chow Tribeca. The atmosphere was lively, the service was excellent, and the whole evening just felt special. The food was delicious and perfect for sharing. To top it off, we even spotted LL Cool J while we were there — definitely a cool surprise that made the night even more memorable. A great place to celebrate and enjoy time with friends.

The adventure of Mr. Chow begins the minute you walk in the door and the Maitre D shakes your hand & wecomes you. Food was delicious and the crowd lively and very downtown. Great overall experience

Amazing food. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Our experience was top notch. Tried a few things we normally wouldn’t have because the waiter recommended them and they were delicious.

Seeing friends after 20 years and catching up makes you forget to take food photos 😂 Very fancy Chinese fine dining. Been to Mr Chow in Los Angeles a few years back. The best was an amazingly crispy gambler duck with pancakes. Don't miss out on that experience. Service was exceptional. Rose wine superb. All recommendations. We sat outside on a lovely summer night. Inside sitting is very elegant too. Nice experience.

Has has always been top notch here but recently we’ve seen portions being reduced and prices gone up. Last night we had a unfortunate experience when we (7 people) were wrongly charged for 11 bottles of Pelegrino when we only had 4, and they put up a fight with us over it. That’s why they loose a star for my review. Otherwise great place, but we will probably think twice before coming back after a small sour taste from the argument.

The space itself is quite nice, and the service is a bit theatrical (wine cart, food on silver dishes, monogrammed plates). The dishes are quite pricey. The portions seem a bit small when they come out, but the food is filling.

A group of 5 of us decided to visit Mr. Chow on Saturday night for a bite and some drinks. We were seated, our waiter came over to take our order, we placed our order and primarily wanted appetizers so we ordered a few, and a side, but we were told we needed to order a main dish to get a side (which makes no sense); however, we decided to order a main as well without issue. Throughout the service, we also ordered a bottle of wine. Throughout the experience, we felt so rushed, they were beginning to pick up our plates even though we had not finished, felt rushed to order additional items, and the overall experience just was not pleasant. Out of the group, there was one person who had never visited Mr. Chow before, and she was entirely disappointed with the overall experience. We would certainly not be back to this location for dinner, but we certainly wish them the best.

Probably the worst restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Waiter didn’t bring us menus until we asked for it, food felt like it’s cooked in bulk in the back and just tossed out when ordered. The knife broke in legit half while my partner cut his chicken satay. The waiters… i don’t even know if you should call them waiters, distracted..unattentive.. just a terrible experience

Horrible from start to finish. Service was not spaced out appropriately. Felt very pushy to order more food even though we are 4 girls that Don’t need an app and an entree. They told us there was a minimum of $75 spent but drinks or dessert doesn’t count in that minimum. The staff seemed very stressed out to make a sale. Just a horrible dining experience. Will not be back. Seems like this place lost being relevant but this type of hospitality will just push people away further.

Quite possibly the worst dining experience ever. I knew it was going downhill as soon as my “5 spice old fashioned” came out in a glass full of ice. Which by the way tasted like Fireball on the rocks. We didn’t even stay to order dinner after our appetizers tasted nothing more than frozen food from Trader Joe’s. This place is just a name at this point, the reality is it’s just way overpriced Chinese food.
