El Taco Loco

For a low cost Taqueria I was very pleased. Usual Mexican choices & cater to Vegetarian & vegans nicely. All food cooked in vegan friendly ingredients when asked. Very low costs..

When I want Mexican/Hispanic food, this is where I want to go. The food tastes great. The atmosphere is friendly and family friendly. The food can be mild to very spicy, so this can satisfy anyone in your party!

We have been "eating in" and "taking out" Taco Loco's really good authentic Mexican food, for over ten years. Fast service, very clean! Heavy wooden tables that don't "rock and roll." You know the food is authentic when the majority of diners appear to be of Hispanic origin.

I love the flavor of their food, the variety of the menu, and the staff makes you feel like family. I have been coming here for a long time, and it's still my go-to place.

They are always friendly and helpful. The food is really good.

So glad they are open with takeout orders. Fast, and delicious menu choices. Cheerful staff greets you at the counter. Looking for delicious Mexican food, choose this place.

I love this place. I've never been disappointed and actually am always surprised how good it is!! Service is outstanding too. The front door messes with everyone tho:)

The atmosphere was pleasant and clean. We are in and our food was presented in a timely manner. Everything was delicious. I would recommend eating here.

The dining room was nice and tidy but ean and well taken care of service was good we ordered carnitas burrito, beef quesadillas, Pozole soup and sweet tamales with atole which Ive never had it before it is absolutely what I need in the cold evening, food was great I love thier salsa/ condiment bar which you can just pack yourself they have great selection of salsa and pickles stuff. Im glad we finally got to know how good this place is and will definitely coming back again.

I had the basic burrito with shredded chicken. Super tasty, especially with the five different home made salsas and even whole jalapeño peppers included from the salsa bar...good chips. Cost me $8.40 including tax and I was full and I am a big eater. Great flavors and nice people too.

I'm extremely cautious about restaurants and cleanliness. Taco Loco is one you can trust. Food is ALWAYS delicious. With their amazing salsa bar, you'll find the option that best fits your heat level.. On weekends there is live music. The last time I went, they paired the DJ with talented Latino singers. The music can be pretty loud, so be seat yourself accordingly if you're one that isn't into it. They offer both into and outdoor dining options.

My kids absolutely love their tamales, and they are 6 year old picky eaters. Their burrito mojado was amazing and they are very friendly.

Fresh chips (they were still warm), good salsa bar, horchata was amazing as well as the chimichanga combo, lightly fried to a crisp and not overdone. Food wasn't too greasy which can be difficult with mexi. Service was good and the woman who took our order was friendly. We'll come back again

Never had any problems. Always fast, kind, decently priced. They even have a karaoke night!

Semi-regular at their second restaurant on State Street. I really like the salsa bar and my co-workers always swoop on the Mexican cokes. The food isn't the best I've had but that isn't to say it isn't good because it is quite good. No one that I have ever brought here has ever left disappointed. The carne asada soft tacos are awesome.

Good was AMAZiNG. Only reason not 5 stars is salsa bar was "destroyed". I don't know how long it was like that, so it could of been people just before me made it a mess. I don't know.

The place looks a little dirty. The service was decent, prices are very affordable. The only reason this restaurant gets 3 stars from me is because of the marinated pork tacos. They are really good. Everything else was just meh. Possibly the greasiest food I have ever eaten. There was a puddle of grease in the plastic bag, kinda gross. I will go back for the marinated pork tacos though.

The plate was NOT hot. I ordered a shredded chicken burrito. It was served hot and fast and was ok, nothing to want to come back for. Salsa was good. Chips I got looked burnt and tasted that way, but I looked over at the guy next to me and his looked good. I guess that's a hit or miss.

Stale chips, $1 refills, gotta order like fast food but expect you to tip, overpriced for what your getting. Guessing this far up north it's hard to find good Mexican food. Beans were the best thing about my meal.

Love the food....the Plato Fiesta is great! but now they stopped accepting cards ... seeing i rarely carry cash that's annoying ... sorry... I can't give a good review... change the policy and I'll be back : )

Stay away. At least if you are driving through and expecting average quality Mexican food. My “benchmarks” are always chips, guacamole and pulled pork. We also got quesadillas, salad and a drink. But truly, do you want to get guacamole from a package with dried out and burned pork?? Chips smelled like they recycled their oil for many days. I’m more surprised than disappointed and thus one extra star. This review might be affected by COVID.

Wanted a burrito with everything but it didnt look and taste good and was poorly made. I dont even know what kind of meat they gave me and it was pricey and took forever to serve when i was the only one there that afternoon. They were kind but i wont buy again.

The food is pretty good, but when the younger chunky lady is working she is very rude and prejudice to boot...if you're white and there are Hispanics ordering behind you, bank on the fact that she'll put their order before yours. The owner lady is very nice and respectful and treats everyone the same. She's there saving grace.

Been here 4 times. They've got good food but horrible service. Got my order wrong 2 out of 4 times. Not good to get meat in your burrito when you dont eat meat....so, if you're ok with a 50-50 chance of getting your order as you wanted it, then try them out. Lol

Unfortunately our experience was far from exceptional. I ordered a crane asada burrito which had generous servings of all the fixings except the meat which almost seemed deep fried and dry. My wife order chicken tacos. The meat in her tacos was full of fat and not tasty at all. Maybe we caught them on an off day. Hopefully our next experience is better than the last one.
