No complaints about this place. The strawberry+cream cheese croissants are yummy, the crullers are light, and the plain cake doughnuts are soft and sweet; just perfect with a bottle of milk. The sister store Jelly Donut in Fairfield on West Texas is just as awesome and the staff are very friendly. You want good, local doughnuts? This is the place to go.

I've tried bunch of different donuts shop in Vacaville, Fairfield area. This shop is the best! So tasty and fluffy fresh taste! Definitely I'd come back again!

Listen. These are the best donuts I've ever had. Now. When you see me write that, you think it's hyperbole. You think I'm exaggerating. I am not. These are very special donuts. You owe it to yourself to try it out if you're coming up or down 50. Right off the freeway. Stop in. Sweet people, excellent selection. It's an old-school donuts shop in the best possible way. Delicious. Be prepared to wait in line a bit if you want the fresh ones early in the morning, but it is worth it. The crew is friendly and they have tons of options, including the now popular cronuts. My favorite is maple-bacon!

Just moved to the area, needed a good donut spot. The Queen had me covered. The donuts were fresh and delicious. I knew I picked a good spot when there were plenty of people inside on an early Saturday morning.

Definitely a nice, clean and cheerful little mom & pop shop that is worth checking out. If you are in the area they have a great selection of many donut and treats for all, from all the great classics to some that unique to them. I've tried their cinnamon rolls, and apple fritters which were both very tasty, but my all time go to for me, is their chocolate donut holes. Their prices are reasonable, their service is of high quality in all the times I've been, and they always served me with a smile, plus their shop is and has always been clean. Still making their donuts the old fashion way and with love. If you are in the area and in the mood for a tasty treat, stop in and give them a try. no other place I will go for doughnuts! they have an abundance of selection. and they're always ready to help to the completion of order. everyone has bad days, but they conceal theirs quite well, cause I have never seen them rude or upset.

Scored a chocolate covered cake donut still warm and crunchy. One can not go far wrong on that. I picked a fritter from the display. Perhaps slightly over done on edge once I got eating though great mix of apple and donut, the outer crispy kept it from getting soggy from the good quantity of apple. Sold traditional donuts.

They used to be my favorite donut shop. I'm not sure what changed. The cruller donuts tasted stall and dry, and their apple fritters (which were the absolute best) are hit and more so miss. I need them to go back to the quality they used to push out... it was great. I'd drive 15-30 min out the way to bring them to work

Couldn’t even put down the first bite gross. Plus they are half the size of a burrito supreme for almost $7. Should have gone next door to Burrito Express where the food and service is a 5 star rating.

The donuts was terrible, big change, won't be patronizing no way soon

This had been my go to for years. Recently appears to have changed ownership and I am increasingly disappointed with the product. The new workers are pretty good, responsive attentive and have a smile. The chocolate on the bar and round donuts is often very slim amount or tasting very cheap and fake. Today I just witnessed a barely 3/4 full cabinet without a single glazed option and it wasn't even 7 am! No donuts were being made either. I hope this is just a rough patch, because this has always been a premier place to get a quality donut. I am so sad for the last 8 to 12 months it has strongly been trending the other direction.

Unfortunately the Donut Queen that we know and love is gone. My understanding is that this business has been sold. I stopped in for a maple cruller. It did look a little deflated in the case but I decided to give it a try. The donut was worse than it looked. A cruller should be light and fluffy. This was greasy and heavy. The maple frosting was all wrong and tasted like fake maple. This has been our go to donut place for over 15 years. If the old owners read this, please know how much you are missed and that my fingers are crossed that you open a new shop or repo this one!

Always had been a solid choice but got half a dozen today and they are inedible. The bars are flat and oily. The chocolate and maple is flaking off. Undercooked is my guess, or cold oil. Truly awful waste of money.
