This place is a best kept secret, locals only, neighborhood gem. From the outside it’s totally unassuming, but once you walk in you’re hit with that classic old-school diner feel — counter seating, booths, and a room full of regulars who clearly come here all the time. The kind of spot where people walk in and the waitresses already know their preferred seats, names and orders. It feels lived-in in the best way, warm and welcoming, like it’s been holding the neighborhood together for years. And the food absolutely delivers. The cheeseburger was fantastic. Light, perfect bun, super juicy patty, great flavor — it reminded me of a Pie ’n Burger or a classic NYC corner bistro burger. The fries were excellent and hit the spot alongside it. My son loved his Mickey Mouse pancakes, and my husband’s huevos rancheros were hearty and flavorful. No milkshakes. Comfort diner food done right.

The food at zig’s was so good my son complimented the chef on how it was good. You should come here and it’s like so cheap you could get a burger for 5 bucks.

I love this diner just one of the last places you can go and experience a true diner experience. The food is made fresh and often times by hand. I absolutely love everything. I eat here whether it’s the buffalo chicken sandwich which you can also get us a wrap, the 10 on the bun burger, the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup, the bullet, which is a favorite all the different breakfast and food items here this is one of the last places you can go to experience food like this with prices like this. I recommend it. I’ve been coming here for years and you’ll meet many other people that have two so whatever you do make sure you come in and be friendly to the staff they will spoil you like you were family.

Best diner in the valley. Everything is made from scratch. Onion rings, fried zucchini, were the best I've ever had. The burger was delicious. The prices are very reasonable. This place is the bomb. Lots of parking. Lovely, friendly wait staff. It's my new favorite restaurant.

From the outside, this place doesn’t seem like much, but once you’re inside, your perception quickly changes. It is a super cute, little diner with a friendly and attentive staff. And the food— man oh man it is delicious! Everything tasted super fresh and so well made! All the flavors were just right and so well put together! I cannot wait to come back to try more items on the menu! I had the huevos rancheros and let me tell you— as someone who has eaten in Mexico and therefore have high standards for Mexican dishes—this dish did not at all disappoint! It was so delicious, I am still thinking about it 3 hours later!

Small diner with great quality food. It sometimes get crowded but it's worth the wait. Pricing is very good too. My favorite is the 3-egg classic with bacon, hash browns and wheat toast.

Truly a hidden gem, with a bunch of characterful regulars and a really warm and caring staff. Love this place. One of few things I’ll miss if I ever leave LA.

If you can't find something that tickles your fancy, you might want to check your pulse. Outdoor dining, in front or back. Ample parking. They close at 4. Get there in plenty of time to order, eat and be done before they close.

However in the last couple years when i go there there is an older waitress there who has consistently messed up my order every time she waits on me. If i ask for something well done it isnt. If i order a plate of food as is it comes out missing something. She asks if you want substitutions that would never be asked elsewhere which ruined one meal for me. It only ever happens with this one terrible waitress. I just paid $13 for huevos rancheros that were an overeasy egg in some sort of soup. You cant be providing bad food and bad service while you're asking an extra dollar a plate. I probably wont be back which is a bummer since it was one of the few restaurants in the valley i still bothered giving money too. Well, not anymore.
