Avis sur Zinqué Venice
Hidden on the back, off the main road, very nice place, will be back.
All very good. Was a nice place to hang out, get a bite and a drink before driving to the airport.
Pleasant ambience and the staff was wonderful too. We came into town as a family for an art exhibit and decided to stop by for a early dinner. Everything was well balanced, and we were very happy with our overall meals.
I’ve been dining and getting coffee at Zinqué Venice for years now. The team working mornings is especially excellent (shoutout Cesar!), and I feel this place is now an extension of our home and family. The food and merch is incredible, all of it imported from France, the WiFi supports a great remote option, and at night the place comes alive around a beautiful 360° bar.
Zinqué is a modern French-style restaurant with a cozy, elegant vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. I especially loved the patio — warm and welcoming, with outdoor heaters that make it perfect even when the weather isn’t ideal. I came by for lunch, and as someone who loves breakfast restaurants and brunches, I can confidently say this spot nails it. The menu has a ton of great options, and everything I tried was seriously good. The charcuterie board and smoked salmon tartine were perfect for sharing — super fresh and flavorful. I also had the Camembert, arugula, and apple panini, and it hit all the right notes. Classic combo, done really well. On top of that, the coffee surprised me — in a good way. I had a flat white, and honestly, it’s better than what you get at most actual coffee shops these days. Smooth, balanced, and just well made. They also have their own store with a great selection of merch, kitchen items, wine, and rare spirits. One thing that really stood out to me was the vintage menu art collection — menus from various restaurants back in the day, full of character and history. Super cool touch that adds to the charm of the place. I also took a look at the dinner menu while I was there, and it looked amazing. I’m already looking forward to coming back next time I’m in LA to try it out. Zinqué feels like one of those places that works any time of day — brunch, lunch, or dinner — and leaves you wanting to return.
This place has a cozy feel, like a European cafe, and the food is great! The interior is stylish but warm, perfect for a quiet morning. The service is friendly, and the prices are slightly above average, but the food is worth it. It's a great place to start your day off with something delicious and relaxed!
We came to Zinqué for breakfast with a group of four, and the experience was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is simply mesmerizing — both the interior and exterior are beautifully designed. It’s tucked away in a quiet location, and the back patio is stunning, with a cozy heated terrace that makes it perfect for any time of year. One of the coolest surprises was the stylish little shop inside where you can buy Zinqué merch. The bar and seating areas are also beautifully arranged, giving the whole place a chic and welcoming vibe. We loved the modern touch of being able to order through a QR code — it’s such a smart feature, especially since you can see photos of each dish before ordering. Speaking of the food — it was absolutely magical! Huge compliments to the chef for crafting such a delicious and thoughtful menu. Even the coffee cups and plates were elegant and added to the overall experience. This place is truly a gem! The only downside — many of the indoor seats were taken up by people working on laptops, essentially turning the restaurant into a co-working space. It felt a bit out of place for such a beautiful spot meant for dining and relaxing. You can even see it clearly in some of the photos.
Zinqué has become a top pick for us in Venice, both for weekend brunches and weekday lunches. Its menu boasts a delightful blend of French and Mediterranean flavors, with the falafel sandwich standing out as a personal favorite of mine. Adjacent to the restaurant, they run a store offering a selection of fresh and canned goods as well as kitchen and bath ustensiles predominantly sourced from France. The store also feature an excellent wine selection.
We received excellent service from Romain! The burgers that we all tried were very delicious and the Aperol Spritz was very refreshing. One of the best burgers in Venice, comes with fries and a housemade sauce that is very similar to a remoulade. The outdoor seating is very nice, with a large parking lot for easy accessibility.
Very open and unique restaurant. Met friends for cocktails and tapas. Lots of wine selections. Charcuterie board was enough for 2 people but we made it work for 3. Try the fried artichokes. So good. Prosciutto was very good along with the bri and other cheese sweet pickles. The BUCATINI AUX MORILLES had so much great beefy and mushroom flavor with the thicker noodle’s, Steak Frites cooked perfect medium rare and grilled smoked taste. Lots of great cocktails.
I really like this as a spot to come work. The pastries were good but espresso drinks were not, in my opinion. It’s French so maybe the French like their espresso/coffee extra bitter, which I respect. Anyway, I do recommend this place to come hangout, eat, have a drink, get some work done.
Had dinner with a group of 6 on a Tuesday evening. The place was full and the vibe was great. Lighting and decor contributed to a chill yet enticing atmosphere. I had the Mezcal drink with pineapple. A little weak and a bit watered-down compared to other places with similar cocktail. However, the presentation was pretty. For my meal I had the Steak Frites. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the tenderness of the hanger steak and the depth of the peppercorn sauce! I asked for the Frites extra crispy and it did not disappoint. The aioli and ketchup it came with hit the spot! The portion was just right. I sure wish I tried some of the desserts. Price-wise it's a bit on the higher end for the portion size, especially on the pastas. The service was a bit spotty with the timing. Took a bit to get the drinks for the table and our water didn't get replenished automatically. But the servers were always smiling and willing to answer questions. Restroom can use some cleaning... Overall, it's a very nice place and a great experience. I will definitely be back to try another dish at this location.
Went in on a Sunday with a group of 4 and was able to seated outside pretty quick, there was a private event taking up half of the outside so we were only just able to be sat without a wait. Unfortunately the dumpster is right behind the patio area and it smelled so bad the whole time we were there. When a table further away from the dumpster became available we asked to move. The food and service is good. Fresh and good quality it’s a great spot for catching up with friends, brunch.
This hidden gem has a spacious, beautiful outdoor patio equipped with a fireplace for those wanting to be outdoors, or cozy up inside in their dimly lit restaurant. Either way you will be enjoying some serenity and low music in an atmosphere conducive to a perfect date night. Service is fast and excellence. They offer a variety of food to choose from, so I got the steak frites, topped with chumichurri. Definitely coming back again to try they're out the other menu items.
Great atmosphere and vibe! I like the space more than the West Hollywood location and they have more options. They also have a Happy Hour deal which is always nice to include food items. The wings are pretty good here with some Korean elements giving it a spice. I also liked their Pork Belly Taco. Very tasty and a bit more indulgent. Service was friendly and nice although too a little while to get the bill for dinner service. Overall, good spot in Venice Beach!
First time here. Apparently this place is a chain. Came for my friends birthday. Nice vibe here, laid back. I think we had 2 servers, one who took our order and one who delivered it to our table? Order taker was very curt and unfriendly but the server was amazing and nice. I had the steak fries and the steak was delicious and super tender! My friend had the mushroom pasta and said it was good as well. Portions sizes are just about right, not too big and not too small. Overall I would return again as I want to try something else off their menu and I do recommend this place to those who like French food to give this place a try.
The most lack-luster breakfast burrito on the west side. More tomatoes than crispy potatoes, $20, an alright portion, minimal bacon. That said... great atmosphere, the staff are friendly, the other food looks good, and I'll be back to try some other menu items + work from the cafe.
I had high expectations for Zinqué, but unfortunately the experience fell short in several areas. Upon arrival, our dog was reprimanded for being on the bench, which set an unwelcoming tone ....also you can see the condition of the benches in the picture The menu itself was overwhelming and poorly designed—the font looks like a dictionary, and the descriptions were not enticing or helpful. No recommendations were offered by the staff, which made navigating the menu even more difficult. Service was inconsistent. Food arrived at different times rather than together, and the only check-in from our server was a flat “you doing ok?”—no real engagement. Notably, only the support staff smiled or appeared friendly. As for the food: The smoked salmon with potato gratin was enjoyable and the highlight of the meal. There was a guy roaming around the entire dining room charging a vape in an outlet in the corner The mussels were disappointing; the broth tasted cold and had an overpowering fennel flavor. The quiche arrived burnt. The “salad” that accompanied the quiche was simply mixed greens—this is not a salad, just a side of greens tossed in an extremely acidic dressing. On a positive note, the bathroom was clean, which I do appreciate. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming and inattentive, especially given the reputation. There’s potential here, but improvements in service, menu clarity, and execution are needed.
It's unbearable to pick up any order here for takeout. The staff simply look at you with contempt. Besides taking a long time, they don't care at all. I waited 25 minutes for an order last Saturday. Meanwhile, the person in charge of the section was looking at their phone at the counter. My order was already ready, and I had to beg for attention. Terrible pick-up service. They are dealing with people, not animals. They should show more respect.
