Avis sur antojitos prim Veracruz
Quiet, affordable, and delicious Veracruz breakfasts, and lunches too! Highly recommended.
I update my experience, in total abandonment, they do not update, no climate, no payment by credit card and the worst thing is the waitresses do tastings and gestures when a customer arrives, they are sorry to serve and the Owner, I think he does not care about his Business, if only he would UPDATE EVERYTHING, this BUSINESS would continue GROWING and PROSPERING.!!
A very nice place, excellent service and very tasty Antojitos.
The place is super quiet, you eat comfortably, there's a variety of typical Veracruz food and above all it's very tasty.
Delicious!
Super
It's one of those places where you sit down today and look around, and you can tell they've been there for years. Their breakfasts are good, but their lunch special has that special flavor that only your mom or grandma could give you. Unfortunately, the younger generations prefer a more upscale place with lower quality food but more blogging. It's always worth supporting businesses with deep roots, traditions, and value in our cities.
The food is delicious, but the waitresses need to improve their service. Only Ms. Alicia provides excellent service. The taller waitress is just okay, and the other waitress always seems angry or like she's doing you a favor by serving you.
Very delicious food, although unfortunately the heat doesn't help much to enjoy the meal, although the staff makes a great effort to make it less noticeable. It's basically just junk food, although it's very delicious, especially for those traveling and new to the area. Perhaps I could only ask for an explanation of the menu because there are many things I hadn't heard of, and I didn't know what they were until I looked them up online (I guess you can ask anyway).
The comal quesadillas are delicious. Perfectly chopped and breaded. Delicious chocolate milk, tasty coffee, and a family atmosphere. While not elegant, the dishes are better quality than other expensive restaurants. The only downside is that they don't have air conditioning.
Although this business has been in Puerto Rico for years, I'd never been there before. But this time I had the chance to meet them for breakfast, and I really liked their appetizers. We ordered a half order of Prim chilaquiles ($99.00 MXN), two picadas prepared with pork rinds, not pressed but in sauce ($44.00 MXN each), a plain picada ($26.00 MXN), an order of refried beans ($46.00 MXN), and two large cafés lecheros ($47.00 MXN each). The chilaquiles had a good amount of cheese and a creamy, mild tomato sauce. The tortillas seemed to be fried, not made from bagged tortilla chips. The picadas were quite filling, so much so that I had a hard time eating the plain one; I should have just stuck to the two prepared ones. The coffee was rich but light, not too strong. The refried beans were good; you can tell they're made with butter. I didn't like the service at all. The waitress was too fast-paced even though it wasn't crowded, so it seemed like she was "throwing" things at you or leaving them for you without stopping. The place needs a facelift; unfortunately, it feels like it's in the past, like the one my grandparents and parents knew. While that's the clientele they still have, that same clientele is leaving us. If they want to survive, they must adapt to the tastes of the descendants of their former customers. The toilet had a leak in the hose, and a lot of water is wasted, but in general, the restroom area, all the way to the sinks, is neglected.
Good place to enjoy jarocho breakfast
The food is amazing, but the service is terrible. They throw food at you, answer rudely, say inappropriate things, and don't attend to you promptly. The atmosphere is awful, even though the place is very old.
The seasoning was very good, the place was quiet, the portions were generous, although in the end I felt it would be better to go to a buffet. A picada was expensive for $35 and a dobladas for $55. It's best to order the chilaquiles, if you eat a lot, one order will fill you up, it's very abundant.
The various effects that have affected the food I used to eat at this place, every time I'm in Veracruz. The chile huevillo and beans with a white gordita and black coffee from the machine. Even the coffee tasted the same now. The chile huevillo wasn't bad, it just tasted different from how pleasant it used to be; perhaps it had less cheese. I didn't notice the herb they used to add, and the white gordita arrived almost cold. The beans were good, but a very small portion. And considering there were only a few of us, the wait for the dishes was very long. Perhaps my perception also reflects the fact that they've reduced the number of tables. There were very few diners, and the four outside tables were reduced to two, which made it feel sad. I wouldn't return for the chile huevillo, but I still have two attractions: the buttons and the liver with onions. I hope they change for the better, and the next visit would be for those two cravings.
The snacks are good, although somewhat expensive, the service is very bad, some waitresses were very nice. I got a girl, the youngest one there, with a bad face, what I asked for, as if she was upset. I asked for something later and it took me about half an hour and she got lost when I got up. Another one helped me and 10 minutes later they gave me my health, which is why I do not recommend it.
It's expensive. I wouldn't complain about the price if it were a place that offered good service, was clean, and the waitresses didn't discriminate against you just for wearing a school uniform. From the moment we arrived, they gave us dirty looks, slammed the bill, and then took forever to bring it, even though they politely offered it to everyone else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND it. The food isn't even good.
