Local lunch spot that serves a great flavor. The chicken spiedie on a pita was very good. A little too greasy to eat in the car so I am glad I had chosen to eat in. The lunch business is brisk but the staff is efficient and the orders moved very quickly. This a good spot for lunch that won't set you back am arm and a leg and the food tastes good! Support the local guy. I would come here again

Delicious food but customer service needs to improve I love the caprese spiedie and my boyfriend loves the spiedissimo. Tried the chipotle and it was good as well. Ordered to go and they sometimes take longer than what they say over the phone. Had an employee mad at me because I was one minute early. Other than that everything is delicious.

I always enjoy a chicken speedies, today I also got a macaroni salad, never heard of olives in a macaroni salad, I took the olives out green and black and all I can taste is olives I had to add my own spices and more mayo to somewhat enjoy it

I've gotten spedie subs a few times before and they are always delicious, fresh and worth the price. Today I decided to order a spedie chicken salad. I was really disappointed in the amount of food. It wasn't worth the $12.00. Hardly any vegetables, lettuce and not much chicken spedie. I don't think I'll order the salad again. I'll stick with the subs.

I don’t like barbecue, but my whole family does. So I went with them because this place was highly recommended. I ordered something that was NOT barbecue flavor yet it had barbecue on it. I was disappointed that they didn’t have any fresh vegetables I understand it’s a barbecue shop, however, some fresh or alternative to BBQ options would be nice for the whole family and also a balance on the healthier side. The inside seemed outdated. I only gave it three stars because it seems that this long-standing restaurant has settled into mediocrity when it could be outstanding

Pretty good chicken spiedie’s, but they can be quite inconsistent. Some days they’re great, fresh tasting and juicy, other days the’re overcooked and dry. Also maybe take the giant open sign out of the window when you’re closed.

Finally tried it over here after my boyfriend kept raving about it. I got the spiedissimo, it’s the marinated chicken pieces (spiedies) with fried onions, peppers, and provolone. It was very tasty. The peppers and onions really make it tasty. The bread gets pretty soggy even from just a few minutes and the taste of the bread is pretty generic. The way everyone fusses over spiedies being an “Italian” tradition, yet no one pays attention to the bread in the real Italian way just makes it an ok American sandwich. Any classic deli will have better bread that can hold up to a juicy sandwich. This area rarely focuses on its bread. The sandwich was nice and I’ll be back. What really helps these places do well is that there aren’t real delicatessens to compete with in the area. There’s no competition, they can offer Italian dressing marinated dried out chicken chunks and everyone thinks it’s special. The Upper Front St. location has a nice grilled flavor at least. They advertize a sausage and pepper version.. maybe that’s more interesting.

I have ordered here numerous times giving this place chance after chance it’s gone down hill so bad! I place my order repeat my order numerous times and somehow they still can’t get it right. Pay for extra but never receive what I specifically ask for

I don't know what's going on with this place in Vestal but it's 6:45pm on Thursday and they say they're closing. No spiedies...no ribs, chicken, grill, or about half the rest of the menu. Website says they're open until 9. Huge pain.

They don't deserve the one star. Meat was so dry my throat hurts from trying to swallow the sandwich. we had two 12* sandwiches one pork and one chicken both 12 INCH and we had to throw both away really bad we had tomatoes and onions on them cut so thin I did't think it was possible we had to open the tasteless sandwich to check to see if anything besides the meat was there and above all it was tasteless is that possible OMG so bad. don't they eat there own food what's the matter with them one star well deserved

Ordered the iconic speedy salad. They took forever to make our order, on top of that they forgot about our order. Waited over 30 mins for food. Also quite pricy for just a small handful of chicken on some greens. Salad was good,, but service not.
