A lovely discovery. A warm and welcoming atmosphere perfect for spending a few hours with friends or family. The food is excellent, with simple yet tasty dishes that have that extra touch—after all, the Michelin-starred chef isn't a newcomer. The service needs work; it's a bit chaotic, but ultimately it made everyone feel welcome. Highly recommended.
Everything was excellent, starting with the internal parking. The atmosphere was warm and well-maintained. The food was sophisticated and excellent. The service and host were top-notch. We'll definitely be back.
Excellent dishes! From the appetizer to the casoncelli and tagliata, simple dishes but truly well-cooked! To finish, a delicious mille-feuille. Congratulations, and keep it up, Chef Cominelli and staff.
We have just been on holiday in Italy for two weeks with our 2 year old daughter. On our way back to the airport, we stopped here for lunch - mostly by coincidence. And what a lucky decision! Best food we had in Italy during this 2 weeks stay. Saved our Italy trip. Pasta was delicious and home made, the secondi were to die for - especially the tagliatta. And the prices were very fair! Grazie mille!
This is the second time I've been in the area for work, stopping with my partners for a business lunch: a very nice location with strong references to local traditions. There is also an outdoor space that can be used in the summer. Good, simple, well-presented food, quality wine. Quick, professional and courteous service. Perfect business lunch. I'll be back (I want to try the "normal" menu in the evening).
God working and good staf And very frindaly i like this
Traditional cuisine in a country setting, but Chef Cominelli's touch shines through in the dishes. He's not just in the kitchen, but also a delightful host and entertainer, suggesting daily specials and explaining the recipes. Everything is delicious. A perfect place for a good meal without all the fuss.

Chosen as a restaurant recommended by Slow Food. Dinner for two. Let me start by saying that we're simply "lovers of good food" and don't pretend, like many, to "have our say" by playing the role of critic-connoisseur-know-it-all. We had an appetizer, capocollo, tripe, crème caramel, dessert with ice cream and caramelized peaches, two glasses of red wine, two bottles of sparkling water, and two coffees. For us, it was all very satisfying. Regarding the prices, I can say that everything was in line with the offerings and what was advertised on the boards (although there were some discrepancies, as noted by other customers). We don't understand those who talk about surprises: just calculate what you order. Exorbitant prices? I don't think so. Perhaps it would be better to clearly indicate the cover charge as well. I ordered the tripe because it's a long dish to prepare at home, and finding it ready, hot, tasty, and well-cleaned is priceless. The capocollo was very flavorful and very tender. The two desserts truly surprised us. The recommended wine was perfect with the food. The tartlet from the appetizer was very tasty. The bread and breadsticks were fresh. The service wasn't "slick," but that's fine with us. If we can: perhaps a menu could be created that includes information about the ingredients used and the suppliers. We waited a bit to pay; perhaps the owner got lost chatting, but the waitress apologized. It would certainly have bothered the "classic customer with a burning desire." In that case, if I may, I suggest offering a digestif or coffee. We took the opportunity to meet the dog. Perhaps we could also consider replacing a couple of out-of-place outdoor furnishings. The bathroom area could also be a bit more refined (it feels a bit like a closet, with that mirror hiding the radiator or the vacuum cleaner left there). Convenient indoor parking. Paid 78 euros.
Premetto che ci era stato detto che nei fine settimana e nelle festività il menù consisteva in antipasto + primo o secondo. Tuttavia sia entrè che antipasto, dire caserecci è un eufemismoi: 1 fetta d…
The food is definitely good, just like it used to be, but the prices are definitely too high. Over €60 per person. I also suggest a menu with prices listed, so customers don't have to take a hit at the end.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to share my experience. On our way back from vacation in Friuli Venezia Giulia, my partner and I decided to stop at an osteria we found on Google, near the A4 highway. We called an hour in advance to reserve a table for two people plus our extremely well-behaved dog. Availability was confirmed, and we made our way to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a distinguished gentleman (presumably the manager) who seated us at a central table. We placed the dog next to us, but shortly thereafter we were repeatedly reprimanded for, according to him, staying under the table—which was practically impossible. In one of the reprimands, we were even told we would be kicked out, with no concrete alternative. An unpleasant situation, especially considering that the table had been assigned by them. We were served a small welcome appetizer, but no one asked us for drinks. The same gentleman took our order, his attitude becoming increasingly impolite, making the atmosphere truly unwelcoming. We were also told that some courses would require a 40-minute wait, effectively forcing us to order an appetizer we didn't like. My companion chose only the chicken in tomato sauce with polenta, even eliciting a grimace of disappointment from the manager. I opted for an appetizer and a casoncello. To our surprise, both the appetizer and the chicken arrived within ten minutes, and the casoncello, forgotten in the dining room, arrived a few minutes later. In short, the feared 40 minutes didn't materialize. I'm sorry to have to say this, because the food wasn't bad, but the total lack of courtesy and helpfulness turned what could have been a pleasant stop into a forgettable experience. With a little more hospitality, it would have been a whole different story. Kind regards.

We spent Christmas lunch here like many other years. Unfortunately, it got much worse: the length of the meal (4 and a half hours), the small portions (the cotechino was half a slice, the mashed potatoes were a teaspoon of coffee!), the food no longer good (the cotechino was always so salty it was inedible), and the place was so crowded that it was hard to get up. My experience at Cominelli ends here. We will never go again!!!
Just had lunch with my super friend Andrea bomber, nice place... But too crowded and completely disorganized due to lack of staff (savings).... Rude owner, he didn't even look us in the face when he came to order at the table.... We asked for bread which never arrived..... Highly not recommended... Going to eat at this place, in fact we hope it closes in 2026.
I visited Osteria Cominelli in Folzano with a couple of friends, intrigued by the restaurant, which was converted from a farmhouse I knew. From the moment I made my reservation over the phone with the chef, I sensed a certain rigidity in the menu ("antipasto for everyone"), which left me perplexed about the freedom of choice. Ambience and hospitality: Rustic osteria, but overly warm. An open bottle of wine awaited us at the table, presented by the chef as the "house special." We opted for a quarter of a liter of white wine (there were two of us drinking), but they served us a half liter. The meal: We ordered two appetizers to share between four. In addition to the included small jars of polenta taragna, two additional ones arrived unsolicited, which were later found on the bill (€42.00 total for rather poor appetizers). The lasagna, casoncelli, guanciale, and dessert were of good quality. The bill: it was the chef again, who, after having summarized the courses on the cash register, clearly unconvinced by the total, recalculated everything, adding a few euros more than the initial amount. Conclusion: A shame about the lack of transparency in management and the questionable commercial approach. I won't be returning.
A restaurant that evidently lives off the name of a "formerly famous" chef, now the dining room manager, but the result is some of the worst service I've ever received. There were 17 of us: we were forced to choose the fixed menu (understandably), but in our group there were 2 vegetarians, 1 lactose-intolerant person, and 1 pregnant woman. Nothing absurd. It would have been enough to organize 13 menus and 4 à la carte people, a very simple solution. But no: he decided everything. Result? – Wrong dishes – A bland and sad tomato pasta served to the lactose-free person – Some ate after the others had already finished – A 30-minute wait for 15 coffees Surreal moment: my boyfriend asks for an amaro he saw in the bottle rack and the owner says to the waitress, in front of everyone: "Be careful, that costs €100," in a clearly offensive tone, as if we couldn't afford it. The worst came with the bill: when we politely asked for a discount, given the disastrous management of the evening, the owner started yelling at one of the girls in the group, going so far as to tell us to "pay and leave," even threatening to call the police. When in reality, the only irregularity was that we were presented with a preliminary bill and not a receipt. Arrogant, rude, and unacceptable behavior, especially from someone who's supposed to represent the place. The only disappointment was for the girls who work there, forced to endure yelling and rude behavior from someone who has nothing to do with hospitality. Never again. Seriously, never again.
We found the dishes to be good, respectively. Too bad for the owner. Rude and impolite, he treats both employees and customers badly. We asked for a different dish on the menu for a girl with lactose intolerance; she was served a lousy pasta with tomato sauce, paid as if she had eaten a fine dish. When we asked for a fair discount, we ended up with him personally insulting one of our girls and threatening to leave the place immediately. An experience not to be repeated. He complained that it wasn't his fault that we had various problems in the company, such as being lactose intolerant and a vegetarian. This was the phrase that stuck with me the most. It's not my fault that the girl is pregnant. I hope all the employees at the restaurant find another job and leave it there, so maybe they can understand what life is like.
Terrible experience: We were a large group of friends, and the evening was completely inadequately managed. The problems began immediately with constant delays: an appetizer (identical to the others) arrived after the rest of the table had already finished. The management of dietary requirements was embarrassing: three people (no cheese, pregnant, and no pork) were treated with complete superficiality, with dishes brought without any attention or concern that they might be incorrect for the requests made. In one case, despite the manager having been clearly informed that one person didn't eat cheese, casoncelli with cheese on top arrived. When asked for an alternative, pasta with plain tomato sauce was served, clearly "to please." Delays with dishes were constant: two first courses (identical to the others') arrived about half an hour after the rest of the group. We were served second courses "to share": the receipt stated four portions, but the quantity didn't even remotely correspond to four portions. Anything else? Unable to order coffees with desserts, it took a good half hour to serve a dozen or so coffees, and loud complaints that we were the ones with "extreme needs" (neat, macchiato, decaf), the manager prevented the waitress from serving us the liqueur we'd have chosen, which we would have paid for, because it "cost too much," trying to force another one. The staff appeared visibly distressed and lacking autonomy. When it came to the bill, given the high price (€50 per person, even for those who had barely eaten) and the general discontent at the table, we asked for a small discount. The manager's response was immediately aggressive: he told us we had to "stay home" because we had too many needs (no cheese, no pregnancy, and no pork: three people out of 18). He raised his voice, refused any discussion, and even threatened to call the police, for no reason. The only positive note was the chef, who was kind and helpful. Obviously we will never return (even without the LORD telling us to) but after such a lack of professionalism and respect we think it is right that others know what they are getting into.
Terrible experience. Extremely poor service, mediocre portions. Several people at the table had their dishes forgotten, forcing them to wait and repeatedly request service. A lactose-intolerant woman, instead of receiving a valid alternative to the entrees on the menu, was served a bland pasta with tomato sauce. When it came time to get the bill, pointing out the lack of professionalism and the excessive wait, the alleged manager began shouting arrogantly, claiming that "being a trattoria," the wait was more than justified and that even a wait of more than half an hour would have been fine. He also complained about having to "modify the menu" due to the presence of a pregnant woman, lactose-intolerant people, and vegetarians, as if this were a problem rather than normal customer service. The whole thing ended in threatening tones, urging us to pay immediately and not come back. Unacceptable behavior and a total lack of respect for customers. An experience not to be repeated.
