Amazing hospitality and food.
The most amazing charcuterie board restaurant my friends and I have ever been too.
Don't expect anything ordinary. Giuseppe will take you through a path of absolutely unique cold cuts. All accompanied by a good wine. Enjoy this selection of very particular flavors, the relaxed atmosphere and a chat with the owner. You will not find a classic menu, but an experience. To respond to some absolutely out of place comments that I read here, if you want to spend two pennies go to fast food. You will always pay in proportion to the quality of the food
What an amazing place! The food was absolutely wonderful!! Meat, cheese, wine and the service was just absolutely wonderful! Despite difficulties with the language (English) you felt so welcome and no problems understanding what you were eating. It was so good! Definitely one of the best places in Milan! You just have to try this!
The most amazing charcuterie board restaurant my friends and I have ever been too. I wished I never had a dinner reservation at 10pm. They open at 830pm and my group was the first to arrive. The owner did not speak any English but was sooooo hospitable. We had a huge variety of cured meats and cheeses and we loved the wine that they recommended to us!!! Will definitely come back the next time in Milan. The only regret was not spending enough time and eating more here!!! PS- there is no menu and the owner will just bring out what is fresh and good that day! He also has a plate full of animals to help explain what the cured meats are for non Italian speakers.
A unique experience in Milan. There's no menu, but Mr. Beppe will guide you on a magical journey through cured meats, cheeses, and wines. They offer truly unique and rarely seen cured meat and cheese platters, each with a unique story and impeccably narrated by Mr. Beppe. The price was very reasonable for what I ate. The service was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
Beppe is one of a kind; you won't find a place or host like him anywhere else in Milan. Excellent selection of cured meats and cheeses, carefully selected only from small producers. The recommended wine is also excellent. It must be said, however, that this isn't a place for everyone. When Beppe speaks, you have to listen; it's mandatory. If you do as he says, he'll quickly become like your favorite uncle from Tropea!
Fantastic place, there's not a same in the world
This is without a shadow of a doubt my absolute favourite restaurant in the world. The owner Beppe is a master host, (Italian only) and such fun to talk to. The meats and cheeses are like nothing else I have ever experienced in my life. I want to live in this place and just eat. This is my ultimate happiness.
The bad reviews that I see here is because they never understood the way this place works. I discovered this spot 2 years ago and is unique. Like the owner says is not a restaurant, he explained to me this when I got there asking for a menu. I highly recommend Sappori stellari if you want to have a different experience, this is slow food, that means that the moment you get there you’ll get a whole experience that would last at least 2 hours. 🙌🏼💜

Top food, top service, top atmosphere. Just top!
It was an amazing experience. The owner is awesome and super passionate about what he does. The meats were incredible. Do not listen to reviews that say it's too expensive. It was not that bad and definitely worth it. If you cannot appreciate cured meats. Maybe it's not for you.

Summarize: Very very nice experience, price correct but not transparent. Almost 4 hours for dinner. Prepare at least 25€ per person (without drink). First of all, the boss came to tell us this was not in restaurant, they would chose everything for us. We were ok for that and asked him to chose a red wine. Have to say, the wine was perfect with the meat. The boss himself came to make a presentation of the dish, what kind of meat, which part etc, hi didn't speak English but he really tried to make us understand, by using some figures and asking other person to translate... (Very animated evening) Secondly, he brought the dish with a slow rythme, some of you may have difficulty to be patient... 4 hours for dinner is not easy... But I think it was reasonable because we need time to make our tough to "calm" to taste next round. And yes for every round he brought different kind of meat and informed what is the correct order to taste, from light to strong, that was amazing!! Ok finally, what we had and what we paid. We had 4 rounds of salami, and 2 rounds of cheese, bread for free, one bottle of red wine (top, chosen by the boss), two glasses of white wine and one bottle of beer, two bottles of water. 80€ in total. The price seems correct for us, but not transparent, because they don't inform how much the meal and how much the drinks, it seems that they make a proximal price for every table, but still correct. Any way, it was a good experiences and worth to do.
A small and intimate place. The owner, originally from Calabria but born in Milan, takes care of every detail. There's no kitchen, so don't expect cooked food, and there's no menu: the dishes are the same for everyone! It's a five-course menu of carefully selected and flavorful cured meats, and finally cheeses. Everything is homemade and, according to him, hard to find on the Milanese market: the products are typical of various localities and are not at the mercy of supermarkets. Average price: €35 per person. A bit pricey for the location and the table, but given that this is Milan, the tasting menu (because that's what it is) isn't all that unrealistic. In fact, if you want to try different flavors, it's highly recommended! The staff is friendly and very welcoming :)
The place is cozy but the owner is crazy and with bad manners. The food is only salami and cheeses and nothing else at a very expensive price . When I say ONLY salami ,I mean ONLY. The service is extremely slow! The worst experience I had in an Italian restaurant , I will never ever return !
