I love the consistency of their food and service regardless of which location you hit . They never disappoint. Today they had a new soup, Mexican corn chowder. I will return just for that!

Went to order takeaway lunch . It took 5 minutes and I was on my way back with a freshly packed lunch. Toasted bagel smells great. Awesome tasty lunch.

Got an in store pick up order of coffee but forget I got my baby in the car and can. Not work in left him in the car and call store three time no one answer(Sunday lunch time I totally understand ) finally got helped by a lady when she is delivered one order for other customer. Did got her name but she is a little bit of chubby and wear a glasses . She is really nice and helped me out . Really want to say thank you so much . I being coming to this location for years and I really love it . You know McDonald’s just 2 yard away and they have drive through but I always like Panera bread . Thank you .

Clean store, good service. Madelynn is fantastic! Had an issue where I ordered to the wrong restaurant and she took my mistake and handled it A-Z. She redid my order, reapplied a 1 time coupon I used in the initial order, AND called the other restaurant to cancel. In the end I had my exact order at the correct restaurant in minutes. Chris has helped me multiple times when I have come to Panera. He’s asked me about the weather, my day, solved any issue that may have happened, and did it with a smile. I’m not sure if he is the manager, but he carries himself with great leadership and its positive effect shows with the staff. Have been using their rapid pick-up lately and I must say overall at this location they take good care of you. Orders are prompt, fresh, clearly marked and easy to access. Havent had any mistakes yet and the one time I did have to wait for them to prepare something they noticed me almost immediately upon walking in and let me know and also offered me a free drink for the wait.

Panera bread is a little over priced and not very open to "changes" or special orders. I wanted a smoothie and they had various combinations but not the one i wanted , so i asked if i could have strawberry / blueberry. and they said NO .. no substitutions. YOu can get a smoothie Anywhere they serve them made to your specifications anywhere else. Just makes me think that the smoothie ingredients are prepackaged processed junk.. which takes the goodness out of a smoothie. So if you are thinking that they are a "healthy choice" with their facade of fresh baked bread.. those loaves are probably from pre packaged mixes with lots of preservatives also.. Not impressed

Pastries, bagels, and the most incredible breakfast souffles here! This Panera has plenty of parking, which is a bonus for the area. Quick, easy and healthy place for breakfast, lunch or supper. They offer free WiFi, but it tends to be slow or unreliable at times.

Lots of choices, even for my mom who has special dietary restrictions. The food was good and fresh. Prices were reasonable in respect to the current state of economy and inflation. The cashier was very friendly and personable which is always a plus these days as well.

Went in for a free soup, and low and behold! It was clean in there this time! Clean less crowded and an overall cery pleasant experience. The soup was their new ten veggie one, it was pretty good except for the lemons [aren't they fruits?] They could have left them out they had a negative impact on the flavor.

First time to Panera. The food was great! You order your food, you service your drinks, choose your seat, and wait for your notification that your food is ready for pickup.

This location's dining area is very big and I love how they have a bar type area with electrical outlets. I got a pumpkin muffin and a cinnamon roll. The muffin was fresh and soft and tasted good, I did wish they heated both items before I got them. The cinnamon roll tasted like lemon which I don't like that much so it was a little off putting to me. I like the self ordering kiosks, you can order from your table and they will bring to you plus the order ahead and grab and go area.

They have great salads here and good bread. Right now I don't think you can dine in, but I was able to get contact free curbside pickup. I ordered some chicken salad with pecans and other goodies. Was a very easy process, and the salad was fresh.

I have to say I'm utterly umderwhelmed. The outside looks cozy but the inside was cooler than expected. Interior is nicely furnished but I expected a wide array of coffees to be met with a sad counter holding premade coffee. The coffee cake was acceptable but not nearly memorable. Wouldn't really come here for a date either. Overall impression... Their menu has so much and delivers so little. I'd say lose the salads and soups etc. and focus on the bread and coffee THEN maybe I'll consider coming back. But until then, don't count on it Panera. ✌️✌️

For the price we paid for lunch we should have gotten larger portions or super tasty food. Both of which was in short supply during this visit. Drinks were watered down, tomato soup was about the size of a salsa dip. The salad was ok, Cuban sandwich was neither Cuban nor filling. Egads! Woe is me.

The wifi is super slow. We really need a better wifi ap machine cause I don't believe there's still a service provider will only give you 5 mbps. What a waste. Could be the best place hanging out.

We had the Asiago Bagel sandwiches with soup. Everything was tasty and we devoured our lunch. Not too busy for Saturday lunchtime. Dining room needed cleaning so we cleaned our own table.

Typically when I come here the waits are a little above average. Even with mobile orders. Quality of the food is always great though. Just definitely don’t want to be in a rush coming here. Hopefully management is working that.

This place is going downhill. The day we visited the drink station was overflowing onto the ground. Big puddle of water. Slipping hazard. A few weeks before that noticed parts of the ceiling was missing. They installed locks on the bathrooms. The tables are always dirty. No one cleans them. Customers have to pick up their own food. Most of the time the pagers don't work. They yell out your name so you can only hear them if your sitting near the kitchen.

Every day we go to Panera we order the parfait and every time it gets smaller and smaller. Panera do you have any smaller containers then this and they also charges us for the same amount of money. 6.39 for such a small amount.

Have always enjoyed their breakfast quiches, soups & salads. Stopped by late morning for breakfast. All the quiches were gone so we had breakfast sandwiches which were just awful. The bread was dry & hard, eggs tepid like they had been sitting out for awhile. We won't be going back anytime soon.

I purchased a meal for a homeless man and explained to the staff what I did and to give him the food because I was going home with my order. I missed some items and came back to get them and the meal that I had purchased for the homeless man was still sitting there!!! I took the man the meal and left.

Panera Bread is rapidly declining as the number go-to place for a quick, healthy bite. Over the past few years I've been watching this company's customer service and quality control diminish severely. Yesterday was the tipping point for me. I placed an online order and when I went to pick it up (mind you I was about 10 mins late) it was nowhere near ready. Actually, there were about 15 people waiting for their food as well. I have NEVER seen Panera that far behind on orders before. I stood there waiting for 15 more mins before I called customer service to cancel my order. Waiting over 30 mins for food is unacceptable. (I never received an email regarding my canceled order either, so hopefully it goes through without problems.) This isn't the only bad instance I had with Panera recently. About a month ago when I got home with my food I noticed that they royally butchered my sandwich. I had ordered a Turkey BLT. Tell me why I received SLICED turkey, mustard instead of mayo, the wrong bread, they forgot to add the cheese I ordered, AND to top it off they didn't include a pickle. Holy Quality Control Batman! I couldn't believe it. And since that time this Panera location has forgotten my pickle two other times. I just wish Panera Bread can be what it used to - a place that set the bar high for other fast-casual restaurants. Now, I kind of get disgusted when I think of this company. They've been chopping items from their menu and changing a lot of things, and not for the better! I mean, they can't even keep their restaurants consistent, and what I mean by that is that some locations don't even have the updated recipes and some have different salads than others. It's the little things like this that speaks volumes for a brand. Sadly, I will be weaning myself off of Panera and will go to Chick-fil-A instead.

Poor customer service. Do not order smoothies here unless you want watered down expensive yogurt with a straw. I took it back to inquire about it and the employee unapologetically told me "That's how they've been coming out lately, we don't know why.", No offer to remake it with more ice, more fruit, or even a refund, just a 'too bad.' Why go here when they are surrounded by other restaurants in the area with better service? I like Panera but this location is below industry standards.

I hate to leave a bad review, but this was not a good experience. It's been several years since I attended a Panera Bread, and if this location is anything to go by, the quality has really declined. As other reviewers noted, the $14 sandwich I ordered was sadly lacking on ingredients. With cost of living skyrocketing, it's sad to order something so expensive, and receive something back I could have made better at home. And I'll do just that next time - stay home and make my own.

We ordered the whole Chicken BLT sandwich today, without bacon. Only to find 3 small strips of chicken and the rest crumbs of chicken! $15 for less than half of the usual volume of chicken! We are very disappointed, especially since we said no bacon! A request of no bacon should equate to a decent amount of chicken… not scraps of whatever is left. Unbelievable! Panera used to be known for quality…

Typically Panera is worth it. But not this location. The place is dirty. The bakery selection is terrible and the prepared food is hastily thrown together. I forgot why I stopped going to this location. Upon entering the doors today I remembered why. Back to finding a different location.

Panera bread has changed their whole menu. It's definitely worse quality. We tried a new sandwich, the Toasted Italiano sandwich. It was supposed to have a lot of meat like in their picture. But instead it had 3 slices of thin, sad meat. Such a disappointment. Also the bag of chips is only 1 oz. 1 measly oz. Like why? Who hurt you? I'm probably gonna stop going to Panera bread anymore. I used to go about once a week before this change.

That’s the reason I gave the service a 1 star. The wild rice soup here is gas tho. UPDATE: I just got back and opened my bag of food, Panera please package orders better. I open my bag to 2 bread rolls just out, no packaging.

Who knows if the plastic utensils package or bag of chips had been dropped on to the floor and put it back? For the price you charge, I think you can do better than this..

Morning crew is wonderful, but went for diner for the first time, and I could tell the young lady who I believe is the night manager was having a day, she was super passive aggressive, I could tell she was miserable by how rude she was, the issue was my sandwich which I've had before didn't have mozzarella so I took it back and she stated they don't carry it there, which is strange but also it didn't say anywhere in my order that they don't carry it, I guess I was supposed to magically know, she literally talked to me like I was supposed to magically know that they don't carry motzzarrela there, super rude super passive aggressive and super miserable.her attitude sucked.

I really dont understand the hype. Met here for lunch, was the first time eating here. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich because it sounded like exactly what I wanted. How the hell do you screw up grilled cheese? It wasnt crisp. It wasnt hot. You literally microwaved bread with cheese between it. Inexcusably bad.

If I can negative points, I will. They didn't have scones, but they allowed me to place an online order. No one contacted me that they didn't have the scones. I found out when I picked up the scones. Then they offered to give may a cookie. A COOKIE??? REALLY??? I had to run around to find the scones for the party I was supposed to attend. Thank you Panera bread. Thank you for your awful service.

My son & i frequent panera on saturdays & i generally rank most w 5 stars but this paricular location got very disappointing today. Was looking for the tradional grilled cheese sandwich but chanced upon the "Four cheese grilled sandwich" coz i saw it in the menu so thought we'd try it. Got it & it sucked!!! Was expecting a sandwich smothered in a variety of cheese but there was barely any. Looked like cheese was just squeezed out of a ketchup bottle & a teaspoon worth of cheese was spread on it! Goy me completely thrown off coz the sandwich after all is called the "4 cheese grilled sandwich"! We also ordered a plain bagel halved & toasted but it came as cold as friggin' 2-day old bread! So had to nuke the piece! Then the server did not even include butter or ask if we needed some. Who fu&@ eats toasted bagel plain w no spread?!! I urge anyone who orders take-out fr this joint to check what u got b4 u leave. Chefs/cooks that prepare food here reveals laziness & degraded quality. Like i said, most panera's prepare their food w attention to quality. We used to like this particular one but we're beginning to see a decline in thid one. Haven't been to Panera in a long time and was reminded why. The cashier was helpful and relatively friendly, but meal another story. Buzzer buzzed to pick up food, had to make two trips (no tray). While sandwich was good, apples looked like found in parking lot (very bruised) and pickle soggy and wilted (who eats the pickle???) Won't be doing this again.

We ordered two salads today and they were garbage. Lettuce was wilted brown and hardly in chicken in them. It was a waste of money. Never again will I waste $30 on lettuce.

I normally don’t do this; but this location needs to understand that you cannot fill all your coffee creamer options with whole milk and expect people not to notice. Either you have the right ingredients or you don’t. Hopefully someone on staff sees this and does something. I’ll gladly change my review once they do.

They wrapped my sandwich up with a mushy pickle slice. By the time I got home, the bread was super soggy with pickle juice making the sandwich difficult to eat. Not to mention I hate pickles so it ruined the flavor of my sandwich.

Went there a while back & ordered an egg sandwich & received no egg and it took them more than an hour to remake a stupid sandwich with a piece of egg in it. Went there again yesterday & received my food & waited more than 30mins & still didn't receive the drink I ordered. If it wasn't for me getting up & interrupting these girls & their gossiping, I would never have gotten it.

This location is a considerable public health risk, especially in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We ordered coffees to-go using the self-service kiosk and expected to pickup our order at the "rapid order" shelf as is the protocol for other to-go orders. To our concern, an associate handed us our cups with his entire palm on top of the lid, occluding the sip opening with an un-gloved hand. Additionally, when asked for creamer and sugar, he used a similar fashion to offer them to us; rather than practicing contactless hand off, we were prompted to take the condiments from his palm, thus inevitably coming into direct contact. An all around disappointing, and more critically, contaminating experience.

If you want your bowl of soup to fit in a cup (+7$) be my guest. Overpriced small proportions. Never again.

When I first entered in Panera Bread in Walnut, My friends and I were looking for a clean table to have our lunch. Even though there weren’t that many people most tables were dirty with crumbs on it. We had to clean it with our napkins after we ordered our food. Again, there were only few people but our order took about 25 min. I went to pick it up, they got the order wrong, and one of my friends didn’t get her order. I talked with the manager she said she will get her order and bring it herself to our table. We waited and waited about 20 min. Our friend didn’t have her food, we ended up sharing our food with her and got out of the place. Manager not on site. I wanted to make a big stink about it but didn’t want to ruin my friends day. We were feeling disappointed already. Manager of Walnut, learn to do your job! You’re not keeping the place clean and customers happy!!! I will not go back there again.

This is the third time I've been here and have gotten bad service. 1. They had no soups available when I ordered. 2. They didn't have the side order that I placed, and gave me two slices of white bread instead to compensate for the lack of. They held my food from the rapid order shelf even when I got there and didn't tell me they didn't have my side order that I placed. So I didn't know they withheld it, so I waited for the food to come out. 3. They didn't have my order ready by the time I was there 20 minutes AFTER I ordered. 4. The pasta was absolute garbage. Like a lean cuisine that went bad. Never get their pasta. 5. No employee helped when I stood at the counter for my food. At least 5 workers passed by me without a word and it wasn't a busy time. 6. Not worth the $10 I spent on one small meal.

Customers need to wipe their own tables. No napkins, our floor under our table was a mess. I placed a call to corporate in order to speak with supervisor. No representative bothered to call me back.

Extremely rude manager at this Panera. Have not been to a Panera in years but went to get a pack of bagels due to coworkers request before a meeting. What a extremely horrible way to start the day. Absolutely terrible customer service. If the manager has terrible customer service how can they lead the other staff?? Next time will definitely go to support the small bagel shops around the area instead. Can see why this place is going downhill. Never coming back. Don't come here unless you want a rude and horrible start to your day

I should have read the reviews before i came. I love Panera, but wow this place needs help. Its really dirty and not clean whatsoever. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. My goto at any Panera, The crutons were mixed between really soggy, or old and stale. The salad had little to no flavor. Wouldnt come back to this one!!!

I would never recommend going to this one. if they make a mistake in the order they don't listen to you and never correct the order. I ordered two Napa almond chicken salad sandwiches. When came home, there was no chicken salad inside but simply the bread and i lettuce leaf and sliced tomatoes. When i finally got connected with the so called manager, she would not listen and argued for 10 minutes trying to tell me that they couldn't do anything and asked me to drive back to them so that they can add a scoop of chicken salad because the PhD holders cannot make any mistake. Not to mention the fact that they are overpriced. PLEASE NOTE: THEY MAKE A FOOL OF THE PUBLIC BY WRITING ON THE RECEIPT THAT IF THE ORDER IS NOT CORRECT THEY WILL FIX IT RIGHT AWAY. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. TOTAL FRAUDS.

What’s happening with Walnut, CA Panera’s? Burned meal, dirty tables, and had to wait as cashier also busy making breakfast. Get your act together!

Awful looking bagels, they didn't include the cream cheese in the bag, paid almost $18 for these sorry looking bagels. Will never visit or order from this location again.

This place is filthy. I can believe how dirty this restaurant is. The floor was covered in dirt and the HVAC registers are covered in grime. We had to ask to have our table cleaned. It was covered in food crumbs.

I’m not sure how I feel right now, but it isn’t good. I don’t remember the sandwich’s being this small. I did order half sandwich, but for 11 dollars? This is what I get?

This is the second time I received already open bags of chips in my order. Today I received two already open bags of chips that are old and stale it’s disgusting. I would like a gift card to Panera. Not touching chips that already have holes in the bag upon arrival who knows that bugs have been on it. Manager, let me know when you’d like to fix this health hazard.

Underwhelming experience. The portion size seem rather small. The tables were dirty and the workers didn't seem to care to clean up. Won't be coming back

I tried to order a salad online last night. They were out of the salad mix. What kind of restaurant is out of lettuce at dinner time? This is the second or maybe third time they’ve been out of something. Their portions have gotten smaller. Even the baguettes have gotten smaller. I’ve been going here for two years and the prices have gone up consistently. I won’t be coming back.

The restaurant is not clean the food is frozen and the staff isn’t friendly we used to go everyday for launch and we used to spend 40-50$$$ not worth changed my whole review about the american food.

It is 10:27 am we stood in the front to order for 5 mins. No one came to the front until we had to look for someone. When we ordered, the young lady took our order and then she said oh i think breakfast is over. We walked out at 10:35 am. I will never return here. I have been to so many other Panera's and none have ever been as unwelcoming as this one.

This is why I don't give my tips first because you immediately regret that you gave them $5 tips for this, when you do Togo orders... this is whole sandwich order of steak and chadder, you don't see chadder and very small amount of steak and I can't find red onions... very disappointing and disgusting service. Definitely I don't recommend and feel so bad to people live close to this place and have to deal with this world worst food ever, I hope whoever made this sandwich gets a good lesson and gets some another training.

Panera is partnering with delivery services right now. I was excited! Especially since Panera has expressed how important the health and safety of their customers is to them. They are requesting that you enter instructions for the drivers to drop your food with no contact. The order got here quickly. The driver ignored the delivery instructions, ignored my beware of dogs sign and came right to my door; WITH HER MASK OFF. My dogs were going crazy so I couldn't refuse the delivery. After my husband and I assessed, the food was well protected and his smoothie had a covered lid. My coffee on the other hand had a partially open lid so, it was not consumed. I called this location to inform them of the poor delivery. Their manager, Gerard, was full of excuses and refused to take responsibility. I believe that if you're partnering with someone you represent each other's company's so, he was partially responsible. On top of it all take a look at the meager coffee portion I was given, half the cup was whipped cream so I paid $5 for 4oz of coffee. Goodbye Panera.
