recently visited Yard House at Baybrook in Houston with a party of four, and overall, we had a great experience. The food was definitely the highlight of the evening, every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. From appetizers to entrées, the variety on the menu was impressive, and it catered well to different tastes in our group. The portion sizes were generous, and everything came out at the right temperature. The atmosphere was another strong point. Despite being a popular spot, it wasn’t overly loud, which made it easy to have a conversation without shouting across the table. The lighting and décor gave the place a nice vibe trendy but still comfortable. As for service, our waitress was friendly and welcoming, but there were a few hiccups. She seemed to forget about us a few times during the meal, which led us to ask another staff member for assistance on a couple of occasions. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did slightly affect the flow of the dining experience. To her credit, when she was present, she was polite and accommodating. Drinks were also a win here. Yard House is known for its large beer selection, and they didn’t disappoint. We tried a couple of seasonal options and were pleased with the recommendations. All in all, Yard House at Baybrook is a solid choice for casual dining with friends or family. Great food, a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, and a wide drink selection make it worth a visit. Just a little more attentiveness in service would have made it perfect. We’ll definitely consider coming back again soon.

Update 8/23/25 I went back for a dinner alone in the bar. I was seated quickly. My server came right over and assisted me in picking a delicious Pink Dragon from the bar menu. I ended up being torn on my food choice and suggested thr tacos. They definitely did not disappoint! I had the Vampire and the Birria tacos. The Vampire was 10/10, wish I would have gotten 3!! I will be back to eat more very soon. To finish the even off I was joined by my daughter and her friend. The server had no problem accommodating them. They ordered the Oreo Brookie. It was also 10/10 so amazing. Pictured is what was left 😉 The service, food, and drinks were fantastic. The Maui Pineapple Chicken was flavorful and filling.

Always love a good Yard House. The place has plenty of seating inside and outside and we were seated quickly. Our server was very patient with our chaotic table but she rocked it. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted great.

I have been here several times with my Mom for happy hour, the food is great but half price appetizers and Pizza's are the best! Service has always been and I hope it will always be top notch! The food is always fresh and delicious. I've thoroughly enjoyed the sliders, BBQ boneless wings, sweet potato fries, the Maple Dijon is out of this world, and the BBQ Chicken pizza is excellent! I also didn't know that they had Dragon Fruit Lemonade! 05-19-2025 My mom and I come back from time to time for the Happy Hour, and the food is still great! Unfortunately they no longer have the BBQ pizza but they can substitute the spicy sauce for the BBQ sauce. Thank you Audrey for the excellent Service!

Yard House is a great restaurant if you’re looking for large portions, quality food, and a nice seating arrangement. There is a spacious indoor area, but I would argue that the outdoor patio has a nicer atmosphere. While sitting outside and enjoying your food you can watch the sports that usually are displayed. The best part of Yard House is its food. One of my favorite menu items is the Double Decker BLT, which is exactly how it sounds: 3 slices of toast with lettuce, tomato, and lots (and I mean LOTS) of bacon. It’s such a good meal, and so is the Bacon Cheeseburger, which showcases great flavor. The prices are worth it for the portion, taste, and experience. Overall, this is a great place at which to eat. It is perfect for any occasion, whether it be a casual lunch or a nice dinner.

This place is amazing and we will be back. We ended up getting dessert, we chose the cheesecake brûlée to take home. I ate the stacked turkey club and boy was it stacked, hubby ate the Korean beef tacos. The truffle fries are pretty good too. We will be back to try out more.

Came in for some good food after the NASA experience. Claudia was our waitress and she was simply awesome! The appetizer we ordered was the onion ring tower and it was cooked very well and was super tasty for our family. For lunch we ordered the carnivore pizza, hamburger, turkey club and the truffle fries. All of the food was really good and the truffle fries were really amazing. So much garlic and truffle. Almost too much but can you really have too much truffle and garlic?

In the past I have had better luck with their food. The service is generally good. I went for happy hour the specials are really good for happy hour.

This place is a great place to watch your favorite team or sport. There are TVs everywhere. The food is excellent with a wide variety of choices to choose from. After several visits our favorite appetizers so far are: Poke Nachos, Spicy Tuna Stack, Cali Roll Stack, Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Parmesan Truffles Fries. For Main dishes we have tried: Spicy Jambalaya, Sesame-Crusted Ahi, Truffle Cheese Burger, Poke Salad. For dessert we had the Bread Pudding.

Had a good meal. Wife had salmon and loved it. I had the Korean Ribeye. Asked for medium rare and it was pink. A little overcooked. I kept it anyway. Firecracker shrimp are good. Could have been crunchy and they were a little soft. Had the Strawberry Mule and it was mixed just right.

Our visit to Yard House for drinks turned into a delightful experience! We initially stopped by for drinks but ended up indulging in a fantastic array of dishes. The four cheese spinach dip, truffle fries, and fried chicken tenders were all highlights, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. To cap off our meal, we couldn't resist trying the choco lava cake, and it did not disappoint. The perfect blend of rich chocolate and gooey center was a decadent treat that left us craving more. Overall, everything at Yard House was great, from the food to the drinks. If you're looking for a place with delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere, Yard House is the way to go.

Love the environment, the music is great. Food is ok depending who is cooking, if the effort is made. Beers are good only issue is how most of the time they don’t attempt to fill it up, not to the rim but to get what I am paying for, then my visit yesterday I notice that one of the pub glasses was smaller that the other, same height of the cup but one of the cups were slimmer. So less beer but for the same price and they tend to skimp the amount almost every time. First pic is of the difference size cup other ones are from previous visits. Only reason I go back is because the environment.

The atmosphere is great and the service is very good. The drinks are good with a great selection. The food is pretty good too with great variety. Their sauces served with the apps need to be retooled. They need better ranch, they need a remoulade sauce for their calamari over tartar sauce. Fixing the sauces could really elevate Yard House. Recommend the Poke nachos, Cali Stack, and the Tuna stack.

This was such a let down. I was really excited about trying this restaurant and the beautiful atmosphere. Well, after visiting The Yard House....I was very underwhelmed and disappointed. Tiny space, feels cramped....food choices were basic ...and the food itself was just boring. Will not be coming back unfortunately.🤷🏽‍♂️

Just left from here we ordered the FireCracker Shrimp, me and my friend ate most of it only 2 shrimp left when I took my last bite i noticed the shrimps were RAW. We waited on our server to come back to let her know, we immediately told her the shrimp is raw and she asked to take the plate back we let her know that we no longer wanted to eat here, after that response she left with a plate to get a manager. The manager came did not even apologize once for serving RAW FOOD! She asked how we were and again we told her we were served raw food. She asked to take the plate back and we told her no we no longer want to eat here, she said wait here give me a second.. left us hanging again NO APOLOGY nothing. She came back and said she took care of it and we took off! They let us leave without paying for our drinks or the truffle fries we got(not raw) but we definitely won’t ever be back. We ate almost the whole count before realizing we were served RAW SHRIMP.

Disappointing Visit – Poor Beer Availability We visit this location frequently, and while the food is consistently great, the service can be hit or miss. Normally, we enjoy our meals here, but our most recent visit was a letdown. One ongoing frustration is the beer selection. About 80% of the time I’ve ordered a beer here, they’ve been out of what I wanted. This visit was no exception—and it was even more disappointing because we specifically came to try their advertised Oktoberfest menu. I ordered the Bier Brat Sliders and a beer from their Oktoberfest list. After a while, our waitress returned to say they were out of that beer. I ordered an alternative from the same Oktoberfest menu—only to later find out they were out of that one too. On her third trip back, she informed me that they were completely out of all the Oktoberfest beers. The food itself was pretty good, but for a place that prides itself on having a large beer selection, the poor availability was really frustrating. Unfortunately, after this experience, I decided not to order any beer at all. We usually enjoy coming here, but the repeated issue of being out of key menu items—especially featured beers—is disappointing and really takes away from what could otherwise be a great experience.
